Converse announced it will sell a line of Naruto Shippuden merchandise and Chucks, which includes a Chuck Taylor All Star line inspired by characters, shirts, a jacket, and a bag. These will be limited edition items, and there will be nine Converse by You styles. Everything launches at 7am PT/10am ET on May 22, 2025.  

When it comes to the standard high top Chucks, there are four adult “men’s” styles for $80 and two kids styles for $55. The adult sizes include a pale magma shoe with black and egret accents based on Naruto, a fossilized and vintage white Sasuke style, a ritual red, natural ivory, and black Gaara shoe, and a barely grey and dark waters Kakashi variant. The children’s easy-on styles are based on Naruto and Sasuke, and they look similar to the four adult options. Only one mid top is available, and that’s a black, red, and moonbathe Itachi design for $130.

As for the Converse by You Naruto Shippuden part of this Chuck Taylor All Star line, all of the shoes there are $95 each to start. (Extra comfort upgrades are available.) While the other options featured set color schemes and icons tied to characters, most of these designs feature actual character portraits on the shoes.

A unisex white t-shirt with the series’ logo and Naruto on the back is $35. The other t-shirt with Sasuke on the back and his symbol on the front is $40. The women’s baby doll style design is $35 and has Sakura on the front.

The 34th JUMPMV music video will feature “Lovers” from Naruto Shippuden. It will premiere on YouTube at 7pm JST on March 28, 2025 (3am PDT/6am EDT).

“Lovers” is a song by 7!! (Seven Oops). It was the ninth opening for the Naruto Shippuden anime, running from episodes 206 to 230. You can listen to it here:

In the thumbnail for the music video, we can see an image of Sakura from the manga. According to the video description, the video will also heavily focus on her, as well as the rest of Team 7. Coincidentally or not, March 28th is also Sakura’s birthday.

The Shonen Jump channel on YouTube started ing its JUMPMV almost exactly two years ago on March 27, 2023. Naruto was one of the first manga series it made a video on, and the first one used Asian Kung-Fu Generation’s “Haruka Kanata.” Another one that came out around that time used DOES’s “Shura” for a Gintama video. Since then, Shueisha has released these videos for several other popular manga series, such as Bleach and Jujutsu Kaisen, at a pretty frequent rate.

Naruto Shippuden is readily available on streaming platforms such as Crunchyroll, and Viz Media licensed the manga for an English release.

At Jump Festa 2025, MegaHouse displayed a life-size figure of Kakashi Hatake from Naruto Shippuden. The 1:1 statue’s design was based on the GEM Series Palm-size version of the character set to debut in 2025. 

This version of Kakashi was designated as a photo spot. He was posed at a kotatsu, and MegaHouse posed other figures from the series on top of the table. For example, in the one social media promotional image, a Look Up Naruto figure appeared there. In the actual photo spot image, the company had cups, oranges, and Nyaruto cats based on Naruto and Kakashi there.

While the 1:1, life-size Kakashi Hatake figure was on display, the palm-size version of the Naruto Shippuden is available to purchase and will launch worldwide. It will debut in Japan in late February 2025 for 7,920円 (~$50). AmiAmi, which ships worldwide, has a listing up for it for 6,730円 (~$43). 

The GEM Series Palm-size Kakashi Hatake Naruto Shippuden figure will ship in February 2025, and it will be available worldwide. The Naruto and Boruto anime series are streaming on Crunchyroll, while Viz Media handles the manga series outside of Japan.

A new Naruto Shippuden figure is on the way from Good Smile Company, as a Shisui Uchiha Nendoroid is in the works. He will cost ￥6,200 in Japan and launch in September 2024, while the US storefront says it is $37.99 and will launch worldwide in Q1 2025.

Shisui only comes with two face plates. This is unusual, as most include three. One features him with a stoic expression and his eyes open. The other features both eyes closed and bleeding. He also can be equipped with a kunai and wear a sheathed sword. Various arm parts included, including one of his hand holding the very important object he entrusted to Itachi. 

Here’s the full gallery showing the photos of the Nendoroid Good Smile Company shared with us. The final shot displays Shisui with the Anbu version of the Itachi Nendoroid to recreate the major scene between the two from the series.

Good Smile Company is also offering a special stand with the Mangekyou Sharingan on it.

The Naruto Shippuden Shisui Uchiha Nendoroid will come to Japan in September 2024, with a worldwide release of the figure coming in Q1 2025. Pre-orders are open until May 29, 2024. Naruto and Boruto are streaming on Crunchyroll, while Viz Media handles the manga releases outside Japan. Uniqlo also recently added a new collection of shirts based on the series.

Uniqlo is now selling Naruto Shippuden shirts and sweatshirts in-store and online. There are 10 products total, with all being unisex styles in adult sizes.

Six of the new Uniqlo options are t-shirts. These are $24.90 each and appear in sizes XXS through XXXL. Some of the featured characters here are Naruto, Itachi, Naruto’s parents, Akatsuki, and Kurama. Almost every shirt has designs on the front and back, with the beige Naruto and red Akatsuki ones being the only exceptions.

Here is how the Naruto shirts look. In the case of shirts with designs on the front and back, the larger design is across the back.

With the sweatshirts, they cost $39.90 and also appear in XXS through XXXL. The Akatsuki and Kurama designs here are both different versions of the ones available in the t-shirts section, while there are two other Itachi and Naruto ones. The beige Naruto and white Kurama ones feature designs on the front and back.

It’s been a while since we’d seen some Naruto shirts at Uniqlo, and the last batch included references to the original series, Shippuden, and Boruto. Those appeared in June 2023. So far in 2024, we’ve seen Chiikawa and Sanrio, Metal Gear, and Capcom shirts there.

Ever since its debut in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1999, Naruto has grown into a worldwide phenomenon. With its popular Shippuden anime adaptation and spin-off series consisting of decades of material, we wanted to discuss who we think is the best Naruto character in the entire franchise.

I feel like Gaara is such a cop-out answer because who doesn't like Gaara? But no matter how I rack my brain, I can't really think of a Naruto character I legitimately like more than him (I like Itachi too, but I feel like Itachi is also everyone's favorite). His character arc was really intriguing, his character design after the time skip was super nice, and Ishida Akira knocked it out of the park with his performance. My only complaint about Gaara is that I don't like to play as him in the Naruto games. — Stephanie 

I adore Kakashi and think he’s the best Naruto character. He’s a good teacher who cares about his students but isn’t above being a little silly and childish sometimes. Which is especially appreciated, seeing he can have those moments considering his past. I want only the best for him and all his dogs. — Jenni

Maybe not the most conventional answer, but my favorite character in Naruto is Hinata Hyuga. While the series has many great arcs, I really related to her journey from starting out as a shy person to becoming an absolute warrior. Considering she could only speak a few words when Naruto is first introduced to her, it's just incredible to see her fight alongside him as the series progresses. I think many people can relate to her story of being timid due to wanting to please others. That is why I found it so satisfying when she eventually finds her voice and becomes a formidable foe who can stand by Naruto's side. — Brent

Megahobby is bringing back the Naruto Gals DX Hinata Hyuga version 3 figure. The figure depicts the character using her signature Byakugan and her Gentle Step Twin Lion Fists technique. The figure costs 27,500 JPY (or about $192), and it is set to release on February 2024 in Japan. Pre-orders will be available on August 4, 2023 from the Bandai online store. We will likely see it worldwide after.

This figure of Hinata stands at 13 inches (or 35 cm) tall, and it features the character in her Naruto Shippuden appearance. More specifically, the figure depicts Hinata using her Gentle Step Twin Lion Fists technique, one of the high-level secret techniques taught to of the Hyuga Clan.

Additionally, Hinata looks like she is floating in the figure, as the Gentle Step effects the character in the air. The base includes carefully modeled rubble and clouds of dust.

Previous Megahobby figures in the Naruto Gals series include figures of Temari and Tenten. These figures were originally revealed as prototypes back on June 2022.

Bandai Namco will release two new Naruto Shippuden figures of Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha in their 20th Anniversary special costumes. The figures will appear in select arcades and other amusement facilities throughout Japan from July 20, 2023 as prizes. The figures are roughly 16 cm or 6.3 inches tall, and they are part of Banpresto’s Bandai Spirits line of merchandise. [Thanks, Dengeki Hobby!]

Naruto’s kimono is decorated with a pattern inspired by one of his signature moves, the Rasengan, and his mask is also inspired by the Nine-Tails beast Kurama. Meanwhile, the Sasuke figure wears a mask inspired by Susanoo, the ultimate technique of the Uchiha Clan which is only available to those who have mastered the Mangekyo Sharingan in both eyes. Additionally, Animate fair will offer new Naruto merchandise for the anime series’ 20th Anniversary, and it includes a variety of beloved characters dressed in Japanese clothing.

The new Naruto Shippuden figures of Naruto and Sasuke wearing the 20th anniversary special costumes will appear as prices in select amusement facilities throughout Japan from July 20, 2023.

As part of its Anime Expo 2023 announcements, Viz Media offered updates on the Naruto Shippuden Blu-ray set and the Narutop99 Minato one-shot manga. The former's first set is going to appear outside Japan on October 17, 2023. The latter will show up on July 18, 2023. Viz Media confirmed it will appear everywhere.

There will be two ways to get the first Naruto Shippuden set of episodes. It will be available physically on Blu-ray. It will also be sold digitally. Viz didn’t note how many episodes will be included in Set 1. It did show a trailer for it though.

After training on the road with Jiraiya of the Sannin, Naruto is back in the Village Hidden in the Leaves, and he’s ready to show off his new skills!

As for the Naruto Minato one-shot, the announcement confirmed a simultaneous worldwide release. Viz Media specifically cited Shonen Jump will be a source, so it seems people will be able to read it in its new app. Typically, these chapters also appear online on the company's official site as well, so we could see that happen as well.

Naruto Shippuden Set 1 will appear on Blu-ray and digitally on October 17, 2023. The Naruto and Boruto anime can be found on Crunchyroll, while Viz Media handles the manga localizations.

Good Smile Company revealed a new Nendoroid based on Madara Uchiha from Naruto Shippuden. This figure comes with various weapons and different faces for the Sharingan and Rinnegan eyes. It will cost ¥7,500 for buyers in Japan, with a release date set for September 2023. People in North America can pre-order it for $53.99, and it will start shipping there in Q4 2023.

This new Nendoroid from the Naruto series presents one of the Konohagakure founders with three different face plates. One features the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan looking just like when he obtained it. The other two show the Sharingan and Rinnegan eyes after being called back with the Edo Tensei.

As for the accessories, Madara will come with his Gunbai fan and scythe to recreate his iconic fighting look. There’s also a special round base with the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan design as a bonus for people pre-ordering from the Good Smile Online Shop.

The voting for Narutop 99, the Naruto 20th Anniversary Character Popularity Poll, ended. While the overall results are being counted, the official Naruto website opened another special poll allowing fans to decide the Naruto series' best battles.

The campaign, which called "Naruto Best Bout," will run from March 13-24, 2023. The voting page lists a number of the most iconic duels across the Naruto and Naruto Shippuden anime series. It doesn't appear to include any anime-original fights and also seems to be largely focused on one-on-one duels, with one exception.
