Masakazu Morita was spotted posing with the Proplica of Ichigo Kurosaki's sword Tensa Zangetsu from Bleach. The Japanese voice actor who performed as the series' protagonist found the replica product while it was displayed at Jump Festa 2025.

The original voice actor posing with the character's replica sword toy also brings a profound meaning. When Bandai Spirits unveiled the Tensa Zangetsu Proplica in late August 2024, it revealed that the toy will also have over 140 audio files, which include voiced lines from Ichigo Kurosaki. That means Masakazu Morita's voices are also included inside the product, which can be powered with three AAA batteries.

Pre-orders for the Proplica have been opened since September 3, 2024. The life-sized sword replica will have an overall length of around 121 cm or almost 4 feet. The product will be available with a Japanese tax-inclusive MSRP of 19,800 yen (~$126).

Bandai Spirits will release the Proplica of the Tensa Zangetsu sword from Bleach worldwide, starting in Japan in January 2025. The company will release this product to help celebrate both the 10th anniversary of the Proplica line and the 20th anniversary of the Bleach anime. The final arc of The Thousand-Year Blood War Arc - Conflict Story started airing in October 2024.

Bandai Spirits has revealed via its Tamashii Nations website that it will release a Proplica sword of the Tensa Zangetsu from Bleach for fun or cosplay purchases. The company will sell official replicas of Ichigo Kurosaki's signature sword worldwide in early 2025 at 19,800 yen (~$136.35).

The product will be a life-size replica of the sword, so it will also be suitable for completing a cosplay set of Ichigo Kurosaki. However, this item will also have many audio gimmicks. Besides the sword-swinging sound effects, it will contain over 140 voice lines. In addition, the replica sword can also play short versions of the Bleach theme songs "ALONES" and "Number One."

Bandai Spirits has also ed a promotion trailer featuring the Tensa Zangetsu Bleach Proplica and someone in Ichigo cosplay on its YouTube channel:

Even though the original manga series had concluded in 2016, the Bleach franchise is still actively getting new content following the anime adaptation of the Thousand-Year Blood War arc that launched in 2022. The third part of the above adaptation will start airing in October 2024. New games themed after the arc, such as Rebirth of Souls for consoles and Soul Puzzle for mobile devices, will also appear worldwide.

The Proplica of Ichigo Kurosaki's sword Tensa Zangetsu from Bleach will be available worldwide in January 2025. Bandai Spirits will start accepting pre-orders for the product on September 3, 2024.

Tamashii Nations announced the development of a replica Master Sword from the Legend of Zelda series, which will be part of the company's PROPLICA line. While details are scarce at the moment, Tamashii has said a prototype will be displayed at the Tamashii Nation 2023 event in Akihabara.

PROPLICA is a line of replica weapons by Tamashii Nation, itself a part of Bandai Namco. Previous PROPLICA pieces have included voice lines from the media they are from, though it is unknown if the Master Sword will include these.

Previous releases in Tamashii Nations' PROPLICA line include Yuta Okkotsu's sword from Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and the serrated Nichirin blades used by Inosuke from Demon Slayer. As for the Legend of Zelda, Nintendo recently announced that a live-action movie based on the series is in production with Wes Ball set to direct. The company also released sales figures reporting that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom sold nearly 20 million copies during the first half of the current fiscal year.

There is currently no release date for the Legend of Zelda PROPLICA Replica Master Sword from Tamashii Nations, however a prototype is set to be show at the Tamashii Nation event in Akihabara beginning November 17, 2023.

Pre-orders for a 1/1 replica of Yuta Okkotsu’s sword from Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will start on January 12, 2023. This is part of the Proplica series of merchandise. Like other Proplica items, there are gimmicks in the swords that will let you reproduce scenes from the movie. It will cost 14,850 JPY, which is about $112.30, and will come out in June 2023. The Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Yuta Okkotsu’s sword replica will have two modes. The first one is Rika Manifestation Mode, and the second one is Jujutsu High Mode. These modes mainly affect what voice lines you hear. In Rika Manifestation Mode, it will play Yuta’s lines from his fights in the movie, as well as Rika’s lines from when she appears. As for Jujutsu High Mode, it will play Rika and Yuta’s lines when they are freeing her. It will also play lines Yuta, Panda, Maki, and Toge said to each other.

As a first from Proplica, there are three separate gimmicks you can use to experience what it’s like being Yuta. The first one recreates the feeling of pouring curse energy into the blade. To activate it, you slide your hand across the blade. There are also slashing and Rika gimmicks, which make it seem like you are fighting. Both gimmicks vibrate and play voice lines from the movie.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is available to stream via Crunchyroll, and the Yuta Okkotsu’s sword replica will be available for pre-order from January 12, 2023.

Bandai opened pre-orders for a scale replica of Demon Slayer Inosuke Hashibira's Nichirin blades. The two PROPLICA blades feature over 100 different voice lines, sound effects, and BGM. The blades will cost ¥16,500 (about $145), and ship sometime in August 2022. As of writing, the replica is only available in Japan. [Thanks, Hobby Watch!]

Notably, the voice lines include iconic phrases such as "I'm going to win against you, Gonpachiro Kamaboko!" and "Using my head? That kind of thing isn't like me at all!" Each blade has unique chipped designs, and the hilts are molded to look like the original wrappings in the anime and manga. The total length of both swords is approximately 935mm (about 36 inches). Both blades also come with their own stands for display.

Additionally, the replica blades feature two buttons, one dedicated to a Boar Rush mode and the other to a Demon Slayer mode. s can also cross the two hilts to activate the Beast Breathing sound effect which plays from both swords. Background music can also play simultaneously and includes "As a Demon Squad ~ With Inosuke," and Inosuke's theme from the anime's first season.

Demon Slayer fans can soon get their hands on a replica Nichirin Blade based on the Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku’s sword. The 1:1 scale replica katana will be part of the same PROPLICA Demon Slayer Nichirin Blade series that included a Tanjiro Kamado's replica Nichirin Blade in October 2020. The blade will be approximately 950mm long. The manufacturers calculated the katana's size to ensure it would be the same size as Kyojuro Rengoku's, based on his official height.

Everything from the grip to the engraved "惡鬼滅殺" ("destroy evil demons") will be made to realistically mimic his katana. All of the finer details were supervised by official staff, including the flames' different colors and shades.

Similar to the Tanjiro Kamado replica blade, it will come with different modes so it can play sounds from the series. The "Demon Slaying Mode" will use Kyojuro quotes from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train. The other SFX mode is called "Umai Mode," and it will play recordings of Kyojuro saying "Umai!" ("Good!") from the movie. Both modes will include various sound effects of Kyojuro using "Flame Breathing" techniques from the film as well.
