Sanrio announced that the “Sanrio Virtual Festival 2025 in MetaMe” will feature VTuber Moona Hoshinova from Hololive Indonesia as a performing guest. The Sanrio Virtual Festival 2025 is a VR event featuring various artist, and the MetaMe collaboration event will be held from February 16, 2025.

Moona Hoshinova will perform as part of the Sanrio Virtual Festival 2025 in MetaMe alongside other artists, including Pmarusama, Mashumairesh!!, band DOKONJOFINGER, V4Mirai, and Haneru Inaba. Moona will perform on several timeslots, and these include February 23 and March 1, 2025 1-hour slots shared with V4Mirai. Meanwhile, the March 9, 15, and 17 performances are 3 hours long and they feature the rest of the performers.

The Sanrio Virtual Festival 2025 event will be held between February 9 and March 9, 2025. The event can be experienced via the VRChat game using both VR functions on PC as well as in desktop mode for those that don’t own VR headsets. Additionally, the game is available on smartphones, and the event will be livestreamed. Moona Hoshinova is a VTuber talent from Hololive ID and she made her debut on April 2020 as part of the first generation of Indonesian VTubers for the group.

The visual novel Days With Ollie is one of the latest Hololive games and revolves around Indonesian Vtuber Kureiji Ollie. But while Ollie herself is a born entertainer, Days With Ollie unfortunately fails to match her infectious energy. It instead ends up as an unfortunate and frustrating slog of dead ends and recurring bugs.

Developed by P.T. Digital Artha, the game was directed by Ollie herself with art from Hievasp and ClozyOzy. It plays as a choice-based, but fairly linear, visual novel that follows the story of an unnamed protagonist attempting to become Ollie's personal reporter, while avoiding the many, many pratfalls along the way. There are four chapters in Days With Ollie, and succeeding will earn you some special art screens, but you'll be getting well acquainted with the quickload system long before you reach them.

My first dead end was also when I encountered my first bug, where the game would revert back to the Indonesian language for certain screens even if set to English. Luckily, it was on a screen where the only two options were "quit to title" and "retry," so I figured which was which fairly quickly, but later on every choice and even some story segments began appearing in Bahasa Indonesia too.

The game previously encountered a brief delay to fix bugs, but a great many appear to have stubbornly remained, including one that stopped me progressing altogether. At a certain point towards the end of the first chapter, answering a question would freeze the game and reloading. Choosing different answers and even re-installing didn't help. I was finally able to progress after finding a solution online, which involved switching back and forth between languages again.

The game has a number of other issues with spelling errors and the like, but while annoying, these are more easily fixed. I think the bigger problems stem from the script itself. With the meat of the gameplay essentially being to search through all the bad ends before moving on to the real solution, having those bad ends be entertaining is paramount. Unfortunately, Days With Ollie swings many times only a few ending up as hits. Some of the gags involve running into other Hololive or recurring in-jokes, while others are ridiculous and follow a sort of logic. My favorite was an early encounter with a rich kid who you can attempt to scare off by acting possessed, resulting in him calling an exorcist on you. But others are simple "Rocks Fall, You Died" screens that add precious little to the experience.

The choices also rarely manage to be meaningful or even entertaining, which is a shame. Sometimes in games like these, there's a sort of logic the developer expects you to figure out after a fashion. Say, if reasonable responses fail you, then perhaps flowing with the game's moon logic is the answer and you should pick zanier options. But in Days With Ollie, there doesn't seem to be any such logic, other than in some specific trivia questions. Sometimes the answer is to be a decent human being, and other times the correct response is to freak out. But not too much, of course, as that will get you arrested.

I know I've been very negative towards Days with Ollie, but I hope it doesn't come off as mean-spirited. It just feels like a missed opportunity to explore some parts of the relationship between fans and entertainers, bridging that para-social gap so to speak. It's not like the game is totally devoid of charm, of course. Once you actually meet Ollie, the pace picks up a fair bit. Some of the music is quite nice, especially the intro theme.

If you're going to play Days With Ollie, I recommend doing so as a group, rather than on your own. Having friends or even a streamer chat to riff with will likely make the experience more enjoyable. I wonder if the particular vein of absurd answers is intended to cater to that kind of setting. But on its own, Days With Ollie just doesn't manage to be compelling as a visual novel.

A new visual novel starring Hololive Indonesia's Vtuber Kureiji Ollie will be available on PCs. The game will be titled Days With Ollie, and it will appear on April 19, 2024.

Despite making the announcement on April 1, 2024, Ollie gave assurance that this announcement was 100% legit and not part of an April Fools' Day prank. The official X s for Hololive Indonesia and Hololive English have both corroborated the announcement by sharing the visual novel's Steam page. People can thus immediately add the title to their wishlists on the platform.

The trailer for the visual novel is also available to watch via Kureiji Ollie's tweet right below. It shows that Indonesian will be the visual novel's primary language. However, the Steam page and the trailer's credits confirm that it will also be available in English.

The release of this title will add another entry to the list of official visual novels themed after Hololive Production Vtubers. The Japanese Hololive Vtuber Minato Aqua has released Aquarium on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC. Doppelganger, which features six Holostars English -Tempus- male Vtubers, is also available on PC.

Days With Ollie will be available on PCs via Steam on April 19, 2024.

Cover revealed that its Hololive Vtubers will perform at a concert in Dreamhack Melbourne 2024. This will also mark the first time a concert by the Vtuber group appears in Australia. The concert will take place on April 27, 2024.

The concert will have a balanced roster of representatives from all three branches of the female Vtuber group Hololive. Houshou Marine and Tokoyami Towa will come from the Japanese side, while Calliope Mori and the Australian Vtuber Hakos Baelz will represent Hololive English. Hololive Indonesia's Pavolia Reine and Kureiji Ollie will complete the six-person roster.

Sales for online and physical tickets to access the concert will open on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 1 PM AEDT (Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 10 PM EDT). The online live-streaming tickets will be available worldwide at 4,200 yen (~$43 USD) with an additional booking fee of 220 yen. People who have this ticket will also be able to re-watch the archived video up to four weeks after the concert date.

People who have a physical festival ticket to attend Dreamhack Melbourne 2024 in person will be able to purchase a Hololive standard upgrade with guaranteed concert seating for $49 AUD (~$32 USD). The pricier Hololive upgrade at $89 AUD (~$59 USD) will feature prime seating positions and an entry into a raffle for a Meet and Greet session with one of the Vtubers.

Dreamhack Melbourne 2024 will run at Rod Laver Arena on April 26-28, 2024. The Hololive concert in Dreamhack Melbourne 2024 will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

Cover published the key visuals for Hololive Super Expo 2024, and it features all Vtubers d with Hololive Production, including the Holostars male VTubers from both the Japanese and English branches, who are still active as of January 25, 2024. The image does not include Yozora Mel, whose contract was terminated on January 16, 2024.

All characters in the illustration wear aloha shirts to fit the expo's theme. The event will convert Makuhari Messe's Halls 4-8 into Hololive Island. The venue will consist of five areas where visitors can interact with the VTubers, relax in the cafe, or purchase goods in the market.

The official website shows the key visual in a singular long-scrolling image. However, it can also be split into six separate images, which are available in a tweet thread on Hololive Production's official X :

In a separate tweet, Cover also revealed the key visuals for Hololive 5th Fes: Capture the Moment. This concert will feature active Japanese, English, and Indonesian Hololive female Vtubers, split into three main stages. It will take place in Makuhari Messe's International Exhibition Hall 1-3.

2024 will become the third consecutive year for Cover to hold the Hololive Super Expo annually. While the company has been holding the Hololive Fes concerts since 2020, it launched the first Super Expo in 2022. People who can attend the event will also be able to buy new merchandise, just like how the previous edition in 2023 had the first sale for an art book and numerous figures.

Hololive Super Expo 2024 and Hololive 5th Fes: Capture the Moment will take place at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, on March 16-17, 2024.

Cover announced Kobo Kanaeru, Vestia Zeta, and Kaela Kovalskia, the third generation Vtubers from Hololive Indonesia, will all unveil their new 3D models in their own showcase streams from October 15-28, 2023. On October 28, 2023, they will all meet together for a 3D collaboration stream.

Each of the Hololive Indonesia 3D showcases will be held at different times on the respective VTuber’s YouTube channels. Here’s the schedule and hashtag for each of the performers' streams:

The third generation of Hololive Indonesia debuted back in March of 2022, so the three Vtubers have been waiting over one year to be able to stream with a 3D model.

The Hololive ID 3D model showcase will begin with Vestia Zeta on October 15, 2023. Kaela Kovalskia's will follow on October 20, 2023, with Kobo Kanaeru's happening on October 27, 2023.
