Hotta Studio announced a new game called Neverness to Everness, with pre-registration available now. Several trailers and a website are also online, though a release date has yet to be announced for the PC, mobile, and "console" game.

Set in the city of Hethereau, Neverness to Everness is billed as a supernatural open-world RPG. While details are sparse on the official site, Hotta Studio released a gameplay trailer that shows action combat that will be familiar to anyone who played Tower of Fantasy, the studio's previous game. Drivable and customizable vehicles seem to also play a large part. At one point the player appears to purchase property from an estate group, which may suggest player housing will be in the game.

There is currently no indication regarding which consoles the game will launch on, though the site mentions PCs and mobile devices. Hotta Studio released Tower of Fantasy on the PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. To pre- for the game, click the "Book Now! Reserve Now!" poster on the official site.

Hotta Studio's previous game Tower of Fantasy is currently running on multiple platforms and receiving regular updates. This includes a collaboration event with the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise in 2024, which featured a playable version of Rei Ayanami wielding a hi-tech bow and arrow.

Neverness to Everness pre-registration is open for PCs, consoles, and mobile devices, however no release date has been revealed as of yet.

The official Tower of Fantasy Twitter (X) has posted a trailer for the game’s collaboration event with Neon Genesis Evangelion, with Rei Ayanami taking the main stage. Rei will appear in the game from March 28, 2024.

In Tower of Fantasy, Rei fights with a bow and can shoot energy arrows, which is not something that she could do in the original Neon Genesis Evangelion. She can also summon her Unit-00 to attack enemies, as well as to activate its AT Field. You can unlock Rei as a simulacra for your characters during the event, much like how you can play as a simulacra version of Asuka.

Hotta Studio first announced its Neon Genesis Evangelion crossover event in early December 2023. During this time, we knew that Shinji, Rei, and Asuka would be prominent characters in the event, and that there would be a limited story, as well as exclusive costumes and mounts. Other items you can get during this event include the hair accessory that all Evangelion candidates wear, Asuka’s eyepatch, and a Pen Pen pet.

Tower of Fantasy is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. The Neon Genesis Evangelion event will end on April 29, 2024.

The Tower of Fantasy Evangelion update will bring Asuka Shikinami Langley, Pen Pen, Angels, and EVA 00, 01, and 02 on March 12, 2024. A new trailer for the 3.7 update that highlights the additions and new images show what people can expect when it all arrives.

First, here’s the full trailer for the Tower of Fantasy Evangelion crossover update in version 3.7. It begins by announcing the state of emergency for Mirroria, with troops and people all waiting for the attack. Then, we hear the line, “They’re here.” It is then that the Angels attack. First, we see Fourth Angel, who is also known as Sachiel. That’s followed by a glimpse of the second form of the Tenth Angel, who was known as Zeruel in the original series. (The fact that this is the second form shows this is based on the Rebuild of Evangelion depiction.) That’s followed by footage of the EVAs and the Asuka simulacrum that will be playable.

Here’s the gallery showing almost all of the Evangelion elements that will be in Tower of Fantasy, though while the EVA units, Angels, and Pen Pen appear, there wasn’t additional art of Asuka provided by Hotta Studio and Level Infinite.

Tower of Fantasy is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices. The Evangelion crossover starts on March 12, 2024. The Evangelion anime is on Netflix, while the Rebuild of Evangelion movies are on Amazon.

A new Playstation Blog post has detailed the Tower of Fantasy crossover event with the Evangelion series, set to launch "in the first half of 2024." The event was previously announced back in December, 2023.

The update's story will involve players teaming up with Shinji, Asuka, and Rei with the latter two being unlockable as simulacra. A new vehicle based on the Entry Plug as well as a Pen-Pen smart servant will also be available. The post also confirms the appearance of EVA units 00, 01, and 02 as well as certain Angels, which will be presented in 1:1 scale.

Also detailed was the main game update 3.6, which is scheduled for launch on January 30, 2024. This update will add the Aquaville area as well as the SSR character Plotti and her weapon, the EP-7000 Skyfire hand cannon.

Originally only available on mobile devices and PCs, Tower of Fantasy came to Playstation consoles back in August, 2024, as part of the game's first anniversary update. In the month prior, Hotta Studios also added Yu Lan the martial artist as a playable simulacrum.

The Tower of Fantasy x Evangelion crossover event is due to launch sometime in the first half of 2024, while the game itself is readily available on the PC, mobile devices, and now Playstation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Tower of Fantasy will hold a Neon Genesis Evangelion crossover event some time in 2024. The newest update for the game, Winter’s Electrifying Rhapsody, will launch on December 21, 2023. [Thanks, Dengeki Online!]

For the Neon Genesis Evangelion event, characters from the show will appear in the game. These characters are Shinji, Rei, and Asuka. There will be a limited time story, as well as exclusive costumes and mounts. More information on the crossover will appear some time in the future.

The 1 Year Anniversary of Tower of Fantasy will be celebrated in the Midsummer Merriment 3.1 update arriving alongside PS4 and PS5 ports. Both the new versions and expansion arrive on August 8, 2023. As usual, this means a new storyline, a new location, new enemy, and a new character. Ming Jing will appear in Tower of Fantasy after it goes live.

First, Ming Jing is the new Lord Xuanwu for Domain 9. He essentially wields a claymore in fights. While he isn’t from the area, he is its defender. While the Simulacra’s moveset wasn’t detailed, there is an introductory trailer for him.

Ming Jing plays a part in the new story as well. Building on the addition of Domain 9 from early this year, we’ll get to take part in the Jade Pavilion Fair. As for the new location, people will get to go to Cloudpeak Manor. It’s a new place inside Domain 9, expanding that map in the game. Once inside, people will get a chance to face the Black Crow Dark Wretch enemy. It's a multi-headed foe.

As Tower of Fantasy is an ongoing game, expansions and updates appear frequently. The 3.0 Domain 9 Sector update arrived back on June 27, 2023. On July 18, 2023, Yu Lan appeared as a playable Simulacra character.

The lastest simulacrum coming to Tower of Fantasy is the agile martial artist Yu Lan. She is scheduled to become available in the game's Limited Order gacha system on July 18, 2023.

Her new trailer shows off her acrobatic, but focused, combat style set against the backdrop of the Domain 9 mountains. She begins training in a serene pool, but must soon dodge rising pillars of stone, dispatch enemies on a bridge and meet with Master Yu.

The official Tower of Fantasy website updated to discuss her as well. It noted her gauntlet-style weapon is "confidential," only providing its name: Unity. The website also does not currently name her English voice actress.

Yu Lan previously appread in the story trailers for the Domain 9 Sector 3.0 expansion, which launched back in June 2023. That update introduced the new, China-inspired Domain 9. It also revealed a new simulacrum named Liu Huo and her weapon, the calligraphy brush called Pine Comet. Around that same time, Tower of Fantasy also announced a date for the release of the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game.

Tower of Fantasy is available to on PC and mobile devices with Yu Lan arriving on July 18, 2023. The game will become available on the PS4 and PS5 on August 8, 2023.

We have a Tower of Fantasy Domain 9 Sector 3.0 expansion release date. The next update for the game will arrive on June 27, 2023. As the name suggests, it adds a whole new area called Domain 9 Sector. It also brings in two new simulacrum for us to use, which are Liu Huo and Yulan.

The Domain 9 Sector is made up of four areas and features Chinese influences. The new story segments will appear around here, as will the boss Zhuyan. Players can also use the Mentorship and Smart Servant systems and get new vehicles and Speedwalkers.

As for both Liu Huo and Yulan, both appear in recent Tower of Fantasy trailers. Liu Huo uses martial arts and calligraphy brushes, while Yulan uses martial arts and bracelets that can create gusts of winds.

Perfect World announced an official launch date for the PS4 and PS5 releases of Tower of Fantasy, as well as new character, Liu Hao. The game will be available on the Sony consoles from August 8, 2023. Pre-orders are now open too.

The PS5 version will feature DualSense controller . This means it will have features such as haptic and communication through the built-in microphone. The haptic will occur in combat as well as in story sequences. There will also be 4K graphics with the PS5 version to enhance the various maps in Tower of Fantasy.

There are three different editions that you can pre-order ahead of the Tower of Fantasy PS4 and PS5 release date. The $10.99 Standard Edition will come with the game, as well as items such as a Monthly , 1,000 Tanium, 10 Gold Nuclei, 10 Black Nuclei, 10 Weapon Augmentation Box IIs, 10 Crispy Grilled Fish, and 10 Fried Chickens. Another action-RPG that started on mobile devices and PCs is heading to Sony consoles. Tower of Fantasy PS4 and PS5 versions are on the way. There’s no exact release date yet. However, it is expected to appear on consoles in Summer 2023. A first trailer appeared for these versions of the free-to-play game as well.

Like games like Genshin Impact, Tower of Fantasy regularly gets new updates. For example, the Special Orders gacha system allows people to get new weapons, which in turn unlocks Simulacra (characters). Equipping one changes your avatar's appearance and abilities. We also see new locations in the game after new patches. The latest SSR Simulacrum added in May 2024 is Rubilia, tied to the Lost Melody weapon. In-game events appear as well, providing opportunities to return to the game to earn special rewards or take part in different sorts of quests or minigames.

Level Infinite and Hotta Studio unveiled the next expansion for Tower of Fantasy, their free-to-play open-world RPG. The expansion is the first major update for the game and will add a large new playable area called "Vera", along with new characters, challenges, and story quests. The expansion launches on October 20, 2022.

The Tower of Fantasy Vera expansion was detailed in a preview event and a public livestream on October 13, 2022. You can check out the stream archive below, which kicks off at the 30-minute mark.

Vera Plane, as it's formally called, is an entirely new playable zone separate from the current main area of Aesperia. It consists of two main terrain types: The irradiated Desert Gobby, and the modern, high-tech city of Mirroria at its center. Mirroria is a large, pyramidal cityscape with an aesthetic inspired by futuristic cyberpunk architecture.

Both types of terrain in Vera will provide new exploration opportunities and challenges for Tower of Fantasy players. The Desert Gobby is a dangerous zone, and aside from hostile creatures, it experiences hazards like sandstorms and other weather phenomena. Quicksand can also slow players down and put them in peril. Mirroria, meanwhile, has its own unique architecture, and is a large enough area that players will need to get around using a train-like transport system or the flying taxis that traverse the environment. Both zones are threatened by the Grayspace, an alternative dimension filled with hostile Grayspace Entities.

Vera will also add new world bosses and powerful foes to Tower of Fantasy's bestiary. In the Desert Gobby, the metallic moose Rudolph uses its agility and speed to challenge players, while the fearsome Magma can seal its enemies in the danger zone with a sandstorm wall. Within Mirroria, the Puppet Singer is an entertainment android corrupted by Grayspace Entities, now posing a threat to all within the city.

To allow newer Tower of Fantasy players the opportunity to catch up, the developers said that upon its arrival, new players will be able to choose whether to begin the game with Vera or with the base experience. Though the stories of each zone are related, they stand alone well enough that a player can choose their starting point and explore the others at their leisure rather than being forced down a linear progression of areas.

The Vera expansion won't just expand the Tower of Fantasy game world, but also its playable roster. New characters will be added, the first of which is Ruby, who played tour guide during the preview stream. Ruby uses a drone-like companion, Spark, in combat.

Tower of Fantasy is already available on PC, but the debut of the Vera expansion will see the game arrive on Steam. When Vera goes live, Steam s will be able to add Tower of Fantasy to their Steam library and launch it from there.
