The modding scene is full of fans who bring their favorite characters, weapons, outfits, vehicles, and even UI elements to other games. It’s completely normal and expected, and I’m always delighted to see when it happens! I dove back into Stardew Valley now that I started playing it on a PC and noticed something unusual, however, and that is that there is an absolutely shocking number of mods based on Jujutsu Kaisen

Yes, of course some of these Jujutsu Kaisen mods mean characters like Satoru Gojo are dateable in Stardew Valley. I mean, of course.

Some of these are absolutely well-made jokes. Yujis-Hat’s Horse Gojo is one of them. It makes the horse look like Gojo is running around on all fours with a saddle on his back. (No judgment.) The same can be said for hanbweh’s Jujutsu Cats - Gojo and Geto, which gives you options like a black cat with eyes constantly shut or a white cat with Gojo’s sunglasses. These are there more to make you laugh or smile when you see them.

However, there’s also an extraordinary dedicated collection of Jujutsu Kaisen Stardew Valley mods not only dedicated to bringing the characters into the game, but making them available in multiple languages so more of us can enjoy them. Of course, Satoru Gojo is a romance option, thanks to a Cursedcure mod. It’s also available in languages like Bahasa Indonesian (Shofiyul), Russian (koten0k92) and Chinese (Mangusten). Want to date Suguru Geto? You have a season two option from hanbweh or one based on his other appearance throughout the series by kryptonimus. Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki aren’t popular enough to be a fan-made Stardew Valley romance option (yet), but Yujis-Hat made a Yuji Itadori one and Loonimae added Toge Inumaki to help represent Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School.

I’m Shocked at the Wealth of Stardew Valley Jujutsu Kaisen Mods
Image via kryptonimus

There are so many Jujutsu Kaisen character mods for Stardew Valley, it’s honestly just easier if I list them. You know, keep anyone from being left out.

The thing is, there isn’t that same array for other anime and manga. Interested in Naruto? There’s a Kakashi NPC from MadaraAnggara. Like One Piece? All you can find is Luffy’s straw hat from Mayvis Delacour

It’s fascinating to see how of the Stardew Valley community really embraced Jujutsu Kaisen to mod it into the game. Especially since such an array of characters ended up making it in. Honestly, I’m hoping we end up seeing more of the cast get a chance to show up.

Stardew Valley is available for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PCs, mobile devices, and the PlayStation Vita, with 1.6 available on all platforms except the Vita.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Culling Game Arc Will Be the Best Season 444a66 https://siliconera.voiranime.info/jujutsu-kaisen-season-3-culling-game-arc-will-be-the-best-season/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=jujutsu-kaisen-season-3-culling-game-arc-will-be-the-best-season https://siliconera.voiranime.info/jujutsu-kaisen-season-3-culling-game-arc-will-be-the-best-season/#respond <![CDATA[Cody Perez]]> Sat, 04 Jan 2025 20:00:00 +0000 <![CDATA[Anime]]> <![CDATA[Featured]]> <![CDATA[Europe]]> <![CDATA[Japan]]> <![CDATA[Jujutsu Kaisen]]> <![CDATA[MAPPA]]> <![CDATA[North America]]> <![CDATA[Playtests]]> https://siliconera.voiranime.info/?p=1071862 <![CDATA[

Jujutsu Kaisen Culling Game Anime, Compilation Movie Announced

Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the most popular, best anime series in recent memory. It is certainly the next shonen to take the mantle of best around from the likes of Demon Slayer and My Hero Academia. While Season 2 was exceptional and a large improvement over the first season, the best is yet to come with Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3’s adaptation of the Culling Game Arc.

The longest story arc of the entire series is almost here. There are a couple of shorter arcs that will need to be taken care of first in Season 3, but the star of the show will be the arrival of the Culling Game Arc. I won’t spoil too much here, but there are some light spoilers ahead. As the name implies, this is pretty much a jujutsu sorcerer battle royale. If you liked Dragon Ball Super’s Tournament of Power, this is for you.

Image via MAPPA

It mixes together some of my favorite themes together at once. You get the usual extraordinary action and art this series is known for. In addition, though, you get a healthy dose of death games, which is my favorite category of media in general. That is, of course, if fans can get through the rough parts of the initial few episodes.

The highs of Season 2 are going to lead to some new lows at the start of the new season. The couple of shorter arcs following the aftermath of the Shibuya Incident are forgettable at best. This is mainly since they are there to set up the final portion of this beloved series. But if you are able to get past these weaker episodes, Season 3 will likely be the best season yet.

Some of the series’ best fights ever happen during the Culling Game Arc. Some of the fan-favorite characters go up against each other in shocking ways. I actually appreciate the structure of the arc, too, dividing up the main cast in different locations. This allows the death game to feel better focused than it otherwise would.

Sure, this does mean, though, that you will likely go without seeing some characters. This was particularly noticeable in the manga, as it dragged on a bit longer than it should have. This is why the Vs. Mahito Arc is still my personal favorite in the series since it accomplished so much in such a short time. That said, I think the Culling Game Arc will work much better in anime form. The pacing should be much stronger and faster than in the original manga’s release. It helps, too, that the consistent weekly release schedule will keep fans interested.

When does chapter 237 of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga appear?

The one element that might hold back Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 is MAPPA. Season 2 had some exceptional animation, but the studio also showed some visual flaws towards the end. I am concerned about the workload for the animators and the stress that is on them. If Season 3 comes out in 2025, which I expect it to, this is a pretty fast turnaround. I am a bit worried if the animation quality will get the attention the Culling Game Arc deserves.

That said, if Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 does find a way to balance a healthy work schedule with quality, this will easily be the best season yet. Without spoiling too much, I even think it will be better than the inevitable final arc of the series that comes after. There is so much that happens during this arc that will shake the core of the anime community. Even with the likes of My Hero Academia’s final season and the Demon Slayer final movie trilogy ahead in 2025, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 could still stand toe-to-toe with them and be the best season of the series, if done right.

Jujutsu Kaisen is streaming currently on Crunchyroll.

Fairy Tail 2

Fairy Tail 2 is a surprising sequel to a highly underrated turn-based JRPG adaptation of a popular anime and manga series. With the release of this particular massive JRPG, it is now time to look towards the future. We get anime adaptations all the time, but so few delve into the RPG genre as much as they should. Let’s talk about the next anime RPG we should get.

There are only a few modern anime JRPGs in recent memory, from Fairy Tail 2 to Dragon Ball Kakarot to One Piece Odyssey and so on. This is a trend that needs to continue and for more game series. I am, personally, a bit too annoyed with all the fighting game adaptations, so here are the Siliconera staff’s picks for the next anime RPG.

Siliconera Speaks Up: New Anime RPG We Want Next 1g1d3g

I'd honestly love to see a Jujutsu Kaisen JRPG. Yes, I get why Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash happened. The series would adapt well to a fighting game. But we've seen Inuyasha, Bleach, and Naruto RPGs that worked well. Why not do that with this series too? -- Jenni

A good old turn-based RPG is the best way to adapt most anime series into games, in my opinion. I feel like a turn-based RPG version of Dr. Stone would be a bit of an oddball option but spectacular. Despite being post-apocalyptic, it has some fantasy vibes going on. Plus, crafting could be a huge part of the game as you are inventing ideas and creations to help the society. Plus, the cast could be ginormous with many different party to use in battle. Some alternative options for a modern, localized RPG would be Sailor Moon, Hunter x Hunter, and Eighty-Six (strategy RPG). -- Cody

Fairy Tail 2 is available right now for PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

jujutsu kaisen glasses

Zoff will release a collection of glasses based on the characters from Jujutsu Kaisen. You can pre-order them now, and they’ll also appear in Zoff’s digital and physical stores from December 13, 2024. [Thanks, PR Times!]

There are five Jujutsu Kaisen glasses variations in total. You’ll be able to get glasses that draw inspiration from Yuji, Fushiguro, Kugisaki, Gojo, and Nanami. The frames generally use the color palettes of the characters’ respective Cursed Techniques. For example, Yuji’s frames are the same color as his Black Flash and the design tries to emulate the sense of strength the technique has. Gojo’s frames are thinner than the others to represent Infinity, and there are red-and-blue designs to look like his abilities.

jujutsu kaisen glasses

The Jujutsu Kaisen manga ended with the final chapter 271, and now you can read the ending worldwide for free.

The story of Jujutsu Kaisen is over, as the final manga ending chapter 271 brought up the end of the series. People can now read it in English worldwide via sites like MangaPlus and Viz Media. Both sites offer chapters 1-3 and chapters 269-271 for free. However, you must pay to read chapters 4-268.

For those who haven’t been keeping up, the last few chapters not only concluded the series as a whole, but offers resolution for the Shinjuku Showdown arc of the story. As such, chapters 270 and 271 act as more of an epilogue. We get an idea of what Yuji Itadori and his allies will be doing going forward, now that the threats present throughout the mainline series are absent. The tone is decidedly lighter than other chapters over the past few months.

As for when we’ll see the physical release of the final Jujutsu Kaisen manga volume, the ending for it is uncertain. Viz Media’s last released volume was 23, which debuted on August 20, 2024. That covers chapters 200-208. Volume 24 will launch on December 10, 2024. That covers chapters 209 through 217. The next volume to appear in Japan will be 28. It compiles chapters 246-254, and people there will see it on October 4, 2024.

We should learn more about what is next for creator Gege Akutami and the anime adaptations in the next few months. Shueisha already confirmed that the series will be at Jump Festa 2025 in December 2024. It will be at Jump Super Stage Red, alongside other staples like Chainsaw Man, My Hero Academia, One Piece, and Spy x Family.

The Jujutsu Kaisen manga is now finished as of chapter 271. there are no worldwide releases for the final volumes yet. The anime is streaming on Crunchyroll.

Nobara Kugisaki Gets Her Moment in Jujutsu Kaisen

In a series where characters like Yuji Itadori and Satoru Gojo routinely steal the show, Jujutsu Kaisen’s Nobara Kugisaki doesn’t always get a chance to stand out. Considering the events of the Shibuya Incident Arc and chapters leading up to the series’ conclusion in September 2024, I was honestly pissed! I love who she is and her signature Straw Doll Technique. It seemed like Gege Akutami was about to do her wrong. Fortunately, chapter 267 of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga pulled Nobara Kugisaki into the spotlight.

Editor’s Note: There will be spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen up through chapter 268. 491b53

Nobara always had drive and ambition in Jujutsu Kaisen. From the very beginning, we see her determination. She got out of her small town and reached Tokyo, determined to reunite with her friend Saori and get out of that village. She pushes herself and shows she’s as strong as Megumi Fushiguro and Yuji. Perhaps even at times she’s even more unwavering. After all, she used her Straw Doll technique nails on herself to help defeat Eso and Kechizu during the Death Painting Arc and how she went after Mahito during the Shibuya Incident Arc.

It was at that point that I felt like Akutami decided to make an example of Nobara. After all, it’s going after Mahito that resulted in what seemed to be her demise. In chapters 124, 125, and 126, we see the results of her ignoring Kento Nanami’s directive to stay and wait to be rescued. She’s determined to do as much as people like Yuji are, and chases down one of Mahito’s doubles. For a while, it works! She reunites with Yuji, and their combined forces make it seem like they have a chance. Mahito touches her, unleashing Idle Transfiguration. We see her lose an eye, potentially more, in the process, and then she just… disappears.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Z4xJ6Is0zQ

I don’t mean literally. Figuratively. Akutami just… doesn’t talk about her again. It felt wrong. I hated it. Nobara was an important part of the Tokyo Jujutsu High “team.” Her Straw Doll Technique was an incredible idea, given how she could use damage done to the doll with nails and her hammer. There were so many more great applications of that and her Hairpin technique that we could have seen used in unusual ways during fights. Especially since her fearless nature and ion meant she would consider doing damage to herself if it meant succeeding against her enemy. Moreover, the fact that it happened and she was just gone, never brought up again, didn’t seem right. We didn’t have that proper closure.

So chapter 267 of Jujutsu Kaisen was an absolute delight. Seeing Nobara alive was an absolute joy. Especially considering we had no idea what happened and Yuji and Megumi are already in dire straights due to Ryomen Sukuna. But then seeing Yuji is missing two fingers instead of one, and that everyone all along had been counting on Nobara to wake up and use her Straw Doll Technique to again be part of the solution to cut Sukuna down, was priceless. Watching her Resonance hit him was so satisfying. “You better be happy, boys!” Akutami, you have no idea.

https://twitter.com/shonenjump/status/1827724368958431654

Of course, this is Jujutsu Kaisen, and Akutami is still putting us through the ringer as it draws to a close. So things naturally get harrowing in chapter 268. We get to see the three first-years reunite! Megumi is fighting back against Sukuna’s possession and influence. Yuji is there. Nobara is assisting in the fight. However, we also see Sukuna hit back, with Nobara once again falling victim of a harrowing Jujutsu Kaisen foe. The nail she used on Yuji’s finger backfires and go straight into her own forehead, exposing the Mahito wound in the process. It’s a shocking, stark parallel to watch happened to her before. However, we see her rebound and, alongside Yuji and Megumi, succeed. I found it an amazing parallel to the events of 126. It's clearly similarly life threatening! However, this time her own power and awareness, as well as that of others, meant things went right when it mattered most.

What will eventually happen to Nobara Kugisaki, as well as Yuji, Megumi, and the rest of the cast of Jujutsu Kaisen, remains to be seen. After all, we have until the end of September 2024 until the manga ends. But at least we have this major moment for her in chapter 267! There was this point of redemption for her, and perhaps for Gege Akutami as well. Rather than being someone forgotten while her classmates got to go on to greater strengths and notoriety, we got to be reminded of how critical and amazing she was yet again.

Viz Media handles the Jujutsu Kaisen manga outside Japan. You can also read it on MangaPlus. The anime is streaming on Crunchyroll.

Six Best Jujutsu Kaisen Nendoroid to Buy

As the Jujutsu Kaisen ends in September 2024, now is the best time to buy figures to add to your collection to celebrate the series. Good Smile Company produced a plethora of Jujutsu Kaisen Nendoroids to choose from over the years. To help alleviate the burden of choice, here are some of the best Jujutsu Kaisen Nendoroids you can buy or pre-order in 2024

Maki Zen'in Jujutsu Kaisen Nendoroid

Maki Zen’in Nendoroid 3p1q48

Whether you like Jujutsu Kaisen 0 prequel or the original series, Maki stands out. The Nendoroid based on her comes with three face plates, a crushed can, kunai, polearm, and the Playful Cloud weapon. She can be posed ready for battle or general fun. If you use the kunai, you can make it seem like the Nendoroid is actually throwing it. The Maki Zen’in Nendoroid goes for $55.99.

Gojo Best Jujutsu Nendoroid

Satoru Gojo Nendoroid 361f4i

Speaking of that Jujutsu Kaisen 0 prequel, there is a Nendoroid of Satoru Gojo inspired by his look back then. You can tell because of the white bandages over his eyes, rather than his sunglasses from his school days or mask from his Jujutsu Kaisen era. This figure comes with three face plates, a blindfold, hair up and down pieces, shades, and twisted knife accessories. This Gojo Nendoroid costs $86.99.

Sukuna Best Jujutsu Kaisen Nendoroid
Images via Good Smile Company

Ryomen Sukuna Nendoroid 29232q

Listen, I know we all have thoughts about Sukuna after the Shinjuku Showdown Arc. So maybe that's why you want him around? The Sukuna Nendoroid features three face plates, a Malevolent Shrine poster, and a cow skull. One of the main reasons this figure is worth the $54.99 price tag is due to the details on the face plates. The markings are extremely detailed. There is even a face plate that has Sukuna’s second pair of eyes opening.

Panda Nendoroid Best Jujutsu Figure
Images via Good Smile Company

Panda Nendoroid 2j3

Instead of featuring three face plates like other Nendoroids, this Panda is only bundled with two. One features him growling, and another is his typical smiling face. To make up for that, it comes with an additional figure depicting him as a baby. You also get an armband, balloon, and a “Panda” sign. The cuteness of the Nendoroid figures lend well to Panda! The main reason to pick this up is it essentially comes with two figures in one package. The Panda Nendoroid is well worth the $60.99 price.

Yuji Best Nendoroid for Jujutsu Kaisen

Yuji Itadori Nendoroid 2v3q2x

You can't have a list like this without the hero of the series himself. The Yuji Itadori Nendoroid includes three face plates, Sukuna’s Finger, and the Divergent Fist. While Divergent Fist doesn't glow like the anime, the grooves are molded in such a way that it looks like ghostly fire is attached to the hands of the figure. The Yuji Itadori Nendoroid usually goes for $51.99.

Gojo High School Best Jujutsu

Satoru Gojo Nendoroid (Tokyo Jujutsu High School Ver.) 4h485k

Even though he is not the main protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen, Satoru Gojo’s popularity makes him a prime target for merchandise. This Nendoroid has four face plates, a cell phone, sunglasses, and detachable pockets. The detachable pockets are the main reason this figure is so fun. You can really put together some fun, carefree, and maybe even arrogant poses. The re-run of this Satoru Gojo Nendoroid is currently up for preorder ahead of a March 31, 2025 release at $46.99

Despite feeling like it just started yesterday, the Jujutsu Kaisen is nearing its end. In fact, the manga might already be over by the time you read this if you wait until September 2024. Without a doubt, it is one of the most extraordinary shonen manga series in a long time. But I still feel the best part and arc of Jujutsu Kaisen is the beginning, consisting of arcs like Cursed Child, Fearsome Womb, and Vs. Mahito, that kicks things off..

In hindsight, the beginning of Jujutsu Kaisen feels so different from the rest of the series. It initially kicks off in an almost horrific way. The weakness of Yuji Itadori against the curses he suddenly discovers is so fascinating. In addition, the gore felt so surprising and in stark contrast to the other, similar shonen series running at the time.

While elements of this introduction carried on throughout the rest of the series, such as the gory action, things eventually change. Gege Akutami pursues such a different vibe from the Kyoto Arc forward in Jujutsu Kaisen. Perhaps the greatest example of this is the more personal and focused nature of the early arcs of the series. It isn’t all about citywide destruction and unlocking new powers.

Instead, the beginning of Jujutsu Kaisen that starts with the Cursed Child arc is simply about surviving excruciating missions against curses. The main characters, especially Yuji, have genuine character development due to their new circumstances. My personal favorite part of the entire series happens during the Vs. Mahito Arc. It's when the villain really appears for the first time. The initial impression is incredible, and only builds from there.

Mahito’s unhinged, terrifying nature is on full display here in a way that stings even more than his appearances later in the series. He feels like one of the most horrifying anime villains in a long time. We witness a man that is willing to massacre anyone and anything in his path. Worse still, he feels unstoppable at this point.

To make it even better, my favorite character in the series, Junpei, gets his moment here. Junpei is by far one of the most complex characters in Jujutsu Kaisen. His relationship with Yuji still feels like the most emotional for the protagonist, even as we near the end. It is here that Yuji is pushed to his limits and grows as a character in a much more natural way.

Jujutsu Kaisen best story arc and part

This isn’t to say there is no development for Yuji later on. In fact, it’s quite the contrary. My only issue with Jujutsu Kaisen is sometimes the character development and deaths Akutami used feel too forced or there just for shock value. Don’t get me wrong, I adore the onslaught of twists and turns.

But I also prefer the centralized nature of these early arcs. The twists in the beginning of Jujutsu Kaisen are fewer and far between. This allows them breathing room to have enough attention and development. As such, they are still the most effective surprises and tragic character deaths, in my opinion.

This idea extends to Jujutsu Kaisen 0 as well. Yuta and Rika’s tale is a heartbreaking one that has the same level of focus and emotional resonance as the early parts of the main series. It isn’t to say that I don’t love Jujutsu Kaisen. In fact, it is quite the opposite. It took time but I adore this series.

Jujutsu Kaisen is by far the best in its category of new gen shonen series by a long shot. It just took time for me to realize that the crux of the series is over-the-top bombastic fights and shock after shock. Once I accepted this, I found this series has the best action out of any other similar series.

Image via MAPPA

In fact, Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the only series of the more mature, gory side of shonen manga to not lose itself in the latter half. I find this to be a huge issue with other similar series like Attack on Titan and Chainsaw Man that almost lost me entirely.

Honestly, I don’t look forward to the end of Jujutsu Kaisen because I’ve enjoyed it so much as a whole. I just still prefer the earlier parts of the manga. This is where Yuji Itadori captivated me as the most compelling shonen protagonist in a long time. He isn’t the typical savior of the world or guy rising from nothing.

Instead, almost everyone hates him and wants him dead. This only made me root for him more in these earlier story arcs. As we near the end of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, I can’t help but reminiscence fondly about this time. After all, it still feels like the best part of the series for me.

The Jujutsu Kaisen manga is available to read on Viz Media and Manga Plus. The anime adaptation is streaming on Crunchyroll.

Jujustu Kaisen Manga Final Trailer

A new manga trailer for Jujutsu Kaisen has been released, paying tribute to the series' characters as the story nears its conclusion. The video, available on the official Shonen Jump YouTube channel, features a mix of iconic scenes and heartwarming moments from the manga.

You can view the official trailer video below:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GSIFAgYz3M

The trailer, presented as an edited motion comic, culminates in a face-off between Sukuna and Itadori Yuuji, highlighting the dramatic stakes the series has taken on as it approaches it's final five chapters. In addition to the manga trailer, Shueisha announced they are offering 245 chapters of Jujutsu Kaisen for free on the Jump+ app and Zeblack platform. This initiative allows readers to relive key moments or catch up on the series as it heads towards its conclusion.

This trailer follows a similar style to a previous teaser released for the third season of the anime, which focused on the Culling Game arc. That teaser used stylized manga animation and video editing to give a preview of the anime adaptation of the arc.

With only five chapters left until the finale, the trailer serves as a poignant reminder of the journey the characters have been on and the challenges that still lie ahead.

Jujutsu Kaisen manga will end in September 2024

The Jujutsu Kaisen manga series will conclude at the end of September 2024. Shueisha has announced via the franchise's official social media that it will publish the final episode of the manga on Monday, September 30, 2024. Given that it is simultaneously released worldwide via MangaPlus and Viz Media, it should appear worldwide shortly after.

Shueisha will publish the 44th issue of the 2024 Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on that day. This issue will contain the 271st episode of Jujutsu Kaisen, which will also mark the end of the manga series. In addition, the company noted that there are five more chapters scheduled for the manga.

The conclusion of Jujutsu Kaisen in 2024 has been expected for a while, though. The series' author Gege Akutami announced at Jump Festa 2024 in mid-December 2023 that this could have been the title's last appearance during its active serialization at the annual event.

Here is the original Japanese tweet announcing the manga series' conclusion on Jujutsu Kaisen's official Japanese X :

https://twitter.com/jujutsu_PR/status/1825491651210641499

Gege Akutami's Jujutsu Kaisen first appeared in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in the 14th issue of 2018 published on March 5, 2018. Shueisha has published 27 tankobon volumes of the manga as of July 2024, with the 28th volume scheduled for release on October 4, 2024.

The anime adaptation, which first launched in 2020, has also received the “Most in-demand animated TV show in the World” record in the 2025 Guinness World Records, as it has sured even the likes of One Piece and Attack on Titan. In July 2024, TOHO Animation published a teaser trailer for the anime's third season, which will cover the Culling Game arc.

The 271st episode of Jujutsu Kaisen, which also acts as the final episode of the manga series, will be published on September 30, 2024.
