A new collab is coming to Among Us featuring various iconic characters from the Like a Dragon, aka Yakuza, series. The collaboration is set to start on March 26, 2025, and it will run in-game until June 24, 2025.

Innersloth teased the collaboration by sharing a picture on a social media post in which silhouettes of the crewmates doing karaoke appeared to be dressed in cosplay and singing karaoke. Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio (RGG Studio) would later confirm the crossover by revealing the characters present in the image on its social media .

The Like a Dragon character skins featured in the new Among Us collab include Kazuma Kiryu, Ichiban Kasuga, Tianyou Zhao, Taiga Saejima, various versions of Goro Majima including his classic design, his design from Yakuza 0, and his latest appearance as a pirate captian in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, as well as the lobster Nancy.

Furthermore, the latest showcase by RGG Studio included a music video of the famous “Bakamitai” Yakuza song performed by Kiryu Kazuma’s voice actor Takaya Kuroda with the video featuring the Among Us crossover. The music video appears on minute 1:21 of the stream, and you can check it out here:

Innersloth has added various crossover characters to Among Us in the past including ones from Hololive, Ace Attorney, Untitled Goose Game, and Undertale. Additionally, the crewmates also appeared in other games like Balatro, with the most recent one being an appearance in the Switch exclusive title Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble.

Among Us is readily available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC, and the Yakuza Like a Dragon crossover is on the way.

The crewmate from Among Us is now available as a DLC character in Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble. Sega made the surprise announcement alongside the crewmate’s release.

A reveal trailer showed the Among Us crewmate sealed inside a monkey ball, dashing their way through courses throughout Banana Rumble. They will mostly be featured in their armless standard look, occasionally revealing their hands for certain victory poses. Instead of the game’s usual bananas, the crewmate will collect pizza slices.

The Among Us crewmate will be part of the Version 2.10 update for Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble. They will be ed by a selection of new free content, including a new stage for the “BA-BOOM!” battle mode. Scattered Stones will be added for free along with repeated seasonal rewards and additional customization options for certain characters.

While the crewmate from Among Us is a surprise addition, it’s not the first time guest characters have made an appearance in Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble. The previous update featured Hatsune Miku and Godzilla in chibi forms, with music notes and trains replacing the bananas respectively.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble is out now for the Nintendo Switch. The Among Us crewmate is also out now as part of the Version 2.10 update.

At the Nintendo Direct for Summer, 2024, developer Innersloth announced a new update for social deduction game Among Us with new Imposter and Crewmate roles. The update is set to bring the updates later today for Nintendo Switch and other platforms.

Along with the announcement during the Nintendo Direct, a trailer with animated segments also appeared on the Nintendo of America Youtube channel. The new roles include the Noisemaker Crewmate, who alerts others when they are killed, the Tracker who appears able to track a crewmate on their map, and the Phantom Imposter who can turn invisible for daring getaways.

Other announcements at the Nintendo Direct included a new Fairy Tail game covering the manga's Alvarez arc, and a Nintendo Switch port will also soon free Fantasian from its confinement to the Apple Arcade. We will also in the future eventually see an Among Us TV show that will feature people like Patton Oswald in the roles of different Crewmates.

The New Roles update for Among Us will launch later today on June 18, 2024, for Nintendo Switch and other platforms. The game itself immediately available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.

During the September 2023 Nintendo Direct, a new Among Us map was shown in a new teaser trailer. The new video featured a new 2D animation teasing the new map’s mushroom gimmick. New tasks to complete were also briefly shown, like peering through a telescope and roasting crewmate-shaped marshmallows. The Fungle will be released in October 2023.

Among Us is being turned into an animated TV show by CBS. The series is being led by Owen Dennis and Titmouse will be the studio handling animation duties. Innersloth, the original developers of the game, will also be overseeing the project. [Thanks, Variety!]

The premise of the Among Us TV show will follow the game. There’s a crew heading through space, and an imposter is hiding among them. No doubt there will be a lot of paranoia and baseless accusations thrown around as the cast figure out who is "sus."

Owen Dennis will be acting as executive producer on the Among Us TV show. He’s best known for the Cartoon Network series Infinity Train and previously worked as a writer on Regular Show. Titmouse, who will be handling the animation, previously worked on Star Trek: Lower Decks and The Legend of Vox Machina. The studio also worked on cutscenes for a few video games, including Hi-Fi Rush, Indivisible, and the Guitar Hero franchise.

Among Us originally released in 2018 for mobile platforms and was later ported to PC. However, it wasn’t until 2020 that Among Us exploded in popularity, largely thanks to Twitch streamers playing it during lockdown.

Among Us is available now for iOS devices, Android devices, PCs, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X, and there is no currently announced date for the animated TV show adaptation.

Cover has published a confirmation that Among Us will have new crossover content based on Hololive VTubers. The company has published an image of an Among Us crewmate with the hairstyle of Nekomata Okayu and the outfit of Shirakami Fubuki, two of the group's Japanese VTubers.

Innersloth had previously posted a cryptic image with ten silhouettes on September 14, 2022. No further clues appeared in the tweet, but the Hololive Production was noted to have left a like. The group's staff member A-chan also quoted the post as being "SUS." It was only today that Cover published an unveiled image which also directly confirmed the collaboration.

The silhouettes that Innersloth posted are also reminiscent of Hololive VTubers. For example, the bottom left shark-like character looks like the group's most famous member, Gawr Gura. The second bottom right rabbit-like character is reminiscent of Usada Pekora.

Hololive VTubers—both Japanese and international—have often played Among Us on their streams. The game made by the American studio Innersloth had also received a Japanese localization.

Among Us is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android devices. The official announcement for Hololive crossover content in Among Us will appear on Wednesday, September 21, 2022.

For April Fools 2022, Among Us players can activate Horse Mode. This will only be available for a single day. As one may expect, Horse Mode turns the crewmate or impostor that you control into a "cursed" horse-like figure. Aside from that, everything appears to play the same.

According to the tweet from the official Among Us Twitter , the team came up with Horse Mode in 2021. However, it did not go through with it. For 2020 and 2021, the April Fools joke was "ehT dlekS." It was a reversed version of The Skeld, which is one of the maps in Among Us. The Skeld will not appear as "ehT dlekS" this year because of Horse Mode.

Aside from the different visuals of the crewmates and impostors, there is a "neigh" kill sound effect. According to the Innersloth website, the sound effect is not a real horse. One of the team’s programmers, Gary, provided the voice, and it was originally a filler sound. Because of the "cursed" body shapes, they can only wear hats and visors, which will temporarily limit what cosmetics you can put on your character.

Among Us is available on Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The Horse Mode April Fools joke will only be available on April 1, 2022.

Good Smile Company's Nendoroid line is welcoming new to the crew: Among Us crewmates. An update to Kahotan's Blog promoted the new figures based on Innersloth's popular party game. Pre-orders for the line are open. They cost $38.99/¥3,900 each.

Though the Nendoroid line is best known for "super-deformed" renditions of popular characters, the squat proportions of Among Us crewmates makes their basic designs a natural fit for the line.

The Among Us Nendoroid line includes three colors of crewmate: Red, Black, and Cyan. All stand about 100mm (about 4") tall and are sold separately.

Each crewmate figure comes with various accessories and optional parts.  The parts include a pointing hand, a piece of bone, and a sticker that turns a Crewmate into an Impostor. The figures can also be split in half, to mimic the appearance of a Crewmate's remains after they've been killed by the Impostor. The Nendoroids also come with special stands to help them stay up, as well as mounts to replicate the floating effect of the hand piece.

Among Us is available to play on PC, mobile devices, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Pre-orders are open until March 2, 2022.

A new Among Us update has dropped, adding four new roles, cosmetics, and in-game currencies. Players now have access to several new paid and free in-game currencies earnable through gameplay. These can be used to unlock cosmetics through branching Cosmicube progression systems. The update is immediately available on all platforms.

The new update adds three roles for Crewmates: the Engineer, Scientist, and Guardian Angel. The Engineer is capable of moving through vents. The Scientist has access to Crewmate vitals at all times but needs to complete tasks in order to recharge their battery. After a crewmate dies, they can turn into a Guardian Angel, who can cast a protective shield to protect other crewmates. Additionally, Imposters will get the new Shapeshifter role, allowing them to turn into any crewmate.

The new cosmetics system comes with three new currencies: Beans, Stars, and Pods. Beans are completely free currencies earnable through gameplay and can unlock items, bundles, and Cosmicubes. Stars are purchased using real-world money and can also unlock special cosmetics and some Cosmicubes. The new Cosmicube is essentially a branching battle with cosmetic rewards. Previously purchased cosmetics will transfer after the new update.

Finally, players can earn Pods through gameplay after "activating" a specific Cosmicube. Each map is tied to a specific Pod type, and the Pods are used to unlock the contents within the Cosmicube. Players can also gain experience through playtime, with each earned level adding a multiplier bonus to the Beans and Pods they receive.

The game's release on PlayStation and Xbox platforms also means that players will be able to link their s. This will allow players to use the same Among Us and cosmetics between multiple platforms. One temporary exception is the Nintendo Switch. Players who purchase Stars on the Switch will not be able to use them on other platforms.

Among Us is currently available on PC and Nintendo Switch, as well as Android and iOS mobile devices. The game will release for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on December 14, 2021.

Good Smile Company revealed a new Among Us crewmate Nendoroid currently in development during WonHobby 34. The featured image shows a work-in-progress unpainted model of the iconic crewmate. The figure includes its signature "Shh!" pointed finger as an additional part. As the Nendoroid is in development, the company hasn't confirmed a release date or price.

Details are still scarce. The featured Among Us Nendoroid looks to be a fairly simple figure of the crewmate from the game. Since the Nendoroid is unpainted, it's unconfirmed which color crewmate the Nendoroid will ultimately be. Red is, however, the most common color in Among Us merchandise. Interestingly, there seems to be a split in the middle of the crewmate's body. This may indicate that purchasers can separate the figure into the comical cut-in-half "dead body" pose.

The newly announced Among Us Nendoroid is the first figure designed by Good Smile Company for the series. Additionally, Innersloth announced earlier this year that it would add a new map to the game. New 15-player , improved graphics, and new game modes are on the way too. Limited Run Games is also releasing a physical Collector's Edition of the game complete with an emergency meeting button, which is currently sold out.

Innersloth confirmed new Among Us features like roles for players, a Hide & Seek Mode, and a new map. A trailer that showed up during the June 10, 2021 Summer Game Fest Kickoff looked at some of the new features and cosmetics people can expect.

The presentation began with a look at Hide & Seek in Among Us. This mode will task people with finding other hidden players. All the lights appear to be out for this mode.

It then looked at some of the Among Us roles on the way. A sheriff and scientist showed up in the footage.

After that, the focus was on Among Us cosmetic options. New colors, skins, and visor items will be available. The colors shown included coral, tan, rose, maroon, banana, and gray. A few of the visors were then shown, before it wrapped up with Among Us achievements and map teases.

Limited Run Games announced it will offer an Among Us Collector’s Edition for the PC version of the game. Starting on May 11, 2021, it will take orders for the $79.99 bundle. While there’s no physical copy of the game included, people will get an Emergency Meeting button and codes to get a copy on both Epic Games Store and Steam.

Aside from the digital copies and Emergency Meeting button, there are a number of other accessories inspired by the game. People get a soundtrack CD, a disc with concept art and interviews, and a Steelbook with a Red Imposter on it. There is also a double-sided poster. When placed in the box, the Emergency Meeting button peeks through.

This is also an open pre-order. People will be able to buy a copy of Among Us Collector’s Edition from Limited Run Games between May 11, 2021 and June 22, 2021.

Among Us is available on the Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile devices. It will also come to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with the latter including Ratchet & Clank-themed cosmetic items. Limited Run Games will sell its Among Us PC Collector’s Edition starting at 10am ET on May 11, 2021 until June 22, 2021.

Prepare to learn what it means to call someone "sus" in another language: Among Us could soon receive an official Japanese localization. Developer InnerSloth, reporting from a newly established Twitter presence, announced a number of new developments in the works for the game [Thanks, Famitsu!]:

First in line is an system for Among Us, to ease reporting and hopefully stem abuse and hacking, particularly in public games. A Japanese localization was just one of several language options announced. Options besides English were French, German, Spanish (European and Latin American), Italian, Dutch, Russian, Portuguese (Brazilian and European), Korean, Bisaya (aka Cebuano, a Southern Philippine language), and Japanese. More languages are planned, but once implemented the new slate should make it a little easier to or set up games with people that share your language, a key concern in a game as focused on communication as Among Us.

New languages matter, given Among Us has become one of 2020's hottest games. Despite being launched originally in June 2018, InnerSloth's title achieved massive popularity on the back of streaming and social media word-of-mouth. In the game, players are put on a crew and given menial jobs to do to. However, one or more players is secretly assigned the role of "Impostor," tasked with killing the crewmates and sabotaging the work. The crew can call together meetings to discuss sightings and vote for who they suspect to be an impostor, ejecting the "winner" out an airlock. Thanks in part to free-to-play structure and easy cross-play between mobile and PC, millions of people have tried and enjoyed Among Us, ranging from politicians like United States congressional representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to the Hololive Vtubers.

InnerSloth also teased a look at a new map coming to the game. Among Us currently features three maps, though the first map, involving launching a spaceship, is the most popular. The new map will contain references to Henry Stickmin, a previous game by InnerSloth.
