Uniqlo announced it will sell shirts based on Pokemon Trading Card Game and Pokemon TCG Pocket, with both adult and kids styles appearing in August 2025. The official Japanese site updated showing the nine men’s designs, which are unisex items, and the eight kids options. 

The adult Uniqlo Pokemon Trading Card Game and TCG Pocket designs are divided into five t-shirts and four sweatshirts. In each case, they’ll be available in sizes XS (extra small) through XXXXL. Each shirt is ¥1,500 (~$11), and the sweatshirts are ¥2,990 (~$21). Designs feature characters like Gardevoir, Gengar, Kabuto, Magikarp, Mewtwo Omanyte, Pikachu, Slowpoke, Snorlax, Unown. In the case of the Gardevoir shirt and the Gengar and Mewtwo sweatshirts, the design is on the back.

As for the kids styles, there are four t-shirts and four sweatshirts. They can be found in children’s sizes 3-4y (100) to 13y (160). The shirts cost ¥990 (~$7) each, while the sweatshirts are ¥1,990 (~$14). In some cases, they feature designs similar to the adult options, such as with Pikachu and Mewtwo. However, the Charizard, Eevee, Lucario, Lapras, Mew, and Mimikyu styles are only available in the kids collection.

The US Uniqlo site isn’t showing any of these new shirts yet. However, it does show some of the other Pokemon Sketch style items already available. Since these types of collections do tend to show up everywhere, it might launch at or around the same time.

The Uniqlo Pokemon Trading Card Game and TCG Pocket shirts will show up in Japan in August 2025. It is unknown when we might start to see the designs appear in-stores and online worldwide. Pokemon TCG Pocket is available on mobile devices.

The next Pokemon TCG Pocket expansion pack drops on May 29, 2025, and Extradimensional Crisis focuses on Ultra Beasts and Pokemon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon. There will also be an in-game binder based on the Ultra Beasts in the shop that same day. A trailer teased some of the new cards and characters that will shop up as well. 

The video began with a look at the Buzzwole ex Ultra Beast card. It’s a grass-type with Punch and Big Beat attacks. Art of the character also appears on the booster pack packaging. The other Ultra Beasts shown in the Pokemon TCG Pocket Extradimensional Crisis include Blacephalon, Celesteela, Guzzlord ex, Kartana, Naganadel, Nihilego, Phermosa, Stakataka, and Xurkitree. Alongside them, other characters and creatures that first appeared in those 3DS games like Alolan Diglett, Lusamine, Rowlet, Shiinotic, Tapu Koko ex, Type: Null, and Zeraora will appear on cards.

This is the second Pokemon Sun and Moon era expansion to appear in the game. At the end of April, the Celestial Guardians one showed up. That focused on some of the more general characters, the Lunala and Solgaleo lines, and the Tapu guardian deities.

The Pokemon Trading Card Game expansion Destined Rivals launches later in May 2025. Here’s our overview of the set, so you know what to expect, and our picks for the best cards based on a varying criteria.

Is it weird to just say aesthetics? The Illustration Rare cards featuring trainers with their star partners are inherently compelling. Even other special partner cards look good. Heck, we’re big fans of the Elite Trainer Box with its flat black-and-red design and would have loved card treatments to match.

But even outside of looks, there are fundamentally cool cards in here. Lots are built around the Team Rocket faction, with underhanded tactics and their signature creatures. Thankfully, this time it isn’t relying upon indicating creatures are “mistreated” by giving them low HP and making them nearly useless? You still see some bad sportsmanship, though. Spidops likes to gang up on you. Houndoom burns and confuses simultaneously. Ampharos punishes opponents’ evolution with damage counters. Hypno mind-controls the opposing bench to swipe at its active pal. That’s not mentioning the dark faction’s, uh, Darkness Pokemon? Nidoking poisons for eight times the usual amount. Arbok has an ability to stop other abilities from entering play and swings its tail for a bunch of splash damage. There’s Muk, Crobat, Weezing, Sneasel… truly a lot to choose from here.

There’s also a dedicated Team Rocket Energy card, providing two Darkness or Psychic energy. With it, the super-strong Mewtwo ex can hit hard! The downside: you have to get at least three Rocket cards on the bench before it can hit at all. Even some out-of-type options use it well, like Moltres ex, which is happy to use it to fuel its normal attack, but can also Thanos-snap its foe to the discard pile with one.

There are 11 Team Rocket Trainer cards in the set, most with effects that you’re used to, but slightly better with the faction restriction. The Stadium lets you draw two cards a turn, offering the foe nothing unless it’s a mirror match. Its Great Ball always catches something, but evolution or basic is a coin flip. Its dedicated Transceiver lets you choose which one of these you want from your deck. Our favorite combo, though? That’s Team Rocket’s Wobbuffet and Orbeetle. Orbeetle lets you move around damage counters at will, while Wobbuffet’s attack transfers counters from one bench creature to the opponent.

The set’s focus on trainer’s Pokemon means that each essentially gets its own theme deck, cards designed to work together for a particular strategy. The Team Rocket collection is larger, and we hope that it might get more in the future. But the rest? This is probably what we’re getting.

Gold and Silver protagonist Ethan and recent companion Arven might be the headliners. Arven has a Mabosstiff, a Toedscruel and a Greedent, with no particular energy required and a dedicated sandwich item for efficient healing. It’s flexible, but may need an external centerpiece. Ethan’s party would only look nostalgic if you accidentally caught and used a ton of Fire types, with only a Pinsir and Sudowoodo with colorless attack options. He gets a dedicated Trainer to search for Pokemon and energy, and his Typhlosion’s attack needs you to have adventured as much as possible (into the discard pile) to really hit. His Ho-Oh is the star, speeding up your energy ramp and managing a decent attack in a pinch.

Gym leaders Misty and Marnie as well. Misty stays within her Water type and is the only one to not get a dedicated Trainer card to assist, so there’s not a lot her Lapras and Gyarados can do to get your attention. The art’s fun, at least? Marnie similarly sticks to the darkness, running the Grimmsnarl, Scrafty, Liepard and Morpeko lines. They’re not fancy, but they’re built to quickly attack and get a lot of energy cards attached, so we could see someone making good use of them.

Hoenn champion Steven and Sinnoh champion Cynthia round out the selection. Cynthia’s all about getting her Garchomp out and dealing a ton of damage while refilling your hand in the process. Her other Pokemon are essentially unplayable and don’t have a lot of synergy, but that Garchomp might be good enough to play anyway. Steven’s works a bit better, with a dedicated defense boost from Carbink, stadium card Granite Cave and an energy acceleration sweeper in his Metagross ex.

Because of the trainer’s connection, a lot of cards in this set don’t work universally. But hey, some do? Team Rocket’s Petrel is a functional reprint of Skyla, a popular er card that lets you search for any Trainer card you want. That’ll be welcome for a lot of decks, no matter the strategy. The new Shaymin shields much of your bench from your opponent’s attack damage, but that would need to be a counter to a particular strategy to become competitive. There’s a new Rapidash with card draw, but a Stage 1 is a hard sell as a utility. Finally, Yanmega ex loads itself up with energy to attack when it swaps in, but then has to ship that energy to a benched creature. It could deal the final blow, or it could set up another fighter really quickly.

It’s tougher to find these in this set! After all, so much of the cards are Pokemon at work, either as elite fighters for champions or prisoners of an evil gang. But they’re here if you look! Growlithe is sticking out its tongue in the woods. It’s hard to tell what Cetoddle and Breloom are up to, but they’re certainly having a good time. Even Misty’s Psyduck is having a rare no-migraine day and loving a lounge by the pool.

The Field Museum, located in Chicago, Illinois, announced it will host the Pokemon Fossil Museum exhibit. It will appear starting on May 22, 2026. It is possible to sign up at the official site to be notified about more information when available.

This exhibit is a recurring event that first debuted in Japan in 2021. Since then, it’s appeared multiple times in that country, with returning exhibits in 2022 and 2024. At time of writing, the event is being held in Japan at the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum. This marks the first time it will appear in the US. The Field Museum’s page confirms this iteration is based on Tokyo’s National Museum of Nature and Science one. It also noted real fossils and Pokemon trivia will come up. 

The Field Museum did confirm that this Pokemon Fossil Museum exhibit will require an additional ticket in addition to the general ission one. However, there are regular free days for Illinois residents who show proof they live in the state via a driver’s license, library card, or other methods. These additional exhibits often cost around $10 for adults and $8 for children, and general ission is $30 for adults, $23 for children, and $27 for students.

The Pokemon Fossil Museum will appear at the Field Museum in Chicago, Illinois, with the event starting on May 22, 2025.

I would never expected Wishiwashi to be my star of the Pokemon TCG Pocket Celestial Guardians expansion, but both cards based on it in the set are shockingly impressive. The synergy between the two is perfect. With a little effort, you could easily creep up on opponents with a combination of Wishiwashi and Wishiwashi ex. Plus, both work quite well with existing cards in the set.

Basically, this pair of cards becomes a duo to build an entire deck around in Pokemon TCG Pocket. Wishiwashi is only a 30 HP basic with one move, which lets you Call for Family for a single water energy to summon either Wishiwashi or Wishiwashi ex. The 170 HP Wishiwashi ex is your star, since School Storm starts at 30 damage for three water energy, but then deals an additional 40 damage for every extra Wishiwashi or Wishiwashi ex on the bench. 

Since you know this would be a Wishiwashi-focused deck, it does mean spending a bit on Celestial Guardians. Your goal would be, ideally I think, to have at least two Wishiwashi ex cards and between four and five Wishiwashi. This way, you could always try and have one Wishiwashi in your active position and enough on the bench to get 150 damage dealt each turn. 

What’s wonderful about this pair is how they work with others already released. Include some Misty cards from Genetic Apex! This can help you get the three water energy you need for Wishiwashi ex’s attack from your Energy Zone more quickly. Want to get the Wishiwashi out of the way of the Wishiwashi ex? Use Leaf to let it retreat for free. And of course you want to have some Poke Ball item cards if you stacked your deck with these two types, since both are Basic Pokemon. 

I also love how it’s easy to add a handy friend who isn’t a Wishiwashi, just in case you want a little extra coverage. The Space-Time Smackdown Regice, with its Crystal Body and 50 damage Frost Smash for two water energy, or the Manaphy that could use the one water energy Oceanic Gift to help add water energy to benched Wishiwashi ex cards could be great. Also, the Celestial Guardians Pyukumuku, with its Innards Out ability that deals 50 damage to an opponent who knocks it out, could help bide time as you add Wishiwashi to your bench.

I didn’t expect Wishiwashi to be so much fun in Pokemon TCG Pocket, but preparing a deck with the two Celestial Guardians cards based on it really made my day. It ended up being so much testing which additional cards would work and seeing if I had everything that would make a deck a force to be reckoned with in-game. I love that it ended up getting so much attention here, and that it’s so easy to help ensure it is a viable combo with other expansions’ options.

The Pokemon Company announced that Pokemon Center stores in Japan, as well as the Amazon storefront that does ship to the US, will begin selling a life-size Eevee plush. Details are slim about the toy so far. However, we do know that the online storefront will begin selling the new Eevee stuffed animal on April 24, 2025, followed by a wider release on April 26, 2025.

This Eevee is designed to look identical to the ones found in Pokemon games and in the anime. The pose features it lying down while looking up at their owner. We don’t know how big exactly it will be yet. According to in-game data, it is about a foot tall, but since this one is laying down it should be shorter than that. We do know the price will be 3,850円 (~$27).

There have been so many life-size Pokemon stuffed animals released prior to this Eevee plush. For example, this year started with a life-size Gardevoir doll debuting in January 2025. In honor of the year of the Snake, we also saw stuffed replicas of Ekans and Serperior. Others also included versions of Altaria, Larvesta, Lucario, Psyduck, Slowpoke, and Wailord.

As for whether or not we’ll see it outside of Japan in the US Pokemon Center online store, it is possible. After all, in the past we did see ones like the life-size Mareep launch worldwide. In fact, the aforementioned Larvesta is still in stock for $399.99.

The Pokemon Center announced that new Eevee skateboards by Bear Walker, which feature the character and its evolutions (eeveelutions), start at $129.99 each. However, the 2025 Eevee model costs $299.99. Nine total models are available now.

In the case of the less expensive models, they cover Espeon, Flareon, Glaceon, Jolteon, Leafeon, Sylveon, Umbreon, and Vaporeon. In each case, you only get the maple skateboard deck. The Eeveelution will appear on the bottom, set against a possible shiny foil background or one based on their type. The top features logos and a nod to the element of that Eeveelution. Only limited numbers of each one will be available. All of them only include the deck and no trucks or wheels to get it set up. Certificates of authenticity are included with each one.

As for the Eevee 2025 Bear Walker, it is slightly different. It is only made of maple and doesn’t feature any foil elements. It just has Eevee running along some cherry blossoms on the top and official logos on the bottom. No grip tape is needed due to the design. People get it with a certificate of authenticity, its trucks, and its wheels.

Scarlet & Violet: Journey Together, the new Pokemon Trading Card Game expansion set, focuses on the return of specific trainers’ Pokemon and their particular game strategies. Looking to find the best cards of the set? We’re here as always to help break it down.

We see a couple of entries in our favorite category, “legendaries you can get as uncommons,” in Virizion, Articuno and Regice. Pulling a cool creature more times in a pack is just good, and though these three lack the sort of powerful attacks you’d want for a constructed deck, they each have some really handy moves for a limited format. Seeing as we’d love to see more attention to that format in the Pokemon TCG, it’s great that they’re at a rarity that means they’ll get pulled in that context more often!

From a visuals perspective, we love to see different art styles and approaches on even the normal cards, and there’s a ton of that to appreciate in Journey Together. We especially like the Metapod, Karrablast, Cubone, Kecleon, Ludicolo and Iono’s Voltorb. The Illustrator Rares are always great, but we like that there’s something interesting to look at without cracking a ton of packs just to get one.

The new Meowscarada line is intriguing, as it uses all-colorless attacks. The final evolution in particular, though, is what makes it worth a look. Its power lets it swap into the active spot whenever it wants, and then slap an opponent’s ex Pokemon for 180 damage with just two energy.

There’s also an effort to make burn more of a viable strategy. Magmortar increases your burn damage by 30, while Volcanion ex makes for a strong attacker but also can use its power to burn the opponent every turn it’s out in front. Finally, though its Stage 2 status makes it unlikely to see play, Ludicolo uses its Vibrant Dance ability to give all your creatures 40 more HP, and that’s a fun idea.

The most meta-relevant Journey Together cards 262t44

The set’s Tapu Koko ex makes for an effective sweeper. Its Linked Lightning attack deals a base 60 plus 20 for each of your benched creatures, and it does it at just two energy, meaning you can get that 160 up and running fairly quickly. The flexible Brock’s Scouting er lets you pull either two Basics or one evolution from your deck. A new special energy card shows up, too, and it’s a versatile one. Spiky Energy provides just one colorless, but it also deals 20 recoil damage to the opponent if it attacks you. Handy!

Alcremie ex might be a good bench utility despite its evolved status, as its ability can heal anything for 30 once a turn. Toedscruel is similarly intriguing, as it lowers all your retreat costs by two and can effectively let you swap around your Pokemon at will. A beneficiary of that strategy could be Magearna? If you move it into the active spot, place an energy on another creature and then move it back out to attack, you can use its ability to get 90 HP healing along the way.

There’s a decent pool of options for cutest cards in this set, a welcome change from the last few expansions. It’s not hard to make Sprigatito cute, but the one here lounging in its bed certainly qualifies. Togedemaru is also an easy mark. The sleeping Komala is a friend, and so is Skwovet chowing down. In of Illustrator Rares, Lillie’s Ribombee captures a moment well, and Furret is just a good little bud.

Trainer’s Pokemon have long been a feature of the Pokemon Trading Card Game, tracing back to the first generation’s Gym Heroes expansion. Still, it’s been a while since we’ve seen them in quite this number! Journey Together is built around four trainers from recent generations: N, Iono, Lillie and Hop.

Iono, the Paldea gym leader, has previously been the reason for a jump in demand for Pokemon TCG releases, so her inclusion here makes sense. Her iconic partner, Bellibolt, gets a starring role as her ex with a big 230-damage attack. That said, it’s maybe better as a ing creature. Its ability lets you play as many energy to Iono’s Pokemon as you want, which is amazing, and its attack can only be used every second turn. But maybe it’s a finisher.

Weirdly, we think Iono’s Voltorb might be better unevolved? The Electrode has some normal moves and an explosion that takes it out and is a coin flip whether it takes the opponent with it. Voltorb, conversely, has an attack that increases in damage by 20 for every electric energy on your Iono’s Pokemon. Also, the art is just way cooler. It’s ed by a Kilowattrel that can discard an energy to draw up to six cards every turn, and a Stadium card, Levincia, that lets you retrieve those energy to your hand.

Hop, the companion character from Sword & Shield, may seem like a sort of boring choice given his cadre of creatures. But in practice, that’s sort of fun? The whole group is helped by effects and Trainer cards to make some otherwise-middling attacks a bit better. Hop’s Snorlax is key to the whole group, with an Extra Helpings ability that increases attack damage by 30. The Postwick stadium does the same thing, and though you can’t use multiple Extra Helpings effects at the same time, it can stack with Postwick. And his own Tool card, Hop’s Choice Band, once again increases damage by 30 while also decreasing energy cost by one.

Hop’s Zacian ex is his sweeper, with a one-energy attack that can do 30 to the active opponent and a bench target at the same time and a four-energy attack that again only works every two turns. His Corviknight can also deal damage to the active and bench simultaneously. And his Dubwool can move something to the active spot when it’s played.

Lillie’s Journey Together Pokemon largely seem built to bring back the idea of Fairy Pokemon to the TCG without, you know, actually bringing them back. Lillie’s Clefairy gives all Dragons a Psychic weakness, restoring the role of Fairy type as the foil to that dominant opposition. Well, it was dominant in the video games? With its double energy type requirements, dragons haven’t exactly been in charge of the card game recently, especially without Double Dragon Energy. She also gets the benefit of Lillie’s Pearl, a Tool card that makes her Pokemon pay out one fewer Prize card.

Lillie’s Ribombee lets you lure out basics from the opponent’s hand, which combos well with Clefairy’s attack: Full Moon Rondo, which does 20 extra damage for each creature on both benches. But truly, that attack is basically the only usable one in the bunch! So it’d be hard to build a deck around just it.

The star of the Journey Together collection clearly is N, though. The Black & White character ties Hop for the most representation in the set with 13 distinct cards, and they’re all across the energy and power spectrum. His iconic partner, Zoroark, is here, though it really could use some help. Its Ability lets you discard a card to draw two every turn, and its two-energy Night Joker attack lets you use a benched N’s Pokemon’s attack. That attack could be Virtuous Flame, a 170-damage move from Reshiram that otherwise requires four energy of two additional types. Or Powerful Rage, its other move, that attacks for double its current damage.

It could also be an attack from N’s Darmanitan, which can use Back Draft and deal 30 damage for each energy in the opponent’s discard pile. That could be effective later in the game? And since that attack in particular is colorless, it solves a bit of N’s energy problem: you need to build around Zoroark and feed it darkness energy, but that likely means not running the types for Reshiram to attack on its own, so there are going to need to be times when someone else can attack in a pinch.

In of Trainers, N has two helpful ones. N’s Castle is a Stadium that negates his retreat costs, and Item card N’s PP Up lets you play an extra energy from the discard pile. He also has a smattering of other Pokemon that don’t synergize particularly well, like Joltik and Purrloin and Klinklang.

While more Trainer’s Pokemon are on the horizon in sets, these are likely the only ones for these specific trainers anytime soon, so it’s highly doable to judge whether they’ll be strong enough to play as a group. In our estimation, that’s… basically everyone but Lillie. Sorry, Lillie? There’s not a lot of room for deck-building creativity, as the other three sort of have one viable configuration and strategy, but still.

The Pokemon Company International announced the new Pokemon TCG Pocket expansion is called Shining Revelry, and it will add new cards of shiny Pokemon. That will debut on March 27, 2025. The “packaging” for the new set also features the shiny versions of characters like Charizard, Lucario, Beedrill, Pachirisu, and Wugtrio. 

All of the new Pokemon, shiny or not, in Shining Revelry are ones you can find in the Pokemon Scarletand Violet Paldea region. This explains the appearances of characters like shiny Wiglett, shiny Wugtrio, and shiny Varoom. Other confirmed characters from the region include Tatsugiri, Sprigatito, and an Iono er Trainer card. Ones not limited to that one location include Charizard, Lucario, Beedrill, Pachirisu, Pinsir, and a Red er Trainer card. 

In addition, there will be a new event appearing the day after the new expansion appears in the game. The Pokemon TCG Pocket ex Starter Deck Missions begin on March 28, 2025. These will involve the prebuilt decks we can access and use in-game. They’ll be available for about a month until April 27, 2025, and there will be different rewards for taking part.

The last expansion was Triumphant Light, and it debuted in February 2025.

A Pokemon Go event will be held as part of the Expo 2025 that will be held in the Japanese city of Osaka, Kansai. The Expo 2025 will he beld between April 13 and October 13, 2025. [Thanks, Game Watch!]

Various iconic Pokemon will appear at the Expo 2025, including Pikachu, Snorlax, Meowth, and the Unown corresponding to the letters E, X, P, and O. Additionally, various 3D photo spots will be available at the venue, and Expo 2025 attendants will be able to take commemorative photos with a variety of Pokemon using the GO Snapshot of Pokemon Go. These photo spots will also double as PokeStops.

Pokemon Go keeps going strong and Niantic recently announced that the March 2025 Community Day will focus around Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Fire type starter Fuecoco. The event will bring the pokemon’s shiny form to the mobile game with an increase rate of appearing, and will be held on March 8, 2025. Additionally, Black Kyurem and White Kyurem will appear in the game during the Global Unova tour between March 1-2, 2025.

Pokemon Go is readily available on Android and Apple iOS mobile devices. The game will be featured at the Expo 2025 and will be held between April 13 and October 13, 2025.

The Pokemon Company International announced that there are two more Pokemon Home shiny Pokemon giveaways, and this time we can earn Keldeo and Meltan. Both are available to collect as of February 12, 2025. You need to finish the Pokemon Sword or Shield Pokedex for Galar to get Keldeo. Meanwhile, Meltan is tied to Kanto Pokedex completion for either Let’s Go, Pikachu or Eevee.

Both the shiny Keldeo and Meltan will arrive at level 50 if you manage to earn them. The Keldeo will know Aqua Tail, Double Kick, Quick Guard, and Sacred Sword. Meanwhile, the Meltan will arrive with a moveset that includes Acid Armor, Flash Cannon, Headbutt, and Thunder Wave.

This is the third Pokemon Home Shiny Pokemon giveaway event tied to game completion. The first giveaway started in October 2024. That stars a Shiny Meloetta. It requires you to play Pokemon Scarlet or Violet and potentially its DLC to complete the Paldea, Blueberry, and Kitakami Pokedexes. If you do all that, it ends up being sent to your collection in the app. 

The second giveaway happened more recently. In January 2025, Shiny Enamorus and Manaphy appeared in the app. To get Manaphy, you need to complete the Pokedex in either Pokemon Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl. Meanwhile, that Enamorus is tied to the Hisuian Pokedex in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. 

Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Let’s Go, Eevee, as well as Pokemon Sword and Shield, are available on the Nintendo Switch. Pokemon Home is available on the Switch and mobile devices now, and the shiny Keldeo and Meltan promotions are live in that app.

The Pokemon Company International announced a free gift of Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket Trade Tokens for all players. This comes after the company announced there would be changes made to the trading feature following negative from those who attempted to use it.

Currently, in Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket a player needs to acquire Trade Tokens if they want to start trading valid cards with people set as friends. However, you need between 25 and 1,500 of these items to trade depending on the rarity of the card, and both people participating in the swap need that amount. The primary means of getting them is to exchange duplicates of cards you collected and selecting Trade Tokens as the item you want from them. 

On January 31, 2025, The Pokemon Company International first addressed about the Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket Trade Tokens and system. It itted that the choices meant people weren’t able to “casually enjoy the feature.” This gift of 1,000 Trade Tokens is designed to make it easier for people to swap cards in the meantime. That original announcement also noted that eventually events will give away the item to make things easier for folks.

In the meantime, a number of events are running. One is a Space-Time Smackdown Emblem Event tied to collecting new cards from the latest expansion pack. That runs until February 24, 2025. There is also a Cresselia ex Drop Event with promo cards that can be earned through Solo Battles.

There will be a whole collection of Pokemon jerseys and clothing sold as part of a tie-in between The Pokemon Company International and Atlanta, Georgia’s Overtime Elite basketball league. Things will start with Pokemon Playoffs on February 18, 2025. Then, after that, the clothing will be sold at the official Overtime storefront online on February 27, 2025. 

The event will take place at the OTE Arena at 230 17th Street in Atlanta, Georgia. The official site hasn’t updated yet with ticket sales. However, the announcement mentioned the jerseys, special referee uniforms, and themed LEDs. An official image already shows how each team’s uniform will look and confirmed Pokemon paired up with them.

Here’s the list of Overtime Elite basketball teams paired with the Pokemon that will appear on their jerseys for this crossover event.

The Overtime Elite Pokemon Playoffs will be held on February 18, 2025 and mark the debut of the new basketball jerseys, and those will be sold alongside other clothing at the Overtime store on February 27, 2025.

In Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket, there will sometimes be promotional events to get certain cards, and the latest one is a Cresselia ex Drop Event. How it works is until February 16, 2025, taking part in Solo Battles can net you a chance at getting the featured card.

So here’s how it works. You need to play through the tutorial until you can access the Solo Battle function in Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket. Once you do, you will find some battles offer the option to win a Promo Pack A Series Vol 4. While it says it is a pack, it isn’t like a typical one in the game. You’ll only get one random card out of it. 

The Cresselia ex card is one of the options shown in the Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket Solo Battle Drop Event. Other highlighted ones include Electivire, Misdreavus, Skarmory, and Turtwig. All of these cards feature a special promo insignia in the bottom right corner of the character art. If you miss one during the event, these can be found randomly in the Space-Time Smackdown expansion booster packs in-game. 

Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket is available on mobile devices, and the Cresselia ex Drop Event ends on February 16, 2025.
