A second Dragon Ball Super collaboration is coming to PUBG Mobile starting on June 7, 2024, then ending on August 1, 2024. The event will bring new skins to the game, which can be obtained from the in-game store.

Krafton hasn’t detailed which Dragon Ball Super characters will be added to the game as part of the new event. However, a recent teaser trailer featured Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and the adult version of Son Gohan. Additionally, a recently revealed key art for the event referred to one of the new characters as “that finest scientist,” hinting to Bulma being one of the new characters featured. More information about the event will appear once it goes live on June 7, 2024.

The first Dragon Ball Super event appeared in PUBG Mobile on July 13, 2023, and it featured the aforementioned characters, as well as the villain Frieza. The event was originally announced on September 2022, to celebrate the release of the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie. PUBG Mobile has received various anime collaboration, with the most recent being a Spy x Family event appearing in April 2024.

The Spy x Family collaboration event for PUBG Mobile will take place from April 12 to May 13, 2024. More information for what this event will entail will come out later, but we know that you’ll be able to get skins of Loid and Yor. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

During the event, you’ll be able to pull from Spy x Family crates. Two of these prizes are the Loid and Yor skins. Again, as mentioned earlier, more details about prizes will appear later. Previous limited items that you could get in PUBG Mobile during these collaboration events included game modes, items, vehicles, maps, and voice lines.

There is a special site for the Spy x Family collaboration event in PUBG Mobile, which is also offering a giveaway. You can enter it by pressing down on the screen for about ten seconds. Prizes from this event include an Amazon gift card, a Spy x Family merchandise set, and an iPad Pro.

News of the Spy x Family event in PUBG Mobile first appeared in March 2024. At the time, there was absolutely no information on what it would entail. Spy x Family is an incredibly popular anime and manga series that started serialization in 2019. It focuses on the Forger family, which is a family that spy Loid set up in order to carry out a mission. However, unknown to him, his fake wife is a secret assassin and his fake daughter can read minds, which makes her the only one in the know about her parents’ identities.

PUBG Mobile is available on mobile devices, and the Spy x Family event will run from April 12 to May 13, 2024.

Usually, when PUBG Mobile has a collaboration event, you can expect new cosmetics, such as weapons and armor. Some of the collaborations, such as the one with Sakura Wars, may also have voice cards, which you’ll be able to use during quick chat. Previous anime and games that appeared for a limited time in PUBG Mobile include Evangelion, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Dragon Ball Super.

Spy x Family is a popular manga and anime series that started serialization in 2019. It tells of Loid Forger, a spy, who must get himself a wife and kid for a mission. He ends up getting a fake kid and a fake wife. However, unbeknownst to him, his wife is an assassin and his kid is a psychic. As of December 2023, it is one of the best-selling manga series of all time, with 34 million copies in circulation.

As for PUBG Mobile, it launched in March 2018 and was at one point the second most-played mobile game of all time. It is a free-to-play battle royale game that is a mobile adaptation of PUBG: Battlegrounds. The game usually features players parachuting down to a remote island and then fighting until either there’s only one player standing, or everyone dies when the zone closes.

Originally announced in 2022, The PUBG Mobile and Dragon Ball Super crossover event will finally land as part of the game's 2.7 update. Arriving on July 13, 2023, the update will bring new game modes, character skins, items, and vehicles, as well as an anime-themed map. More news from the partnership is due to be revealed on August 11, 2023.

The first of two new game modes is the Dragon Ball Super themed mode, which tasks players with collecting Dragon Balls hidden around PUBG maps in order to gain powerful buffs by summoning Shenron. The second mode is called Battle Royal: Dragon Ball Super mode and will allow players to take control of one of five classic Dragon Ball characters. Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Frieza and Ultimate Gohan will be available. Each character has their own abilities, and we can upgrade them by collecting Spirit Crystals while using several new traversal options like Teleport points and Updraft. On July 14, 2023, several special outfits and items will become available in the PUBG Mobile store, including outfits based on Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, Pilaf and Karin.

Player Unkown's Battlegrounds has previously held collaborations with both Gackt and Evangelion, resulting in special themed cosmetics like plug suits and EVA-inspired armor for player characters to wear. The Dragon Ball franchise also recently had several movies added to Crunchyroll's library Dragon Ball Super: Broly, and Uniqlo had a special series of Dragon Ball themed shirts launch back in May.

Gackt will appear once again as a collaboration skin in PUBG Mobile in Japan. This outfit uses what he wore in the Jougen no Tsuki 2003 live tour back in 2003. The Gackt: Jougen no Tsuki crate will appear until February 2, 2023 in PUBG Mobile. [Thanks, Dengeki Online!]

Not only will you be able to look like how Gackt did back in 2003, but he will also have special voice lines depending on the season. You can hear them on Valentine’s Day or Christmas in the lobby, as well as in specific situations during a match. However, it did not specify what said situations are, which means players will need to either get the Gackt voice from the loot crates or find a compilation on YouTube.

For a limited time, there are daily bonuses and missions to complete for free crates. In total, you can get 25 Gackt: Jougen no Tsuki crates for free from just logging in and playing the game. On the eighth day, you can get a permanent Snow Gakucchi charm. The charm looks like Gackt bundled up in a winter jacket.

So far, we know of another PUBG Mobile collaboration on the horizon and it's going to be with Dragon Ball. Since the announcement included a poster of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, it's likely to specifically focus on the film version. News of this event came out in August 2022, though we still do not have a concrete release date for it yet.

PUBG Mobile is available on mobile devices, and the Gackt: Jougen no Tsuki collaboration will only be on the Asian server.

PUBG Mobile will be holding a crossover with the Dragon Ball series. First revealed on the game's official Twitter , little information about the crossover was given other than that it is "coming soon." By "soon", that means Dragon Ball will make its way to PUBG Mobile in 2023. The announcement included art from the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero film, hinting that some of the crossover content could be specific to the movie.

The second Dragon Ball Super movie, titled Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, was released in Japan on June 11, 2022. The movie is currently airing in theaters in North America and other regions worldwide, with even more regions and territories getting theatrical releases throughout September. It is already one of the top-grossing anime movies of all time.

As for PUBG Mobile, though it's also run by PUBG Corporation, it operates as a separate title with unique content compared with the console- and PC-based PUBG: Battlegrounds. Both titles were early popular pioneers of the battle royal subgenre. They spun off of mods created by Brendan "PlayerUnknown" Greene for the military sim game Arma II.

This is far from the first time PUBG Mobile has played host to an anime crossover event. Series such as Jujutsu Kaisen, Black Lagoon, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and even Sakura Wars previously made appearances in the mobile title. Interestingly, this isn't Dragon Ball's first crossover with a battle royal game, either. Fortnite ran a Dragon Ball event that took place from August 16 to August 30, 2022.

PUBG Mobile will see several Neon Genesis Evangelion cosmetics appear in the game as part of a limited-time crossover. Players will be able to obtain Rei Ayanami and Shinji Ikari cosmetics, which include the character's respective plugsuits, until June 19, 2022. Additionally, other Neon Genesis Evangelion cosmetics will appear in PUBG Mobile. These include a Pen-Pen buddy and an EVA-01 backpack and helmet. [Thanks, Gamer!]

Players can obtain these cosmetic items through special "Evangelion" crates. Items will randomly be acquired through these crates, which means consumers may need to purchase several crates to receive the cosmetics they desire. Additionally, a special Neon Genesis Evangelion-themed outfit will be available to obtain in the game. This includes an EVA-01 outfit complete with a helmet and unique weapon skin.

PUBG Mobile has seen several anime crossover events appear in the mobile title. These have included Jujutsu Kaisen and Black Lagoon. Like the Neon Genesis Evangelion crossover event, players could obtain unique cosmetics inspired by the anime, such as character outfits, for a limited time. Special event challenges have also been held during these crossovers.

PUBG Mobile is available for Android and iOS devices. The Neon Genesis Evangelion and PUBG Mobile crossover event will begin on May 19 and last until June 19, 2022.

Rather than getting in the robot, PUBG Mobile players will be fighting alongside an Evangelion icon in a new crossover. Starting on May 19, 2022, they will appear in-game. People who take part in the Core Circle mode can fight alongside EVA-01 against the Sixth Angel. People will also be able to get cosmetic items like plugsuits.

Here’s how it will work. Once the Evangelion PUBG Mobile event kicks off, they will need to find EVA-01. The EVA will head off to fight the Sixth Angel, which is heading to attack Spawn Island. You’ll be able to watch the fight while facing foes, and also be able to get different supplies depending on the phase of the fight.

There will also be cosmetics during this Evangelion crossover, and those will show up before the event begins. The armor, backpacks, parachutes, and plugsuits will start appearing on May 14, 2022. It is unknown which items might require purchases or if some could be earned.

Anime crossovers aren't uncommon in PUBG Mobile. Some other series that showed up in the game are Black Lagoon, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Sakura Wars.

Tencent's Lightspeed & Quantum Studios announced an PUBG: Mobile collaboration with Black Lagoon. It will start sometime in March 2022. During this window, players will be able to get costumes and voice cards of characters from Black Lagoon. However, there is no news yet as to which characters other than Revy will appear. According to the announcement, PUBG: Mobile’s official Twitter and website will update with more information in the future. The website describes the event skins as “stylish and hardboiled,” fitting with the noir action of the source material. Aside from a synopsis of the game and of Black Lagoon, the site does not have much on it. This collaboration seems to be exclusive to the Japanese version of the game.

The manga for Black Lagoon started serialization in 2002, and the anime series ran from April to December 2006. It follows Rokuro “Rock” Okajima after he s the Lagoon Company and makes a living in Roanapur. Roanapur is a hotspot of multiple criminal organizations, as well as thieves, thugs, assassins, and the like.

PUBG Mobile is available on mobile devices. Past PUBG Mobile collaborations include Sakura Wars and Jujutsu Kaisen. The Black Lagoon event will run in the Japanese server of PUBG Mobile in March 2022.

An August 29, 2021 PUBG Mobile Indonesia presentation confirmed that Jujutsu Kaisen is coming to the battle royale. The brief announcement only showed a promotional image with what appeared to be cursed energy and a curse over the battle royale's familiar island while the series' Lone Survivor looks on.

Here's the brief announcement. It comes up exactly at the 16 minute mark of the PUBG Mobile 2021 Team Up Challenge - Pertandingan Final video. The announcement doesn't mention how the crossover will exactly work. It is possible there will be cosmetic items resembling characters from the series. There could also be changes to the environment that could contain different elements from the anime and manga series.

As for a dedicated Jujutsu Kaisen game, one is on the way. Sumzap is working on Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade. That will be a mobile RPG.

There's also a Jujutsu Kaisen Tamagotchi in the works. That will show up sometime in December 2021. When it launches, it will let you raise characters from the series.

PUBG Mobile is available on Android and Apple iOS devices, and the Jujutsu Kaisen event doesn't have a release date yet. The Jujutsu Kaisen anime is available to watch on Funimation. Viz Media is handling the English release of the manga.

An unexpected set of guests is dropping over Murder Island: The Imperial Combat Revue. PUBG Mobile, the mobile version of multiplayer battle royale shooter PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, will kick off a crossover with Sega's Sakura Wars franchise in Japan. The announcement was made via the game's official Japanese Twitter .

The banner featured some art of Sakura Wars heroine Sakura Shinguji, hinting that the PUBG Mobile crossover would be based on the original Sakura Wars games, rather than the newer appearing in Sakura Wars V or the 2019/2020 Sakura Wars sequel/reboot. The text also indicated that the content would include (or consist of) "Voice Cards".

A trailer was also linked in the tweet, and featured voice actress Chisa Yokoyama reprising her role as Sakura and narrating the chaotic opening moments of a PUBG Mobile match. The trailer also features the Sakura Wars opening theme, as well as visual elements mimicking the series' "Next Episode" preview segments.

Voice cards are able content packs included in PUBG Mobile's loot box-style gacha system. Obtaining a voice card allows players to use voice clips in quick chat, not unlike "voice pack" content sold in other games such as Call of Duty or Dota 2. In 2020 a Voice Card based on celebrity Gackt was added to the game.

One Twitter ,  @R_020115, posted what looked to be a screenshot (or a mockup) of Sakura Wars character voice packs in the game, allegedly leaked from PUBG Mobile's beta server.

PUBG Mobile is immediately available on iOS and Android, and Sakura Wars is available on PS4. A starting date for the Sakura Wars crossover was not revealed, nor was it confirmed if the content would be made available outside Japan.
