Bandai Lifestyle will release new Chara Pita face masks featuring mobile suits from Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Freedom, characters from Naruto, and cats from mofusand. They’ll cost 660 JPY ($4.50) each. So far, they are only confirmed to appear in Japan. However, it might be possible to import them or find them at some specialty skincare stores eventually.

The Chara Pita collection of facial masks have prints on them that lets you look like a character. According to the website, it’s a way to bring you joy while you’re rejuvenating your skin. The collection will include Kira’s Mighty Strike Freedom and Athrun’s Z’Gok from Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Freedom, Naruto and Kakashi from Naruto, and a collection of kitty cat faces from mofusand. As a note, the mofusand face mask will have additional parts near your forehead to resemble cat ears.

The Mobile Suit Gundam Freedom Chara Pita face masks will come out on April 28, 2025. While the Naruto ones will also appear on that date, Don Quijote stores around the country will stock that collection of masks early. You can go find them starting on April 14, 2025, if you happen to be in Japan and around one of those stores. The same goes for the mofusand face mask design.

Bandai Lifestyle is a specific line from Bandai that focuses on items you can use in your everyday life, such as cosmetics and skincare. In April 2024, it teamed up with Nintendo to release a make-up collection line starring Princess Peach. This collection had three different items: a face mask, a lip gloss, and eyeshadow.

The Gundam, Naruto, and mofusand Chara Pita masks from Bandai Lifestyle will come out in Japan in April 2025. There's no word about a worldwide release for any of them yet.

Uniqlo will start selling a new collection of children’s clothing featuring the cats from mofusand. You’ll be able to purchase them starting in early April 2025.

The new mofusand T-shirts line from Uniqlo feature the cats wearing various sandwiches and breads on their heads. One of the designs sees a cat inside a burger as well. All of the T-shirts cost 990 JPY ($6.40) and they’re all for children. While the English Uniqlo website doesn’t have these new mofusand designs yet, stores outside of Japan will likely stock them as well. The other ongoing mofusand collections also have clothes for adults, if you’re not a child but sitll want a mofusand shirt.

Mofusand is a popular brand in Japan featuring cute cats wearing and doing cute things. Lots of different goods and items are available with these designs on them. For example, you can get kitchen necessities, stationery, collectibles, and even a tissue cover specifically to hang from your car seat. Some companies and IPs have collaborated with this brand in the past. For example, mofusand Monster Hunter merchandise appeared in May 2022, while a Sanrio collaboration took place in May 2024.

The mofusand children’s shirts from Uniqlo will appear in Japanese stores from early April 2025.

Sanrio and mofusand collaboration keychains are now available in gacha machines around Japan. They feature the mofusand cats wearing outfits that resemble Sanrio mascots’.

Each attempt will cost 400 JPY (around $2.60). In total, there are five variations of keychains to get. You can get one of Hello Kitty, My Melody, Hangyodon, Kuromi, and Pekkle. Of these ones, only Hello Kitty’s mofusand cat doesn’t look like a cat wearing an outfit. Instead, it looks like a chubby white cat wearing overalls. All of the cats are also holding and eating various fruits.

Mofusand is a brand similar to Sanrio, in which it features cute animals on everyday items like USB cords, memo pads, and other accessories. While Sanrio’s characters usually have a fairly simple design, mofusand’s art style is a little more realistic. In the past, the company also worked with properties like Monster Hunter and with brands like Nayuki.

While this collaboration does not seem to be a commemoration of any kind, Sanrio is currently selling many Hello Kitty-focused products due to 2024 being her 50th anniversary. Goods include snow globes and gold figures. Those in Japan can also visit Puroland until the end of the year in order to participate in celebratory events.

The Sanrio and mofusand collaboration keychains are readily available in gacha machines around Japan.

Capcom is now selling Monster Hunter Mofusand merchandise. Mofusand is a series from the illustrator Juno, which consists of pictures of fluffy cats. The crossover items feature said fluffy cats wearing outfits that make them look like various creatures from the Monster Hunter series.

As the mofusand products consist of daily necessities and small items, the Monster Hunter merchandise falls into those categories as well. There will be a total of eleven items you can get, all with cats cosplaying as monsters on them.

These items will appear in the Capcom Store pop-up shops in Sendai from May 27, 2022 to June 12, 2022. After that, they will become available in the Sapporo one from June 18-26, 2022. Additionally, they will be in the permanent Capcom Stores. The website does not indicate when they will leave the stores. This implies that these items may be permanent fixtures.

The Monster Hunter and mofusand merchandise has started to appear in Capcom stores around Japan. Overseas customers can also purchase them via Parco.
