The Pokemon Company has revealed that it worked with Asken to produce official recipes for some of the Pokemon Sleep meals in real life. People can now reproduce select meals from the Pokemon-themed sleep management game app, provided they can understand or translate the Japanese recipes.

Asken has set up separate webpages for each of the four recipes featured in this collaboration. The Pokemon Sleep recipes in question are the Limber Corn Stew, Petal Blizzard Layered Salad, Dream Eater Butter Curry, and Apple Acid Yogurt-Dressed Salad.

This collaboration appears due to the close relationship between the purposes of both apps. Asken is known for running a diet management consultation service on PC and mobile devices. Over 12 million people have ed for the service in Japan.

Asken has also ed a new related video on its YouTube channel. It introduced a collaborative research between the two apps and the University of Tsukuba's International Institute for Integrative Sleep Medicine about the correlation between sleep and food management for people's health.

New Pokemon Dreams Plush Feature Sleeping Stuffed Animals

The Pokemon Center opened up orders for a new and returning collection of Pokemon Dreams stuffed animals that features eight different plush characters as they sleep. They start at $29.99. However, the largest and most elaborate one is $59.99. In some cases, they are rereleases of characters released alongside the debut of the Pokemon Sleep app.

There are four characters that are $29.99. These are Chikorita, Cubone, Pikachu, and Slowpoke. Chikorita is sleeping on its stomach, while Cubone lays on its side while cuddling its bone-shaped hammer. Both Pikachu and Slowpoke are sleeping on their backs.

Three of the stuffed animals are $34.99. These are the Eevee, Gengar, and Larvitar. The Eevee’s price seems to be due to the fact that it is one of the larger variants at 18 inches long. The Gengar is slightly chunky and has a tongue sticking out, even though it is only over 11 inches long. In the case of the Larvitar, it is 14 inches long and holding a berry.

The most expensive plush in the Pokemon Dreams collection features a Pikachu asleep on top of a napping Snorlax stuffed animal. This one costs $59.99. It is also the largest in the collection at 20 inches long.

Here is how all of the characters in this Pokemon stuffed animal collection look:

The Pokemon Dreams stuffed animals that feature an array of plush that look like they are asleep are available now at the Pokemon Center. The Pokemon Sleep app is available on mobile devices.

pokemon sleep smartwatches

You can now sync your Pokemon Sleep with smartwatches. It is only compatible with Apple Watch, Galaxy Watch, Google Pixel Watch, and Fitbit.

Instructions, as well as which specific devices are compatible, are available on the Pokemon Sleep website. How you pair them also depends on the smartwatch you have. For instance, Android smartwatches pair with Pokemon Sleep via Health Connect. Meanwhile, Apple Watch requires Apple Health.

After linking the app, you’ll need to use the sleep tracking in your smartwatch rather than the Pokemon Sleep app itself. Recording sleep data this way is easier, as you don’t need to tab into the app and keep it open. You simply need to go to sleep after setting everything up in your smartwatch. As of the time of writing, there is no information as to whether or not more smartwatches will become compatible with Pokemon Sleep.

Pokemon Sleep is a sleep-tracking app in which your sleeping habits can help you observe how Pokemon rest. You can also use Pokemon you befriend to fetch berries and ingredients, which you can then use to cook for your Pokemon. The more Drowsy Power you gain from good sleeping habits, the more Pokemon will show up to your location.

Pokemon Sleep is readily available on mobile devices.

pokemon sleep

data from Pokemon Sleep shows that, at least in Japan, players of the game have slept more in 2023 compared to 2022. Players slept almost thirty minutes more on average in September 2023 than in September 2022. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

LY Corporation was the one to present these findings. It tracked data from Pokemon Sleep s and search engines and compared them with a control group that didn’t play or use the app. It found that not only did players enjoy around 26 more minutes of sleep on average compared to their sleep time in 2022, but they also tended to research better methods as well. Some search that s looked for included aromatherapy recommendations, ways to sleep when not sleepy, and ideal sleep patterns.

In comparison, only a few people from the control group searched for ways to improve their sleep. They also didn’t look for as many options as the Pokemon Sleep players. The control group only had a minute more sleep time in 2023 compared to 2022. This study showed that the app did help people sleep more, as well as made them seriously think more about ways to improve it.

Pokemon Sleep is available on mobile devices.

Pokemon Sleep Will Appear in 2023

Pokemon Sleep will appear in Summer 2023. The Pokemon Company International announced it at the February 27, 2023 Pokemon Presents. It will work with Android and Apple iOS devices. People can use the new Pokemon GO+ Plus device or place their phone next to their pillow while they sleep. The device will appear in July, and it will have a Pikachu “inside” it to sing lullabies and will grant you access to a Snorlax with a sleep cap.

Both someone’s phone or Pokemon GO+ Plus can be used to measure the data. This will be “analyzed” by the new Pokemon Professor Neroli. There will also be an ever-present Snorlax around.

Here’s a screenshot from the presentation showing how the collected data will look.

Based on the data, different Pokemon will congregate while you sleep to also nap. Someone’s sleep type could be classified as dozing, snoozing, or slumbering, based on their behaviors. You’ll then get to “collect” Pokemon who show up to you based on your sleep styles.

You can see the first trailers and footage of the game at the 12:50 mark in the presentation below.
