World Flipper Will Get a Global Launch in 2021 by Kakao Games

World Flipper is a pixel art pinball RPG that launched for smartphones in Japan in November 2019, and it will get a global release in 2021 by Kakao Games.

Cygames published World Flipper in Japan, but Kakao Games, the company that published Princess Connect! Re: Dive in South Korea will handle publishing the game on a global scale. Kakao Games will handle the game in North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, Korea, and other regions as Cygames’ global partners.

As Kimura mentions in the video, World Flipper is a mix of action and pinball. You launch heroes like a pinball game, but they have skills and can perform combo attacks as you’d see in RPGs, along with a pixel graphics style.

The gameplay for World Flipper mostly involves launching characters on a pinball field with enemies. There are pinball elements such as a “Fever” meter and you can also tap characters in mid-air to change their trajectory. The game also offers co-op battles, where players can team up to take on Boss Battles.
