Despite failing to reach Square Enix’s lofty sales expectations in its first few weeks on store shelves, Tomb Raider did eventually break even and make profits.
Square Enix announced Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition for Japan and the visually upgraded port will be a PlayStation 4 launch title. The game is slated for release on February 22, 2014 for PS4 and will also be available for Xbox One later on.
Square Enix confirmed Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition which leaked out ahead of the VGX reveal. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version has upgraded graphics and new models like redeg Lara's face with a higher polygon count.
