When did Octopath Traveler 1 leave Game ?

Octopath Traveler 1 makes its return to Game after leaving the service in March 2023. When it was released on Xbox consoles on March 25, 2021, it was also included in the subscription as a day one game. The time between the Square Enix title’s inclusion and its departure was a few weeks shy of two years.

When will Octopath Traveler 1 & 2 leave Game ?

The Octopath Traveler games will leave Xbox and PC Game in January 2026. That means Game subscribers have one year and seven months to complete both Octopath 1 & 2. Announcing when titles are leaving this well in advance is unprecedented for Microsoft. Usually, the Xbox Game official X(formally Twitter) will notify s when a game is leaving the service two weeks before it becomes unavailable.
