love live tcg

An original TCG based on Love Live will come out some time in Spring 2025. You can check out the teaser site here.

There’s virtually no information on the card game as of yet, though more details will appear as we approach the release window. The site features almost all of the main girls from the Love Live series. According to the announcement Tweet, 5% of the sales from the initial release of the first booster pack will be donated to the Noto Peninsula restoration efforts. The area has still not fully recovered from the earthquake that occurred on January 1, 2024.

Most of the direct replies to the Tweet aren’t very positive or optimistic. Some people ask if Bushiroad still re School Idol Collection. Others aren’t too keen on the idea of Bushiroad being in charge of the TCG. Card games from Bushiroad include Cardfight!! Vanguard, Future Card Buddyfight, and Weiß Schwarz. Goodwill towards Vanguard is not as high as before due to multiple reboots and poor management. Though a different department, Western Love Live fans also suffered due to Bushiroad's business decisions in the past with School Idol Festival 2: Miracle Live. Skeptics suggest that Konami should be the one working on the Love Live card game instead. The ones who are excited for it seem to look forward to creating a deck that feature their favorite units.

The Love Live TCG will come out some time in Spring 2025, with more details to appear later.

Bushiroad has also published a new Japanese X for the Love Live game. However, it has still yet to divulge details on the new title, including its release date. The catchphrase on both the pinned tweet and the official website teases a school life between "you" and the 12 people, which implies that the player will act as an original protagonist who can interact with of the Idol Club in the Nijigasaki High School.

Once released, the visual novel will be available to purchase and play on the Nintendo Switch for the foreseeable future. Bushiroad used to launch Love Live: School Idol Festival 2 as a sequel to its mobile game in April 2023. However, the Japanese release's abrupt shutdown in March 2024 led to a bizarre situation for the global version. Bushiroad announced that services for the global release would start in February 2024 and end three months later in May 2024.

Some s posted humorous GIFs in response to the announcement, such as one of Abe Simpson walking in, hanging up his hat, picking up his hat, and then leaving again.

In any case, you can pre- for Love Live School Idol Festival 2 Miracle Live via the Google Play store or the App Store. It is a rhythm game in which you’ll be able to make your dream idol group with girls from μ’s, Aqours, Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, and Liella. Love Live! School Idol Festival is dead, long live Love Live! School Idol Festival 2. Shortly after breaking hearts by announcing the end of service for the original Love Live game, developer KLab  and publisher Bushiroad confirmed its sequel. Formally titled Love Live! Though the game is called a sequel, Love Live! School Idol Festival 2 has much in common with its predecessor. The rhythm gameplay will be basically the same, but have visual upgrades to things like skill cut-in visibility. The game will also host every song in the Love Live! series to date, including songs from units like μ's, Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, A-RISE, Liella!, Sunny ion, Saints Snow, and more. Bushiroad said that over 500 songs will eventually be included in the selection. Idol groups will have short movies that depict the characters' daily lives, and story-based content will allow players to interact with the idols in private and group chat settings. As before, event stories will also add new adventures and encounters for the girls.

Love Live! School Idol Festival 2 Miracle Live is in development for iOS and Android devices, with a release window of Spring 2023. Pre-Registration for the game is open now on the Japanese Google Play Store and Apple App Store. An overseas or English-language release has not yet been announced.
