Good Smile Company started pre-orders for the next new Fire Emblem: Three Houses figure, which is a figma of the female version of Byleth. She’ll debut in June 2026 in Japan, followed by a worldwide release. This one costs ¥12,800/$90.99.

As this is a figma, Byleth will be about six inches tall, be fully articulated. She will come with accessories from Fire Emblem: Three Houses. There will be three face plates representing a neutral expression, a smiling one, and one in which she is angrily shouting. She comes with one weapon, which is the Sword of the Creator, though there is also an additional effect part to show the fiery whip form of it. Multiple pairs of hands are also included for different poses.

Here’s how the Fire Emblem: Three Houses Byleth figma will look when it debuts next year.

We’ve seen quite a few Fire Emblem Byleth figures from Good Smile Company, and they represent both the male and female avatars. For example, Pop Up Parade versions of each one showed up in the more affordable, static, non-scale line.

The Fire Emblem: Three Houses female Byleth figma will launch in Japan in June 2026, with a worldwide release following after that. Pre-orders are open until July 9, 2025. Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes are both available on the Switch worldwide.

Sonic Plush Pair Up Shadow the Hedgehog and Maria Robotnik

Kidrobot announced that it will release a new pair of Sonic the Hedgehog series plush that pairs up Shadow with Maria Robotnik. The duo is expected to debut in Q4 2025. The official site already opened pre-orders, and the set costs $34.99.

While we’ve seen multiple incarnations of Shadow the Hedgehog and Maria Robotnik, the appearances of the two plush are designed to resemble them from the recent release Sonic x Shadow Generations. Each one of them is seven and a half inches tall. They can be displayed separately or together, as they aren’t connected. However, Kidrobot noted that Shadow’s left hand and Maria’s right hand both have magnets inside of them. So if you do place them next to each other, they can hold hands in a nod to a scene that’s appeared in both games and the third live-action movie.

Here’s a closer look at both stuffed toys from different angles. Kidrobot also shared a close-up of their hands, so we can better understand how the magnets work.

The Sonic the Hedgehog Shadow and Maria Robotnik plush will launch in Q4 2025. Sonic x Shadow Generations is available on the Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, and it will come to the Switch 2 on June 5, 2025.

Uniqlo Pokemon Trading Card Game Shirts Arrive in August

Uniqlo announced it will sell shirts based on Pokemon Trading Card Game and Pokemon TCG Pocket, with both adult and kids styles appearing in August 2025. The official Japanese site updated showing the nine men’s designs, which are unisex items, and the eight kids options.

The adult Uniqlo Pokemon Trading Card Game and TCG Pocket designs are divided into five t-shirts and four sweatshirts. In each case, they’ll be available in sizes XS (extra small) through XXXXL. Each shirt is ¥1,500 (~$11), and the sweatshirts are ¥2,990 (~$21). Designs feature characters like Gardevoir, Gengar, Kabuto, Magikarp, Mewtwo Omanyte, Pikachu, Slowpoke, Snorlax, Unown. In the case of the Gardevoir shirt and the Gengar and Mewtwo sweatshirts, the design is on the back.

Here’s how all of those look:

As for the kids styles, there are four t-shirts and four sweatshirts. They can be found in children’s sizes 3-4y (100) to 13y (160). The shirts cost ¥990 (~$7) each, while the sweatshirts are ¥1,990 (~$14). In some cases, they feature designs similar to the adult options, such as with Pikachu and Mewtwo. However, the Charizard, Eevee, Lucario, Lapras, Mew, and Mimikyu styles are only available in the kids collection.

These are the initial pictures of all eight of them.

The US Uniqlo site isn’t showing any of these new shirts yet. However, it does show some of the other Pokemon Sketch style items already available. Since these types of collections do tend to show up everywhere, it might launch at or around the same time.

The Uniqlo Pokemon Trading Card Game and TCG Pocket shirts will show up in Japan in August 2025. It is unknown when we might start to see the designs appear in-stores and online worldwide. Pokemon TCG Pocket is available on mobile devices.

Two new Dead or Alive figures are in development, with Kaiyodo making DOA 6 Honoka and Marie Rose ones.

Kaiyodo announced some new Dead or Alive 6 figures, and they’ll be based on recurring DOA heroines Honoka and Marie Rose. Both are early in development, as the manufacturer only shared teasers for both on social media. These announcements were in both Japanese and English, so it is likely they are being prepared for a worldwide release. The company often does that, especially with its Revoltech figures.

At the moment, only official images of the characters based on their appearances in Dead or Alive 6 appeared, which suggests each of them will be depicted in their official, default costumes from that installment. The reveal also confirmed these will be 1/7 scale figures. This means they will likely be around 10 inches tall.

Here are the official announcement images for both of the figures.

Some of Kaiyodo’s last Koei Tecmo figures involved Revoltech Ninja Gaiden ones.

One of the last Dead or Alive figures involved the DOA XVV version of Marie Rose based on her appearance in Azur Lane. That is a part of the Koei Tecmo KT Model+ brand. It is only a 1/6 one though. It is expected to release in December 2025.

Dead or Alive 6 is available on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and the Kaiyodo DOA figures based on Honoka and Marie Rose are in development.

SuperGroupies Metaphor: ReFantazio Protagonist Coat Could be Used for Cosplay

SuperGroupies announced a Metaphor: ReFantazio clothing and accessory collection that includes items based on the protagonist, like Will’s coat, and could be used for everyday use or worn as a cosplay item. A Protagonist Model Trench Coat and Shoulder Bag will both be available in “late” November 2025. As a reminder, Super Groupies did note that Trump tariffs will affect prices for those of us in the US, so it is important to keep in mind possible “tariff adjustment charges” before using the worldwide shipping option to purchase any items.

The SuperGroupies Protagonist Model Trench Coat based on the one Will wears throughout Metaphor: ReFantazio is the more expensive of the two items at $299.99, and it is also the one that most resembles the actual jacket that is close enough to the real costume that it could be used for cosplay. It is a double-breasted style with a light white and grey plaid print. There’s a belt at the waist, and there is an optional, removable throat tab designed to resemble the armor at the neck in-game. The interior tag resembles the novel our avatar carries, and there’s a reference to Gallica with a gold silhouette on the inside as well. It is available in sizes medium through XXL. It is also a unisex style, so anyone can wear it.

Here’s a closer look at that coat.

The $239.99 Protagonist Model Shoulder Bag is inspired by the one Will carries throughout Metaphor: ReFantazio. It’s not an exact replica, however. It is about a foot tall and is over 15 inches wide. It comes with a shoulder strap that is about 55 inches long, so you can wear it cross-body. It can hold B4 size papers and books. It also has a tag inside that resembles the novel in the game and matches the tag in the coat.

These are the first photos of it:

This isn’t the only SuperGroupies item that could be used everyday or for cosplay. The Vash coat in the Trigun Stampede collection could be as well.

Pre-orders for the Metaphor: ReFantazio Protagonist Model Trench Coat and Shoulder Bag are open until June 15, 2025, and the items that can be worn everyday or used for cosplay will launch in late November 2025. Metaphor: ReFantazio is available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The manga based on it is running now worldwide.

Cotton Candy Cinnamoroll, Cupcake Kuromi, Chocolate Chip Pochacco, and Donut Pompompurin plush Build-a-Bear Sanrio stuffed animals.

Build-a-Bear announced a new series of Sanrio plush, with stuffed animals of Cotton Candy Cinnamoroll, Cupcake Kuromi, Chocolate Chip Pochacco, and Donut Pompompurin with “sweets” themes based on desserts now available. As a note, one of them is an online-exclusive. You can only get the dressed and undressed versions of Pompompurin through the website. The other three are in-stores and online.

Each of these Sanrio characters features a somewhat standard look for the plush, but there are different accents to each stuffed animal’s fur to make it resemble a candy or pastry in some way. Pochacco is mainly white, as usual, but his ears are sepia toned with dark brown spots instead of plain black. Kuromi is far more pastel than usual, with sprinkles on her cap. Cinnamoroll has a pale pastel pattern all over, instead of being white. Like Pochacco, Pompompurin looks similar to his usual appearance, but his ears have sprinkles and his hat is pink with white icing and sprinkles on top.

Here are the official pages and prices for each of these new plush. The undressed, standard stuffed animals with no accessories are all $38 each, but the dressed versions’ gift set prices vary slightly. In the case of Cinnamoroll, it’s slightly more expensive due to also including a wristie plush for the character to hold.

  • Chocolate Chip Pochacco - $38
  • Chocolate Chip Pochacco - $51.50
  • Cotton Candy Cinnamoroll - $38
  • Cotton Candy Cinnamoroll Gift Set - $58
  • Cupcake Kuromi - $38
  • Cupcake Kuromi - $51.50
  • Donut Pompompurin -  $38
  • Donut Pompompurin Gift Set - $51.50

This is how all of the Sanrio Build-a-Bear sweets line of Cotton Candy Cinnamoroll, Cupcake Kuromi, Chocolate Chip Pochacco, and Donut Pompompurin plush look, with photos of the standard and gift set versions of the stuffed animals all available:

It isn’t uncommon for Build-a-Bear to release collections with different variants of these mascots. It happened for Valentine’s Day 2025, and Kuromi was part of that line too. There was also a Christmas collection in 2024 that also included both Cinnamoroll and Kuromi.

Cotton Candy Cinnamoroll, Cupcake Kuromi, Chocolate Chip Pochacco, and Donut Pompompurin plush are all available via Build-a-Bear, with all of the Sanrio stuffed animals except for Pompompurin being available both in-stores and online.

Demon Slayer Will Appear on Suntory Drinks Like Pepsi, CC Lemon

Suntory announced that characters from Shueisha and Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer will appear on the labels of drinks like Pepsi and CC Lemon in Japan. Things start in the middle of June 2025 and an official site is open, though the crossover campaign and full reveal of additional items comes on June 16, 2025.

Here’s an official photo from social media that showed some of the Demon Slayer Suntory labels on products like Pepsi, CC Lemon, Dekavita C, Natchan, and Pop Melon Soda. In each case, it looks like there are two variants per drink. One type of label shows a hero, such a member of the main party or Hashira, while the other features a notable demon. The Pop Melon Soda examples show Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and the demon Gyokko on them. The first Pepsi Big Zero labels show Tanjiro Kamado and Muzan Kibutsuji on them. On the front of the Pepsi Lemon Big Zero are Zenitsu Agatsuma and the demon Daki. The first two CC Lemon bottles show Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui and Gyutaro, and the second two show Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku and Akaza. Dekavita C bottles in the example feature Inosuke Hashibira and Enmu. Finally, the Natchan bottles shown had Nezuko Kamado and Rui.

This is how that first example looks:

These are only confirmed for Japan. However, if you have an Asian grocery story near you, there is always a chance that the CC Lemon, Natchan, or other Suntory products imported will be the ones that feature those crossover labels and designs. For example, I saw the CC Lemon bottles with Splatoon 3 labels at a local Japanese grocery story after their September 2024 launch in Japan.

The Demon Slayer Suntory crossover that involves characters appearing on battles of sodas like Pepsi and CC Lemon drinks like Natchan will debut in June 2025. Viz Media handles the manga outside Japan, while the anime is streaming on Crunchyroll.

Final Fantasy IX Cup and Bag Look Like Vivi mug

On July 7, 2025, Final Fantasy IX will turn 25 years old, and Square Enix announced the latest rounds of merchandise tying in to that are a Vivi mug with a cup and hat cover and a new plush pouch that also resembles the character. Both of the items will debut in Japan on August 16, 2025. As a reminder, the company still paused many US pre-orders as a result of the Trump tariffs.

The Final Fantasy IX Vivi mug stands at almost 6 inches tall (15cm) when the hat cover is on the cup, and it is about 3 inches tall (7.5cm) with the top taken off. It is designed to look exactly look like the little mage’s face and hat. The product page noted it can hold 250ml. That costs 3,520円 (~$24).

As for the plush Vivi pouch, it is also designed to resemble the character’s face. When opened, the interior lining is a blue and white striped fabric that matches the way his pants look. That is around 7 inches (18cm) tall and almost seven and a half inches (19cm) wide. That will be 3,960円 (~$27).

Here’s how both items will look:

Square Enix announced a lot of Final Fantasy IX merchandise that looked like Vivi in addition to the cup and bag. For example, the company started selling a replica of the character’s hat in April 2025. There are also some more subtle purses and pouches based on the outfits he and Zidane wore in the game. In March 2025, a picture book and plush based on him also appeared.

The Final Fantasy IX Vivi cup that features a mug and cover that resemble him and his hat and a plush pouch will debut on August 16, 2025 in Japan. The game is available on the PlayStation, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices.

Genshin Impact Charlotte Tilbury Items Are Best When Mona Is Referenced

While Mona isn’t one of the most important characters in Genshin Impact, we’ve seen quite a few items tied to her. She ended up being the first figma based on the game, and one of the first scale figures ended up being of her too. Now she’s the character in the spotlight for the Genshin Impact Charlotte Tilbury collection, and it seems quite appropriate given the types of elixirs and magic creams included in the Starry Miracle Adventure Box and Starfell Treasure Kit. From what I’ve seen and experienced though, the items really are best when tied to the character.

First, all the Charlotte Tilbury items in the Genshin Impact box are pretty great. I got the most use out of the Magic Lip Oil Crystal Elixir, which makes your lips shine while also hydrating and softening them. I also ended up being impressed with the Magic Cream moisturizer, as I have some skin sensitivities and it didn’t irritate or cause my skin to get flushed after using it. These two bundles tend to be a way to sample those products while also getting accessories related to the game, so it’s a way to test things out. However, it ended up being the other accessories that I liked best.

Mona has a fantastic aesthetic in Genshin Impact. Even though she isn’t one of my Hydro mains, as those roles fall to Neuvillette and Kokomi, I like her design a bunch. (Especially her original design.) My two favorite items in this Charlotte Tilbury Genshin Impact promotion are the ones that more subtly reference her and the game. Her outfit, both before and after the adjustments, included an accent on her hat that features a golden moon encircling a gold circle with red accents and a star design in the center. The pin included in the Starry Miracle box is an exact replica. I found it a bit big to include in my ita bag, so I’m not sure how I’ll display it yet, but it’s a gorgeous, well-made piece.

The other fun item is a replica of her mirror in the Starfell Treasure Kit. The outside design is an exact replica of the one she used to scry in the Unreconciled Stars event quests. It’s such a fun callback to a moment in the game that pretty much changed everything about the nature of Teyvat. (Not to mention, we ended up introduced to Scaramouche, aka Hat Guy, via it.) It’s also a really handy mirror with a standard reflection on one side and magnified on the other, which makes it practical.

As for the other items in both Genshin Impact Charlotte Tilbury sets, they’re fine. The eye mask, headband, drawstring pouch, and zippered makeup bag are all totally fine and work well. The one from the Starry Miracle Box especially is handy for carrying items, thanks to dividers that help with organization. The tote bag with the logos from the collaboration on one side and Mona on the other is also sturdy and good for books or a few groceries. I just wish the logos were a bit smaller and more subtle. I get that it is important to note what it is, and to include the “Makeup your destiny” branding for it all. But the astrological designs tied to Mona are such an appealing pattern that are recognizable without screaming out, “This is a Genshin Impact bag!” So I’d have appreciated if the same subtlety and nuance shown with the mirror, pin, and even tote bag applied to the other items. Like in the case of the eye mask, I’d have put the logo names across the band or on the inside of the mask if possible, so you have that gorgeous print that resembles the pin untouched.

In general, there’s a good balance among items in the Genshin Impact Charlotte Tilbury sets. For people who want merchandise directly based on the series, perhaps even for cosplay purposes, there’s the pin and the mirror. Those of us who would actually use the cosmetics and creams get an array of sizes of different Charlotte Tilbury products to test and see what we might like. The accessories like the bags, headband, and eye mask are handy in a practical sense. I just wish everything employed the same sense of subtlety as some of the other items, so the designs were the main focus instead of the logos for both the brand and game.

The Genshin Impact Charlotte Tilbury bundles are available now. The game is available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices.

Kingdom Hearts Sora, Riku, Kairi, Aqua, Terra, and Ventus Plush Debut

Bandai Namco announced that Furyu’s plush dolls of Kingdom Hearts series characters Sora, Riku, Kairi, Aqua, Terra, and Ventus as are now available as prizes in Japan. This applies to both physical arcades and Namco Online Crane games. As of time of writing, the only store that ships worldwide that seems to be selling them is Aitai Kuji, which is selling them individually for ¥2,800 (~$19) each.

On the official Bandai Namco sites, the plush Sora, Riku, Kairi, Aqua, Terra, and Ventus are being referred to Kingdom Hearts Mascot groups 2 and 3. The second one features Sora, Riku, and Kairi in in their outfits from the first game. The third shows Aqua, Terra, and Ventus as they appeared in Birth by Sleep.

Here are the two photos Furyu and Bandai Namco released. In each case, the plush toys are about 5 inches (~14cm) tall.

This comes after two major series announcements. The first is that Square Enix canceled Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link. The second involved Kingdom Hearts 4 screenshots showing a playable Mickey Mouse.

The Kingdom Hearts series characters Sora, Riku, Kairi, Aqua, Terra, and Ventus plush toys are now available in Japanese arcades and online grabbing machines.
