A physical Nintendo Switch version of Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley is out now in Japan. It was previously only available as a digital . [Thanks, Famitsu!]

The Nintendo Switch physical edition comes with the Cherished Keepsakes DLC of Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley, as well as some paper stands you can display around the house. Cherished Keepsakes is a cosmetic DLC that you can use to give Snufkin some flowers for his hat, as well as a wooden mouthpiece for when he’s just chilling and enjoying nature.

The limited version of the box will come with the game, the DLC, the original art book, the soundtrack, a pin of Moomintroll giving Snufkin a piggyback, and the paper stands. Depending on where you purchase it, you can get different bonuses. Ebiten will give a Snufkin keyholder, Rakuten a Moominmamma keyholder, Bookoff a postcard and sticker sheet, and Amazon a pop-up card of the theater.

While Kakehashi Games is only going to release the physical edition of Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley in Japan, the Nintendo Switch does not have a region lock. This means that people from outside of Japan will be able to play it as well. You will have to import it though. Because of the bonuses, it might be a good item to purchase for fans of Moomin.
