Walmart already announced details about how it will handle its Black Friday Deals sale for 2024, and this time it noted Walmart+ who subscribe to that plan will get early access. People who are can get access to deals online at 9am PT/12pm ET on November 11, 2024, while everyone else needs to wait until 2pm PT/5pm ET. In-stores sales start on November 15, 2024. 

The initial teaser didn’t actually announce any of the sales yet. The images on the announcement page did show a few items suggesting TVs, kitchen appliances, and toys will be a part of it. For example, the image referencing TVs showed a photo of a Hisense UHD LCD Roku Smart TV, but didn’t mention which size would be on sale. A Squishmallow cat plush appeared on the one for toys. The kitchen goods teaser highlighted a Gourmia air fryer.

Walmart also announced that its Walmart+ hip is temporarily on sale alongside the Black Friday Deals sale reveal for 2024. It is 50% off the one-year hip. That costs $49, rather than $98, at the moment. In addition to early access to the sale, there are discounts on Burger King purchases and gas at certain gas stations. You also get free shipping from the website or delivery from stores. People get access to Paramount+ as well.

It isn’t unusual for the Walmart Black Friday Deals sale to start early like this. In 2023, video game discounts started showing up online on November 8, 2023. 

The Walmart Black Friday Deals 2024 sale runs between November 11-17, 2024. Actual Black Friday falls on November 29, 2024, the day after Thanksgiving.

Walmart released its 2023 Black Friday Deals ad, which includes a notable selection of video games and accessories. The Black Friday event begins on November 22, 2023 at 3pm ET.

The highlight of the 2023 Black Friday deals is the Nintendo Switch Lite Animal Crossing: New Horizons Bundle, which Walmart will be selling for $199. The bundle contains an Aloha Edition of the Switch Lite plus a digital of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Additionally, some accessories are part of the sale. A Midnight Black PS5 controller will be available for $49, while a Carbon Black Xbox controller will be $45. There are also deals on the Backbone One mobile controller accessory, all of which will be available for $69 during the Black Friday event.

In the case of the PS5 and Xbox Series X, both are listed as online-only. However, with the Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series S, there is no such notation. Also, the deals note that things can kick off starting on November 22, 2021 in some cases. Especially for Walmart+ .

The video game deals appear in the first three pages of the Walmart Black Friday 2021 ad. The Xbox Series S is on the front page. It is listed at $299.99. The notation next to it says it will be available online at 4pm PT/7pm ET on November 22, 2021. However, it also says at 5am local time, people could find them in-store. The Nintendo Switch Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Black Friday bundle is listed at $299.

As for the PS5 and Xbox Series X, Walmart only lists one date for them. It said both will be “online only.” Each one will also be $499. In the fine print, the $399 PS5 Digital Edition also is mentioned.

As for the games, here are the titles that will be reduced during the Walmart Black Friday 2021 sale. The ad also noted there will be more games online and in-store. Walmart has released its flyer for its Black Friday 2020 sales. The flyer states that the stores are closed for Thanksgiving and that the sales will begin on November 25, 2020 at 7 PM ET. Walmart will also be offering deals on Xbox Ultimate Game and PlayStation Network subscriptions. A three-month hip for the former will be available for $22.88 and a twelve-month hip for the latter will be available for $44.96.

This year, Black Friday is on Friday, November 27, 2020. Some companies, like Nintendo and Best Buy, have already made their Black Friday deals available for use.

Back when November 2020 began, Sony announced PlayStation 5 launch units would only be available online as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. It didn’t announce which retailers would have them, but said to keep an eye out. Well, now the Walmart PS5 order periods have been announced, and the November 12, 2020 launch day sales of the system will begin at the retailer’s website in half an hour at 9am PT/12pm ET.

Walmart will sell the PS5 standard and digital editions in four batches today. The first will appear at 9am PT/12pm ET. The second will show up at 12pm PT/3pm ET. The third will appear at 3pm PT/6pm ET. Finally, the last round will go live at 6pm PT/9pm ET. Walmart didn’t note how many systems will be available during each period, but the digital version will be $399 and the standard model $499.

Other stores have also talked about their PS5 sale plans. Best Buy noted it won’t have the PS5 or Xbox Series X available to buy in-store at launch or during the 2020 holiday shopping season, with online sales only available. As for GameStop, it said it would have some PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles in-store to buy during its Black Friday 2020 sales.

The PlayStation 5 is now available in Australia, Japan, North America and South Korea. It will come to other regions on November 19, 2020.
