Nintendo Switch s can look forward to the release of Godzilla: Voxel Wars, a turn-based strategy game set to launch on February 20, 2025. Pre-orders for the game will begin on October 31, 2024. Alongside the standard edition, a limited Godzilla Store version will be available, which includes a Godzilla Store Limited Movie Monster Series figure (2023) in Voxel Wars Red, and a special postcard.

Developed by TOHO Games and Nukenin LLC, the game features Godzilla, Mothra, and King Ghidorah, who will face off against a new enemy, the Mushroom Monster known as Mash. The gameplay revolves around turn-based mechanics, where players earn points based on the number of turns it takes to complete each stage. The game features six distinct worlds, each presenting unique challenges and different monsters to battle. Players will also be able to design and share their own custom stages.

In related news, Godzilla Minus One/Minus Color released on Netflix, accompanied by a trailer for the film's streaming debut. The original Godzilla Minus One, explored the kaiju's emergence during World War II.

Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade, a mobile game that debuted in Japan in November 2023, will appear in English. Bilibili Game already opened pre-registration for the Android and iOS versions, though there is no word if the PC version that launched in other regions in April 2024 will also eventually show up everywhere too.

This game essentially follows Yuji Itadori’s story after he eats Ryomen Sukuna’s finger and, in so doing, is exposed to the world of sorcerers and curses. He then heads to Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School to learn to hone his new skills alongside his classmates Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki and teacher Satoru Gojo. 

Here’s the first English trailer for Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade, which includes some animated segments and a look at turn-based battles in the game.

Pre-registration is now open, and there are also rewards we get if certain tiers are hit. Here are the goals so far:

Sensor Tower revealed that the revenue for TOHO Games and Sumzap's Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade had sured $100 million in June 2024. The company made the announcement after it gathered earnings data for the free-to-play game on the Japanese iOS and Android scenes since its initial launch in late November 2023.

The company also noted that the game's half-anniversary celebrations in late May 2024 brought a new peak to the game's activities, which helped it reach the milestone quickly. In addition to a new all-high weekly active count, Sumzap also saw huge spikes in revenue rankings on mobile platforms following its additions of Satoru Gojo on May 21, 2024, Suguru Geto on May 31, 2024, and Toji Fushiguro on June 3, 2024.

Sensor Tower also published more charts that show how Phantom Parade dominated the Japanese mobile gaming market in the Squad RPG genre from its launch until June 30, 2024. With over $100 million in revenue and more than 3 million s recorded, the game sured the likes of Blue Archive, Haikyu!! Touch The Dream, and Saint Seiya: Legend of Justice. The company added that Phantom Parade had the second-highest overall sales after Umamusume: Pretty Derby.

The game reached the sales milestone even though it is still only formally available in Japan as of mid-2024. It could have gotten to the $100 million mark even earlier, as TOHO Games and Sumzap had also released the PC version of Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade on the DMM Games platform in April 2024. As mentioned earlier, Sensor Tower only gathered the game's statistics from the mobile releases via the Japanese official Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Toho Animation announced the release of a new Jujutsu Kaisen special showcase focused on bringing new information about the anime series and the video games based on the show. The broadcast will air on the official Toho Animation YouTube Channel on May 19, 2024 at 8pm JST.

Aside from talking about the Jujutsu Kaisen anime series, the other focus of the special showcase will be the recently released Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash fighting game, as well as the Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade mobile game, which also released on PC in April 2024. Cursed Clash Producer Misaki Kai will appear as one of the guests, alongside anime Season 2 and Phantom Parade producer Tatsuya Oomori.

Neki Matsuzawa will be the host of the broadcast, and Yuichi Nakamura and Takahiro Sakurai, the Japanese voice actors for Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto respectively, will appear as part of the special program to talk about the second season of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime series as well as the aforementioned console and mobile video games.

TOHO Games and Sumzap have released the PC version of Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade. After being previously teased in March 2024, people can now play the game on their PCs via the DMM Games platform. DMM Games has also added a new webpage that explains how existing players on mobile devices can link their data with the PC version. When players have completed this procedure, they will be able to sync almost all of their progress, inventory, and collection. Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade originally appeared on iOS and Android mobile devices on November 21, 2023. In this free-to-play RPG, people can form a party consisting of characters from the series by gathering them via gacha and other gameplay methods.

Phantom Parade is a mobile RPG with command-based battles where players can form a party consisting of characters gathered through gameplay and gacha. Players who already have an in the existing mobile versions will also be able to link their save data with the PC release.

TOHO Games and Sumzap initially revealed Phantom Parade in mid-2021 with a 2022 release window. However, the development team delayed the game's release multiple times until it eventually came out for mobile devices in late November 2023. In the new press release, TOHO Games also revealed that the free-to-play game has sured 4 million s as of February 5, 2024.

The PC version will only be available on Windows 10 64-bit or newer operating systems. People who want to play the game on PCs will also have to make sure that their devices have a minimum RAM of 8 GB, Intel UHD Graphics 620 VGA card, and at least 20 GB of free storage space.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade is immediately available on Android and iOS devices in Japan. The free-to-play Jujutsu Kaisen game will also appear on PC via DMM Games in 2024.

Karakai Jouzu Takagi-san - KyunKyun Records, a mobile game based on the Teasing Master Takagi-san series, will shut down. The announcement came via the game's official website and social media feed. The closure is scheduled for March 31, 2023, about 10 months after the game's debut.

The announcement did not explain the reason for the closure of Teasing Master Takagi-san - Kyunkyun Records. The management team apologized to fans for the suddenness of the announcement. The "Olive" currency, the in-game Kyunkyun port, and Ad Skip Tickets will be sold until January 31, 2023, after which no purchases will be possible. However, players have until the same date to earn any remaining rewards left on the current Kyunkyun port. A battle -like system, the Kyunkyun port will become inaccessible after January 2023, including any unearned rewards.

The Kyunkyun Records game is a hybrid of daily life simulator and music game. Players will interact with Takagi and have her sing songs in karaoke style. They'll also be able to purchase songs for her to sing, as well as clothes and accessories to dress her up in.

TOHO Games announced that it will shut down Godzilla Destruction on January 31, 2022, at noon JST (January 30, 2022, 10 PM ET). This title will be the first out of three Godzilla mobile games to have its server shut down.

Godzilla Destruction is a mobile action game where the player controls the eponymous kaiju monster to wreak havoc in cities around the globe. While the game's main objective is to crush all buildings in the city, Godzilla also has to deal with the defending military and kaiju rivals. Destroying these enemies will let Godzilla collect experience to level up and improve its skills. The player can also use items obtained from clearing stages to spin the gacha and collect more monsters and upgrade items.

This game launched simultaneously worldwide on April 27, 2021. When it shuts down at the end of January 2022, it will have lasted for only nine months.

TOHO Games revealed Godzilla Destruction as one of the three mobile games based on the movie franchise. The other two titles are the real-time strategy game Godzilla Battle Line and the kaiju-raising and racing simulation game Run Godzilla. The publisher launched all three titles in all regions worldwide. As of this writing, Run Godzilla and Battle Line are still undergoing active service without any announcements of closures.

Sumzap and TOHO Games have officially revealed Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade by opening its teaser website. The first mobile game adaptation for the popular manga title will be available on Android and iOS. [Thanks, Game Watch!]

The Phantom Parade mobile game will have RPG as its genre. It will be free-to-play with optional item purchases as its business model.

In the Japanese press release, Sumzap also shared new artworks of prominent characters that will appear in Phantom Parade. In addition to Satoru Gojo, Megumi Fushiguro, and the title's protagonist Yuji Inadori, we also newly learned that Nobara Kugisaki and Kento Nanami will the game's roster as well.

Sumzap also revealed this new mobile game in the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump. We have earlier learned about this title's existence through leaks of the comic magazine. However, the publisher just put up the teaser website today on Monday, the same day the magazine is actually released.

Phantom Parade will be based on Jujutsu Kaisen, a popular manga series running in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. Shueisha has sold over 50 million copies of the manga volumes as of May 2021. However, the series is currently undergoing a hiatus as the creator, Gege Akutami, needs time to recuperate his health.

TOHO Games published a new Godzilla Battle Line trailer which shows how to play the real-time strategy mobile game. It also revealed a new date for the worldwide launch. A new anime show based on the franchise, Godzilla Singular Point, is currently airing on Japanese television. Netflix will bring the show worldwide in June 2021. The famous Kaiju franchise is also receiving a theme park attraction and a board game adaptation in Japan.

The Android and iOS mobile game Godzilla Battle Line is immediately available in Australia and Canada, which saw it released earlier in April 2021. TOHO Games originally planned for the rest of the world to follow suit in May 2021. However, it has now moved the worldwide release date to June 15, 2021.
