Ateam and Cover announced that the next Valkyrie Connect Hololive event will kick off on May 17, 2024, and now there’s a trailer promoting the event. It focuses on the Hololive Japan Vtubers Hakui Koyori, Ookami Mio, Sakura Miko, and Yukihana Lamy, who are all ing the game as playable characters for this event.  

Things begin with chibi art of Koyori, Lamy, Miko, and Mio. After that, it shows off the in-game models and gameplay footage for each Vtuber. It begins with Mio. Then, we get to see Miko. Lamy footage and art showed up after that. After seeing their character models all together.

As a result of past events, the following Hololive Vtubers already appeared in the game:

While Ookami Mio is present as a character in this crossover, she is currently on a break. Cover announced she is in the hospital on May 12, 2024. She won’t be participating in other scheduled concerts and events as a result.

The next Hololive Valkyrie Connect event begins on May 17, 2024, and we now know all four Vtubers who will be a part of it. People will be able to collect playable versions of Hakui Koyori, Ookami Mio, Sakura Miko, and Yukihana Lamy. 

Koyori and Lamy were the first two characters revealed worldwide. You can see that announcement from May 8, 2024, as well as their official in-game art, below.

There were two Hololive Valkyrie Connect crossover events prior to this one, each with four Vtubers from the company involved. The first one from 2022 included Kiara Takanashi, Ninomae Ina’nis, Laplus Darkness, and Usada Pekora. A second one appeared in 2023. In that event, Nanashi Mumei, Ouro Kronii, Sakamata Chloe, and Houshou Marine appeared in the game.

Over the weekend, Ateam teased the final two VTubers who would be a part of the Valkyrie Connect Hololive event. We already knew one would be a member of the English branch, and the other from the Japanese one. Now, we know that both Nanashi Mumei and Sakamata Chloe will appear as playable Valkyrie Connect characters. They will appear alongside Houshou Marine and Ouro Kronii.

Their full art and movesets aren't revealed yet. Rather, Ateam showed us splash art of their faces in a new banner that also showed the previously revealed VTubers. It also noted that the Nanashi Mumei and Sakamata Chloe Valkyrie Connect characters will appear in their own videos, as will the other two.

Once the event is live, that means eight Hololive VTubers will be playable characters in the game. The original event involved Takanashi Kiara, Ninomae Ina’nis, La+ Darkness, and Usada Pekora. All four later returned with Awakened forms.

Ateam revealed the next new guest character for the second Hololive Valkyrie Connect event will be Ouro Kronii. In preparation for the event, she will be doing a special livestream along with Takanashi Kiara going over some details about the crossover. This stream will go live on April 27, 2023 at 2pm PT/5pm ET.

Ouro Kronii is the second confirmed guest character of this new Hololive Valkyrie Connect event after Hololive Fantasy’s Houshou Marine. Her character's official art wasn't shared yet, but people can expect to see that during the presentation with Kiara. However, details about her kit and abilities likely won't come up until either just before launch or after the crossover begins.

This marks half of this next event's new confirmed characters. There will be two representatives for Hololive’s Japanese and English branches. This follows the pattern from the initial one. For the first Hololive Valkyrie Connect collaboration in May 2022, the guest stars were Takanashi Kiara, Ina’nis Ninomae, La+ Darkness, and Pekora Usada, all of which returned with Awakened versions in January 2023.

Back in May 2022, Ateam announced it would hold a second Hololive collab event in Valkyrie Connect. Now a new stream involved additional details about it. While we don't know all four of the performers who will appear, one did come up. The developers showed how Houshou Marine will look as a Valkyrie Connect character. In total, there will be two new characters based on VTubers from the Japanese branch and two based on Hololive English .

First, here's the Houshou Marine Valkyrie Connect official art. Rather than a traditional pirate outfit, she has a new design and wields a lance.

The Valkyrie Connect Hololive mini collab event now live, and there are new details about what to expect from the event. To start, everyone can earn Kiara Takanashi, Ina’nis Ninomae, La+ Darkness, and Pekora Usada for free. They can also get the Awakening materials for free during the event. If they get both, they can unlock the awakened forms of all four characters. These versions feature newly voiced lines from the four Vtubers.

First, here are the latest images showing how the Awakened versions of Kiara, Ina’nis, La+, and Pekora look in Valkyrie Connect. The outfits for each remain the same. The poses for each shift and, in some cases, look a bit more dynamic. For example, Pekora is sharing a peace sign and wielding her staff in a different way for hers. Ina’nis is now sitting down and has her tome in her hand. Kiara looks like she is about to strike with her sword. Finally, La+ is holding her polearm menacingly.

The new voice lines haven't been officially shared yet. Those appear when the awakened version reaches its max level.

Ahead of the event, Kiara and Ina’nis hosted a stream going over it. They also show direct comparisons between the before-and-after appearances of all four Hololive Valkyrie Connect units.

A second second Hololive event is also apparently on the way. There are no details about it yet.

The original Hololive Valkyrie Connect event will be coming back to the game. This means people will once again see Laplus Darkness, Ninomae Ina’nis, Takanashi Kiara, and Usada Pekora in-game again. This is described as a “mini collab,” rather than a full-fledged rerun, and is in honor of all four getting their “awakening” to power the units up. The event will begin on January 10, 2023.

Awakening a character in Valkyrie Connect is essentially a means of powering them up. To do so, you need to completely build up a character. You then need to get materials like Awakening Runes, Awakening Rune Shards, Soul Crystals, and Soul Shards for them.

There is also a contest leading up to the awakening. People can retweet a contest tweet to get a metallic art print of the four Hololive Vtubers in their game costumes.

The original crossover began back in May 2022. Ateam also teased a second Hololive event for the game. However, details about it haven't come up yet.

Valkyrie Connect is available on iOS and Android devices, as well as PC via Steam. The Hololive event will be back in Valkyrie Connect between January 10-31, 2023.

Even more Hololive Vtubers will be heading to Valkyrie Connect. The mobile game is in the midst of its first crossover with Cover’s streamers. However, another is in the works. Ateam took to Twitter to confirm it is on the way.

There are no details yet for this second Hololive event. That means it is unknown which Vtubers could appear as units or when it could show up. If it follows the same pattern as the original Valkyrie Connect Hololive event, then a mix of people from the Japanese and English branches could show up.

The current event began back on May 17, 2022. Four Hololive Vtubers ended up turned into characters in-game. Hololive Fantasy’s Usada Pekora, Secret Society holoX’s La+ Darknesss, and Hololive English Myth Takanashi Kiara and Ninomae Ina’nis showed up in-game. As La+ Darknesss and Ina’nis’ birthdays fell during the event, special gifts were doled out.

Ateam announced that the four characters debuting as part of the hololive Valkyrie Connect collaboration will be Usada Pekora, Laplus Darkness, Takanashi Kiara, and Ninomae Ina'nis. The collaboration event will be available worldwide starting May 17, 2022, at 5 PM JST/10 AM CEST. The event will end on June 1, 2022, at 12 AM JST/May 31, 2022, at 5 PM CEST. The collaboration event "Connect Your Wish" will be available for free, including for those just starting out in Valkyrie Connect. By completing quests during the event period, players will earn " Points." The game will award players with gifts based on a global tally of these points. The official Valkyrie Connect Twitter teased the hololive collaboration characters with silhouettes earlier this month. Additionally, there will be a "Paint it Holo" campaign starting on May 11, 2022, where fans can acquire event- and hololive-themed Twitter icons by connecting their s to the Valkyrie Connect website. Only the JP Valkyrie Connect website has announced this campaign, however, and it may be limited to s in Japan.

A Valkyrie Connect Hololive event is on the way, which will involve Vtubers from the Japanese and English branches being turned into characters in-game. The official reveal is going to come at 12 p.m. JST/5 a.m. CET on May 10, 2022. That’s 8 p.m. PT/11 p.m. ET on May 9, 2022. However, ahead of that Ateam shared some rather revealing silhouettes of the units.

The four Valkyrie Connect characters’ silhouettes involve the Hololive Vtubers’ signature colors and certain familiar accents. This means it is possible to tell who they are, even ahead of the official Ateam hints about their identities.

First, here’s a silhouette teasing a La+ Darknesss unit. She’s part of the Japanese sixth generation of Vtubers. You can clearly see her horns in the image.

Next, here’s the Pekora Usada one. She’s a member of the third Japanese generation. You can see her rabbit ears and the carrots in her hair. A teaser tweet further confirmed her appearance and showed a part of her outfit.

After that is a Kiara Takanashi teaser. She’s a phoenix, so you can see her wings and hints at her hairstyle. She’s part of Hololive English’s first generation.

Finally, Ina’nis Ninomae is the last Vtuber who will appear. You can see her tentacles in the background of her design. Like Kiara, she’s a Hololive En first generation member.

People who submit art with their "guesses" on Twitter could see it appear during the announcement stream. Hololive will appear during it.
