Good Smile Company started pre-orders for the next new Fire Emblem: Three Houses figure, which is a figma of the female version of Byleth. She’ll debut in June 2026 in Japan, followed by a worldwide release. This one costs ￥12,800/$90.99.

As this is a figma, Byleth will be about six inches tall, be fully articulated. She will come with accessories from Fire Emblem: Three Houses. There will be three face plates representing a neutral expression, a smiling one, and one in which she is angrily shouting. She comes with one weapon, which is the Sword of the Creator, though there is also an additional effect part to show the fiery whip form of it. Multiple pairs of hands are also included for different poses.

We’ve seen quite a few Fire Emblem Byleth figures from Good Smile Company, and they represent both the male and female avatars. For example, Pop Up Parade versions of each one showed up in the more affordable, static, non-scale line.

Level-5 announced that there will be free Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time Update the World DLC released worldwide. The CEO Akihiro Hino brought it up on social media, and the official website updated soon after. The statements noted it is due to how many people bought it on various platforms and ed the game. There’s no release window for it yet, though the site noted the goal is for it to appear “as soon as possible.”

There are no exact details about what we can expect from this add-on yet. However, it seems like some of the Fantasy Life i free DLC will involve endgame or post-game additions. Part of the Update the World additions specifically mention activities that will involve using “high-rarity weapons” and different types of later gear to complete them. 

The other part of it sounds like it could mean more gear, furniture, or food items. Level-5 confirmed more recipes will be a part of the update. These are needed for every one of the game’s crafting Lives to create new equipment, furniture, food, potions, mounts, and cosmetic items.

While we wait for the free DLC, Level-5 is sharing free content for Fantasy Life i in other ways. There is a Gift section in the in-game menu, and entering codes there allows us to get free items. These are things we can craft, find, or buy in-game normally. So far, two codes appeared the week the game launched. Note that if you’re on the Switch, you need Nintendo Switch Online to redeem them. 

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is available now worldwide for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and it will also come to the Switch 2. There's no release window yet for the eventual free DLC.

At MCM London Comic Con 2025, Yen Press announced it will release the Love Bullet manga in English and will release a Complete Box Set of Fruits Basket. The first volume of the yuri manga and box set will both appear in November 2025, though there’s no exact release date for either one yet. 

In the case of Love Bullet, it’s a series from inee about a young woman named Koharu. After she dies, following a confession from her best friend Aki, she becomes one of the Cupids who helps people fall in love. As they spread happiness, they might eventually be able to get a chance to become a human again. Koharu now works alongside Kanna, Chiyo, and Ena to spread love and solve problems with romance.

Inee shared the following image on social media to celebrate the English Love Bullet manga localization announcement.

As for the Yen Press Fruits Basket: The Complete Set release, that will feature all 23 volumes of the manga series. The announcement also confirmed lenticular cards will be included with it.

Two other manga were confirmed as part of the Yen Press MCM London Comic Con 2025 reveals. One is The Terrifying Students at Ghoul School. The anime for that is already appearing worldwide on Crunchyroll. The other is The Girl Past the Filters. Both will also appear in November 2025.

Kidrobot announced that it will release a new pair of Sonic the Hedgehog series plush that pairs up Shadow with Maria Robotnik. The duo is expected to debut in Q4 2025. The official site already opened pre-orders, and the set costs $34.99.

While we’ve seen multiple incarnations of Shadow the Hedgehog and Maria Robotnik, the appearances of the two plush are designed to resemble them from the recent release Sonic x Shadow Generations. Each one of them is seven and a half inches tall. They can be displayed separately or together, as they aren’t connected. However, Kidrobot noted that Shadow’s left hand and Maria’s right hand both have magnets inside of them. So if you do place them next to each other, they can hold hands in a nod to a scene that’s appeared in both games and the third live-action movie.

Ahead of the debut of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater in August 2025, Konami shared the opening movie that includes the new version of the theme song. The company also confirmed that Cynthia Harrell is again performing “Snake Eater,” as she returned to rerecord the classic track. 

While the song is familiar, the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater opening movie is new. Konami noted Kyle Cooper rearranged and did it. There will also be ways to interact with it, though Konami didn’t say exactly what will change as we watch and press buttons during it. 

The video begins with newspapers setting the stage for the Cold War story before showing Naked Snake in different situations from the game. Other major characters like Colonel Yevgeny Borisovitch Volgin, The Fear, The End, and The Boss also appear. Also, at the 1:30 mark you can actually see Naked Snake eating a snake that he cooked over a fire.

We’ve seen quite a few updates before this latest reveal. For example, Konami shared the Japanese collector’s edition back in April 2025. That includes a bust of Naked Snake you can display and a FOX Unit patch you can add to clothing. 

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will come to the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on August 28, 2025. The original game appeared on the PS2, and Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D appeared on the 3DS.

Uniqlo announced it will sell shirts based on Pokemon Trading Card Game and Pokemon TCG Pocket, with both adult and kids styles appearing in August 2025. The official Japanese site updated showing the nine men’s designs, which are unisex items, and the eight kids options. 

The adult Uniqlo Pokemon Trading Card Game and TCG Pocket designs are divided into five t-shirts and four sweatshirts. In each case, they’ll be available in sizes XS (extra small) through XXXXL. Each shirt is ¥1,500 (~$11), and the sweatshirts are ¥2,990 (~$21). Designs feature characters like Gardevoir, Gengar, Kabuto, Magikarp, Mewtwo Omanyte, Pikachu, Slowpoke, Snorlax, Unown. In the case of the Gardevoir shirt and the Gengar and Mewtwo sweatshirts, the design is on the back.

As for the kids styles, there are four t-shirts and four sweatshirts. They can be found in children’s sizes 3-4y (100) to 13y (160). The shirts cost ¥990 (~$7) each, while the sweatshirts are ¥1,990 (~$14). In some cases, they feature designs similar to the adult options, such as with Pikachu and Mewtwo. However, the Charizard, Eevee, Lucario, Lapras, Mew, and Mimikyu styles are only available in the kids collection.

The US Uniqlo site isn’t showing any of these new shirts yet. However, it does show some of the other Pokemon Sketch style items already available. Since these types of collections do tend to show up everywhere, it might launch at or around the same time.

The Uniqlo Pokemon Trading Card Game and TCG Pocket shirts will show up in Japan in August 2025. It is unknown when we might start to see the designs appear in-stores and online worldwide. Pokemon TCG Pocket is available on mobile devices.

Miku is the one who appears on the most products, and some items are only available with her on them.

Sunrise and Kadokawa have launched the new spin-off manga based on Gundam: The Witch From Mercury. The full title of the new manga is Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury - Frontiers in Glory Days, and it is immediately available in Japanese on Comic Walker.

The companies had previously unveiled the spin-off manga in late December 2024 with the Japanese subtitle Seishun Frontier, which could be translated to "Adolescent Frontier." While today's release matched the promised Spring 2025 window, the Japanese chapter revealed Frontiers in Glory Days as the official English subtitle.

This spin-off manga notably changes all the locations so that it takes place entirely on a near-future Earth. The Asticassia School of Technology is now located in the existing Japanese prefecture of Kanagawa. Suletta is alternatively depicted as coming from Alaska, even though she retains her Mercury surname. Her mother also instead goes on a business trip to South America to oversee the launch of an explorer spacecraft.

The last page of the inaugural chapter teases the appearance of "Aerial," which shares the same name as the original title's flagship mech, XVX-016 Gundam Aerial. This teaser comes from a chat message sent by Suletta's elder sister in English to further reinforce the new setting of the Mercury family residing in Alaska.

The first chapter of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury - Frontiers in Glory Days is readily available to read in Japanese on Comic Walker. The second chapter will appear on the same platform on June 27, 2025.

In Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, we can enter codes for gifts after playing for a bit to immediately gain extra items or rewards. While the game only debuted on May 21, 2025, Level-5 already started sharing some of these, with two available so far. The goal for the first two releases seems to be to build up item reserves quickly and easily without spending Dosh or doing some crafting.

How do I redeem codes for gifts in Fantasy Life i?  13193i

After getting through the tutorial and taking on your first of many Lives, you’ll be able to open up the Weird Pad (menu) and find a Gifts section. Going to that will let you enter an eight-digit code to get some items to make adventuring a little easier. However, note that you do need to be online to redeem any of them. Note that on the Switch and eventual Switch 2 versions, Level-5 said you will need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription to redeem codes.

After connecting to the internet, type in the code with the keyboard. Once you hit accept, the item will be given to you. You don’t need to go to the Guild Office box to get them like you did the Deluxe Edition items.

HoYoVerse announced what we can expect from the 2.0 update to Zenless Zone Zero and, in addition to the Xbox Series X version, new story, and new region, we each will get to choose a free S-Rank character and S-Rank W-Engine. There will also be activities that essentially give players enough currency and items for three ten-pulls on the gacha, as we can earn 1,600 Polychromes that could be put toward either the Star-Studded Cast Stable Channel banner or limited Signal Searches. Free costumes for Belle and Wise will also be available to earn as rewards in Zenless Zone Zero as well. Everything kicks off on June 6, 2025.

First, we actually get to pick which free S-Rank character and W-Engine we want in Zenless Zone Zero after 2.0 arrives. Here’s the list of all playable units we can choose from, as well as their factions, attributes, and specialties:

New and returning characters appearing in 2.0 also came up, as the next Zenless Zone Zero Agents were confirmed. The three Yunkui Summit characters, as mentioned before, are Yixuan, Ju Fufu, and Pan Yinhu. Pan Yinhu is the only A-Rank one, as the others are S-Rank. Yixuan, returning character Astra Yao, and Pan Yinhu will be available at launch in 2.0, while Ju Fufu and returning Agent Caesar will appear in the second part of the update.

A new system in Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma will allow players to use a technique to travel between worlds and timelines to pursue additional romance options with the bachelors and bachelorettes you can marry. You’ll be able to go to an "alternate future," where you have a new partner, all without losing any of your progress.

While Marvelous didn't update the English version of Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma website yet to include the localized name of this mechanic, the Japanese name literally translates to “Technique to Travel Between Worlds.” With this feature, you can go to alternate timelines with a new partner, all without having to lose your current family, level, or inventory. You can travel freely between worlds, and each save data can have up to thirty different timelines. This gives you the opportunity to explore the twelve different romance options in Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma without having to completely restart your progress or give up a current love affair with one of the other bachelors or bachelorettes.

Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma is the latest entry in the long-running Rune Factory series. This spin-off features a Japanese-inspired setting, and there are two protagonists you can choose from. The gender of your protagonist does limit romance options in Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma, as all love interests can be married regardless of your choice. Marvelous first revealed this game during the August 2024 Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase. 

Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma will come out for the Nintendo Switch and WIndows PC via Steam on May 30, 2025.

Kaiyodo announced some new Dead or Alive 6 figures, and they’ll be based on recurring DOA heroines Honoka and Marie Rose. Both are early in development, as the manufacturer only shared teasers for both on social media. These announcements were in both Japanese and English, so it is likely they are being prepared for a worldwide release. The company often does that, especially with its Revoltech figures.

At the moment, only official images of the characters based on their appearances in Dead or Alive 6 appeared, which suggests each of them will be depicted in their official, default costumes from that installment. The reveal also confirmed these will be 1/7 scale figures. This means they will likely be around 10 inches tall.

Some of Kaiyodo’s last Koei Tecmo figures involved Revoltech Ninja Gaiden ones.

One of the last Dead or Alive figures involved the DOA XVV version of Marie Rose based on her appearance in Azur Lane. That is a part of the Koei Tecmo KT Model+ brand. It is only a 1/6 one though. It is expected to release in December 2025. 

Dead or Alive 6 is available on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and the Kaiyodo DOA figures based on Honoka and Marie Rose are in development.

Paramount announced a number of anime Pluto TV free marathons for May 2025 and the Memorial Day weekend, and one of them involves the Naruto movies. That will appear on the Anime Movies channel between May 24-25, 2025. 

One of the Pluto TV marathons is running now. Until May 25, 2025, Speed Racer is showing up on the Anime All Day channel. This is only available with the original Japanese voice acting and English subtitles. 

Some of the Pluto TV anime marathons start on May 24, 2025, heading into the Memorial Day weekend. One is the aforementioned Naruto movies one. Paramount didn’t mention which films will be shown. Since it did specifically mention Naruto, that could mean the 2015 Boruto one won’t be among them. However, we will likely see ones such as Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow. The Anime x HIDIVE channel will hold a My Teen Romantic Comedy Snafu marathon on May 24, 2025 as well.

The next Pokemon TCG Pocket expansion pack drops on May 29, 2025, and Extradimensional Crisis focuses on Ultra Beasts and Pokemon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon. There will also be an in-game binder based on the Ultra Beasts in the shop that same day. A trailer teased some of the new cards and characters that will shop up as well. 

The video began with a look at the Buzzwole ex Ultra Beast card. It’s a grass-type with Punch and Big Beat attacks. Art of the character also appears on the booster pack packaging. The other Ultra Beasts shown in the Pokemon TCG Pocket Extradimensional Crisis include Blacephalon, Celesteela, Guzzlord ex, Kartana, Naganadel, Nihilego, Phermosa, Stakataka, and Xurkitree. Alongside them, other characters and creatures that first appeared in those 3DS games like Alolan Diglett, Lusamine, Rowlet, Shiinotic, Tapu Koko ex, Type: Null, and Zeraora will appear on cards.

This is the second Pokemon Sun and Moon era expansion to appear in the game. At the end of April, the Celestial Guardians one showed up. That focused on some of the more general characters, the Lunala and Solgaleo lines, and the Tapu guardian deities.

The SuperGroupies Protagonist Model Trench Coat based on the one Will wears throughout Metaphor: ReFantazio is the more expensive of the two items at $299.99, and it is also the one that most resembles the actual jacket that is close enough to the real costume that it could be used for cosplay. It is a double-breasted style with a light white and grey plaid print. There’s a belt at the waist, and there is an optional, removable throat tab designed to resemble the armor at the neck in-game. The interior tag resembles the novel our avatar carries, and there’s a reference to Gallica with a gold silhouette on the inside as well. It is available in sizes medium through XXL. It is also a unisex style, so anyone can wear it.

The $239.99 Protagonist Model Shoulder Bag is inspired by the one Will carries throughout Metaphor: ReFantazio. It’s not an exact replica, however. It is about a foot tall and is over 15 inches wide. It comes with a shoulder strap that is about 55 inches long, so you can wear it cross-body. It can hold B4 size papers and books. It also has a tag inside that resembles the novel in the game and matches the tag in the coat.

This isn’t the only SuperGroupies item that could be used everyday or for cosplay. The Vash coat in the Trigun Stampede collection could be as well.

Pre-orders for the Metaphor: ReFantazio Protagonist Model Trench Coat and Shoulder Bag are open until June 15, 2025, and the items that can be worn everyday or used for cosplay will launch in late November 2025.
