Capcom announced that it will add both free and paid items based on Street Fighter 6 to Monster Hunter Wilds, with the update and DLC arriving on May 28, 2025. This means a Chun-Li costume for Alma to buy, Akuma layered armor for our hunters, and the ability to dress our Palicos as Blanka-chan with layered armor. A new trailer highlighted all of these in action.

This is actually the second time Akuma appeared as layered armor in an entry. It was in Monster Hunter Rise as an Event Quest reward back in August 2021. This version of the armor features special actions. 

As for the paid DLC, a few items came up. Alma will get both Chun-Li and Cammy costumes. Stickers featuring characters like Ryu, Akuma, Juri, Cammy, and Blanka-chan will appear. Gestures with attack properties that recreate the Hadoken, Shoryuken, and Tatsumaki Senpu-Kyaku will come up. There will also be a Blanka-chan Doll pendant for our equipment. Prices aren't available for this yet. However, the description on the YouTube trailer noted these are all sold piecemeal and not in a pack.

This is the first major crossover for Monster Hunter Wilds. However, past games featured a number of them. In Monster Hunter Rise, there were tie-ins with titles like Mega Man, Okami, Sonic the Hedgehog, and the aforementioned Street Fighter collab.

Monster Hunter Wilds is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. Street Fighter 6 is on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC now, and it will come to the Switch 2 on June 13, 2025. The Street Fighter 6 Monster Hunter Wilds free crossover update and paid DLC will debut on May 28, 2025.

There are more game makeup collections than you’d expect. We’ve seen Kirby lip balms, Kingdom Hearts perfumes, and Persona 5 items. Now Game Beauty launched a Street Fighter 6 collection consisting of eyeshadows, lipsticks, blush, and highlighters. All of the items are undeniably high quality, from what I’ve seen, and the color range is great and seems like it could suit a number of styles. They also seem like they properly connect to character color schemes. However, an important thing to also keep in mind that some of the items might be brighter or more vibrant than you’re used to, making them possibly a bit more difficult to style. 

I noticed two overarching principals of this collection. One is that it features a wide array of very bold and vibrant colors. This doesn’t mean that there aren’t possibilities to go with more subtle looks. With different eyeshadow, blush, lipstick, and hi-lite combinations, it absolutely is and I’ll show one of them in a photo below. But the emphasis is on statement pieces. 

The other is that everything included in the Game Beauty Street Fighter 6 makeup line is a really high quality product. The lipsticks aren’t “sticky,” the color for them goes on smoothly and vibrantly with a single swipe, and they last for hours. The blush balms go on just as smoothly and are easy to blend. (I imagine you could even lightly touch one of them to your lips for lighter color than a lipstick.) The same goes for the hi-lite balms. It’s easy to apply them, blend them, and have them look natural. As for the eyeshadows, they go on easily, blend well together, consist of colors that match well together if you like to layer them, and also remove without too much trouble. I was especially worried about getting the more glittery Chromatic Contender Chameleon ones off, but nope! No issue.

In fact, I would say the Chromatic Contender Chameleon and Prismatic Pugilist Makeup Palette eyeshadows are my favorite pieces in the collection. The Chromatic Contender Chameleon colors consist of basically holographic, glittery eyeshadow powders based on six characters. Therese involve a blue one for Luke, a peach one for Jamie, a teal one for Guile, a green one for Blanka, a brown one for Dhalsim, and a gold one for Dee Jay. However, actually mentioning the colors may not be the best way to describe them. That’s because the nature of them mean that they’re far more about imparting this incredible glitter and shine that changes effects and colors depending on how the light hits it. While it does impart color, it’s more about the glitter of it all. I like to put that at the very top of my lid, under the eyebrow, to really catch the effect when paired with colors from the Prismatic Pugilist Makeup Palette.

As for that Prismatic Pugilist Makeup Palette, it’s the most versatile item in the Game Beauty Street Fighter 6 collection. It features 18 eyeshadows and pressed pigments in an array of reds, oranges, yellows, blues, greens, and silvers. And honestly? I sort of feel like it’s designed for layering and going with dual tones. The Plunderer and Viator reds are great, red accents to the pink Ninjastar Pop and Pankration. Zitra Zitra and Kumadori go so well together. I like to blend The Great Sunlight into Mr. Top Player. Not to mention the darker blue Taking Aim and Sharpened Sonic pair so perfectly with both Diosa Del Sol and OverTrip. The fact that we also do have matte colors paired with more metallic and shiny shadows also makes for a great set. 

The Hue-ligan Blush and Hi-Lite Hitter highlighters are also so nice. I was a little concerned about the Chun-Li blue highlighter, since the Manon one is such a natural shade of pink. However, once blended it is such a pale blue that it almost ends up offering more of a silver hue as an accent. I shouldn’t have worried! Meanwhile, the Manon option is one of those colors that more naturally adapts to a skin tone due to its shade, and it is one of the more subtle and natural pieces that I referenced earlier. 

With the Hue-Ligan Blush, we start to get into the one “vibrancy” issue with the Street Fighter 6 Game Beauty line. Some of these pieces can be quite bold! Of the four here, the Ken, JP, Lily, and Cammy ones are all varying shades of red and pink. Ken’s is a dark crimson. JP’s is a more standard red. Lily’s is a reddish pink, that almost seems to have a hint of orange to it. Meanwhile, Cammy’s sometimes feels like it is more magenta. With my skin tone, I really only felt like the Lily and JP ones were the only two that worked. With blending, you can make anything possible of course. But these are some of the items in the collection where I feel like a sample would be more helpful.

But the only item in the Street Fighter 6 Game Beauty collection I could see someone maybe having trouble working with are the Vibrant Viator lipsticks. This is because the brightness of the shades mean if you don’t usually wear such vivid or strong colors, they might not work out for you. Ryu’s is a red so dark it almost seems brown. (I didn’t get to sample it, as mine arrived broken.) Juri’s is such a vibrant shade of fucshia that it’s almost garish. (Which, again suits the character a bit.) Kimberly’s pink is slightly less bright, but still feels energetic. Marisa’s pink is more on the darker side. The E. Honda and Zangief lipsticks are the two red ones, and they feel more like traditional red lipsticks. 

So now, for the two photos. For each one, I pulled my hair back with a headband so my face and the makeup is as visible as possible. In the one on the left, I’m wearing the Lily Hue-Ligan blush, the Manon Hi-Lite Hitter highlighter, the Kimberly lipstick, and only the All Right eyeshadow blended in. As you can see, it ends up being a very natural, almost no-makeup look. For the one on the right, I have the The Plunderer eyeshadow from the palette and the Jamie Chromatic Contender Chameleon eyeshadow layered together. I’m wearing the Zangief lipstick with the JP plush. The Chun-Li highlight is applied slightly to my nose and corners of my eyes, but isn’t really visible due to the lighting and blending.

I’m just generally extraordinarily pleased with the Game Beauty Street Fighter 6 collection, even if I feel some items are colors I wouldn’t or couldn’t use due to personal preferences and colors. The thing about them is that they’re all bright, vivid, and true to characters each one represents! They’re high quality! There’s a sort of explosive nature to some of them that really makes sure they stand out. However, the range does mean that even if that isn’t your thing, you might find something you like.

The Game Beauty Street Fighter 6 collection is available now. The game is available on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, with a Switch 2 version launching on June 5, 2025.

Capcom has confirmed the release date for Elena, the fourth and last Year 2 DLC character for Street Fighter 6. Players of the fighting game will be able to play as her on June 5, 2025.

Elena made her debut in the 1997 entry Street Fighter III: New Generation. The Kenyan Capoeira master also subsequently appeared in Ultra Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter x Tekken. However, she was completely missing in Street Fighter V's playable roster. This means she will make her return after being absent for a while.

The second year of Street Fighter 6's post-release content additions will conclude with Elena. Capcom started the year by releasing the resurrected dictator M. Bison in June 2024. It then brought in SNK guest characters Terry Bogard in September 2024 and Mai Shiranui in February 2025.

Elena will be available as a DLC character in the console and PC releases of Street Fighter 6 on June 5, 2025. Capcom will also release Street Fighter 6: Years 1-2 Fighters Edition, which includes all eight DLC characters known so far, for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC on the same day.

During the Nintendo Treehouse: Live Switch 2 Day 2 showcase, Street Fighter 6 came up, and that also offered an opportunity to see the three new amiibo and multiple amiibo cards tied to it. Jamie, Kimberly, and Luke all showed up and were shown alongside the Super Smash Bros Ultimate Ryu and Ken ones to provide a sense of scale and context. 

Compared to Ken and Ryu, the Jamie, Kimberly, and Luke Street Fighter 6 amiibo for the Switch 2 game are all larger. It appears that they are at least an inch taller each, if not larger. The poses are also more dynamic. All three characters are performing some of their attacks. For example, it almost seems like Luke is performing Flash Knuckle in his, while Jamie seems to be in the midst of Full Moon Kick. It definitely looks like the Kimberly amiibo shows her Hisen Kick. There are also transparent effects on each figure, which highlight movement and seem to serve to help stabilize them on the bases. 

The segment during the Nintendo Treehouse: Live also confirmed these will act like past amiibo. You can save data and settings to them, then take them to a friend’s system and game to use your defaults when you fight. They also each unlock things like device wallpapers and music in the game, with each featuring unique ones. You can send friend requests with them.

As for the Street Fighter 6 amiibo cards for the Switch 2, the starter set appeared. Cards 2 through 22 could be seen somewhat on-stream. However, due to the way in which they were laid out, we could only get a clear look at the Luke one, which is number 2. These will also unlock cosmetic and customization items in game.

Capcom and Taito announced that they will add Mai Shiranui to Street Fighter 6: Type Arcade on March 13, 2025. Players of the game's arcade version will soon be able to use the SNK guest character on their preferred platform. As that will be in a cabinet, there will be no additional fee or need to buy DLC to use the crossover character.

The arcade version, which is separately handled by Taito, usually has a staggered update pace from the original fighting game releases that Capcom is managing on consoles and PC. As an example, the other SNK guest character Terry Bogard appeared in Street Fighter 6: Type Arcade on October 24, 2024, which is exactly a month after he debuted on the console and PC releases on September 24, 2024. Mai will be a similar case, as she has been available on the original Street Fighter 6 releases since February 5, 2025.

The difference will lie in the availabilities in the character selection menu. In the console and PC releases, players have to purchase DLC to unlock the post-launch characters. In this arcade port, Capcom and Taito are making all extra characters available to choose without any additional charges besides the credits required for a gameplay session.

The addition of Mai Shiranui will not be the only new thing in this arcade update. Capcom and Taito will also add High Master, Grand Master, and Ultimate Master as new achievable ranks in the Master League.

In addition, people who play the game on both arcades and consoles (or PC) can link both of their s. If they have acquired Master League titles and DX character colors in the console/PC version of Street Fighter 6, they can also use those in their linked for Type Arcade.

Mai Shiranui will appear in Street Fighter 6: Type Arcade on March 13, 2025. The character is readily available via DLC in the PC and console releases of Street Fighter 6, the latter of which appear on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series X.

Suzuki and Capcom are collaborating to make an actual motorcycle inspired by Juri in Street Fighter 6. The bike will appear during the Capcom Cup 11 and Street Fighter League World Championship 2024 events which will be held between March 5-9, 20255 in Japan.

The Street Fighter 6 collaboration motorcycle is called GSX-8R Tuned by Juri, and it uses the GSX-8R model as its base. The bike won’t be available on sale, and is only for display. The special model features Juri's iconic spider pattern as well as her color scheme to create an aggressive look. Additionally, the Feng Shui Engine that Juri uses on her left eye is also on display on the bike's engine.

The bike will be on display at the Suzuki booth during the aforementioned Capcom Cup 11 event, and a photo booth will be set up for attendants to take pictures alongside the motorcycle. Some of the people attending the Suzuki booth can also opt-in to receive a tote bag and clear file folder with an illustration of Juri on the motorcycle. The GSX-8R Tuned by Juri model will also appear at a special exhibit in a motorcycle show in Osaka held on March 21, 2025, which will also appear in Tokyo and Nagoya afterwards.

Capcom has released a new Street Fighter 6 Fighting that primarily adds crossover content from the Ace Attorney series. The new has the official title "Turnabout Gala," and it is the featured for the fighting game in March 2025.

One of the highlights of this Fighting is the avatar gear set, which will let players turn their avatars to the Steel Samurai, one of the Ace Attorney series' in-universe mascots. It also includes title bars and stickers that feature the series' recurring characters like Phoenix Wright, Maya Fey, Miles Edgeworth, and the Judge.

The Music segment of the Fighting features the Pursuit tracks from the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney trilogy entries, which are readily playable via compilation releases on consoles, PCs, and mobile devices. The three tracks are "Pursuit - Corner the Culprit" from the first entry, "Pursuit - Confront the Culprit" from the second title Justice for All, and "Pursuit - Catch the Culprit" from the trilogy's climactic entry Trials and Tribulations.

The Classic Game slot is the only segment that does not feature Ace Attorney, as there are no arcade games based on the franchise. Capcom has instead added Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness, the 2D mecha fighting game that appeared first in arcades worldwide in 1995 and later ported to Sega Saturn and Sony PlayStation in Japan in 1997.

The Ace Attorney series crossover content is available on Street Fighter 6, which is playable worldwide on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, and PC.

Game Beauty announced it will release an array of Street Fighter 6 makeup as part of its new cosmetics collection. There will be items like lipsticks inspired by different characters. Items will be sold individually and in bundles. Pre-orders are live now via the official storefront, and they will ship out in the middle of March 2025.

Here’s a full list of all of the cosmetics available individually in the Street Fighter 6 Game Beauty makeup line. Note that not every character has an item in each category tied to them. So while there’s a Chun-Li highlighter, there’s no lipstick tied to her, and Juri only inspired a lipstick. DLC characters like M. Bison and Mai Shiranui aren’t represented. There are four types of bundles available, though one simply puts a certain set in a gift box. For $64, you can get all six Chromatic Contender Chameleon eyeshadows, all six Vibrant Viator Lipsticks, or the four Hue-Ligan Blush balms with two Hi-Lite Hitter Highlighter sticks. You can also pay $236 for the full collection of cosmetics, which has the option of coming in a special box.

While the cosmetics company put “game” in its name, Game Beauty doesn’t just offer makeup collections based on them. For example, one of the 2024 ones was based on on the anime and manga series Attack on Titan. Those are still available to purchase now. It also sold Persona 5 Royal items, which were on sale over Valentine’s Day 2024.

The Game Beauty Street Fighter 6 makeup will launch in March 2025. The game itself is available for the PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X.

Plushes of Ryu and Chun-Li using their designs from Street Fighter 6 have appeared in the crane games at Sega Plaza. As they only started appearing on February 14, 2025, some stores may not stock them until a later date.

Each plush stands at around 21 x 14 x 31 cm, meaning they’re on the smaller size. As mentioned earlier, the plushes use the Street Fighter 6 designs for both Ryu and Chun-Li. So Ryu has facial hair and isn’t wearing a shirt, whereas Chun-Li’s clothes and eye shape are somewhat different from her previous incarnations.

Like other Sega Plaza prizes, there’s no guaranteed price on these plushes, as you need to play for them in the crane games. If you mess up too many times trying to get them, the store may help you. But when the employee steps in differs from person to person.

Street Fighter 6 came out in 2023, and was wildly popular among critics and fans at launch. Earlier this month, Capcom announced that it sold over 1 million copies in Japan as of December 20, 2024. When including sales from other regions, the game sold over 3 million as of January 2024.

Street Fighter 6 is available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC.

Capcom announced that it has sold over 1 million copies of Street Fighter 6 in Japan alone as of December 20, 2024. The company also launched numerous campaigns to celebrate the sales milestone. The celebrations range from merchandise sweepstakes to an interview with a former sumo wrestler.

The merchandise sweepstakes run until February 21, 2025, and it involves the social media X which is still widely used in Japan. People residing in the country can win a variety of prizes from T-shirts to a 23.8" gaming monitor.

Capcom also published a new interview video with Terunofuji Haruo, the former sumo wrestler who had attained the highest Yokozuna rank. It covered Street Fighter 6's close connections to sumo, such as the in-game appearance of Edmond Honda and the game's official tournaments being held at the Ryogoku Kokugikan National Sumo Arena.

For the record, the previous sales milestones Capcom announced for Street Fighter 6, such as 2 million in July 2023 and 3 million in January 2024, factored in purchases from all around the world. A week after the game just launched in June 2023, Famitsu recorded 21,192 PS5 game copies and 12,078 PS4 copies sold in Japan. Capcom's new announcement noted that the 1 million sales milestone combines physical and digital sales of Street Fighter 6 on all available platforms made exclusively inside Japan.

Street Fighter 6 is available worldwide on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, and PC. An arcade version titled Street Fighter 6: Type Arcade is also available in amusement centers.

Capcom released a new Street Fighter 6 Fighting a day ahead of the addition of the Mai Shiranui DLC, and it features a virtual cosplay option. The new , which is titled "Say Hello To Mai!," contains more Fatal Fury-inspired content that includes a set of avatar gear and emotes for players to dress up as one of SNK's most iconic fighting game characters.

The new Street Fighter 6 Fighting includes three music tracks from Fatal Fury Special that feature not only Mai Shiranui's stage, but also ones from Kim Kaphwan and Duck King's stages. In addition, the new sticker lineup features Rock Howard, B. Jenet, Tizoc, Terry Bogard, and Kaphwan's son Kim Dong Hwan, all of which are also slated to appear in SNK's release of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves in April 2025.

Capcom also added one of its arcade games with a closely related theme in the same . The game in question is the 1989 arcade action game Strider, which starred the ninja Strider Hiryu.

Capcom has also published a new official trailer showcasing the Fighting ' content on YouTube, which shows what it would be like to cosplay as Mai Shiranui in Street Fighter 6.

The Street Fighter 6 development team has been in a collaborative mood ever since it added Terry Bogard in September 2024. The Fighting es that appeared around his release added Fatal Fury content that includes avatar gear sets based on Andy Bogard, Joe Higashi, and Geese Howard. The collaboration will also go the other way, as SNK will add Ken and Chun-Li as DLC playable characters in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.

While Japan is celebrating a holiday, as it is Coming of Age Day, Capcom is still sharing a new Street Fighter 6 gameplay trailer for DLC character Mai Shiranui worldwide. The new footage offers our first look of what she’ll look like in a battle if we pick her as our fighter. It also means we get to see how some Fatal Fury and King of Fighters attacks she uses will look here. She’ll release on February 5, 2025.

Here’s the full Mai Shiranui Street Fighter 6 DLC gameplay trailer from YouTube.. It highlights her heading into the ring, then using both standard and special attacks. 

We already saw a quick teaser of what to expect from the SNK staple in Street Fighter 6. In December 2024, some footage appeared. It showed someone’s custom created character being invited to train with her and learn Shiranui techniques. We then got to watch as she fought some ninjas using them.

As a reminder, Mai Shiranui isn’t the only SNK character in the roster. Terry Bogard is also a part of the Year 2 alongside her. He first showed up in September 2024 in the main game, before also appearing in the arcade version. Others in this year’s included M. Bison earlier in 2024, and Elena later in 2025.

Street Fighter 6 is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the Mai Shiranui DLC is on the way on February 5, 2025. The game is also available in arcades.

Kaiyodo has opened pre-orders for its Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi figure of Luke from Capcom's Street Fighter 6. The action figure is also available to order worldwide except China via AmiAmi. The set will cost ¥12,100 (~$76.80), and Kaiyodo will release it in September 2025.

The new action figure will have an overall height of around 16 cm (~6.3 inches). The package will come with two attack effects. The owner will be able to attach the effects to Luke's arms or legs to simulate the powerful punches and kicks he can deliver in the actual fighting game, which is available on the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and arcades.

In addition, the parts list also shows that the package will include a KO face for the separately sold Revoltech action figure of the Street Fighter series protagonist Ryu. This approach is similar to the Chun-Li Revoltech action figure, which Kaiyodo had earlier revealed with a bonus KO face for Juri.

The Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi action figure of Luke from Street Fighter 6 will be available in September 2025. Kaiyodo will close the pre-order window on August 31, 2025.

Capcom has published a new Street Fighter 6 teaser trailer starring the SNK guest character Mai Shiranui. The company confirmed that it will add Mai to the roster in early 2025, which still falls within the previously announced 2024-2025 winter season.

The teaser trailer is available in two voiceover language versions. The one ed on the franchise's official YouTube channel features English voiceovers.

Capcom has also published another version of the trailer with Japanese voiceovers on its Japanese official YouTube channel. It confirms that Ami Koshimizu is reprising her Japanese voiceover role for the character, as with recent SNK titles like Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and The King of Fighters XV, as well as her prior guest appearances in Koei Tecmo's Dead or Alive fighting games.

Mai will appear as the third out of four new playable characters Capcom is adding to Street Fighter 6 in the game's second post-launch year. After starting with the series' staple ex-dictator character M. Bison in June 2024, Capcom followed through with another SNK guest character in Terry Bogard in September 2024. The Street Fighter 3 debutant Elena will complete the Year 2 roster in Spring 2025.

Street Fighter 6 is readily available worldwide on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Mai Shiranui will the roster in Capcom's newest fighting game to date in early 2025.

As part of a collaboration between the Kashihara municipal government and JR West, three stations within Kashihara will see station signs depicting the characters of Street Fighter 6. You’ll be able to catch these special signs at Kanahashi, Kaguyama, and Unebi stations.

In total, there will be eleven signs, all with different designs, and you’ll be able to locate them all at the aforementioned three stations. Each sign will have two characters. For example, the sign for Kanahashi shows Jamie and Luke while the sign for Kaguyama shows Ken and Ryu. Not only are the characters different, but the backgrounds are different as well. They will start putting up the signs from December 7, 2024.

This campaign is part of JR West and Kashihara’s efforts at conveying the charm of regions that are along a railway line. Lots of fans might come to check out the signs and take pictures. In turn, they might hang around Kashihara to sightsee or eat the local cuisine.

Street Fighter 6 is an incredibly popular fighting game, as it’s part of the long-running Street Fighter series. Within a month, Capcom sold over 2 million units of the game. In January 2024, it announced that sales for Street Fighter 6 sured 3 million units worldwide (including physical and digital copies). This might be why Capcom is part of this campaign as well.

The Street Fighter 6 street signs will begin appearing in stations from December 7, 2024. There is no information on when the stations will take them down.
