Good Smile Company and miHoYo announced the release of a new Nendoroid figure of Dr Ratio from Honkai: Star Rail. The figure costs 349 yuan (or about $48.44), and it is expected to release first in China on December 2025. At the moment, there is no information regarding a release date for other regions, though past ones like Aventurine and March 7th appeared worldwide.

The Dr Ratio Nendoroid figure is approximately 100mm (or about 3,94 inches) tall and is articulated. The figure comes with three different faces plates, as is common with Nendoroids. These will be a standard smiling face, a thinking face, and a closed-eyes face plate. In addition to the faces, the figure comes with 4 other parts, including his signature Book of Truth, a rubber duck, a pistol, and a bathtub. The bathtub pose appears on a Light Cone in-game.

Furthermore, a special acrylic stand will be added with the Chinese release. It’s still unclear if the stand or a different bonus will be included once the global release of the figure is announced.

As a reminder, the Honkai: Star Rail Nendoroids figures of Robin and Sunday are expected to release on August 2025, and an Aventurine Nendoroid was recently announced and it will be coming out in Japan on February 2026 and in North America sometime in Q3 2026.

INFOLENSE GEEK SHOP is set to release a Genshin Impact Statue of the Seven figure. The design is based off how the Statue of the Seven statues appear in Mondstadt. Outside of being a replica, it is also capable of lightning up. It will cost 9,020 yen or around $62. It is expected to release sometime in July 2025. Pre-orders are now open.

The statue is powered by three AAA batteries, which consumers will have to purchase on their own. Alternatively, they can connect it to a power source through a USB cable. However, it cannot be charged this way. If consumers want to use this product without a charging cable, they will need to use batteries.

As mentioned previously, the figure is modeled after the Statue of Seven as they appear in the Mondstadt region. Which means the statute takes the form of the Anemo Archon Venti. Kadokawa has revealed that it will publish the Japanese version of the French Genshin Impact Official Cookbook. The book will be available in Japan on April 18, 2025. It will cost 3,850 yen (~$25.95). It will appear there under the title Genshin Recipe Book: Teyvat Gourmet Journal."

The company has confirmed that this book will feature translations from the cookbook originally written by Thibaud Villanova in French, which was published in 2024. The 192-page book contains 60 recipes from Teyvat, with 15 each from the first four regions. These are Mondstadt, Sumeru, the China-themed Liyue, and the Japan-themed Inazuma.

The same book will also be available in English, courtesy of Titan Books. The latter will be available worldwide at $39.99 / £29.99, and pre-orders are also available on web stores like Amazon. However, people who want to read the book in English will have to wait much longer, as it will only be available in September 2025.

The Genshin Impact Official Cookbook is readily available in French, and the Japanese version of the same book will appear on April 18, 2025. The global English release will follow later in September 2025. The book's content is inspired by miHoYo's globally popular video game available on PC, iOS, Android, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

HoYoVerse is releasing more Twitch drops for Zenless Zone Zero. The drops are available now up to April 8, 2025. Earning them works the same as usual, so those of us who've collected these types of rewards will be able to immediately start watching streams for the bonuses. The best one this time around involves free Polychromes.

As usual, the new Twitch drops require you to watch Zenless Zone Zero livestreams on the streaming service after linking your HoYoVerse and Twitch s. The linking process can be completed via the official web page. Simply sign into both s and they’ll be linked, allowing you to gain rewards by watching streams of the game.

The Twitch drops event has started just in time for the release of Zenless Zone Zero 1.6, which brings a new S-Rank variant of Anby to the game. A new story update also sheds light on her past, which has been kept deliberately vague up to this point. However, the new update has also attracted controversy, with the English voice actors for Von Lycaon and Soldier 11 both being replaced.

Controller is coming to the Android version of Genshin Impact as part of version 5.5. This is part of several quality-of-life improvements being added to the game with the latest update. This comes almost five years after its September 2020 debut.

Once 5.5 lands, Android players will finally be able to connect a PlayStation or Xbox controller via Bluetooth to play Genshin Impact on their devices. The game will the PS5 DualSense, the PS4’s DualShock 4, the Xbox Wireless Controller and the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. The PlayStation controllers will require s to have Android 12.0 or above installed on their device. Xbox controllers will only require Android 9.0 or above.

As well as controller for Android, Genshin Impact 5.5 will add a number of other quality-of-life features. Map tracking will become easier, as it will teleport you to the correct map for the quest you’re heading towards. A new Path of Challenge feature will also make it easier to track boss locations. Other features include batch exchanges at the Serenitea Pot’s Realm Depot and a search function for the Gift Mail Box.

Genshin Impact 5.5 is the next update for the game. While details about the update are still being slowly released, we do know who the new characters will be. Iansan and Varesa are both from the Natlan Collective of Plenty tribe and will be new Electro characters.

Genshin Impact is out now for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S and mobile devices. The release date for version 5.5 has yet to be announced.

Apex-Toys' Genshin Impact Yae Miko - Astute Amusement figure will also be available worldwide outside China. Tokyo Figure has opened pre-orders for the figure in Japan with a price tag of 25,080 yen. The Japanese web store can also ship the figure internationally via the WorldShopping widget, which converts the price to around $167.35.

This figure set will have a scale of 1/7 and an overall height of around 28 cm (~11 inches), which is measured from the bottom base. The figure will depict Yae Miko in the default Miko's Instruction outfit with her Wish illustration pose. In the original game, the Wish banner featuring Yae Miko appeared for the first time in February 2022.

Every order of the figure will come with an Omamori charm themed after the Grand Narukami Shrine. The first-batch releases will further include an exclusive 5.1 cm (2 inches) long PVC figure of Yae Miko in her Divina Vulpes vixen form.

Tokyo Figure notes that a customer can only order up to three copies of the same figure. In addition, it will first import the figures from China, so there may be some scratches or chipped edges during the shipping process. The Japanese web store thus discourages people who want to have their figures and packages in guaranteed pristine conditions from making orders.

The Hello Cycling bicycle rental app will hold a collaboration event with Genshin Impact in Japan. Special themed bicycles will appear in some Japanese cities and the campaign will be held between February 1 and March 31, 2025.

As part of the event, electric bicycle models featuring motifs of characters from the Natlan region of Genshin Impact will appear. These include Mualani, Kinich, Xilonen, and Chasca electric bike models, which will only be available in Tokyo. Meanwhile, regular bicycle models in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya will feature minor Genshin Impact decoration as well.

Approximately 10,000 Hello Cycling stations will be included as part of two nationwide rankings in the months of February and March 2025, where the stations visited per will be tallied and the top 20 participants will receive original goods. These include a t-shirt, bottle, towel, and Hello Cycling coupons. Meanwhile, the top 3 participants will receive 1,000 Primogems and a higher Hello Cycling coupon.

Additionally, Hello Cycling s participating in the campaign will receive a code to obtain in-game items on Genshin Impact, including 40 Primogems, 4 Mystic Enhancement Ore, 2 Hero's Wit, and 20,000 Mora. Furthermore, original goods of Mualani, Kinich, Xilonen, and Chasca featuring their designs from the event will be sold. These include pin badges for 440 yen (~$2.83) and acrylic stand keychains for 660 yen (~$4.24.)

Apex-Toys has revealed a new 1/7 scale figure modeled after the Honkai: Star Rail character Kafka. The Shanghai-based company will open pre-orders for the figure first in China, and other countries and territories may follow suit shortly after. [Thanks, Hobby Watch!]

This figure will depict Kafka in her regular attire as she normally appears in the game, which is readily available worldwide on PlayStation 5, PC, Android, and iOS. The figure set will also have the Stellaron Hunter wield her crimson-colored sword, with thorn effects gushing up from the set's base.

The new figure will add another entry to the ever-growing list of merchandise featuring Kafka. miHoYo's Taobao storefront has also revealed another Kafka figure slated for release in May 2025, but that one would depict her in an evening gown while playing violin, and the scale is also smaller at 1/8. The game's publisher company also revealed new chibi figures featuring the same character along with Blade in June 2024.

The official miHoYo TMall has opened up pre-orders for figures that look like plush dolls of Sparkle and Pom-Pom from Honkai: Star Rail. These figures are part of the Huggy Good Smile line, so they’ll likely appear on Good Smile Company for Japanese and North American customers in the future. [Thanks, heiankyo_327!]

The Sparkle plush figure uses the design from the game. Meanwhile, the Pom-Pom plush figure is wearing their default conductor’s uniform, and they look happy with stars in their eyes. Both plushes cost 89 CNY ($12.25) each, and they’ll ship out in July 2025. Like other Huggy Good Smile figures, you can move the arms up and down to pose them, and there’s a magnet at the back of the head. In Pom-Pom’s case, the ears, not the arms, move.

Size-wise, the Sparkle plush is about 65 millimeters tall. Meanwhile, the Pom-Pom is about 80 millimeters tall. You can pose them on a shelf, or hang them from a refrigerator or other metallic surface using the magnet.

Honkai: Star Rail recently started Version 3.0, which introduces a new world to explore and new characters to meet. The new character on banner right now is The Herta, who is the 5-star version of the Herta we met at the beginning of the game. Other 5-stars available for a limited time are Jade, Lingsha, and Feixiao. You can also permanently get the Remembrance Trailblazer via the story.

Bandai Spirits has shared new sample images for its SH Figuarts of SAM from Honkai: Star Rail. After initially revealing the project in June 2024, the company has completed a prototype of the new action figure.

The prototype's sample images indicate that the new action figure will also SAM's Complete Combustion state. The owner will be able to adjust the shoulders to attach the combustion effects. In addition, Bandai Spirits will provide an alternate head part and extra wings and swords to completely emulate the Complete Combustion appearance in the action figure's package.

The Fyrefly Type-IV Strategic Assault Mech and its owner Firefly have been subject to a number of collaborative merchandise in recent months. In June 2024—the same month Bandai Spirits announced SAM's SH Figuarts—Good Smile Company revealed a plan to produce a scale figure of Firefly. Both characters also appeared in a physical event at Animate Cafe Gratte outlets across Japan from late July 2024 until early September 2024.

Bandai Spirits will publish more information about the Honkai: Star Rail SAM SH Figuarts, including the pre-order and release windows, on December 24, 2024. This new action figure will depict Firefly's Strategic Assault Mech that appeared in the HoYoVerse game that has been readily available worldwide on PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and mobile devices.

Genda GiGO Entertainment has announced two collaboration events with renowned IPs that will run throughout the 2024-2025 holiday season. The company will hold events featuring The Quintessential Quintuplets and Genshin Impact at GiGO arcade centers across Japan.

The Quintessential Quintuplets event will run first in collaboration with Bushiroad on November 30, 2024. The companies will place five new scale figures featuring each of the Nakano quintuplets (Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba, and Itsuki) as crane game prizes. For every 500 yen spent on the crane game, people can receive one of the six anime illustration cards at random while supplies last.

GiGO will also work with miHoYo to gradually release Genshin Impact merchandise in its crane games starting from December 7, 2024. The items will range from acrylic stands to drink tumblers featuring multiple characters, with a specific focus on Wriothesley, Clorinde, Charlotte, and Sigewinne.

The arcade center will hand over a random free novelty item for people who spend 500 yen on the crane games, just like the above Quintessential Quintuplets event. However, the Genshin Impact event will also feature character-branded taiyaki cakes and drinks with bonus coaster mats featuring the game's characters in a similar fashion to Atlus' Persona series.

The Quintessential Quintuplets character figure campaign will launch first in GiGO arcade centers across Japan from November 30 until December 29, 2024. The Genshin Impact collaboration event will follow suit from December 7, 2024, until January 26, 2025.

The miHoYo flagship store on TMall will release apparel that draw inspiration from Acheron of Honkai: Star Rail. There will also be a set of keycaps available, using her color scheme and image.

The items draw from Acheron’s silhouette, such as how the skirt looks short from the front but long in the back. Accessories also have a sharp contrast between silver and red, much like how Acheron looks when she uses her Ultimate in the game. Items available as part of this collection include:

• Bracelet
• Choker
• Half-skirt
• Handbag
• Jacket
• Keycaps
• Long-sleeved T-shirt
• Umbrella

All of the items are available for pre-order on October 31, 2024. When they arrive will depend on what you get. For example, the bags should reach your house some time in mid-December 2024. Meanwhile, the bracelet will be there in early December 2024.

Most of the s don’t seem too happy with the designs. The top comments on the official Weibo announcement are “I’m going to out; these clothes are too ugly” and “I can’t believe you had the nerve to these designs.” Others pointed out the lack of any of Acheron’s symbols, such as the red flowers that appear in her splash art and Ultimate, in the outfits. While the flowers do appear on the accessories, they’re not on the clothes themselves. The lack of enthusiasm in the designs is similar to when HoYoVerse unveiled the Zhongli-inspired apparel for Genshin Impact.

Apex-Toys and miHoYo announced the release of a new 1/7 scale figure of Billy Kid from Zenless Zone Zero. The figure costs 899 Chinese yuan (or approximately $126.25) and its release date is set for China on October 2025.

Pre-orders for the new Billy Kid figure open on October 31, 2024 from the miHoYo official store. The figure depicts Billy Kid holding a gun on his left hand, with his right hand resting on his belt, striking a pose. Additionally, his eyes can be seen glowing yellow through his visor. Furthermore, a base is included with the figure, and it features the line "Welcome to New Eridu, where humanity rises anew!"

As a reminder, Apex-Toys announced the release of Zenless Zone Zero figures of Anby, Nicole, and Nekomata alongside the announcement of the Billy figure back in July 2024, as part of Bilibili World 2024.

Of particular controversy in the Weibo comments is the pajama set, which costs 499 CNY. Many netizens are commenting on how expensive it is, with some stating that the quality of the velvet surely isn’t worth the price. Someone else also pointed out the slippers (the normal ones) resemble shoes that prisoners would wear in a period drama.

As a note, there is an ongoing Kazuha campaign in which you can purchase apparel and other items that draw inspiration from him. It will end on September 27, 2024 for make way for the Zhongli items. During this time, you can get items like a hat, scarf, umbrella, and jacket that carry his color scheme or motifs. A minimum of 200 CNY in a transaction can net you a pin, whereas 600 CNY can get you a pin and a hair tie.
