A collaboration between the Monster Hunter brand and Transformers has been announced, with a special Silver Rathalos Prime model to release sometime soon. Pre-orders for the Silver Rathalos Prime Transformers model will open on February 13, 2025. It is unclear if this product will be available outside of Japan.

While the image of the model is fairly small, when transformed into it's bipedal form, the Transformers model takes on an appearance similar to that of the armor you can obtain when hunting the fearsome Rathalos. Consumers can, for lack of a better word, transform the figure into the aforementioned bipedal mode, or to resemble the Rathalos.

The Sapporo 2025 Snow Festival will feature another Monster Hunter installation. This time, it will be a wall of snow sculpted to feature the Arkveld and a Palico. The sculpture will remain on display until February 11, 2025. This installation is being used to promote Monster Hunter Wilds, an entry in the Monster Hunter series that will follow the same systems put into place by Monster Hunter Worlds and it's expansion Iceborne.

Monster Hunter Wilds will release worldwide for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC on February 28, 2025.

The Pop-up Pirate crossover toy featuring Houshou Marine is real, and it will appear worldwide in mid-2025. Cover has confirmed via the Hololive Production X that it has opened pre-orders for the toy set. The company will formally release Houshou Marine Kiki Ippatsu in July 2025.

The toy originally appeared as a proposed project during a livestream held in May 2024, when Marine celebrated her 3 million YouTube subscribers milestone that she reached in January 2024. The pirate-themed Vtuber approached Takara Tomy to produce a Pop-up Pirate toy modeled after herself after playing a game using the original toy with the company's staff . After over half a year ed since the stream, Tomy has confirmed that it will actually produce and sell the crossover toy with Cover.

As with the original Pop-up Pirate, players will take turns stabbing a knife into the barrel after placing the Houshou Marine doll inside it. The person who manages to make Marine jump out with their stab will win the game.

The toy set will be available at ¥4,400 / $28.00. The Hololive Production Official Shop can ship the product to select countries and territories in the Americas, Asia, and New Zealand. People residing elsewhere worldwide can alternatively place their orders on Geek Jack.

Cover will start shipping the Pop-up Pirate-inspired Houshou Marine Kiki Ippatsu set in early July 2025.

Retail therapy during quarantine has been a real thing for me. Without fail, I seem to stumble across a dozen things I just have to own on a daily basis. There are cycles: while I'm always up for more Nendoroids, some days I'm more excited for tiny cat hats and others I think maybe now is the time to attempt a model kit. This week I am all about the Club Mocchi Mocchi Nintendo plush toys from Tomy.

I've felt one once, in the Before Times, when my local GameStop was open. (RIP!) The Goomba I spotted on the shelf was the softest and squishiest thing I had ever touched! But I don't particularly like purchasing plush toys that I want to snuggle from a retail store. Who knows how many filthy hands or snotty noses touched them. (Thank goodness for internet shopping.)

Tomy's officially licensed Nintendo plush line focuses on some of the company's best selling franchises. There are plenty of Super Mario squish 'ems. Maybe you'd rather have a couch full of Kirbys. Splatoon more your thing? Here's a rainbow of Squids. Jenni and I are crushing on the new Animal Crossing ones pretty hard.

Not only are these made from incredibly soft fabric, the embroidery work is on point. Take a closer look at the detailing required to bring Boo to life. The threads feel similar to the silk embroidery threads I use to for cross stitching on clothing. This keeps the silky soft feel consistent. Just try to not shove your face into these.

Currently available plushies start at 4 inches with the tiny cuddly clip-ons and run up to a whopping 27 in W x 22 in D x 17 in H for the Jumbo Kirby plush. I won't lie. The temptation to buy one of those instead of a set of Tom Nook and Isabelle for my recliner is real. Not sure there'd be room for me on my chair. Sitting on the floor is comfortable, yes?

A 2019 Zoids game will be getting a worldwide release. Zoids Wild: King of Blast, which first showed up in February 2019 on the Nintendo Switch in Japan, will be known as Zoids Wild: Blast Unleashed outside Japan. It will launch on October 16, 2020.

In Zoids Wild: Blast Unleashed, people can go through a story mode inspired by Zoids Wild and take on various missions connected to certain Zoids. There will also be 1v1 multiplayer fights.

The one thing the reveal didn’t get into is if we will be getting the fully updated version of Zoids Wild: King of Blast. When the game first launched in Japan, it only had 10 Zoids in it. In June 2019, a free update added an additional 12 Zoids, with more missions tailored to them, and six stages. 

This announcement also comes after the reveal that a follow-up is on the way. Another Zoids Wild game will be released on the Nintendo Switch in Japan in Winter 2020. That entry will include Zoids people can modify.

Zoids Wild: Blast Unleashed will come to the Nintendo Switch outside Japan on October 16, 2020. It is immediately available in Japan.

Tomy is testing all of the features on the Nintendo 3DS with Naruto Shippuden: Nin-rittai Emake! Saikyou Ninkai Kessen or Naruto Shippuden 3D: The New Era as its being called in Europe.

The Naruto game for the Nintendo 3DS has quick tilt events. Players have to quickly move the system to make Naruto dodge. If you're successful an animation will play showing Naruto evading the attack. Miss and Naruto takes damage.

Outside of tilt events, Naruto Shippuden 3D: The New Era is a side-scrolling action game. Similar to Tomy's Ninja Academy series players can call other characters from the series for special attacks. Sakura, Sai, Kakashi, Yamato, Shikamaru, Rock Lee, Neji, Hinata, Killer Bee, and sage toads Fukasaku & Shima are confirmed to be in the game. Tomy hid ninja scrolls in levels for players to find. Grab these and you can power-up Naruto by increasing his life, chakra meter, and how fast the gauge recovers.

Naruto Shippuden 3D: The New Era comes out on March 31 in Japan and slated for release this year in Europe.

Well, that didn’t take long at all. The game isn’t even out in Japan yet, and already we have confirmation that Tomy’s Naruto Shippuden: Nin-rittai Emake! Saikyou Ninkai Kessen on the Nintendo 3DS will be seeing a localized release...but only in Europe for now.

Saikyou Ninkai Kaisen is being brought overseas by U.K. publisher, 505 Games, who have dubbed the title “Naruto Shippuden 3D – The New Era.” 505 Games say that Naruto Shippuden 3D – The New Era will be published sometime during 2011.

The New Era features a new female character by the name of Malice. It also allows you to transform into Naruto’s “Sage mode” once his special gauge is completely charged. Interestingly, 505 also say that the game will make use of the 3DS’ “motion controls” in certain situations, like dodging certain attacks and during boss fights.

Aside from unlockables found during the course of the game, 505 will be distributing “Sharingan codes” as well (QR Codes perhaps?), which you’ll need to detect with the Nintendo 3DS camera to unlock in-game items and characters.

Tomy have another Naruto games in development in the form of Naruto Shippuden: Nin-rittai Emake! Saikyou Ninkai Kessen for the 3DS, which is due for release on March 31st. This week, they released TV commercials and a promotional video for it, which you can find above.

Developing by Eighting, Saikyou Ninkai Kessen is an original Naruto Shippuden story that centres around the five kages or "shadows." In recent months, Atlus have been publishing Tomy's Naruto games in the U.S.

Atlus sent out a reminder about their third Naruto game, Naruto Shippuden: Shinobi Rumble, coming to the Nintendo DS in February. Unlike Dragon Blade Chronicles and Naruto vs. Sasuke, this one’s strictly a 2D fighting affair.

All of Atlus’ Naruto games were originally published by Tomy in Japan, and are being brought over as part of an agreement between the two publishers. In Japan, Tomy are soon set to publish another Naruto game, this time on the Nintendo 3DS.

Coming back to Shinobi Rumble, the game s up to four players. You’ll be able to ister “Ultra 1000 Years of Death” on Feb 8th.

Eighting, makers of the Naruto: Clash of Ninja series, are the developing Naruto Shippuden: Nin-rittai Emake! Saikyou Ninkai Kessen. However, it is not a fighting game. It's a scrolling action game loaded with stereoscopic 3D effects.

Tomy’s side-scrolling Naruto action game, Naruto Shippuden: Nin-rittai Emake! Saikyou Ninkai Kessen, has a release date. Tomy are bringing the Ninja Council-inspired game to the 3DS on March 31st.

Japanese magazine, Shonen Jump, previously reported that Saikyou Ninkai Kessen makes use of certain 3D effects like allowing Naruto to leap out of the screen, although it’s mostly a side-scroller. The game also makes use of the 3DS touchscreen for special attacks.

Additionally, Tomy also confirm on the game’s website that Saikyou Ninkai Kessen will be a strictly singleplayer game. Saikyou Ninkai Kessen hasn’t been announced for a U.S. release, but lately, Atlus USA have been publishing Tomy’s Naruto titles in North America.

Tomy is preparing a Naruto Shippuden: Nin-rittai Emake! Saikyou Ninkai Kessen, which sounds like a 3D take on the Naruto: Ninja Council series.

Shonen Jump explains this Naruto Shippuden game makes use of 3D fields, but it's mostly a side-scrolling ninja action game. Some levels make use of 3D gimmicks and players will see Naruto Uzumaki leap out of the screen. The bottom screen has touch screen special attacks and it appears you can tag a partner character like Sakura. Whether you change characters or call her out for a partner attack wasn't explained in the article.

Naruto Shippuden: Shinobi Rumble is slated for February 8, 2011. Unless Atlus has some secret announcement for January, this four player fighting game with Naruto and friends will be their first title next year.

Japan gets two Naruto fighting games this year. Developer Eighting is making Naruto Shippuden: Gekitou Ninja Taisen Special for Wii.

While V-Jump was recording a fight with Sage Naruto and Sasuke, they also briefly revealed the character select screen. Pretty much all of the characters from the West-only game Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 are in the game plus newcomers Killer Bee, Sage Mode Naruto, Minato, and Raikage. You can see these four characters in the bottom-middle of the screenshot. This game will be the first Naruto game with the Raikage as a playable character.

Let's take a look at the fight which has a Sasuke/Itachi team up against Naruto/Minato.

Naruto Shippuden: Gekitou Ninja Taisen Special comes out on December 2 in Japan. Like Clash of Ninja Revolution 3, this Wii game s online play over Nintendo Wi-Fi.

While Namco Bandai are publishing Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 from CyberConnect 2, Atlus grabbed the rights for Naruto Shippuden: Dragon Blade Chronicles by Tomy.

This Wii game is unlike Tomy's Clash of Ninja fighting game series. Naruto Shippuden: Dragon Blade Chronicles is a third-person action-adventure affair that lets you control both Naruto as he tries to stop the Genryu, five elemental dragons. Sasuke is a playable character in this game, but his goals for fighting the Genryu are different from Naruto. He and team Hebi are out to kill Itachi.

Atlus are prepping Naruto Shippuden: Dragon Blade Chronicles for November 16 in North America.
