Sunshine City Prince Hotel has revealed that it will temporarily run a collaboration restaurant based on Atlus' Persona 3 Reload. The Wilduck Burger will also appear as one of the meals available in the restaurant. That means people will literally have the opportunity to take the Wilduck Burger Big Eater Challenge from the Persona 3 game in real life.

The Wilduck Burger Special Set will cost ¥4,000 (~$27.50). Some of the ingredients used for the real-life version of the food will be Hamburg meat, cheese, mushroom sauce, and fried potatoes.

The burger will not be the only meal this restaurant will offer. The full menu will include meals themed after each of the key Persona 3 characters like Yukari, Junpei, Akihiko, and Mitsuru, with prices averaging at around ¥2,800 (~$19.20). It will also have non-alcoholic drinks themed after the characters at ¥1,500 (~$10.30) and alcoholic beverages based on their respective Personas at ¥1,800 (~$12.35).

The restaurant will also hand over a random rectangular placemat for every Persona 3-themed meal ordered and a circular coaster mat for each drink purchased. The designs shared will only be available during the first half of the event's duration from June 6, 2025, until July 3, 2025. The second half, which runs until August 3, 2025, will have a different design lineup.

This is how the placemats and coasters will look:

The Persona 3 Reload theme at the collaboration restaurant Ikepri Canvas at Sunshine City Prince Hotel in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, will be available from June 6, 2025 until August 3, 2025. The game is available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.

Persona 3 Lunation the Act Stage Show Actors and Details Shared

Atlus showed three more cast for the Persona 3 Lunation the Act new stage play based on the video game. A key visual of the actors in costume as their characters was revealed on the Persona Japanese official social media . This comes ahead of ticket sales for the performance.

Advanced ticket sales for the new show will open on April 15, 2025 in Japan. Mizuki Umetsu will appear as the Persona 3 protagonist, who in this new play is named Kanata Shiomi. (In most forms of official media, the official name for the main character tends to be Makoto Yuki.) Meanwhile, Momoka Onishi will be Yukari Takeba and Naoki Takeshi will play Junpei Iori.

You can check out the actors in their appearance for the new stage play here. We also see other imagery from the game, such as the clock, moon, and the back of the Shuffle Time tarot cards we select after battles. It also looks like the setting for the photo is Tartarus, the dungeon the characters explore during the Dark Hour.

Persona 3 Lunation the Act is yet another stage play based on the popular JRPG title. The play is set to appear between July 6-13, 2025 at the Theatre G-Rosso in Tokyo, Japan. As a reminder, this isn’t the only stage play based on Persona 3. The Persona 3: The Weird Masquerade stage play appeared in Japan in various acts between 2014 and 2017, and it also covered the female main character route from Persona 3 Portable.

Persona 3 Lunation the Act is set to appear in Tokyo, Japan between July 6-13, 2025. Persona 3 originally appeared for the PS2 in 2006. The Persona 3 Reload remake is readily available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC.

Persona 3 The Movie Anime

Persona 3 Reload finally brought one of my favorite JRPGs of all time to modern audiences in a way that matches the visuals and quality-of-life features of games coming out today. Now that this wish of mine is finally granted, it is time to look ahead to the future. For instance, how it is currently nigh-impossible to legally watch the excellent Persona 3 anime movies.

Persona 3 The Movie was the first in this quartet of films, coming out in Japan on November 23, 2013. Each movie came out about a year after one another, with the final one — Winter of Rebirth — dropping in 2016. What may be surprising about this situation is how relatively new (so to speak) these movies are.

Image via Aniplex

After all, the final movie in the series came out not even 10 years ago at this time. This is quite intriguing since the original Persona 3 came out in 2006. In fact, these movies are even newer than the Persona 4 anime series. It came out in 2011 and even its Golden version came out in 2014.

That said, there is a stark difference between the Persona 3 anime movies and the anime adaptations of both Persona 4 and 5. Both of the latter series are available to stream right now legally on services like Crunchyroll. Despite the Persona 3 movies being newer than the Persona 4 anime, it isn’t available to stream anywhere.

In fact, if you would like to watch these movies legally, you would have to buy the physical copies of the films or a digital version. And, to be frank, good luck with that. Not only are the physical copies hard to find, but they are quite expensive these days. Furthermore, there seems to be a digital version you can get of these films, but it is only available on Amazon Prime as of right now.

Buying digital copies isn’t the most sure-fire solution, especially when it’s only on one platform, and things could change anytime. In addition, it would cost $60 to get all four movies this way. There is a rental option, but then you only have a limited set of time to watch them. It would be much better if you could stream these movies on a service like Netflix or Crunchyroll. This was possible in the past, and is how I watched them, but no longer is the case.

Image via Aniplex

It truly is a shame that the Persona 3 anime movies are unavailable to stream because more fans of the series deserve to see them. I get if you are jaded by the anime adaptations of these masterpiece JRPGs since both Persona 4 and 5’s anime series are a bit lackluster. However, that isn’t the case at all with their Persona 3 counterpart.

For one, the visuals of these movies are incredible. These are movies for a reason, rather than a TV series, and it shows in the quality and budget of the series. Studio A-1 Pictures —that worked on movies 2-4 — is hit-or-miss sometimes when it comes to its animation quality, but these movies are some of the best work the studio has ever done. It captures the dark and grim aesthetics of the original JRPG so well.

In addition, having the movies divided up into four movies gives just enough time to do most of the story justice. Sure, you don’t get some of the side stories here. That said, thankfully, most of the main plot points happen and are done well. In addition, you get just enough time with certain characters to experience their full arc before tragic events happen.

Plus, bringing back the Persona 3 anime movies would allow a service like Crunchyroll to finally dub them. It is a shame there is no official dub for them at this time. With the recent release of the original game’s remake, Persona 3 Reload, in 2024, now feels like the perfect time for these to return. Here’s hoping the Persona 3 anime movies come back soon. After all, fans of the series and this game, in particular, are missing out otherwise.

Persona 3 Reload is available right now for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

persona 3 reload evoker replica

Cerevo opened up pre-orders for the life-sized replica of the SEES Evoker gun from Persona 3 Reload. It’ll come out in March 2025, and it will cost 110,000 JPY ($723.10). [Thanks, Hobby Watch!]

This replica isn’t simply for decoration. With a touch of a button, you can also make it play character voice lines, battle music, and other sound effects. In total, there are 200 sound clips inside of the Persona 3 Reload Evoker gun replica.

You can also put it into Theurgy mode by exchanging a cartridge, which will come with the replica gun. In Theurgy mode, the replica will glow red and the bolt will pop out. After you pull the trigger, the bolt will go back into place while a character voice line and sound effect plays.

Here's a gallery showing off how the Evoker will look and the case it comes with.

Other features include haptic to recreate the recoil of a gun, as well as three different modes. There’s Evoker mode, which only plays sound effects. Random mode will play random sounds. Demo mode will cause it to automatically repeat a certain action.

The replica will come in a briefcase, which also includes the SEES armband and a holster. So you can also use this for cosplay purposes.

Persona 3 Reload is on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Windows PC, and the SEES Evoker replica gun will release in Japan in March 2025.

G-Mode Archives Gets Persona 3 Aigis The First Mission

G-Mode announced the release of Persona 3 Aigis The First Mission for the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. The release date for the game is currently undecided.

Persona 3 Aigis The First Mission is a Japan-only single player action-RPG originally released in 2007 for mobile devices, and it will be the 100th game to release in the G-Mode Archives+ collection. The game will only appear in Japan on the Switch, but will be available worldwide on Steam. However, the game will only be available in Japanese. Furthermore, the game was originally released as Aegis The First Mission in Japan, and the port's title reflects that.

The plot of Persona 3 Aigis The First Mission takes players to Yakushima in May 1999, 10 years prior to the beginning of Persona 3. Like its title implies, players take control of Aigis in an original story. While the mainline Persona series is turn-based, Aigis The First Mission sees players use the titular android fighting against Shadows using her Persona Palladion using three different type of weapons, and four different skills.

In addition, G-Mode showcased some gameplay during their most recent livestream. You can take a look at how Persona 3 Aigis The First Mission plays in the video below. The footage of the game appears between the 1:04:24 mark and finishes at 1:33:47. The stream is only available in Japanese.

https://www.youtube.com/live/IdRhUMEzloM?si=h2hrhOBb-mXFBR5w&t=3864

G-Mode has previously released a variety of Atlus spin-off mobile titles, including Persona: Ikuu no Tou Hen, Megami Tensei Gaiden: Last Bible New Testament III: Mugen no Eiyuu, and most recently Majin Tensei: Blind Thinker.

Persona 3 Aigis The First Mission will appear on the Nintendo Switch in Japan and PC via Steam worldwide. There is currently no set release date.

FiFS, the Japanese illustrator unit that helped create illustrations and manga adaptations for Atlus' Persona series, will hold its own exhibition in Harajuku. The FiFS Illustration Exhibition Plus will run from mid-March 2024 to early April 2024 and include art from Persona 3, 4, and 5.

The exhibition will run in two separate time blocks. The first part will run on March 16-25, 2024, and it will feature illustrations from Prince of Stride and Magical Boy XV. The second part will have some of those illustrations swapped with FiFS' other original works from March 30, 2024, to April 8, 2024. Best Persona Character

The Persona series has always had a wide cast of characters. Whether you loved them or hated them, they often left an impression. Below, we've made a list of who we think could be the best Persona character in the series. Feel free to let us know what you think in the comments.

Don't get mad at me, but Yosuke from Persona 4 is the best character. Why might that be? I think he's a character who undergoes a lot of growth. He starts out hypersensitive about what people think about him and wants to prove himself as somebody worthy of attention rather than derision.

He can be rather bigoted over things he doesn't understand, and many of his jokes come at the expense of hurting other's feelings, but as Persona 4 progresses, he learns how to let go of his prejudices and become a genuine friend. He's loyal, goofy, and always striving to do the right thing. He's a dumb teenager, but he's also a dumb teenager who cares about others. Also, he has a disco frog as a Persona, and that's really neat. — Arielle

I might get flak for this one, but my favorite character in Persona is actually Rise Kujikawa from Persona 4. I know, at first glance, she's the typical pop idol, but her story really resonated with me. At first, Rise is a bubbly celebrity who beams with energy. But then we quickly learn that she's actually struggling with her happiness and the image she has to project for others.

I think a lot of us can relate to this idea of having to act "happy" for the sake of others. Her arc is emotionally impactful to me because she eventually finds her voice and starts to live for herself and not others. And while I usually play with Japanese audio, I actually think Laura Bailey did an amazing job voicing her in the English Dub. — Brent

For all I go on and on about Akechi in Persona 5, I think Kanji from Persona 4 is the best character from the series. He's kind of a goof and gets a bit too much flack from Yosuke for no reason, but I think he's such a sweet character with lots of cool and hilarious scenes. He can do it all! I like how he got more comfortable with himself as you progressed through his storyline and his dynamic with the other first-year characters. Kanji deserves better! — Stephanie

I like Shinji a lot in Persona 3. To be clear, especially in Persona 3 Portable and during the Kotone Shiomi route. He's had to deal with so much, but he's still fighting and doing all that he can to cope and make amends. (Even though he honestly didn't do anything wrong, and what happened wasn't his fault.) Aragaki is great! — Jenni

This life-size bust figure will have an overall height of around 90 cm (~35.43 in), which also includes the stand. The item will also have a width of around 73 cm (~28.74 in) and a depth of approximately 83 cm (~32.67 in).

The static figure will be completely made-to-order by using polyresin and PVC as materials. There will also be specific attention to detail on Aigis' facial features and mechanical ts.

Some of the sample images for the Aigis bust figure are available right below:

FuRyu revealed this life-size Aigis bust figure on the same day Atlus released Persona 3 Reload simultaneously worldwide for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC. Reload is a remake of Persona 3 that is mostly based on the original 2006 PS2 release, but Atlus has also confirmed several content additions from the 2007 Persona 3 FES version.

Persona 3 Reload Makoto and Yukari Concept Art Shared

Atlus offered a peek at the Persona 3 Reload art book concept art images of hero Makoto Yuki and ally Yukari Takeba. Both appear on a page from the collection.

The Persona 3 Reload concept art for Makoto, which is the canon name for the hero in the game, is almost entirely in black and white. The only hint of color is the red S.E.E.S. band on his left arm. He’s looking up at the viewer and wearing his school uniform, complete with his headphones.

Meanwhile, the Yukari concept art shows her as though she’s about to head into battle and features a bit more color to it. She’s wearing a black jacket over her regular school uniform. While the S.E.E.S. armband isn’t present, the left shoulder does feature that iconography. She’s also holding a bow and about to pull out an arrow to use with it.

Here’s the page from the Persona 3 Reload artbook included in the Digital Deluxe Edition. Should someone get that version of the game, it will appear on page 58 of the book.

This isn’t the only bit of behind-the-scenes insight into the game. Atlus shared a video in October 2023 with the new Persona 3 Reload Makoto, Junpei, and Yukari voice actors discussing what it was like to play the characters. That also featured a peek at some gameplay footage and recording sessions.

Persona 3 Reload will be released on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC worldwide on February 2, 2024. Persona 3 Portable is available on the PS4, PSP, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. The original Persona 3 and its FES release are available on the PS2.
