Kadokawa has announced that it will gradually launch the KonoSuba 3 -Bonus Stage- OVA in Japan. The company will publish it first in Japanese theaters in mid-March 2025. It will also sell DVD and Blu-ray sets of the same show in late April 2025. [Thanks, Game Watch!].

This Bonus Stage OVA will contain two new episodes that did not appear in the regular screening of the anime's third season on television and streaming platforms like Crunchyroll. The two episodes will be respectively titled "Red Stream Explosion!" and "Watch Out for the Impostor!"

The company has also published a list of bonus items people can get for pre-ordering the movie tickets and physical discs. A movie ticket that costs ¥1,900 (~$12.50) will come with a digital wallpaper containing messages from the show's voice actors and a lottery ticket for a chance to win a physical poster signed by the same celebrities.

Meanwhile, the physical disc sets will come with a new novel written by the series creator Natsume Akatsuki in addition to a special booklet and a copy of the script book. The Blu-ray set will be available at ¥7,700 (~$50.60), while the DVD set will cost less at ¥6,600 (~$43.35).

The KonoSuba 3 -Bonus Stage- OVA will appear first in Japanese theaters for two weeks starting from March 14, 2025. Kadokawa will later release the OVA's DVD and Blu-ray sets in stores across the country on April 25, 2025.

Fairytail, a Japanese company that specializes in fragrances based on pop culture like anime and tokusatsu, will release perfumes based on Konosuba and Danmachi. These items are available for pre-order in online stores like Dreaming Princess and Amazon, and will appear in physical locations later on.

There are five different types of perfumes for Konosuba, focusing on the female characters, as well as a reed diff. Each eau de parfum costs 4950 JPY ($31.70) and the diff costs 4620 JPY ($29.55). Here are the fragrances, though with only a partial list of ingredients:

• Aqua: Aquatic floral with notes of citrus (top), rose and jasmine (heart), and sandalwood (base).
• Chris: Fruity and floral with honeysuckle (top), rose and jasmine (heart), and amyris wood (base).
• Darkness: Citrus and floral with grapefruit and bergamot (top), blackberry and orchid (heart), and white lily (base).
• Diff: Floral with citrus (top), jasmine and orange blossom (heart), and white vanilla (base).
• Iris: Citrus and floral with grapefruit and bergamot (top), blackberry and orchid (heart), and lily and magnolia (base).
• Megumin: Sweet, floral, and fruity with raspberry (top), lily of the valley and peony (heart), and cashmeran and vanilla (base).

Here are the different perfumes for Danmachi:

• Bell: Floral and woody with pear and coriander (top), rosa centifolia and linen (heart), and white musk and amber (base).
• Hestia: Floral and fruity with bergamot (top), iris and lily of the valley (heart), and cedarwood and sandalwood (base).
• Ryu: Floral and fruity with raspberry (top), plum and rosa centifolia (heart), and white musk and amber (base).
• Syr: Floral with orange (top), jasmine and ylang ylang (heart), and white musk and patchouli (base).
• Welf: Citrus and floral with bergamot (top), cherry blossom and grapefruit (heart), and amber and musk (base).

The Danmachi and Konosuba perfumes from Fairytail are available for pre-order from the online stores. The Konosuba perfumes will appear in physical locations from November 16, 2024, and the Danmachi ones will show up from December 10, 2024.

Prime 1 Studio announced its Prisma Wing KonoSuba figure of Megumin, and it comes with a number of face and eye parts for different poses. The ¥41,690 (~$275) 1/7 scale figure will come to Japan in April 2025, and retailers like AmiAmi are offering worldwide shipping.

While most scale figures are static, there are multiple posing options for this version of Megumin. For example, all versions of the figure, regardless of where it is purchased, comes with two face parts. One features her smiling face as usual, and the other has her wearing her eyepatch. While AmiAmi isn’t offering the additional bonus face plate of her winking, the Prime 1 Studio site does note it is available and offer it.

Those images also highlight two of the other optional posing parts for Megumin. She has two different left arm parts. In the Prime 1 Studio photo showing the version with both eyes visible, the arm part with her pointing is shown. In the one with her wearing the eyepatch, her left hand is brushing her hair out of her face.

Megumin is one of the main characters in the series Konosuba. She’s also the star of the spin-off Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World. She is often turned into figures or appears on merchandise, such as when she ed the Kadokawa Plastic Model Series.

The Prisma Wing KonoSuba Megumin figure will arrive in Japan in April 2025. The anime is streaming on Crunchyroll, with season 3 beginning to appear on the service. Yen Press handles the light novels and manga.

Crunchyroll announced it picked up four Spring 2024 anime series, and one of them is Konosuba season 3. Ahead of its debut, a preview will appear at the La Mole Mexico City convention that will be held March 15-17, 2024.

The four new anime that will be ing Crunchyroll in Spring 2024 are A Condition Called Love, Konosuba season 3, Kuramerukagari, and Kurayakaba. Only the portion referencing Konosuba mentioned an April 2024 release window. However, Crunchyroll’s spring additions each year all always start in April, with the 2022 and 2023 roundups being good examples. So odds are all of them will start their runs throughout the month.

The announcement also didn’t bring up any details about dubs or subs for the shows. Every new release gets an English subtitle option, but Crunchyroll also offers subs in other languages. Also, a dub usually isn’t guaranteed for an anime. In the case of Konosuba, however, there are English, Latin American Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese dubs for past seasons, as well as for the An Explosion on This Wonderful World Megumin spin-off.  

A Condition Called Love, Konosuba season 3, Kuramerukagari, and Kurayakaba will be streaming worldwide when the Spring 2024 anime season begins in April 2024.

Imagine you are reborn into a world as an adventurer and end up forming a party with a dumb goddess who drinks too much, an explosion-happy wizard who complains about being flat-chested, and a noble warrior who gets turned on by the idea of being eaten by monsters. What sort of hijinks would you think you’d end up stumbling into while adventuring with an eccentric party like that? Konosuba: Love for These Clothes of Desire answers that question by giving Konosuba fans a wacky dress-up visual novel filled with sexy, salacious outfits to dress the Konosuba women in, producing some interesting storylines that range from humorous to straight up raunchy. 

Konosuba: Love for These Clothes of Desire is technically a loose sequel to the Japan-only game titled Konosuba: Judgment on this Greedy Game released in 2017, but works just fine as a standalone game that can be enjoyed by fans. While on the road, Kazuma, Megumin, Aqua, and Darkness—the main characters of Konosuba—happen to stumble across a strange black slab that has some sort of illegible text on it. The party discovers that the black slab can create clothing by using ingredients and materials. They also, unfortunately, discover it is cursed to awaken the opposite desire within a person, and the curse can only be lifted by fulfilling the physical and mental components of their new desire. The longer the curse remains on its unassuming target, the more permanent the change becomes until their original desire is replaced with the new one. To add fuel to the fire, the party also discovers that the slab was stolen from a nobleman who accuses them of its theft, leaving Kazuma, Megumin, Aqua, and Darkness to be forced to fulfill the nobleman’s demands for strange outfits as they try to prove their innocence and save each party from the curse of the black slab.

People who have engaged with the anime, manga, or light novels within the Konosuba series will be familiar with the cast present in the game and their personality types. The first person to be affected by the curse is Darkness who goes from being a masochist seeking humiliation from others around her to a sadist who thrives on the humiliation of others. The second person affected is Megumin, who goes from being envious of women with large boobs to embracing her existence as a flat-chested lolita. Aqua finds herself the third victim of the black slab’s curse, making her go from being selfish and hedonistic to selfless like a proper goddess, although she still loves her bubbly. 

In order to cure the party from their curse and save them from death by order of the nobleman, they all must go out on quests to collect items in order to craft a variety of sexy and suggestive outfits. There are also bonus outfits that can be made which unlocks additional storylines and increases the relationships between Kazuma and the three woman in his party as well and familiar ing characters from the Konosuba series including Sena, Chris, Wiz, and Yunyun.

The game combines visual novel storytelling and task management in order to create clothing so players can progress through the wacky story of Konosuba: Love for These Clothes of Desire. Players are given a certain amount of days to go on quests or complete part-time jobs in order to fulfill the nobleman’s outfit request. Every five days operates a bit like this: three days are blocked off for players to select tasks in order to collect materials. Sometimes certain tasks will trigger story scenes that range from being extremely humorous to just plain uncomfortable depending on your tolerance for sexual innuendos and content.

After the schedule is run for this three days, players will get the chance to watch a scene in different locations that gives them the chance to increase Kazuma’s relationship with one of the seven women. The fifth day is when players can shop for additional materials to use in outfit crafting and actually craft the outfits. The cycle continues until the player creates the main story outfits or runs out of days to create the outfits. 

It requires some good time management to make sure the necessary materials are being collected from part-time jobs and quests, not to mention the fact there are so many additional outfits that can be crafted that aren’t a part of the main storyline but can influence which ending the player gets for Kazuma. Thankfully, Konosuba: Love for These Clothes of Desire is pretty fast so players can play through many different endings without feeling pressured to complete them on their first playthrough. Somehow I managed to make outfits for mainly Yunyun, which gave me her ending when I completed my first playthrough, although I had been mainly aiming for an ending with Aqua.

I found the time management aspect of this game to be rather creative and a nice way to make the game more interactive since players will need to actively manage their items and prioritize certain outfits before running out of time in each chapter to complete the main story outfits. Also, the game actively rewards mediocrity by showing unique events if you have Megumin, Aqua, and Darkness complete part-time jobs they dislike. 

While not being the exact demographic for this game as I’ve never watched more than a handful of episodes of Konosuba, I did find some moments where I laughed at the ridiculous situations Kazuma, Megumin, Aqua, and Darkness would end up in—many of which were almost always a consequence of their own foolish actions. Konosuba: Love for These Clothes of Desire is also extremely suggestive and is unashamed about it, which is in line with series as a whole, although I found the anime to be a bit more ironic about its sexual innuendos and raunchiness. The game still features the self-awareness present in the series, but some of the scenes that occur after a bonus outfit is given to one of the seven women feels like it is played pretty straight. For example, dressing Yunyun in a school girl uniform during a rainy day allows Kazuma to see through her clothes, and there is honestly nothing funny about it nor does it provide any meta commentary that I would expect from Konosuba. Of course, this game is filled to the brim with titilating outfits and moments, but even as somebody who has little experience with the anime, I expected these sorts of moments to at least have some kind of humorous payoff while still being provocative in the way Konosuba is known to be. 

For people who love the raunchiness of the Konosuba series, there is plenty of that to find in Konosuba: Love for These Clothes of Desire, but if players were looking for something that attempts to subvert the genre when Megumin, Aqua, or Darkness are dressed in a swimsuit or maid outfit, then they probably won’t find that here. This game is fanservice through and through, but it does have plenty of funny moments that will make fans want to see the game through to the end, especially if they can unlock an ending featuring their favorite character.

PQube and Mages announced that Konosuba: Love for These Clothes of Desire! will be releasing on the PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on February 8, 2024. The game was initially announced to be localized by PQube back in June 2023, but no release date for the game was revealed at the time.

Konosuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! Love for These Clothes of Desire! is a visual novel based on the popular light novel, manga, and anime series which follows Kazuma, a regular guy reincarnated and transported into another world as an adventurer. The game tells a brand new Konosuba adventure where Kazuma, Megumin, Aqua, and Darkness encounter a new curse and must find a way to break it.

A "mysterious black slab" alters the deepest desires of whoever touches it, which alters the personalities of Megumin, Aqua, and Darkness. By dres each character in "exciting, unexpected" outfits that bring satisfaction to the Konosuba characters, the curse can be broken. In order to craft the outfits, players must go on quests to gather resources and money. Each outfit has its own storyline, so players are encouraged to craft all of the outfits in order to experience all of the different comedic plot lines that Kazuma, Megumin, Aqua, and Darkness find themselves in.

Konosuba: Love For These Clothes Of Desire! also comes with a Special Swimsuit DLC which unlocks three new scenarios and allows players to create three special costumes: Super Megumin, Deluxe Aqua, and Extra Darkness. Depending on what materials are used to cast the special swimsuit costumes, the design of the outfit and the story will change. Players can unlock the three special costumes during Chapter 2 of Konosuba: Love For These Clothes Of Desire!

Kadokawa has revealed that it will release a new series of plastic model kits that feature heroines and key female characters from its anime titles. The Kadokawa Plastic Model Series will feature Megumin from KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! as its first figure.

The Megumin set will come with multiple face plates and costume options that let the owner change the model's attire from a swimsuit to her regular clothing. Kadokawa also shared an example image showing the parts that constitute Megumin's wizard hat.

In addition, Kadokawa published a teaser image showing the other characters who will be made into model kits in the near future. Other than fellow KonoSuba character Aqua, the list also features Oshi no Ko's Ai Hoshino, A Certain Scientific Railgun's Misaka Mikoto, Date A Live's Tohka Yatogami and Kurumi Tokisaki, Jobless Reincarnation's Roxy and Eris, and Re:Zero's Emilia, Rem, and Ram.

The first figure for the Kadokawa Plastic Model Series, which features KonoSuba's Megumin, is still under development. Kadokawa has not announced the model kit's release window as of September 2023. Although it has also yet to confirm global availability for these model kits, Kadokawa's store site s WorldShipping for international shipments of its products.

A season 3 of KonoSuba is currently in production. The new series will air in 2024, and a new key visual of the protagonist group heading off on a new adventure appeared as well. The new season of KonoSuba will continue after the events of the 2019 movie KonoSuba: The Legend of Crimson. Studio Drive will be in charge of animating the new season. [Thanks, Comic Natalie!]

KonoSuba is inspired a series of light novels written by Natsume Akatsuki. The series received an anime adaptation by Studio Deen in 2016, and a second season appeared in 2017. The series is part of another crossover anime titled Isekai Quartet.

As a reminder, Konosuba: An Explosion on this Wonderful World! is the latest KonoSuba story to receive an anime adaptation. The original run of the spin-off aired on April 6, 2023 and it recently wrapped up on June 22, 2023. The spin-off stars the Crimson Arch Wizard Megumin as its main protagonist, and it focuses on the character growing up and explores her motivations for becoming a wizard.

Season 3 of KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! is currently in production and it will appear in Japan sometime in 2024. More details will appear in the future.

It will be releasing the game for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. However, there's no release date yet. It only appeared on the PS4 and Switch in Japan.

Konosuba: Love for These Clothes of Desire is a visual novel spin-off of the Konosuba franchise with a focus on dres seven heroines, including Megumin, Aqua and Darkness. Much of the gameplay sees you managing a weekly planner for each character, guiding them to collect resources and complete quests. With the right resources, you can make even more outfits and these unlock new story segments. There will also be significant choices to make that affect the outcome of the story.

Konosuba: Love for These Clothes of Desire previously released in Japan in September 2020 for PS4 and Switch. It is the first console and PC game in the series to receive an official localization in the West. However, the mobile game Fantastic Days is available globally. There is also a Konosuba tabletop role-playing game available in English.

Konosuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! Love for These Clothes of Desire! will release for PC, PS4 and Nintendo Switch. The localization currently does not have a release date.

Aqua, one of the main characters in KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World, is making her appearance on the arcade rhythm game Sound Voltex. Konami revealed that it has added Aqua-related content for Sound Voltex: Exceed Gear that players can unlock for a limited time. The company has also added the anime show's first opening theme, "fantastic dreamer," as a playable song.

Players in Japan can access the Generator to purchase in-game content related to Aqua. The main highlight is Aqua's appearance as a Nemsys Crew that will greet the player in the game's menus. The lineup also includes 10 Voiced Stamps and 20 Slide Show Touch s based on Aqua's famous pictures.

While Sound Voltex is also available in several other countries, the announcement has a fine print notifying players that content related to KonoSuba's Aqua will be available exclusively in Japan.

Sound Voltex is an arcade rhythm game with additional mixing effects from knob and button inputs. Konami has been regularly holding public contests to add -submitted songs to the game series. The company also occasionally adds tracks from other IPs, such as Toby Fox's Undertale.

Sound Voltex: Exceed Gear is available in arcades and on PCs via Konami Amusement Game Station. Players of the arcade version in Japan have until October 16, 2022, to unlock content related to KonoSuba's Aqua.

The Konosuba: An Explosion on this Wonderful World! teaser shows off the inciting incident in young Megumin's career. As a child, Megumin was saved by an older magician. Her savior wielded the ultimate offensive spell: Explosion. Ever since then, Megumin has been so devoted to acquiring and mastering the spell that she vowed to "cast Explosion once a day or die," even when a single casting drains her magic so thoroughly that she collapses into a heap.

The Konosuba: An Explosion on this Wonderful World! adapts the light novel series of the same name. Megumin and her self-declared rival Yunyun star, and its story covers their lives before meeting Konosuba protagonist Kazuma Satou. In the series, Rie Takahashi will reprise her role as Megumin. She also plays Mash in Fate/Grand Order and Emilia in Re:Zero. Aki Toyosaki will also be returning as Yunyun. Her other roles include Justine and Caroline in Persona 5 and Yui in K-On!.

The anime will be produced by Studio Drive (whereas Studio Deen and J.C. Staff animated the main series and film, respectively). Much of the staff from the main Konosuba series will return, however. These include director Takaomi Kanasaki, lead writer Makoto Uezu, and character designer Koichi Kikuta. The same staff is working on the third Konosuba season as well.

Konosuba: An Explosion on this Wonderful World! premieres in 2023. The first two seasons of Konosuba are available on Crunchyroll and other services. The Legend of Crimson movie aired in 2019. Yen Press publishes the source novels and their manga adaptations in English.

People will have a second chance to get Nendoroids of the Konosuba characters. Good Smile Company announced it will once again offer the Aqua, Darkness, Kazuma, Megumin, and Yunyun figures. In the case of Kazuma and Yunyun, this is the first time they’ve returned since their 2018 debuts. Meanwhile, this is the fourth time Aqua will be rereleased. Most of them are ¥5,900/$53.99. However, Megumin is slightly more expensive at ¥6,100/$55.99.

As one might expect, each of these Konosuba Nendoroids come with the same items they did the first time around. Each one has three face plates. Everyone has their signature weapon. In the case of Megumin, you also get some magic effect parts and an eyepatch. Aqua, Darkness, and Megumin come with special bases as a Good Smile Company store pre-order bonus. Kazuma’s pre-order bonus is a folded jersey he can carry. Yunyun’s is a pair of bunny ears.

This comes about a year after the debut of some accessories for these figures. Back in September 2021, Good Smile Company added the Konosuba characters Aqua, Darkness, and Megumin to the Swacchao Nendoroid line. This meant people could get sitting versions of the cast compatible with their past Nendoroid releases.

The Konosuba Nendoroids of the characters Aqua, Darkness, Kazuma, Megumin, and Yunyun will be out in October 2022 in Japan and December 2022 in North America. Pre-orders are open for them until July 6, 2022.

A sequel to KonoSuba: Labyrinth Of Hope And The Gathering Adventurers is now in development. Developer Entergram announced that it will release the game on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. While the company opened up a new teaser site for the game, there is no confirmed release date. However, the company did state that it will reveal more information about the title on March 18, 2022.

The teaser website provides a new visual for the sequel. The image features Kazuma, Megumin, Aqua, and Darkness. Though the website URL includes "KonoSuba 2", the announced game does not have a confirmed title.

What we do know is that the game will be a sequel to the dungeon RPG KonoSuba: Labyrinth Of Hope And The Gathering Adventurers, which released for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in 2019. The game later received an updated "Plus" version for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch in 2020. The enhanced version added new elements such as skills for Kazuma, as well as new events and outfits.

Last year, the official KonoSuba Twitter announced that a new anime series was in production. Aside from video games and anime, there is also a KonoSuba TRPG available in English via Yen Press.

The KonoSuba: Labyrinth Of Hope And The Gathering Adventurers sequel is in development for PS4 and Nintendo Switch. There is no confirmed release date or price. Developer Entergram will announce further details on March 18, 2022.

There are some new KonoSuba Nendoroids of Aqua, Darkness, and Megumin are on the way, and they are variants of ones already available. Good Smile Company will add all three characters to its Swacchao line. The figures will launch in Japan in May 2022. A North American release will follow in July 2022. They will cost ¥3,300/$32.99 and pre-orders are open now.

The reason for the lower price is that the Swaccho line of Nendoroids is less elaborate than a normal one. People will get Aqua, Darkness, or Megumin in a static, sitting position. Their arms and legs are locked in one pose. You also only get one face plate with each figure. The chair's legs can be altered to allow the figure to hang off the edge of a platform as though they are sitting on it. However, each of these figures is compatible with past KonoSuba Nendoroids of Aqua, Darkness, and Megumin.

The KonoSuba Swacchao Nendoroids of Aqua, Darkness, and Megumin will appear in May 2022 in Japan and July 2022 in North America. Pre-orders are open until October 27, 2021. The official Twitter for the KonoSuba series revealed that a new anime is in production. The news comes from the livestream KonoSuba Channel from Isekai Museum. Additionally, the tweet provided a look at the refreshed visual style. The asked fans to look forward to additional information in the future. [Thanks, Anime News Network!]

Studio Deen worked on a KonoSuba anime TV series that ran from January 2016 to March 2017, along with two OVAs. The series also had a film adaptation handled by J. C. Staff in 2020. However, we do not know yet which studio will work on the production. Details on the new KonoSuba anime are sparse, but we do have an idea of what it will look like with the below key art.

From its humble beginnings as a web novel in 2012, KonoSuba continues to be a successful multimedia franchise. The series has a TRPG coming to western shores in October 2021. Earlier in July 2021, we heard that pre-registration is open for the mobile game KonoSuba: Fantastic Days. The voice actors for Aqua and Kazuma also expressed their enthusiasm for the mobile game's worldwide release.

The official Twitter confirmed that a new anime for KonoSuba is in production, with more information to come in the future.
