Valorant is one of those games that, while free-to-play, doesn’t rely on a gacha system. Money basically comes in via paying for the $9.99 Battle , specific agents, and cosmetics, which you can get with Valorant Points purchased with real cash or gift cards like ones sold by Riot Games shares Valorant codes from time to time, and redeeming them is a great way to build up.
How do I redeem Valorant codes?
This is an extremely easy process, whether you’re doing so via the official site or in-game. If you to your while visiting the Riot Games shop, there is a Riot Code Redemption page. I’ve found this is the easiest option, since you can directly copy and paste any codes found via the official Discord, social media on X, and new section on the game’s site. After logging in, you copy the code into the “enter code” box, then click the Redeem Code button. It will then be available in-game and tied to your .
If you’re in-game, it’s also pretty simple to redeem any active Valorant codes. As I mentioned earlier, Valorant Points are the in-game currency, and there’s a menu tied to it. Clicking on that icon will take you to a Prepaid Cards and Codes section. This is where you enter both the Riot Games codes or gift card ones. Once you enter it, hit submit. You’ll then get the items.
Here’s a gallery showing how to find the redemption page in-game and where you enter the codes.

Are there any Valorant codes available now?
At the moment, there unfortunately aren’t any live codes for the game! This changes often, however. Riot Games often releases new ones to coincide with special events or milestone moments. When the company does, it will often release a dedicated news post mentioning it.
However, Valorant is also a bit of an unusual situation. There have been times in the past when the developer reactivated old codes. So while the following ones are inactive right now, it’s worth keeping them in mind in case they start working again. (For example, the Pride Month ones could be active in June 2025 again!) In some cases, I also mentioned what they would unlock.
All expired Valorant codes:
- CC-VAL24-PLAYR-CARDS – 8 Pride Player Cards for us to use. In the past, there were separate codes for each card, such as COTTONCANDY, GALACTIC, and SHERBERT. It was live in June 2024.
- CC-VAL24-HEART-BUDDY – This netted us a Pride Tactibear Gun Buddy. It was live in June 2024.
- CC-VAL24-BETTR-2GTHR – This got us the Pride “Better Together” player title. It was live in June 2024.
- CC-VLRNT-CCHAL-00001 – We got the “Not a Peep” and “Versus // Deadlock + Gekko” Player Cards with this got. This was a Community Challenges 2023 reward code.
- CC-VLRNT-CCHAL-VAL02 – If we redeemed this code, we got a Seal of Approval Gun Buddy cosmetic. This was given out on December 1, 2023.
- CC-VLRNT-CCHAL-WNGMN – When we redeemed this, we got the Drop It Wingman Spray. This was also a December 2023 bonus.

If a code isn’t working and should, then there are two possibilities for it not working out. One is that there might be a typo, which is why I recommend using the Riot Code Redemption page and copying and pasting known codes. The other is that it might have recently expired and suddenly become unavailable.
While there haven’t been any new codes for the game recently, some important additions came up. Waylay debuted as a new Agent back on March 5, 2025. That’s the 28th one in-game. Riot Games will also add replays in September 2025.
Valorant is available on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
