The second anniversary of Goddess of Victory: Nikke will be on October 31, 2024 and as part of the celebration, Old Tales will start in the game. This will add new Nikkes, costumes, and more, along with a story that focuses on the second-generation Grimms Models.

The full patch list is also available on the website, if you want details about everything. For starters, there will be three new Nikkes: Cinderella, Grave, and Rapunzel. Cinderella uses the Glass Slippers RL and is an Electric Defender Meanwhile, Grave uses the Writer’s Eraser AR and is a Fire er. Both of these are in the gacha, with Cinderella appearing first. Rapunzel will be free so long as you clear the story events and missions. She uses the Holy Grace SR and is an Iron Defender.

There will also be new costumes for D: Killer Wife, Isabel, Scarlet: Black Shadow, and Cinderella. The D: Killer Wife and Isabel costumes are available from es. However, the Scarlet: Black Shadow and Cinderella costumes are via gacha. This is because they add new lines, animations, and poses, as well as use a special model.

Outside of characters and cosmetics, the second anniversary will feature the Old Tales story, as well as the “In the Mirror” mini-game. This is a limited time mini-game, and you have until the end of the patch to play it. It’s a Metroidvania-style game in which you traverse the mirror world, and you can see a sample of it in the trailer.

Goddess of Victory: Nikke came out on November 4, 2022, about two years ago. It's a free-to-play mobile third-person shooter that features a fully female cast wielding guns ranging from assault rifles to rocket launchers. It takes place in a post-apocalyptic future in which Nikkes, artificial soldiers, need to fight against aliens to reclaim Earth for humanity. Aside from the story, its commitment to fanservice may also be a draw for some players.

Goddess of Victory: Nikke is available on mobile devices and Windows PC. The second anniversary patch for Nikke will go live on October 31, 2024.

Movic has announced Nikke Duel Encounter, which will be an acrylic stand card game based on Goddess of Victory: Nikke. It’ll come out on August 23, 2024, and it will cost 3,000 JPY ($19.10). [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

Nikke Duel Encounter will combine acrylic stands with cards in a new multiplayer game. The acrylic stands are on top of a stand that can rotate, and there are designs on both sides of the stand. Because of the usage of both cards and acrylic stands, it’s also possible to collect them as pieces of merchandise rather than as a game to play. The first collection of cards and stands will feature Rapi, Neon, Anis, Liter, Diesel, and Alice.

Movic does not have any information on how the game will play. Some of the card effects seem to feature reloading or increase a character’s damage though. So it’ll probably be similar to other PvP card games in which you try to defeat your opponent’s Nikkes and remove the Nikke Duel Encounter equivalent of Life Points.

Goddess of Victory: Nikke is a F2P third-person shooter RPG that came out in 2022 on mobile devices. It takes place in a post-apocalyptic future in which artificial soldier called Nikkes fight against the aliens that have forced humanity to live underground. During the first month of its release, it made over $70 million in revenue.

Nikke Duel Encounter will come out on August 23, 2024. Goddess of Victory: Nikke is readily available on the Windows PC and mobile devices.

A Goddess of Victory: Nikke stage play has been announced. Shows will run from June 6 to June 9, 2024, at Space Zero. [Thanks, PR Times!]

Official advance tickets are now available, though you can only apply to put your name in the lottery. Sales will end on May 6, 2024. They’ll announce the winners on May 9, 2024. Regular ticket sales will open up on June 1, 2024. Prices start from 9000 JPY ($56.90) for an A seat. As a note, those in the A seat may have difficulty seeing the stage or the actresses. The SS seats at the very first three rows cost 15,000 JPY ($94.90).

So far, it’s unknown how loyal the stage play will be to the Nikke story. However, there will be a lot of scenes in which the actresses will have their backs to the audience, especially during combat scenes. This is to recreate the “appeal” of Nikke, which is the characters' behinds when they're shooting.

Goddess of Victory: Nikke is a third-person shooter game that came out in 2022 for mobile devices. The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic future in which PMC manufacturers modify women and children into Nikkes, which are soldiers and weapons obedient to their creators. The player takes on the role of their commander, though they are sympathetic to the Nikkes’ plight.

The next Goddess of Victory: NIKKE banner and event are about to begin, adding the cheerleader er SSR Bay and One More Time to the game. Both debut on April 11, 2024, then end on April 24, 2024. 

With SSR Bay, she’s a new type of Defender. This means that her role in the party is to help everyone else. Both of her ive skills are designed to help share damage everyone is taking. Her burst is a II type and also increases cover HP and reduces damage. When she attacks enemies, she uses a rocket launcher. She’s also a fire type unit.

Shift Up shared an infographic with us that also goes over her You Can Do It and Cheer Up Together ives and First Winner Burst Skill. 

There’s also a new trailer highlighting SSR Bay.

The One More Time event seems, at the outset, to be a more lighthearted NIKKE one and involve a cheerleading competition. Players will follow Bay and Clay as they attempt to become the best and succeed. As you go through stages, you can earn currency for the event shop and rewards. There is also a event tied to this activity that will give rewards if you seven times between its beginning and end.  

The last major additions to NIKKE involved a Re:ZERO Starting Life in Another World crossover. When that launched, Emilia, Ram, and Rem were added as playable characters. Emilia and Rem are both SSR characters who are now considered to be among the most useful in the game.

The official Tower of Fantasy Twitter (X) has posted a trailer for the game’s collaboration event with Neon Genesis Evangelion, with Rei Ayanami taking the main stage. Rei will appear in the game from March 28, 2024.

In Tower of Fantasy, Rei fights with a bow and can shoot energy arrows, which is not something that she could do in the original Neon Genesis Evangelion. She can also summon her Unit-00 to attack enemies, as well as to activate its AT Field. You can unlock Rei as a simulacra for your characters during the event, much like how you can play as a simulacra version of Asuka.

Hotta Studio first announced its Neon Genesis Evangelion crossover event in early December 2023. During this time, we knew that Shinji, Rei, and Asuka would be prominent characters in the event, and that there would be a limited story, as well as exclusive costumes and mounts. Other items you can get during this event include the hair accessory that all Evangelion candidates wear, Asuka’s eyepatch, and a Pen Pen pet.

Tower of Fantasy is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. The Neon Genesis Evangelion event will end on April 29, 2024.

The Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- collaboration event in Goddess of Victory: Nikke will start on March 21, 2024. You will be able to get Emilia, Rem, and Ram.

Aside from the starting date and playable characters, there is not much information for the collaboration event. More information may appear on the date of its debut, or closer to March 21. However, we can use past events to gauge how the Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- event might work in Goddess of Victory: Nikke. Previous events sometimes had giveaways on Twitter (X), as well as a free character which you could obtain as a reward after fulfilling certain conditions.

The Goddess of Victory: Nikke Twitter teased this collaboration on March 12, 2024. The color scheme of the picture, as well as the unique alternating usage of bold text, matched the logo for Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-. At the time, however, it did not state what characters would appear for this collaboration. Previous events for Goddess of Victory: Nikke, such as with NieR Automata and Chainsaw Man, only added female characters though. So playing as Subaru in this was never in the cards.

The Tower of Fantasy Evangelion update will bring Asuka Shikinami Langley, Pen Pen, Angels, and EVA 00, 01, and 02 on March 12, 2024. A new trailer for the 3.7 update that highlights the additions and new images show what people can expect when it all arrives.

First, here’s the full trailer for the Tower of Fantasy Evangelion crossover update in version 3.7. It begins by announcing the state of emergency for Mirroria, with troops and people all waiting for the attack. Then, we hear the line, “They’re here.” It is then that the Angels attack. First, we see Fourth Angel, who is also known as Sachiel. That’s followed by a glimpse of the second form of the Tenth Angel, who was known as Zeruel in the original series. (The fact that this is the second form shows this is based on the Rebuild of Evangelion depiction.) That’s followed by footage of the EVAs and the Asuka simulacrum that will be playable.

Here’s the gallery showing almost all of the Evangelion elements that will be in Tower of Fantasy, though while the EVA units, Angels, and Pen Pen appear, there wasn’t additional art of Asuka provided by Hotta Studio and Level Infinite.

Tower of Fantasy is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices. The Evangelion crossover starts on March 12, 2024. The Evangelion anime is on Netflix, while the Rebuild of Evangelion movies are on Amazon.

A new Playstation Blog post has detailed the Tower of Fantasy crossover event with the Evangelion series, set to launch "in the first half of 2024." The event was previously announced back in December, 2023.

The update's story will involve players teaming up with Shinji, Asuka, and Rei with the latter two being unlockable as simulacra. A new vehicle based on the Entry Plug as well as a Pen-Pen smart servant will also be available. The post also confirms the appearance of EVA units 00, 01, and 02 as well as certain Angels, which will be presented in 1:1 scale.

Also detailed was the main game update 3.6, which is scheduled for launch on January 30, 2024. This update will add the Aquaville area as well as the SSR character Plotti and her weapon, the EP-7000 Skyfire hand cannon.

Originally only available on mobile devices and PCs, Tower of Fantasy came to Playstation consoles back in August, 2024, as part of the game's first anniversary update. In the month prior, Hotta Studios also added Yu Lan the martial artist as a playable simulacrum.

The Tower of Fantasy x Evangelion crossover event is due to launch sometime in the first half of 2024, while the game itself is readily available on the PC, mobile devices, and now Playstation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Tower of Fantasy will hold a Neon Genesis Evangelion crossover event some time in 2024. The newest update for the game, Winter’s Electrifying Rhapsody, will launch on December 21, 2023. [Thanks, Dengeki Online!]

For the Neon Genesis Evangelion event, characters from the show will appear in the game. These characters are Shinji, Rei, and Asuka. There will be a limited time story, as well as exclusive costumes and mounts. More information on the crossover will appear some time in the future.

As for Winter’s Electrifying Rhapsody, this will be Version 3.5 of Tower of Fantasy. It’ll feature a new story, as well as new characters and weapons that you can collect. You can watch the trailer here:

The first Goddess of Victory: Nikke Nendoroid will be a figure of Rapi, one of the first Nikkes players meet in the game. She’ll show up in June 2024 in Japan, with a worldwide release set for Q4 2024.

Rapi costs about the standard price for a Nendoroid figure. She’s ¥7,000 in Japan. The US Good Smile Company storefront is selling her for $43.99. There is a bonus for buying her directly through the company, which is a papercraft that lets you create a blockade for her to crouch behind.

Rapi will come with extra face plates, leg parts, equipment used in the game, and a removable hat. Her three expressions are one in which she looks angry and like she’s talking, a neutral one, and one in which she is smiling. She can be posed with the same assault rifle she uses in the game. There are also leg parts that allow her to crouch on one knee and fire, as she does when taking part in a stage in-game.

We already knew that Good Smile Company was working on figures of characters from Goddess of Victory: Nikke for a while. Back in May 2023, it shared concept art and announcements for some of them. Wonderful Works also worked on a 1:1 life-size statue of Rapi before. However, while waiting for this Nendoroid’s debut, there are other options. Rapi’s appeared as a figure many times before. 

Goddess of Victory: Nikke is available on PCs and mobile devices. The Nikke Rapi Nendoroid will come to Japan in June 2024 and North America in Q4 2024, with pre-orders for the figure closing on December 14, 2023.

We’ve seen a lot of different special events happen in NIKKE: Goddess of Victory. New characters appear. There was a Chainsaw Man event. Now, we can get and use 2B, A2, and Pascal from NieR: Automata in the game. To learn more about the planning and preparations for this NIKKE NieR: Automata event, we spoke with Director Yoo Hyung-seok and Head of Scenario Plot Jeung Jae Sung about the crossover.

Jenni Lada: When did planning for the NIKKE x NieR: Automata event begin?

Yoo Hyung-seok: I’d wanted to collaborate with NieR: Automata since the planning stage. In fact, I've been a long-time fan, so I would have jumped at any collaboration opportunities even before the development of NIKKE. (Laughs) I started seriously considering a crossover with NieR: Automata after we launched pre-registration in 2022. This was when I heard about a collaboration opportunity from the business team.

What kind of work goes into planning a crossover like this?

Hyung-seok: We've always prepared various interesting elements for large-scale events in Goddess of Victory: Nikke. But in this crossover with NieR: Automata, we've focused more on hacking minigames and the UI. NieR: Automata's UI is a big feature of the game, so we've attempted to recreate the feel of it. Using the hacking minigames as an example, because the plot and story are inseparable elements in the original game, we wanted to recreate that sense of inseparability in this crossover.

Jeung Jae Sung: We've spent a lot of effort on the story. Goddess of Victory: Nikke and NieR: Automata have many similarities in of the theme, the overall atmosphere of the story, and world view. As a long-time fan of the NieR series, not just NieR: Automata, I really like the unique ambience of the story, which has had a significant impact on me as a developer. This great monument of a game has inspired me immensely. I focused on conveying deeply emotional and sincere stories in this crossover event.

How involved were the original staff from NieR: Automata when putting together the NIKKE event?

Hyung-seok: Both of us [Level Infinite and Square Enix] place great importance on player experience, and we hope to bring something new to fans of both games through this collaboration. You can experience the style of NieR from the UI design and gameplay and how the games are fused together.

How did you decide that 2B, A2, and Pascal would be the three playable characters for the NIKKE NieR: Automata event?

Hyung-seok: If I could have my way, there wouldn’t be a single character left out! (Laughs) Among the characters of NieR: Automata, I personally really liked Pascal's story. Of course, I also loved 9S and Emil, so I really wanted to add them all in. I decided to give each of them a suitable position. 9S and 2B share a story and Pascal appears in the battle outlook as well as the side story, while Emil can be found on the field.

Other than that, many players may be surprised by Pascal's appearance. Pascal has healing abilities, which are very useful for Commanders who just started playing NIKKE for the collaboration event. Pascal's battle pose and reload motions are very cool as well, so please be sure to check it out in-game.

How influential were the original character designs when putting together 2B and A2’s costumes, including the Metamorphic Damage ones, for the NieR: Automata NIKKE event?

Hyung-seok: Although the front/back appearance and standing/battle postures of 2B and A2 are the same, we put a lot of effort into showcasing their unique movements seen in NieR: Automata. The reloading motion is also very impactful. We're very pleased with it. Pascal's actions fully embody his personality. We're looking forward to the players' responses.

Was any specific music composed just for this event?

Hyung-seok: Many players are fond of NieR: Automata's BGMs. When I'm working on the computer, the music I listen to the most is the music from NieR: Automata's live concert. (Laughs) To commemorate the collab, we've produced OSTs that can make everyone feel the two games' fusion. We've prepared many sound tracks that give off the NieR: Automata vibe, so please look forward to them.

How accessible is the NieR: Automata event for newcomers to NIKKE?

Hyung-seok: We set the difficulty and balance in such a way that even novice Commanders would be able to complete the event storyline without too much trouble.

In addition to getting Pascal for free, we've also prepared various events where players can get additional rewards, such as a collaborative event Bonus, co-op, and Full Burst Day. We hope everyone will enjoy the event.

What NieR: Automata series Easter egg are you most proud made it into NIKKE?

Hyung-seok: Firstly, in of character design, Pod is set as a shooter in the original title. 2B and A2 do not use guns. We thought that this interaction would be an interesting addition to the crossover. Hence, we've tried to work out a balance: Let 2B have a gun while A2 wields a sword.

We've also dug deep into A2's berserker mode and created a figure of her wielding a sword, which turned out beautifully.

Jeung Jae Sung: In of the story, we put effort into striking the right chemistry between the two titles.

On top of that, we've also prepared a scene that would make NieR fans go, "Hm? Is this...? "

Hyung-seok: I hope this event can bring back everyone's experiences and memories of playing NieR: Automata. On top of the event stories and characters, if you can reminisce the overall narrative of NieR: Automata while playing, your experience will be even more fantastic.

Would a NieR Replicant NIKKE crossover ever be possible?

Yoo: I can't reveal too much about any new collaboration, so please stay tuned on NIKKE; there will be new stories coming your way.

We already knew Pascal is the unit we can earn and the other two heroines are ones in the gacha. Now Level Infinite shared videos and additional details showing all of the characters. Next, here’s the A2 NieR Automata NIKKE teaser. She uses the RL: Type-40 Blade to strike enemies. She is a Fire Code Attacker. Her Burst Skill is also III. Her two ives are Output Increased and Slow Charge Attack. Her Mode B Burst Skill is essentially a blood knight mode that decreases her health over time to increase her attack and charge speed.

Level Infinite and SHIFT UP revealed new information about characters in the NieR: Automata collaboration event that will appear in mobile game NIKKE: Goddess of Victory. The name of the event is OuteR: Automata, and it will be available between September 1-27, 2023. Pascal will be the free unit available as part of the crossover. Furthermore, units 2B and A2 will each appear in new costumes.

The Japanese NIKKE social media has confirmed that Pascal will be voiced by original voice actor Aoi Yuki in the Japanese dub for the game.

Back in April 2023, Level Infinite and SHIFT UP teased a NIKKE NieR: Automata crossover. At the time, there was only a brief video that altered the logo to replace the “NI” in the game’s name with the ones used in the NieR: Automata logo. Now, the full event is confirmed. It will begin on September 1, 2023 and bring 2B, A2, and Pascal to the game.

A few details about the appearance of 2B, A2, and Pascal came up. All three will show up in some capacity. Yui Ishikawa, who is already in the game voicing major heroine Rapi, is also known for being 2B. (She also plays Mikasa in Attack on Titan and Philia in Sword Art Online.) This will mark the second major crossover for NIKKE in 2023. Earlier in the year, Chainsaw Man characters appeared in the game. We were able to recruit Himeno, Makima, and Power.

NIKKE: Goddess of Victory is available on PCs and mobile devices. NieR: Automata is on the PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and PC, and its anime adaptation is streaming on Crunchyroll. The NIKKE NieR: Automata event runs September 1-27, 2023.

The 1 Year Anniversary of Tower of Fantasy will be celebrated in the Midsummer Merriment 3.1 update arriving alongside PS4 and PS5 ports. Both the new versions and expansion arrive on August 8, 2023. As usual, this means a new storyline, a new location, new enemy, and a new character. Ming Jing will appear in Tower of Fantasy after it goes live.

First, Ming Jing is the new Lord Xuanwu for Domain 9. He essentially wields a claymore in fights. While he isn’t from the area, he is its defender. While the Simulacra’s moveset wasn’t detailed, there is an introductory trailer for him.

Ming Jing plays a part in the new story as well. Building on the addition of Domain 9 from early this year, we’ll get to take part in the Jade Pavilion Fair. The launch trailer for the Tower of Fantasy 1 Year Anniversary 3.1 update primarily focuses on him as he watches the event going on around him.

As for the new location, people will get to go to Cloudpeak Manor. It’s a new place inside Domain 9, expanding that map in the game. Once inside, people will get a chance to face the Black Crow Dark Wretch enemy. It's a multi-headed foe.

As Tower of Fantasy is an ongoing game, expansions and updates appear frequently. The 3.0 Domain 9 Sector update arrived back on June 27, 2023. On July 18, 2023, Yu Lan appeared as a playable Simulacra character.

Tower of Fantasy is available to on PC and mobile devices, with the Midsummer Merriment 1 Year Anniversary 3.1 update arriving on August 8, 2023. That day is also when the game will debut on the PS4 and PS5.
