It's official! The North American version of Muramasa: The Demon Blade will come with the wall scroll Japanese gamers got for everyone who pre-orders the game.
"For Muramasa we decided to stick with the original Japanese voices and only localize the text," Shane Bettenhausen, Business Development Director at Ignition, told Siliconera in a post E3 phone interview.
With all the positive buzz, Muramasa: The Demon Blade is going to be a surefire hit for whoever publishes the game. Unfortunately for Xseed, they aren’t handling Muramasa anymore. At E3 I asked how Xseed felt about losing the game.
Xseed was supposed to publish Muramasa: The Demon Blade, but now Ignition is handling the duties. The sudden publisher switch was unexpected. What happened? During E3 I set out to find out.
No, it’s not Xseed. While XSEED was scheduled to localize and publish the game in the U.S. until a few weeks ago, this is no longer the case. A press release confirmed that Muramasa: The Demon Blade will be published…
I’ve been playing Muramasa: The Demon Blade as “Princess” Momohime. I put “Princess” in quotes because Momohime is more than meets the eye. She is a furious fighter, a good thing because Muramasa: The Demon Blade is action packed.
