The final episode of Witchy Precure Mirai Days will air on March 29, 2025. As a commemoration, all eleven episodes will be free to watch on Abema. The series is streaming on Crunchyroll outside Japan.

Aside from the episodes appearing on Abema for free about a week after the show ends, you’ll also be able to marathon the entire series before the last episode. From 7:00 PM JST of March 29, 2025, Abema will air all eleven episodes at once. That would convert to 3:00 AM PDT, or 6:00 AM EDT. The marathon will last until 11:15 PM, which is when the final episode will air.

Witchy Precure Mirai Days started airing from January 11, 2025 in ABC TV and TV Asahi’s late night block. As one can imagine from that time slot, this is a Pretty Cure anime that’s more geared towards adults. It’s a spin-off sequel to Mahou Tsukai Pretty Cure! and features the characters from that series as grown-ups. The plot of Mirai Days focuses on the girls reuniting again, and having to deal with both their past and future as magical girls.

Witchy Precure ~Mirai Days~ will end on March 29, 2025. Abema will stream it on that date, as well as all previous eleven episodes leading up to the finale. The service is only available for those in Japan, though.

After about a year, those outside of Japan can finally stream the Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos The Movie on Netflix. You’ll be able to watch it from August 22, 2024.

Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos The Movie is a two-parter movie that concludes the Sailor Moon series. It covers the Shadow Galactica arc and originally appeared in early Summer 2023 in Japan. Back when it first appeared, it was part of the 30th anniversary of the Sailor Moon franchise. In its native Japan, it had an average rating of about 3.85 out of 5.0, based on 139 reviews. It was only a modest success in of the box office.

As one can see from the art style, the movies are part of the Sailor Moon Crystal continuum. It is a direct sequel to the Sailor Moon Eternal film, which teased the Shadow Galactica arc at the end of it. Sailor Moon Crystal not only has a different art style and cast from the original 1990’s anime, but it is also a more faithful adaptation of the manga. When the original Sailor Moon anime got to the Shadow Galactica arc, there were quite a few changes. For example, characters like Sailor Phi and Chi were absent.

Toei Animation shared a new promotional video for the Sailor Moon Cosmos movie duology, and it shows the final scene of the movie with Usagi. Spoilers ahead for those who are not familiar with the Sailor Moon series. The scene in question focuses on Usagi and Mamoru’s wedding in Sailor Moon Cosmos. The video is titled "Happy Marriage Song PV," and it features all the Sailor Senshi alongside Usagi and Mamoru singing the song. Additionally, a new attendance bonus gift has been revealed. Toei Animation revealed on June 2023 the creditless version of “Moonlight Densetsu.” That is the opening theme song for the first movie in the duology and a recurring Sailor Moon theme.

Sailor Moon Cosmos is the final chapter of the Sailor Moon reboot anime series, and it focuses on the Shadow Galactica Arc. The movie is divided in two parts, with the first one appearing in Japan on June 9, 2023 and the second one on June 30, 2023.

Aside from the Sailor Senshi, the three of Sailor Starlights appear. As civilians, they’re idols. But as Sailor Starlights, they’re come to Earth to look for Princess Kakyuu. Unlike the 90s anime, Sailor Starlights will remain biologically female even when they’re in their civilian personas. The three of them play a prominent role as the Sailor Senshi’s allies, which is likely why they have such a major appearance in the opening.

This cover of “Moonlight Densetsu” is sang by the five main Sailor Senshi. The voice cast would be Kotono Mitsuishi (Usagi), Rina Sato (Rei), Ami Koshimizu (Makoto), Shizuka Ito (Minako), and Hisako Kanemoto (Ami). “Moonlight Densetsu” was the opening for the 90s adaptation of Sailor Moon, and the usage of it in the movie is an homage to the anime. There are also certain shots that reference the show, such as in the one of the Inner Senshi turning around together.

The first half of Sailor Moon Cosmos is airing in theaters in Japan. The second half will start airing from June 30, 2023.

The final two Sailor Moon Cosmos movies will adapt the Stars arc of the original manga, and bring an end to the Sailor Moon Crystal reboot series, which started in 2015. Sailor Moon Crystal and its sequel movies follow the plot of the manga more faithfully, which means that some characters will make their anime debut in the movie.

Recently, nine new voice actors for the movie were revealed. They will be voicing the Shadow Galactica antagonist team in Sailor Moon Cosmos.

We now know the entire cast of voice actors for Shadow Galactica in the Sailor Moon Cosmos movies. For reference, Shadow Galactica is the antagonistic group of the Stars arc. All of the characters above have the word “Sailor” before their title, much like how the Sailor Senshi do.

In the lore of Sailor Moon, Sailor Galaxia created Shadow Galactica, which is an empire that aims to collect Sailor Crystals. Other Sailor Guardians ed her as she went around destroying worlds for Sailor Crystals. Several of the above characters, such as Sailors Phi and Chi, were not in the 90s anime. So the Sailor Moon Cosmos will be the animated debuts of these Shadow Galactica .

Part 1 of Sailor Moon Cosmos will debut on June 9, 2023, and the second part will debut on June 30, 2023.

Netflix announced the official release date for the anime adaptation of Ooku: The Inner Chambers will be June 29, 2023. This anime will present an alternative version of feudal Japan with gender reversal. Women take the leading roles in politics and society. A trailer teasing the anime's plot, along with a piece of key art, was also revealed.

Ooku: The Inner Chambers presents an alternate retelling of the Tokugawa shogunate of Japan. Men are scarce due to an unknown disease. Moreover, the story focuses on the matriarchal society that ruled throughout five shogun generations. Studio DEEN is in charge of this anime adaptation, with Noriyuki Abe directing it.

This isn’t the first time the Ooku manga has been adapted. Back in 2010, a live-action movie was released covering the first few arcs. Two other television drama series were also released in 2012 and 2022, respectively. As for Netflix, this is the first new anime series ing the catalog after the launch of Yakitori: Soldiers of Misfortune in May 2023, along with the last season of Ultraman.

Ooku: The Inner Chambers anime will be available to stream worldwide on Netflix starting June 29, 2023. Viz Media handled the localization of the manga.

As opposed to the analytical and intellectual way that Sailor Mercury fights, Sailor Jupiter is much more power-oriented. Their voice actresses from the show will return to reprise their roles. The music that plays in the background is the familiar tune of the original Sailor Moon opening. Sailor Mercury asks if you’ve properly previewed for your classes, whereas Sailor Jupiter claims that everyone who likes plants is a good person. The short trailer highlights Ami’s more aggressive side, as well as how Makoto is actually very girly under her rough exterior.

As a reminder, Hisako Kanemoto voices Sailor Mercury, or Ami Mizuno, in Crystal. She also previously voiced Erina Nakiri in Food Wars, as well as Lucky Chloe in Tekken 7. Meanwhile, Ami Koshimizu voices Sailor Jupiter, or Makoto Kino. Koshimizu’s previous roles include Kallen from Code Geass and Beidou in Genshin Impact.

The streaming service began airing a new video preview for the anime series. The clip shows off the Junji Ito anime opening sequence, a montage of clips from the series, and the names of some key staff.

The Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre anime opening is set to the song "Paranoid" by Madkid. Madkid's music also appeared in the Rising of the Shield Hero adaptation.

First announced in June 2022, Junji Ito Maniac is an anthology-style anime series that will adapt twenty stories from Ito's oeuvre for the first time. The stories are drawn from his manga volumes like Tomie, Soichi, and The Hanging Balloons. Shinobu Tagashira, who directed Junji Ito: "Collection" (another anime anthology), will Direct Maniac. Collection's scriptwriter Kaoru Sawada will also write the scripts. Composer Yuki Hayashi will provide the music, with sound direction by Hozumi Goda. Like Collection, the Maniac series is being animated by Studio DEEN. DEEN also produced anime series like Hozuki's Coolheadedness, and Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju.

The returning staff include Director Osamu Yamasaki, Animation Character Designer Atsuko Nakajima, and Composer Kou Otani. Teased in July, the OVA will feature one new character, Sakai Hyogo, who will be portrayed by Aoi Shouta. Voice actors from previous Hakuoki anime releases will be reprising their roles.

The opening theme song "Setsuna no Kodou" will be performed by Aiko Yoshioka. "Kenran -I'll never forget you-," the ending theme, will be performed by Maon Kurosaki. The latter previously provided the opening track for the first season of the Hakuoki anime.

Based on an otome video game series by Idea Factory, Hakuoki tells the story of Chizuru Yukimura, a girl travelling to Kyoto disguised a man to search for her missing father. Instead, she stumbles on a battle between the Shinsengumi and a horde of vampire-like creatures called the Furies.

Just ahead of its theater debut, Toei revealed a new Sailor Moon Eternal trailer. The series’ official YouTube channel ed the video, which highlights the second half of the two-part film. Part one will begin showing in theaters on January 8, 2021, while part two will release on February 11, 2021.

Marking the 25th year since the franchise last premiered on the big screen in Japan, the new film is a grand return with all Super versions of the Sailor Scouts included. Additionally, the movie will feature Pegasus, the Dead Moon Circus, and Queen Nehelenia. Based on the “Dream” arc of the series’ manga, the film will also serve as a direct continuation of the Sailor Moon Crystal anime series. Sailor Moon Eternal was supposed to debut in theaters back in September 2020. However, Toei delayed its release due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At that time, NHK also held a poll revealing Japan’s favorite Sailor Moon characters. Plus, new Sailor Moon jewelry is on the market, too, with chokers and earrings for each of your favorite scouts.

Sailor Moon Eternal part one will play in theaters from January 8, 2021. Part two will release on February 11, 2021.

Rick and Morty fans might be hungry for more of the current fourth season of the show, but Pocket Mortys just isn't enough. Thankfully, Adult Swim is still producing content to tide the hordes over until then. The channel has debuted Samurai & Shogun, a brief animated short starring Rick and Morty in a battle reminiscent of classic samurai manga Lone Wolf and Cub. The short was ed to Youtube on March 28, 2020 and produced by Japanese anime Studio DEEN. Studio DEEN animated such works as Rurouni Kenshin: Trust and Betrayal, the first anime adaptation of Fate/Stay Night, and the critically acclaimed Descending Stories: Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu. It also produced anime adaptations of the Hakuoki visual novel franchise. The short is also notable for being entirely in Japanese, featuring Keisuke Chiba and Youhei Tadano, the voice actors who play Morty and Rick in the Japanese dub of the TV show.

As for the main Rick and Morty program itself, the fourth season debuted on Adult Swim in November 2019. It ran for five episodes before taking a mid-season break. Reports suggest that the sixth episode, which does not have a premiere date, may be delayed due to the impact of the COVID-19 coronavirus on production.

Rick and Morty airs on Adult Swim. It is available for streaming in the US on Hulu and HBO Max, and Netflix internationally.
