Mobile developer KLab announced Bleach: Soul Puzzle, a match-3 puzzle game featuring characters from the Bleach anime and manga franchise. The title is set to launch worldwide sometime in 2024, though an exact date is yet to be declared.

The game will features items, special blocks, and special attacks on top of the basic match-3 mechanics. Chibi versions of characters from Bleach and the recent Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War anime appear in the game, and there appears to be a mode that allows players to arrange characters and scenery to recreate scenes from the series. There is also a pre-registration campaign going on, with the prizes like in-game currencies, items, and the chance to win an acrylic stand of protagonist Ichigo available.

Earlier in July 2024, it was announced that Part 3 of the the Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War anime series would air in October, 2024. Meanwhile, a new game based on the series was announced at Anime Expo 2024 titled Bleach Rebirth of Souls, which is expected to launch on the PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.

Bleach: Soul Puzzle will launch for mobile devices sometime in 2024. The original anime and Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War is available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu. Viz Media handles the manga outside Japan.

KLab has released the Xbox version of Bleach: Brave Souls worldwide. The game is available as a free-to-play title for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S via Microsoft Store. It s subtitles in four languages: Japanese, English, French, and Traditional Chinese.

The company has also started offering new free and paid item packs exclusively to players who start playing the game on the Xbox consoles. It is also holding new missions and bonuses for players in other existing platforms to help celebrate the new Xbox releases.

This new release followed KLab's prior announcement in late May 2024. Other than Xbox platforms, the company also made a promise to release the game on Nintendo Switch. The latter is still not yet available as of this release. But once it has come out, KLab will have succeeded in bringing the free-to-play game to all ongoing major gaming platforms.

KLab's Japanese press release noted that the Xbox and Switch versions cross-play with other existing platforms, such as PCs and mobile devices. However, it does not Multi-Device, which means that players in the existing platforms cannot carry over their s to the new platforms.

Bleach: Brave Souls is readily available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S in addition to Android, iOS, PC, and PlayStation 4. KLab will also release a Nintendo Switch version of the game in the near future.

KLab has announced a new online mobile game focusing on the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime series. It’s working in partnership with Wanda Cinema Games, a studio with headquarters in Beijing. [Thanks, PR Times!]

KLab had initially announced a JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure online mobile game back in 2020. However, due to complications with its development partner at the time, it was unable to move ahead with the project. However, with Wanda Cinema Games as a new partner, they’re working to release the game in all countries (excluding Japan) some time in 2026. It’s unknown why KLab doesn’t plan on releasing it within Japan. However, its business model focuses on getting licenses from Japanese intellectual property owners and then releasing games based on them to an international market.

Since it’s focused on the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime series, it will likely use that animation style for the characters. As well, it probably won’t feature any parts or characters from the series after Stone Ocean. For reference, those are Steel Ball Run, Jojolion, and JOJOLands. Though Steel Ball Run and Jojolion never got animated adaptations (yet?), characters from those parts still appeared as playable characters in the fighting games.

A JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure online mobile game is in development and will come out some time in 2026.

KLab announced that it will bring Bleach: Brave Souls to the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One in Summer 2024. While the Xbox version will involve Xbox One as its primary platform, the company assured that it will also be available on the Xbox Series X via backward compatibility.

Bleach: Brave Souls is a free-to-play action game where players can recruit characters from throughout the Bleach franchise via gameplay and gacha. It first appeared on Android and iOS mobile devices in 2015, but KLab gradually brought the game to PC in 2020 and PlayStation 4 in 2022.

With Switch and Xbox also newly confirmed getting , Bleach: Brave Souls will eventually become available on all ongoing major gaming platforms. The game features subtitles in Japanese, English, French, and Traditional Chinese. The new Switch and Xbox releases will be available worldwide except in Mainland China and a few other specific regions.

KLab also revealed that it will launch a new gacha summon banner featuring Masaki Kurosaki and Isshin Shiba for existing players on PS4, PC, and mobile devices. The banner will be available from May 31, 2024, to June 15, 2024.

Bleach: Brave Souls will be available for Nintendo Switch and Xbox One in Summer 2024. The free-to-play title is immediately playable on Android, iOS, PC, and PlayStation 4. The latter version is also available on PlayStation 5 via backward compatibility.

KLab announced that it acquired consent from the Bleach production committee to develop a new hybrid casual mobile game based on the series' Thousand-Year Blood War anime. The new game will Japanese and English, and it will be available in almost all countries and regions worldwide, except for Mainland China.

In its press release, KLab described "hybrid casual game" as a model that combines the simplicity of casual games and the long-term playability of online games. The game will also generate profits from both microtransactions and ments.

KLab did not specify the platforms for the new game. However, it placed its press release on PRTimes under the "Smartphone Game" category. Therefore, this new title will appear on mobile devices.

KLab has previously released a Bleach live service game, and it is still ongoing as of May 2024. Bleach: Brave Souls originally came out for Android and iOS mobile devices. The company gradually added PC (Steam) and PlayStation 4 to its platform lineup. Brave Souls had recorded over 70 million s as of November 2022; that number has since been updated to 90 million in late April 2024.

KLab announced it is working on a “hybrid-casual” mobile game with the Palworld developer Pocketpair. There’s no release date yet.

All details about this new project are quite scarce. It is going to be a mobile title. The official announcement specifically referenced smartphones. Another part of the announcement noted the goal will be to “generate revenue from both in-game purchases and ments.” It’s unknown if this will be based on an original IP or one of Pocketpair’s other titles.

However, KLab did confirm this collaboration has been in the works for a while. During its reveal, it noted that things kicked off in 2020. As a reminder, some of KLab’s games include Bleach: Brave Souls, Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team, and Lapis RE:LiGHTs. As for Pocketpair, it is also known for AI: Art Imposter and Craftopia. In addition, it also has Never Grave: The Witch and The Curse entering early access in 2024.

There’s no social media update on Palworld sales for today yet. The last one arrived on January 25, 2024 and confirmed it hit eight million. 

Palworld is in early access for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. There’s no release window yet for the new KLab and Palworld developer Pocketpair mobile game.

The global version of Love Live School Idol Festival 2 Miracle Live will launch soon in February 2024, with pre-registrations open. However, the same tweet announced that the global version of the game will then close on May 31, 2024.

It is rather unprecedented for a company to announce the start and the end of the game in the same Tweet. Many of the replies, either directly to the Tweet itself or through quotes, have asked why Bushiroad would even launch it. Some s posted humorous GIFs in response to the announcement, such as one of Abe Simpson walking in, hanging up his hat, picking up his hat, and then leaving again.

In any case, you can pre- for Love Live School Idol Festival 2 Miracle Live via the Google Play store or the App Store. It is a rhythm game in which you’ll be able to make your dream idol group with girls from μ’s, Aqours, Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, and Liella. When the game closes in May 31, 2024, you will no longer be abe to purchase anything in the in-game store.

Love Live! School Idol Festival is dead, long live Love Live! School Idol Festival 2. Shortly after breaking hearts by announcing the end of service for the original Love Live game, developer KLab  and publisher Bushiroad confirmed its sequel. Formally titled Love Live! School Idol Festival 2 Miracle Live!, the game will launch for iOS and Android devices in Spring 2023.

Though the game is called a sequel, Love Live! School Idol Festival 2 has much in common with its predecessor. The rhythm gameplay will be basically the same, but have visual upgrades to things like skill cut-in visibility. The game will also host every song in the Love Live! series to date, including songs from units like μ's, Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, A-RISE, Liella!, Sunny ion, Saints Snow, and more. Bushiroad said that over 500 songs will eventually be included in the selection. Idol groups will have short movies that depict the characters' daily lives, and story-based content will allow players to interact with the idols in private and group chat settings. As before, event stories will also add new adventures and encounters for the girls.

Love Live! School Idol Festival 2 Miracle Live is in development for iOS and Android devices, with a release window of Spring 2023. Pre-Registration for the game is open now on the Japanese Google Play Store and Apple App Store. An overseas or English-language release has not yet been announced.

KLab announced that Love Live: School Idol Festival will end service on March 31, 2023. After that date, players will no longer be able to or play the game. As of January 31, 2023, you are also unable to purchase any more paid content such as Love Gems, packs, or es.

While some games offer refunds on paid content that you still own at the end of a game’s life, KLab has not made any note about that on its announcement page for School Idol Festival. There is an e-mail for concerned players to reach out to. Since all Love Gems and tickets are valid until the game actually ends in late March 2023, you are likely meant to use them all up before then.

Love Live: School Idol Festival is a free-to-play rhythm game based on the Love Live franchise. It originally came out in 2013 in Japan, which means that the game lasted around ten years. There was an arcade version available as well, though it shut down in 2021. School Idol Festival often ran collaboration events with other intellectual works. For example, it had a Persona crossover and a Code Geass one in the past.

Love Live: School Idol Festival is readily available for mobile devices, and it will end service on March 31, 2023. Players will have until that date to the game and use up any remaining items.

Yu Yu Hakusho 100% Maji Battle will end service on February 21, 2023. This is the mobile game based on the Weekly Shonen Jump manga Yu Yu Hakusho. Service for the game started in 2018, which means that it will end after around 4 years. [Thanks, Dengeki Online!]

As of December 21, 2022, you could no longer purchase items like SP Gacha Tickets. You will be able to play the game as normal until February 21, 2023. At 4pm JST on February 21, the game will not be available to anymore, and you will not be able to make a new . After that, at 5pm JST, you will no longer have access to the gacha and the game will shut down. Players will have from February 21, 2023 to April 28, 2023 to get a refund on any paid currency.

Yu Yu Hakusho 100% Maji Battle is a turn-based RPG that lets players relive the Yu Yu Hakusho story. You could pull for your favorite characters, as well as versions of them in different outfits, from the gacha. News of the game shutting down first appeared via the official website on December 21, 2022. The official website will be remain up until July 21, 2023.

Yu Yu Hakusho 100% Maji Battle will end service on February 21, 2023. Until then, it is available on mobile devices in Japan. Yu Yu Hakusho Genkai Battle Spirits was in development for mobile devices as well, but there has been no news of it since 2021.

KLab, developer of Bleach: Brave Souls, announced it acquired the rights to create a new online game based on My Hero Academia. It received the rights from the series' production committee. The rights apply to a full global release, with the exception of mainland China. This effectively confirms that KLab's MHA online game could eventually see wider release, whenever it does show up. Exactly what that MHA online game will turn out to be, however, is unclear. KLab did not mention any concrete details about the game, its target platforms, or release window beyond noting it will be based on My Hero Academia. The company did say that it intends to use its know-how cultivated from operating other IP-based games to ensure an enjoyable experience for fans all over the world.

KLab currently operates Bleach: Brave Souls, a free-to-play game available on Android and iOS devices, PCs, and PS4s. That game sured a milestone of 70 million total s in the seven years since its release. It also operates Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team and a game based on Love Live. It recently announced a blockchain-based game called Captain Tsubasa - Rivals -. The MHA game announcement did not mention if blockchain technology or NFTs are involved.

Various other My Hero Academia games are currently operating under other publishers and developers. Bandai Namco is set to release a battle royal-style title, My Hero Academia: Ultra Rumble. MHA: The Strongest Hero also launched in May 2021.

KLab's MHA online game is in development. The My Hero Academia manga is published in English by Viz Media. The anime airs on various streaming services.

Developer KLab announced total worldwide s for Bleach: Brave Souls sured 70 million. To commemorate this milestone, a series of special in-game rewards will be distributed to players. Starting on October 31, 2022, players will receive daily rewards for logging into Bleach: Brave Souls during the "70 Million s Commemoration Campaign." Additionally, players will be able to perform daily x10 rolls on a special commemorative banner, with a total of 100 x10 roles possible until November 15, 2022. The campaign will last from October 31, 2022 to November 3, 2022. [Thanks, Gamer!]

Other rewards include a special Six-Star Summons Ticket. This item will be available to obtain until the campaign period ends in late-November. Players will also receive a special commemorative pack, a commemorative enhancement set, with a special series of quests to appear.

Additionally, several game updates will appear. This includes bug fixes, changes to the Extreme Co-Op time table, the inclusion of more bonus abilities, and the adjustment of ad summons. KLab has also released a statement regarding in-game cheating. It is currently discussing steps on how to proper address this issue. More information about how KLab will solve the persistent issue of in-game cheating will be shared in the future.

Takanori Nishikawa, also known for their solo act T.M. Revolution, appeared in a commercial for Touhou Arcadia Record. Nishikawa dressed as popular Touhou Project character Reimu Hakurei. The commercial aired on Japanese televisions and is also available to watch on YouTube. [Thanks, Inside Games!]

The 30-second commercial initially features Nishikawa dressed as a Japanese high schooler. When his teacher catches him sleeping during class and throws a piece of chalk at him, Nishikawa transforms into Reimu Hakurei. Fittingly, Nishikawa's character is named "Nishikawa Reimu".

The transformation has Nishikawa fit snugly into a midriff-exposing outfit and full makeup, mimicking Reimu's appearance in the game.  Nishikawa then dodges an array of pink chalk, a la Touhou Arcadia Record’s side-scrolling shoot-em-up game mechanics.

The J-Pop musician is no stranger to the video game industry. Last year, miHoYo revealed that Nishikawa would voice the character Arataki Itto in Genshin Impact. He has also collaborated with games such as Azur Lane. Furthermore, Nishikawa has also voiced characters in several anime, including Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and Sengoku Basara: End of Judgement. As T.M. Revolution, Nishikawa is best known for his song “Hot Limit”.

Touhou Arcadia Record is available to play on iOS and Android devices in Japan. There is no official English release.

Love Live will get new interactions with Code Geass. The crossover between the two anime franchises — both made by Sunrise — will happen on the mobile game Love Live! School Idol Festival. Bushiroad and KLab have published full details of the crossover event on a web page that is also available in English.

Aqours will take the spotlight in this crossover. All nine group will receive new costumes based on Code Geass characters like C.C. and Shirley Fenette. Meanwhile, of the first group μ's will get Ashford Academy uniforms in chibi proportions.

The actual Code Geass characters will also appear in the Love Live mobile game for the duration of the event. In addition to the event storyline, they will appear as guests in Live Arena sessions. The time-limited Arena will feature "Colors" and "Yukyoseisyunka," the first opening and ending songs for the first season of Lelouch of the Rebellion.

Players will be able to collect new keychain accessories for Aqours . These keychains will be modeled after the Knightmare Frames in the Code Geass franchise. The lineup will even include Gekkoei Sui, the complete version of Lelouch's command unit in the Lelouch of the Re;surrection movie that debuted in Super Robot Wars 30.

Love Live! School Idol Festival is available on Android and iOS mobile devices. The Code Geass crossover event will run April 1-25, 2022.

More people can now get a taste of a Bleach game. Originally scheduled for launch on home consoles in 2021, Bleach: Brave Souls is now available for to PS4. A PC version was released in 2020 [Thanks, 4Gamer!].

There's also a special launch campaign in effect for new players to promote the game. Players who before April 15, 2022, will receive a 5-Star Summons Ticket. They'll also get a Power-Up Set containing Coins, Crystals, Jewels, and Hogyokus, items required to develop and ascend characters. Players who have an active PlayStation Plus subscription will also receive another 5-Star Summons Ticket, a 5-Star Accessory Ticket, and 50 Soul Tickets.

There are also some caveats to note for players interested in taking up Bleach: Brave Souls on the PS4. For one, the aforementioned PlayStation Plus Subscriber Perk rewards will be distributed at a later date, and won't be available immediately. The game also doesn't PSN Online ID changes, so players that opt to change their PSN handle while the game is playing will crash the game. Testing for compatibility is also not quite complete on the PS5, as well. While the game is able and playable on PS5 consoles, KLab noted that some bugs could occur. The game also does not cross-save functionality, so existing mobile or PC s cannot access their existing profiles and save data on PS4 and vice-versa.

Bleach: Brave Souls originally launched for Android and iOS in 2015. Developed by KLab, it is a free-to-play action game. Players control their characters from an isometric perspective, defeating enemies in real time using each characters' unique abilities. It also s real-time multiplayer. Players can summon new characters and accessories via a gacha system.

Bleach: Brave Souls is available on Android devices, iOS devices, PCs, and the PS4.
