Uniqlo announced it will sell shirts based on Pokemon Trading Card Game and Pokemon TCG Pocket, with both adult and kids styles appearing in August 2025. The official Japanese site updated showing the nine men’s designs, which are unisex items, and the eight kids options.

The adult Uniqlo Pokemon Trading Card Game and TCG Pocket designs are divided into five t-shirts and four sweatshirts. In each case, they’ll be available in sizes XS (extra small) through XXXXL. Each shirt is ¥1,500 (~$11), and the sweatshirts are ¥2,990 (~$21). Designs feature characters like Gardevoir, Gengar, Kabuto, Magikarp, Mewtwo Omanyte, Pikachu, Slowpoke, Snorlax, Unown. In the case of the Gardevoir shirt and the Gengar and Mewtwo sweatshirts, the design is on the back.

Here’s how all of those look:

As for the kids styles, there are four t-shirts and four sweatshirts. They can be found in children’s sizes 3-4y (100) to 13y (160). The shirts cost ¥990 (~$7) each, while the sweatshirts are ¥1,990 (~$14). In some cases, they feature designs similar to the adult options, such as with Pikachu and Mewtwo. However, the Charizard, Eevee, Lucario, Lapras, Mew, and Mimikyu styles are only available in the kids collection.

These are the initial pictures of all eight of them.

The US Uniqlo site isn’t showing any of these new shirts yet. However, it does show some of the other Pokemon Sketch style items already available. Since these types of collections do tend to show up everywhere, it might launch at or around the same time.

The Uniqlo Pokemon Trading Card Game and TCG Pocket shirts will show up in Japan in August 2025. It is unknown when we might start to see the designs appear in-stores and online worldwide. Pokemon TCG Pocket is available on mobile devices.

pokemon domestic home items

The Pokemon Center in Japan released the new collection of cute and useful home items to spruce up your domicile. These items were originally announced on April 18, 2025. Now they're in store online, ahead of a larger debut. Some of the more notable items include a Bulbasaur planter, a Geodude hanger, and a Trubbish garbage can.

You can now purchase these items via the online Pokemon Center store. If you want to get them from the physical locations, you’ll have to wait until April 26, 2025. Items range from house slippers to bookends. So, like past collections such as the Pikachu Everyday Fun Kitchen line, they’re good for the older Pokemon fan who still want to communicate their love for the series through their furniture.

Here are the various items in this new collection:

  • Bulbasaur miniature planter: 4,400 JPY (~$31)
  • Cubchoo tissue case: 2,970 JPY (~$21)
  • Gardevoir and Gallade bookends: 3,960 JPY (~$28)
  • Geodude hanger: 2,420 JPY (~$17)
  • Maushold wall clock: 4,950 JPY (~$35)
  • Mimikyu stand mirror: 3,960 JPY (~$28)
  • Psyduck room slippers: 3,960 JPY (~$28)
  • Snorunt fridge deodorizer: 2,750 JPY ($20)
  • Sprigatito aroma stone diff: 3,850 JPY ($27)
  • Trubbish garbage can: 3,300 JPY ($23)

And here's a closer look at all of the different items in this collection.

As a note, products that require another item to work will not come with said item. For example, you’ll need to provide the batteries for the Maushold clock yourself, as well as find the deodorant for the Snorunt fridge deodorant yourself. To use the aroma stone diff, you’ll need to use a few droplets of essential oil on the stone flowers on the plate. The Sprigatito is sitting next to it, as if it’s guarding the stones. The scent of the essential oil you used will waft up in the air after that.

The Pokemon domestic home items are available on the online Pokemon Center stores in Japan. They’ll appear in physical locations around the country from April 26, 2025.

Life-size Eevee Plush s Japanese Pokemon Center in April

The Pokemon Company announced that Pokemon Center stores in Japan, as well as the Amazon storefront that does ship to the US, will begin selling a life-size Eevee plush. Details are slim about the toy so far. However, we do know that the online storefront will begin selling the new Eevee stuffed animal on April 24, 2025, followed by a wider release on April 26, 2025.

This Eevee is designed to look identical to the ones found in Pokemon games and in the anime. The pose features it lying down while looking up at their owner. We don’t know how big exactly it will be yet. According to in-game data, it is about a foot tall, but since this one is laying down it should be shorter than that. We do know the price will be 3,850円 (~$27).

Here are the initial promotional photos of the Eevee stuffed animal:

There have been so many life-size Pokemon stuffed animals released prior to this Eevee plush. For example, this year started with a life-size Gardevoir doll debuting in January 2025. In honor of the year of the Snake, we also saw stuffed replicas of Ekans and Serperior. Others also included versions of Altaria, Larvesta, Lucario, Psyduck, Slowpoke, and Wailord.

As for whether or not we’ll see it outside of Japan in the US Pokemon Center online store, it is possible. After all, in the past we did see ones like the life-size Mareep launch worldwide. In fact, the aforementioned Larvesta is still in stock for $399.99.

New Pokemon Dreams Plush Feature Sleeping Stuffed Animals

The Pokemon Center opened up orders for a new and returning collection of Pokemon Dreams stuffed animals that features eight different plush characters as they sleep. They start at $29.99. However, the largest and most elaborate one is $59.99. In some cases, they are rereleases of characters released alongside the debut of the Pokemon Sleep app.

There are four characters that are $29.99. These are Chikorita, Cubone, Pikachu, and Slowpoke. Chikorita is sleeping on its stomach, while Cubone lays on its side while cuddling its bone-shaped hammer. Both Pikachu and Slowpoke are sleeping on their backs.

Three of the stuffed animals are $34.99. These are the Eevee, Gengar, and Larvitar. The Eevee’s price seems to be due to the fact that it is one of the larger variants at 18 inches long. The Gengar is slightly chunky and has a tongue sticking out, even though it is only over 11 inches long. In the case of the Larvitar, it is 14 inches long and holding a berry.

The most expensive plush in the Pokemon Dreams collection features a Pikachu asleep on top of a napping Snorlax stuffed animal. This one costs $59.99. It is also the largest in the collection at 20 inches long.

Here is how all of the characters in this Pokemon stuffed animal collection look:

pokemon center fukuoka

A new Pokemon Center store will open up in the Hakata Marui, which is in the Fukuoka Prefecture. The new logo for the Pokemon Center Fukuoka branch depicts Pikachu riding on a Latias, while a Latios floats behind them.

Currently, the Pokemon Center in Fukuoka is in the Hakata AMU Plaza Building. However, it will close down on May 12, 2025 to focus on building the new store. When the new store reopens in Hakata Marui, it will have a larger space to accommodate for more customers at a time. The large amount of tourists that Japan sees every year, as well as the worldwide popularity and appeal of Pokemon, likely contribute to the need for more space. The Fukuoka store will re-open up in Summer 2025, with more details to appear later.

Incidentally, when the store re-opens, it will mark the second Pokemon Center in a Marui building. The other one is in Yokohama.

As for why Latios and Latias adorn the new logo, this is likely due to them being legendary Pokemon from the Hoenn region. GameFreak drew inspiration from the Kyushu region when deg Hoenn, and Fukuoka is the largest city in Kyushu. Hoenn’s generation mascot legendaries are Kyogre and Groudon, but the Pokemon Center likely chose Latios and Latias instead due to their “cuter” designs.

The Pokemon Center in Fukuoka will temporarily close down on May 12, 2025 and the new store will open in Hakata Marui some time in Summer 2025. The next Pokemon game to come out is Pokemon Legends: Z-A, which will come out in Fall 2025 for the Nintendo Switch.

pokemon cheese triangles

Kraft cheese triangles featuring Pokemon like Eevee and Pikachu on the lids will come out in Japan some time during early April 2025. There will be four flavors to choose from when they debut. It is unknown if we’ll also see them in Asian grocery stores outside Japan. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

The four flavors you can get are orange, rare cheesecake (with lemon flavor), strawberry, and blueberry. The first to come out will be the orange flavor, which depicts an Eevee on the lid. You’ll be able to see these in stores from April 8, 2025. As a note, this flavor is a seasonal one, so you can only get it during the spring and summer months.

The other flavors will appear over the next few weeks in stores that carry cheese triangles. Pikachu garnishes the cheesecake (lemon) flavor, Jigglypuff is on the strawberry, and Snorlax is on the blueberry. The underside of the lid, as well as the aluminum foil wrapping around each cheese triangle, depicts all four Pokemon laying around as well.

These Pokemon cheese triangles are part of the Morinaga promotion that started in late March 2025. It released six-packs of yogurt depicting Pokemon on the containers around then as well. As for why these cheese triangles have the Kraft logo on them, this is due to a licensing deal with KraftFoods.

pokemon pikachu flower arrangements

For Mother’s Day 2025, the Pokemon Center in Japan will let you show your appreciation for your mom with Pikachu flower arrangements. You can choose either fresh flowers or preserved ones.

Both arrangements feature a flower Pikachu surrounded by pink, red, and white. Decals on the yellow pom pom mum are what makes it look like the Pokemon. So you can’t keep the Pikachu itself forever. However, the pot that the fresh arrangement comes in can be reused as decoration, as it’s a wooden planter with a laser-printed Pikachu design on it. The preserved flowers have a card instead, and can last a year. You should avoid placing it in direct sunlight or in humid places, though. Since they're flowers, The Pokemon Center will only accept domestic orders.

Pre-orders will end on May 1, 2025, and the flowers will ship out from May 7, 2025. The fresh flowers cost 7260 JPY ($48.50), and use carnations and baby’s breath. Meanwhile, the preserved flower arrangement costs 8910 JPY ($59.55), and use carnations, roses, and hydrangea. Aside from differences in the planter, the fresh flowers are much larger, standing at 18 cm. The preserved flower arrangement is only around 11 cm tall.

The newest entry in the Pokemon game series, Pokemon Legends: Z-A, will come out for the Nintendo Switch in Fall 2025.

Morinaga Milk will release four-packs of Bifidas yogurt featuring various Pokemon species from March 31, 2025 in Japan. They will only be available until mid-May 2025, though Morinaga warned that it may end sales early if it runs out of product due to demand.

Each flavor type will have a different Pokemon on it, making for a total of seven variations. Pikachu is always on the packaging. Some of the packages focus on matching the Pokemon type to the flavor. The aloe flavor has Sprigatito, Petilil, and Oddish, which are all Grass Pokemon. However, the four-flavor variety pack has Eevee, Flareon, Espeon, and Leafeon. While they don’t share the same Type, they’re all part of the same evolutionary family. The mixed juice flavor only has Pikachu, which is likely because of its yellow fur. Though there are other yellow Pokemon in the franchise, they likely lack the sheer marketability Pikachu boasts.

Morinaga also teases three more products to receive Pokemon packaging in the future. Two of the silhouettes are boxes, and one of them has a Pino-like shape next to it. Compared to a yogurt cup with the Pokemon on the lid, it’s likely far easier for collectors to preserve a box.

Pokemon Legends Z-A, which will be the newest game in the franchise, will come out on the Nintendo Switch in Fall 2025. The Bifidas yogurt with Pokemon designs will appear in Japan starting on March 31, 2025.
