The Sonic the Hedgehog X (formerly Twitter) official shared pictures of the collaboration cafe with Hololive Vtuber Inugami Korone. The cafe is located in Shinjuku, Tokyo and will be open until January 13, 2025.

In the pictures, the cafe attendants can be seen interacting with Inugami Korone herself, who made a special virtual appearance as the store's “manager” for one day. Additionally, the pictures show the new Shadow themed decoration, featuring Korone in her previously revealed Shadow outfit alongside the Ultimate Lifeform himself.

The 2024 edition of the cafe returned on December 13, 2024 with new decoration featuring Shadow the Hedgehog to celebrate the recent release of Sonic X Shadow Generations. The café also features a variety of drinks, food, and dessert items inspired by Sonic, Shadow, and other characters from the game series, as well as Sonic’s ambassador Korone.

The Soni x Koro 2024 Cafe will be available until January 13, 2025 in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Sonic x Shadow Generations is readily available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

The Honda Racing Corporation announced that Hololive Vtuber Inugami Korone will be the ambassador for its annual Honda Racing eMS event, which is held using Gran Turismo 7. Qualifying races for the event will begin on August 2, 2024, while the final race will occur in Tokyo on December 1, 2024.

The Honda Racing eMS is an event held by Honda to promote motorsports, with 2024 being only the second time it has been held. Players can compete in Gran Turismo 7 races to get the best time, with the top 10 fastest competitors from the two categories (Under 17 and Over 18) qualifying for the final race called the GT Grand Final. Entry is now open to global participants, who can earn an in-game car livery and driver avatar by taking part. The final race will be held live in Aoyama, Tokyo, at the Honda Welcome Plaza.

Korone herself is not especially known for streaming racing games, but she has streamed herself playing Mario Kart and Assetto Corza Competizione. However, picking an ambassador not associated with racing was intentional on the part of Honda, as the company hopes it will help introduce new fans to the sport and company.

This isn't the first time Korone has acted as an ambassador for a major brand, as she is also a brand ambassador for Sonic the Hedgehog and has appeared on official Sonic merchandise. Back in February, she also designed a mini-boss enemy for the game Lords of Exile.

Qualifying races for the Honda Racing eMS 2024 featuring Inugami Korone will be held on Gran Turismo 7 beginning August 2, 2024. The final race will take place on December 1, 2024, at the Honda Welcome Plaza in Aoyama, Tokyo.

Hololive Vtuber Inugami Korone revealed that she helped design an enemy boss for the indie action platforming game Lords of Exile. The Vtuber shared the news on through her official social media , and then revealed she “secretly backed” the title on Kickstarter.

Korone was able to design a Lords of Exile boss thanks to the Boss Designer reward tier in the game’s Kickstarter campaign, which was available for 1,400€ (or approximately $1,509). The Vtuber encouraged fans to try and find the boss. Additionally, Inugami Korone shared a hint in a follow-up post about the boss that she designed for Lords of Exile, saying that it is a "small boss."

Lords of Exile is a retro-inspired 8-bit action platforming indie game in the style of classic titles like the original Castlevania games, as well as more recent ones like the two Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon games. The game was developed by solo developer SquidBit Works.

In other Korone related news, the Vtuber shared on December 2023 a Sonic the Hedgehog comic that she drew as Sonic Ambassador titled “Fast Friends Forever.”

Hololive VTuber Inugami Korone continues to love Sega icon Sonic the Hedgehog, and Sega is leaning into that relationship again this year. The company introduced a new line of Lucky Kuji lottery prizes to its merchandise lineup. The line is called SoniKoro 2023, or Sonic x Korone 2023, and features new art and images of the VTuber and the video game character. It follows up on more of Korone's activities as a brand ambassador for Sonic the Hedgehog. In 2022 Sega revealed sets of LINE stickers and SoniKoro merchandise to promote the launch of Sonic Frontiers.

Fans in Japan can the Lucky Kuji Sonic x Korone 2023 lottery by clicking on this link. Those with an can then pay to roll on a virtual lottery for prizes, which range from canvas prints and wall scrolls of Korone in her "Hedge-dog" outfit cuddling a Sonic plush to tote bags, standees, and buttons.

The main prizes in the SoniKoro 2023 prize list are large canvas prints featuring the full illustration. The prints can be hung on walls and measure 27 x 22 cm (about 10.2 x 8.5 inches).

Other prizes include B2-sized wall scrolls of the same illustrations. Special totes also feature a design of Korone sitting in a classic Sonic the Hedgehog-style logo.  Standees also feature chibi renditions of the art, as well as Korone wearing Sega hardware-themed cosplay, not unlike the Sega Hard Girls mascots.

Sega is teaming up with Hololive VTuber Inugami Korone. A new crossover promotion features a set of Sonic Frontiers LINE stickers focusing on Sega's mascot and the mascot who loves the hedgehog, Korone. The stickers are available on the LINE marketplace as the "SoniKoro Collaboration Sticker pack".

The Sonic Frontiers LINE stickers, which come in a set of 24, feature Sonic the Hedgehog and Korone interacting. She is wearing her Sonic-themed outfit, which she debuted in June 2022. At the time, Korone debuted the outfit as part of a promotion with Sega. The outfit shows her in a hoodie shaped like Sonic's head and quills, and with her normally brown hair dyed blue, like Sonic's fur. The art shows them sharing poses, playing games, and enjoying hot dogs together.

Some of the stickers include messages and expressions in Japanese and English, which s can use on LINE to signal their reactions.

The "SoniKoro" collaboration is a relatively new promotion, owed in part to Korone's recent arrival to the Sonic fandom. She first played the games on the advice of her fans in January 2021. She fell in love with the series, and Sega moved to make the connection more official. Korone appeared in promotions as a Sonic the Hedgehog brand ambassador and voiced a character in the Japanese dub of the Sonic the Hedgehog film.

VTuber Inugami Korone appeared as a guest during the Sonic Origins commemorative broadcast, revealing a new outfit inspired by the iconic Sega mascot. The outfit features a Sonic the Hedgehog-inspired hoodie, a choker that resembles the rings players can obtain in the game, and red shoes. Other details included a Sega t-shirt, a Chaos Emerald earring, and a Knuckles plush. The outfit was specifically created to commemorate a collaboration between the Sonic brand and Korone.

During the broadcast, the presenters asked Korone what her favorite part of the outfit was. She responded that due to always bumping into her desk while she streams, so she's happy that she will have a ring attached to her.

As mentioned previously, the broadcast was held to commemorate the release of Sonic Origins, and celebrate the Sonic series. Sonic Origins is a title that bundles classic entries in the series together. It features a new "story mode" which features animated cutscenes, and rearranged tracks.

VTuber agency Hololive announced a collaboration with Square Enix to market its Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy title. Inugami Korone, Shirakami Fubuki, and Oozora Subaru will streaming the game on release day, October 26, 2021. Oozora Subaru's stream is first, starting October 26 at 10 p.m. JST. Shirakami Fubuki will play the game on October 27 at 9 p.m. JST. The Inugami Korone Guardians stream will begin at 10 p.m. JST on October 28. Five Hololive Guardians fans who win the giveaway will receive a gift box containing a Star-Lord T-Shirt, Star-Lord cap, journal, water bottle, and socks.

Announced at E3 2021 during the Square Enix Summer Showcase, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is developed by Eidos Montreal, and features an original take on the team. Players will control Star-Lord, while Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, and Drax will be controlled by AI. The game makes use of dialogue trees. Player choices affect the relationships between the Guardians and the outcomes of various missions.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy will release on October 26, 2021. It will be available on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC. It's also coming to Nintendo Switch as a cloud streaming title. The Subaru, Fubuki and Korone Guardians streams begin on launch day.

The Taito Spiritale Korone figure got its worldwide release window. Square Enix opened pre-orders for it on its official storefront. It is charging $269.99 for the 1/7th scale figurine. The orders are expected to ship sometime in March 2022. This release window is two months after the January 2022 Japanese release. It was first announced at Wonder Festival 2021 [Winter].

This Korone figure has the Hololive Gamers Vtuber in a playful pose. She has both of her hands up, as if she’s about to grab someone. (Perhaps to steal fingers.) Her base says “Yubi yubi.” That’s how she greets people who come to watch her stream. Also, to reference the fact that she lives in a bakery, there are multiple baked goods around her.

This is one of many figurines based on Korone on the way. For example, back in February 2021, Good Smile Company announced it would release Pop Up Parade figures of multiple Hololive . It later offered a closer look at the prototypes for Korone and other characters during WonHobby 33. (That was an unpainted model.) Unlike this Spiritale Korone, the Good Smile Company Pop Up Parade one will only cost $39.99.

People who purchase the Spiritale Korone figure from the U.S. Square Enix Store should get their figure in March 2022. It is expected to appear in Japan in January 2022.

Taito finally offered a better look at the Spiritale Korone Inugami figure ahead of its pre-orders opening. People can now see the full figure. Then, on June 25, 2021, orders for the ¥20,680 (~$187) figure will open. The official site says it is expected to ship sometime in January 2022.

Taito announced this 1/7th Korone figure back at Wonder Festival 2021 [Winter]. At the time, only concept art showing her pose, which looks like she’s about to steal fingers, appeared. She is wearing her standard hololive outfit in the figure.

This Korone Spiritale figure references her backstory too. The idea is that she’s a dog who lives in a bakery. So, on her base you can see a chocolate cornet, melon pan, a croissant, and a loaf of bread.

While this figure is a bit more expensive and only confirmed for Japan for now, there are other options. For example, Good Smile Company announced a quartet of hololive Gamers Pop Up Parade figures at WonHobby 33. This is its budget line of figures where each one costs under $40. A Korone figure is among those confirmed.

The Spiritale Korone Inugami figure pre-orders will open in Japan on June 25, 2021. She’ll ship out in January 2022.

Tons of Vtuber figures appeared among Good Smile Company’s WonHobby 33 announcements. Most notable was a whole line of announcements for hololive Gamers Pop Up Parade figures of Fubuki, Korone, Mio, and Okayu. There will also be a Fubuki Nendoroid.

The four Vtubers are all a part of the same group. This means they sometimes stream games together. Fubuki Shirakami, who has fox traits, appeared first in October 2018. The second to debut was Mio Ookami, who looks like a wolf. Finally, there’s the dog-like Korone Inugami and cat-like Okayu Nekomata.

All four of these Pop Up Parade figures are unpainted prototypes. Here’s a better look at each one of them. All of them are wearing their normal outfits.

Time to turn your Vtubers into PVCtubers, because Good Smile Company announced Pop Up Parade Hololive figures are on the way. The company's line of PVC figurines is getting four new additions to the roster based on Hololive's Vtuber personalities. The figures are all based on Hololive Gamers, a unit of performers within Hololive proper that includes Shirakami Fubuki, Ookami Mio, Nekomata Okayu, and Inugami Korone.

The announcement came courtesy of the raftload of product notifications set off by this year's WonHobby 32, Good Smile Company and Max Factory's bi-annual product exhibition. For 2021, the event went online due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but that didn't stop them from generating some excitement for things like Kingdom Hearts III and Genshin Impact Nendoroids or spoiler-y scale figures of Nia from Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

The Pop Up Parade Hololive figures are far from the only Hololive-based products figure fans can look forward to. Spiritale is working on a Korone figure, as well. Plus, Hololive's "3rd generation" unit (aka Hololive Fantasy), featuring Vtubers Usada Pekora, Shirogane Noel, Houshou Marine, Uruha Rushia, and Shiranui Flare, are all getting entries in the Figma action figure line:

The Pop Up Parade line is popular thanks to being relatively affordable and of high quality. Each Pop Up Parade figure stands 17-18cm tall (about 7" inches) and features "intricate sculpting and gradated paintwork" to capture a wide variety of characters. Unlike, say, Square Enix's hyper- Masterline statues, every Pop Up Parade figure costs JPY 3900 (about $38 USD). Better yet, they don't take as long to come out. Figure lines are known for releasing product many months or even years after fans pay for them, but Pop Up Parade figures are planned to release roughly four months after preorders are closed for a given item.

Meanwhile, the Hololive Gamers are breaking into media outside their respective Youtube channels. Fox friend Shirakami Fubuki  and wolf pal Ookami Mio both appeared in mobile game Azur Lane as playable characters. Friendly dog Inugami Korone ascended to international fame as well, with her popular stream of DOOM being referenced in a DOOM Eternal Easter egg. Chill catgirl Nekomata Okayu showed up as a card in Bushiroad's Rebirth for You trading card game.

The Pop Up Parade Hololive figures are in development, with no definite release window announced. Fans can check out the rest of the WonHobby 32 exhibition online.

New VTuber merchandise is on the way. There will be a figure of Hololive’s Korone. Spiritale revealed it as part of its Wonder Festival 2021 [Winter] announcements. (The event went digital this year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.)

Given how early it is in development, there’s no Korone prototype yet. The figure announcement included an image of her that looks ready to take viewers’ fingers. It is confirmed to be a 1/7th model. However, people will have to wait to learn more about it and perhaps see unpainted and painted prototypes.

Companies referenced Korone in quite a few video games worldwide lately. DOOM Eternal added an Easter egg that is a shout out to her and her DOOM streams. She is also one of the VTubers who shows up in Neptunia Virtual Stars. That will be heading to the PS4 and PC outside Japan in March 2021.

As for other Spiritale WonFes 2021 [Winter] announcements, there will be an Atelier Ryza 2 figure of her in a swimsuit, we’ll see Re:Zero’s Emilia and Rem, Millim from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, and Kurumi from the Date A Live spin-off Date A Bullet will be immortalized too.
