Pocketpair announced some details about what to expect from the Palworld Summer 2025 update, and it confirmed the Terraria crossover will be part of it. It will be called Tides of Terraria, and the teaser image includes the Eye of Cthulhu boss and someone wielding a sword and wearing what looks like the Silver Armor from that game.

The announcement was rather vague and didn’t offer many confirmations about appearances from Terraria in Palworld. It did note that the monsters there will appear as crossover Pals. The image shows a lone character in Silver Armor in the center. The sword that person is wielding is a bit difficult to make it, but it could be the Beam Sword from Terraria. The Eye of Cthulhu is in its first form in that appearance. It seems to be surrounded by the Cave Bat enemies from the game as well. 

As for the other Summer 2025 update additions, Pocketpair shared three Palworld screenshots. One shows the player character fishing in an arctic environment and surrounded by three new Pals. Another shows three new Pals on and by a pier. The final one shows Croajiro and Pengullet with two new Pals that are new variants based on them.

Palworld is available in early access on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the new update arrives in Summer 2025. Future patches will also include changes as a result of the Nintendo lawsuit.

Pocketpair announced a number of changes made and coming to Palworld as a result of the lawsuit filed by Nintendo based on its similarities to Pokemon. This is one of the more extensive responses to the lawsuit filed in 2024, which claimed several patents were violated. The statement confirmed why one change was made to resemble a connection to Poke Balls, and noted another is coming regarding traveling via Pals. 

The change that already happened involved Pal Spheres, the equivalent of Poke Balls. In Palworld, these hold Pals and throwing one with a character in it would allow you to summon the character to appear alongside you. The company said it made that change because of the lawsuit, so now a Pal just appears next to a player after an owned one is called.

The next change will arrive in 0.5.5. When that patch arrives, we won’t ride Pals like we do Pokemon to travel in Palworld anymore. Instead, we need to reply on the Glider equipment. When a player holds one, they will be able to pull it out and fly on it. Some that served that purpose included Celaray and Galeclaw. Pocketpair did say Pal buffs that affected the Glider, such as Celaray letting you move more swiftly, will still be present.

So far, all of the changes to Palworld Pocketpair made in response to the Nintendo lawsuit address gameplay mechanics similar to ones in the Pokemon series and don’t address issues about similar character designs. As anyone who played either game can attest, many character designs bear an uncanny resemblance. Some of the most obvious ones are how Lamball looks like Wooloo, Cattiva resembles Zorua, Anubis seems based on Lucario, Chillet has Goodra vibes, Cremis seems like Eevee, Bristla resembles Bellossom, Bushi looks like Hisuian Decidueye, Foxcicle seems like Ninetails, Katress has a Mismagius look, and Depresso is a dead ringer for Espurr.

Zenless Zone Zero Xbox Tease 5552x

Zenless Zone Zero went for the tongue in cheek “joke” this year that appears to also be seemingly true in a way. The announcement of a new Bangboo arrives in the fake in-game event “An Outstanding Partner.” This Bangboo’s name is XBOO and it certainly carries the classic Xbox logo and green aesthetic.

While XBOO is fake, this joke might actually be hinting at an official Xbox release someday down the line. This is one to certainly keep an eyes on at least.

Fantasy Life i and Life Crossing: Fantasy Horizons 2i6r4v

Level-5 is hard at work on the release of Fantasy Life i, but the developer took the time to both market the game and jest at another game in the process. A really well done trailer showcases the supposed announcement to Animal Crossing: New Horizons known as Life Crossing: Fantasy Horizons. While fake, it honestly looks great with the different animal creatures and the like, but, thankfully, we’ll get Fantasy Life i in the near future.

FFVII Ever Crisis Academy 48472p

This announcement appears to be a joke, though it arguably shouldn’t be. The mobile game FFVII Ever Crisis teased a supposed Academy event. This reimagines the cast of the beloved JRPG as high schoolers at academies. You get Cloud looking like a baseball star, Barret as a teacher, and Aerith and Tifa looking great. Plus, there is a rival Shinra school with Sephiroth and others.

Unfortunately, this is most likely just a joke given its announcement window. It is a shame, though, since it has a lot of stunning art associated with it for the characters.

Palworld: More Than Just Pals 3z2l25

Palworld is celebrating April Fools’ Day with a game joke you might be familiar with. Once again, PocketPair is showing off More Than Just Pals. This is the same visual novel from 2024’s joke where you get to romance humanoid versions of the Pals. It is even more elaborate this time with a Steam page for the spin-off game. I don’t want to get your hopes up, but this once joke may actually turn out to be real down the line, which would be spectacular.

As you might expect, a remarkable indie title released in 2023 certainly doesn’t need a remaster. Rather than joke about the seemingly endless collaborations it has, Dave the Diver joked for April Fool’s Day about a remastered version. This supposed version is coming out for the YS7 and Ybox Series X/L. You’ll have to wait a while for this fake remaster, though, as it is set to arrive in 2049.

For April Fools’ Day 2024, Pocketpair “announced” the Palworld dating sim called Pal♡World: More Than Just Pals with a trailer. Now for April Fools’ Day 2025, there’s another trailer and an actual Steam product page for the visual novel. Five more love interests are apparently revealed.

As mentioned in the initial trailer, the Palworld dating sim reimagines the world as a standard visual novel set in a high school. Players attend Palpagos Private Academy, and they apparently can find love with both human and Pal characters. The 2024 trailer revealed Black Marketeer, Chillet, Katress, Lovander, and Zoe. (Zoe is set to become an ally we can recruit in the main game, as a reminder.) The latest trailer reveals additional love interests like Chillet Ignis, Quivern, Saya, Splatterina, and Tarantriss. 

The latest video is here and shows some scenarios. It highlights gameplay at the end and shows the player petting Chillet Ignis.

Pocketpair has published the results of the Palworld global popularity poll. Zoe won the overall poll, and the company will make her a recruitable ally character in a future update patch for Palworld.

The company launched the poll worldwide in late January 2025. It let people vote for any Pals and faction leader characters who have appeared in the game. There was also a secondary poll where participants had to narrow down their votes to three.

Zoe won the initial overall ranking with 31,535 votes. Meanwhile, Chillet, Jetragon, and Anubis comprise the top three list of the secondary poll, which has since been named the Favorite Pal Ranking. Pocketpair will also mark the results by releasing commemorative skins for all three winning Pals.

Zoe is not the only human character to make an impact in this Palworld poll. Saya and Lily rounded up the top three of the overall ranking, and they also made their way to the top ten list of the Favorite Pal ranking. But despite these achievements, it still remains to be seen whether Saya and Lily will also be made into recruitable allies in future updates or not.

Palworld is readily available worldwide on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Mac. Pocketpair has also released an update patch that enables crossplay on all aforementioned platforms.

Pocketpair promised Palworld crossplay would appear around the end of March 2025, and it made good on that. The update arrived on the evening of March 18, 2025. In addition, the company revealed details about an ongoing Palworld sale that covers every version.

Alongside the patch, Pocketpair confirmed some details about the update. Crossplay is available on every platform. This also means if you catch Pals, you can share them by transferring them between different Worlds. An Xbox Series X hotfix was also released to address issues with character save data.

There’s also a trailer to go over the Palworld crossplay update. It highlights someone’s base with multiplePals working and thriving. An enemy Astegon then appears. While the player seems overpowered, an group of allies suddenly appears to assist and fight back. The group then 

As for the Palworld sale, the length of it varies depending on the platform. On Steam, the PC version is only on sale until March 20, 2025. This is in line with the Steam Spring Sale. The PS5 version is reduced for slightly longer, as that discount is in effect at the PlayStation Store until March 27, 2025. The Xbox Series X price drop will appear for the longest period of time, as the Microsoft Store says that lasts for 20 days. So someone should have until April 8, 2025 to take advantage of the deal.

Palworld is a work-in-progress, with the title being in early access on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and soon an update will add cross-play. Pocketpair confirmed that will arrive at the end of March 2025, though there is no exact date for the feature yet. 

There are very few details about what the crossplay element of Palworld will entail. Essentially, it seems it will apply to both multiplayer and Pal world transfers. Currently, up to four people on the same platform can play together in a standard game, but those with a server could bring 32 players together. So if this works as intended at launch, we’ll likely be able to see up to four people from the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC versions all ing up to adventure and work together. This should also mean guilds would be open to everyone, which would also open up Pal trading via Pal Boxes. 

While details about that gameplay element are scarce, Pocketpair was very forthcoming about a new sale on the early access game. It is reduced temporarily on both Steam and the PlayStation Store. In each case, it is 25% off, bringing the price down to $22.49. That offer lasts until March 27, 2025. 

This is the second major update for Palworld in March 2025. At the start of the month, the game appeared on Macs. Given the lawsuit against Pocketpair by Nintendo, it is unlikely we will ever see the game on a Switch console.

Palworld is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC in early access, and the crossplay update will arrive at the end of March 2025.

Pocketpair announced on March 4, 2025, that it has just released the Mac version of Palworld. People can now purchase the game from the Mac App Store at $29.99 / ¥3,400, although they must have at least 22.8GB of free space to install it. The company has also shared a new artwork showing the Pals playing the game on a Mac to celebrate its new release on the platform.

The Mac version had an additional set of hurdles it had to until Pocketpair successfully released it. The company originally planned to release the Mac version on November 26, 2024. However, it announced a delay a few days before that, as it wanted to further improve the port's quality before releasing it.

After announcing the delay, Pocketpair originally set the new release date to February 27, 2025. The company ended up taking more time to publish the press release for the formal launch of the Mac version of Palworld.

The game is available on a Mac that at least has an Apple M1 chip, with a minimum required macOS version of 14.0.0. As with earlier platform releases like Windows PCs, the Mac version s subtitles in Japanese, English, French, Italian, German, Castilian Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Korean, and Chinese (Traditional and Simplified).

Palworld is also available on Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5, in addition to Mac.

Ahead of the Lunar New Year on January 29, 2025, Pocketpair announced there are five free Palworld Pal skins to claim as part of the Spring Festival. These were added alongside other updates in the January 23, 2025 patch.

As is typical of these free Palworld skins, you can only use them if you own the Pal they are tied to. However, you don’t need to do anything special to earn them. They are available to everyone after the update. Just go ahead and go to equip it when you have access to one of them, and you’re set.

Pocketpair announced its future roap for Palworld, which will include a final boss and ending scenario. It also opened up a popularity poll in which you can vote for your favorite Pals in the Palworld. As a note, the implementation of a final boss and ending scenario does not mean that the game will end service in the planned future.

You can read all the details of the roap via the official X (Twitter) for Palworld. To summarize it, though, future updates will bring co-op crossplay, world transfer for Pals, as well as new Pals and technologies. There will also be an in-game collaboration event with Terraria. Other things to expect from the new updates include adjustments, like improvements to world object placement and optimization.

As for the Palworld popularity poll, you can participate in it here. Each person can only vote once. When voting, you can choose as many Pals and faction leader as you want. However, right before you submit the poll, it’ll ask you to narrow it down to three. These three Pals or faction leaders are the ones that’ll ultimately count in the Palworld popularity poll. There’s also a section in which you can fill out your demographic information, as well as send Pocketpair any or requests you have.

Palworld is available on the PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Windows PC. A macOS version of it will come out on February 7, 2025.

The Palworld Feybreak update is live and added a new region, new Pals, new buildings, and tons of other additions and changes to the early access game, and the official patch notes are live to go over everything. The update also marks the debut of new crossover content. While the Terraria collaboration Pal isn’t live in Palworld, a weapon is.

The Palworld Feybreak region and characters are the biggest additions. New Pals are available to catch, including stronger than usual Predator Pals that roam new and old areas. The new raid is Xenolord, which is found at the new island. You’ll also be able to face Feybreak Warriors and go after bounties after the update.

Some of the new buildings and strongholds came up too. There will be Barge and Platform Oil Rigs to visit, with an Attack Chopper there to face. You can set up an Expedition Station or Research Laboratory now. There will also be new buildings or upgraded forms of existing ones, like an Accumulator, Flea Market, Large-Scale Electric Egg Incubator, Pure Quartz Mine, and Skillfruit Orchard.

As for the first part of the Terraria Palworld crossover, it consists of a sword. While the full crossover will show up in 2025, you can get the weapon now. When swung, it sends off cat projectiles and makes a meowing sound.

Palworld is in early access on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the Feybreak update is now live on all three platforms as of December 22, 2024.

During The Game Awards 2024, Pocketpair announced the release date for the new Palworld: Feybreak update with a new, massive island. The new update brings the new region to the game on December 23, 2024.

The cinematic reveal trailer lasts roughly a minute and a half, and it offers a brief look at some of the gameplay in the new update at the end. This means we get to see quite a few new Pals and locales as well.

The new update was announced back in late November 2024 and Pocketpair confirmed that it would bring its "largest, harshest, and most mysterious new island" to the game sometime on December 2024, roughly 6 times the size of Sakurajima. Additionally, Palworld will receive a crossover with Terraria sometime in 2025. We don't know what kinds of Pals will appear. However, in past Terraria updates with other games like Moonstone Island, its signature slime monster ended up showing up.

Palworld is readily available in Early Access on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC. The new Palworld: Feybreak update will arrive on December 23, 2024. Pocketpair will also release a Mac version on February 27, 2025.

Pocketpair has announced that it will release a new major update patch for Palworld in December 2024. This update will add a new mysterious large island that players can explore.

The company noted that the new island will be around six times the size of Sakurajima, which it added in the June 2024 update. Screenshots for the new island include a yellow area with a golden stag beetle-like Pal and a crystal cave.

In the same announcement tweet, Pocketpair also revealed that it is holding a 25% discount for Palworld. The PC version on Steam also coincides with the Steam Autumn Sale, which is running until December 4, 2024.

Pocketpair is still having a multitude of Palworld content updates despite an ongoing lawsuit filed by The Pokemon Company and Nintendo in September 2024. The company has also announced new crossover content from Re-Logic's Terraria, which will appear in 2025.

Some sort of Palworld crossover is on the way. Pocketpair announced a collaboration with another game. Exact details about how it will work are slim, but Palworld and Terraria will come together in some way in 2025.

There’s only a teaser image for the Palworld Terraria crossover at the moment. It doesn’t offer any details about how it will work. It is unknown if this means Pals and types of inspired equipment could show up in Terraria. Or, perhaps it might mean some Terraria monsters and equipment could appear in Pocketpair’s title. The teaser image shows a Terraria warrior and bunny on one side. On the other is a Palworld avatar with the Cattiva, Chillet, and Depresso Pals.

It isn’t uncommon for elements of Terraria to show up in other games. For example, Moonstone Island features a crossover with the game. You can get the Coolslime in it. Stardew Valley also featured similar crossovers, with Joja Cola being in Terraria and the Meowmere Sword in Stardew Valley. 

Palworld is in early access on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the actively updated versions of Terraria are available on the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices. The crossover between the two games will appear in 2025.

Pocketpair announced that it has delayed the Mac release of Palworld. The game, which was originally scheduled for November 26, 2024, will now be available on Thursday, February 27, 2025. The company noted that it wants to release the Mac version with better quality as a reason for the delay.

The Mac version is slated to make the full potential of a natively run game with the optimizations of Metal and Unreal Engine 5. It will also HDR and MetalFX Upscaling. The game will be purchasable with a price tag of ¥3,400 in the Japanese store or $29.99 in the American store.

Palworld has been available on numerous platforms—namely Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Windows PCs. However, its overall existence may be in jeopardy. This is because Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have sued Pocketpair for alleged infringements of patents from the Switch-exclusive title Pokemon Legends: Arceus. The companies are demanding an injunction of Palworld in addition to damage reparation payments caused by the infringements.

The Mac version of Palworld will be available for purchase on February 27, 2025. The game is readily available for Windows PCs via Steam and Microsoft Store, as well as Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
