Caseplay announced on social media that it will start making its Hatsune Miku and other Vocaloid phone cases available for overseas customers. You can check out the official Caseplay website to make sure that your phone is one of the 130 devices compatible with its products.

Aside from phone cases, you can also get accessories like earbuds cases, Apple Watch bands, and phone rings. You can only get the six Piapro Vocaloid characters in this collection, which are Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Len, Kagamine Rin, Megurine Luka, Kaito, and Meiko. Miku is the one who appears on the most products, and some items are only available with her on them.

Here’s how much all the Vocaloid phone cases and accessories cost at Caseplay:

  • Apple Watch Band: $43
  • Earbuds Case: $43
  • MagSafe Card Wallet: $57
  • Phone Ring: $29
  • Slim Protection Case: $85
  • Smart Grip Stand: $43
  • Stand & Ring Ribbon Case: $99

Prices do not differ between brands, which means an Apple phone case costs the same as a Samsung one. Aside from the big global brands, you can also get items for Motorola, Xiaomi, and Huawei. Caseplay will not deliver to Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Iran, North Korea, or Israel. As well, shipping costs differ depending on the country. You can use this chart to assess how much it’ll cost to have it deliver to you.

The Vocaloid phone cases and accessories from Caseplay are now available worldwide.

100th Hatsune Miku Nendoroid Officially Debuts in October figure

Good Smile Company announced it opened standard pre-orders for the 100th Hatsune Miku Nendoroid, known as the 100th Adventure version figure, ahead of its October 2025 debut in Japan. It will cost ¥8,000 (~$55). This comes after the early-bird purchase option in March 2025. As a reminder, orders for it aren’t available on the US site due to the Trump tariffs.

As usual, this is a Nendoroid with three face plates. The standard one features her smiling. An excited one features a more enthusiastic smile and blush on her cheeks. The third leaves her looking concerned, with her eyes entirely black. She comes with a bag she can carry, removable hat, map she can hold, and small gold Miku statue as a treasure.

Here’s a closer look at how this Nendoroid will look and some possible poses:

There’s also a promotional trailer on YouTube that shows how the official Tsuki no Usagi art inspired the design for the Hatsune Miku figure, highlighted some details, and showed her “finding” a golden Miku treasure.

The Hatsune Miku 100th Adventure Nendoroid will debut in Japan in October 2025, with a worldwide release following eventually. Pre-orders are open until July 2, 2025.

Cat Girl Hatsune Miku Desktop Cute Figure Returns

Taito announced the return of the Hatsune Miku Desktop Cute figure of her as a cat girl version of Vocaloid Hatsune Miku. It is currently showing up in Taito online crane games, which cost 1,700 coins per try. It is unknown when or if we’ll end up seeing it also eventually appear worldwide again, but places like Hobby Link Japan did carry the Cat Ear T-Shirt Ver figure before and Amazon sells the most recent Sakura Miku one.

The Taito Desktop Cute line of figures all features famous characters design to be posed sitting on people’s desks. Many anime and game characters appeared in the collection. In this case, Hatsune Miku wears a more casual outfit, and the cat girl elements include green ears, a green tail, and pink collar. She also wears a white shirt with a cat holding a leak on it, black shorts, and pink and white knee socks. Like all figures in this line, she’s around five inches tall (14cm).

Here’s a closer look at the some of the photos Taito shared with us of the figure.

This is the second piece of merchandise based on this Hatsune Miku cat girl design. Back in March 2025, Taito released two plush variations of it. Those also appeared in Japanese arcades.

This is the second Desktop Cute figure of the Vocaloid to appear in 2025. In February 2025, a Sakura Miku one of the character leaning on a pillow shaped like a cherry appeared in Japanese arcades.

The Hatsune Miku Desktop Cute Cat Ear T-Shirt Ver figure of her as a casual cat girl is now back in Japanese online crane games.

facade question hatsune miku kasane teto

In an interview for “Facade Question,” which was the Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto collaboration Pokemon song for Project Voltage High↑, 32ki (the producer of the song; name pronounced “Satsuki”) and Yomitan Akane (the one who made the music video) spoke about the themes behind it. The song not only focuses on one’s true self, but it also argues that lies aren’t always a bad thing. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

First, as a reminder, here is the Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto Pokemon song “Facade Question.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=njKdvdYQ-xE

32ki mentions that since the song came out on April 1, 2025, which doubled as Kasane Teto’s birthday, he wanted to make the song focus on lies and how they can sometimes be good. Throughout the music video, Pokemon d with deception—Sudowoodo, Zoroark, and Mimikyu—show up. Even though these Pokemon pretend to be something else and either lie about or obfuscate the truth, they just want to be friends with others.

32ki also states that the moral of how you should just be yourself often appears in fiction. However, he believes that this doesn’t apply to everyone or in every situation. So it’s good to maintain a “false” version of yourself if it helps maintain cordial relationships. He adds that his recent songs place importance on finding compromises rather than thinking everything as either 0 or 100.

Aside from the messages in “Facade Question”, 32ki wanted to make this song a bright and happy one while also drawing a line between it and his representative works (“Mesmerizer” and “Obsomeat”). Since Miku and Teto often appear in fast-paced songs, he focused on creating a contrast between them using minor changes. One example he gave was how he changed the beat of the chorus from a four on the floor to a shuffle beat. He believes “Facade Question” is a perfect mix between his own aesthetics and Pokemon’s.

“Facade Question” is part of Project Voltage, which is a collaboration between Hatsune Miku and Pokemon. It began in September 2023.

Even More Hatsune MIku Cinnamoroll Plush Appear

The Hatsune Miku Cinnamoroll collaboration that basically started with a Nendoroid is now getting its sixth and seventh plush toy volumes consisting of an additional eight stuffed animals. The first four appear in Japanese arcades on April 24, 2025. The second four debut on May 23, 2025.

In each case of these stuffed animal collections, there tends to be a theme for the Hatsune Miku and Cinnamoroll, and these plush lines are no exception. In the first one, we’re seeing both characters in matching poses involving their ears and hair. The first two feature the two of them making a heart pose. In Miku’s case, her pigtails come together to form the shape. For Cinnamoroll, it involves his ears. In the second one, the two are covering their faces a bit.

The second set involves the characters in more cozy and relaxed moments. The first pair involves the duo sleeping. Miku is wearing her pajamas and yawning. Cinnamoroll is holding a teddy bear, wearing a nightcap, and sleeping. The other pair in this collection involves the two about to eat. Each one looks like it is holding a pastry with a pink icing swirl on top.

Here’s how all eight of the new plush look:

This is a now ongoing series of stuffed toys and merchandise pairing up Hatsune Miku and Cinnamoroll. The first three showed up in March 2024. The second and third collections launched in August 2024. The fourth and fifth volumes put the two characters in new outfits. Now these latest ones involve different types of expressions and poses.

These follow an array of general Sanrio and Crypton Future Media Vocaloid character plushes. In March 2025, three volumes appeared. The featured Vocaloids are Hatsune Miku, Megurine Luka, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Meiko, and Kaito. Meanwhile, the Sanrio mascots for that crossover are Cinnamoroll, My Melody, Pompompurin, Badtz Maru, Pochacco, and Tuxedo Sam. In that line, the Sanrio characters dressed a bit like the Vocaloids and vice versa.

The latest Hatsune Miku Cinnamoroll plush toys will appear in Japanese arcades starting on April 24, 2025, and a second collection launches on May 23, 2025.

Hatsune Miku to perform Genesis of Aquarion with original singer Akino at Satelight 30th Anniversary Satefes

Satelight has revealed that Hatsune Miku will appear in its 30th Anniversary Satefes concert. The Vocaloid Hatsune Miku will notably perform the "Genesis of Aquarion" song together with the original singer Akino in this concert.

The concert will take place over two days, on May 24 and 25, 2025. Hatsune Miku and Akino will appear on both days, so people who can only attend the concert on either day can still watch the collaborative rendition. As a side note, the veteran singer Yoshiki Fukuyama will be the only other person to be present on both days.

The Satelight 30th Anniversary Satefes concert will feature songs from numerous anime titles. However, there will be a specific focus on the Macross and Aquarion franchises. The first day will feature recitation stages from Macross Frontier and Aquarion EVOL, while the second day will instead have similar ones from Macross Delta and Genesis of Aquarion. The original Japanese voice actors who voiced characters in the respective shows will appear in these recitation stages.

In December 2024, Miku appeared in the Gundam Metaverse to perform her own renditions of the opening themes of the first Mobile Suit Gundam and Mobile Fighter G Gundam.

The Satelight 30th Anniversary Satefes concert will take place at Pacifico Yokohama on May 24-25, 2025.

hatsune miku rody fairy tale figure

A second Amp+ collaboration figure between Hatsune Miku and Rody will appear in the Taito crane game machines as a prize. This Miku’s theme is “fairy tale” and so she’s wearing a dress that’s reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland.

https://twitter.com/Taito_Toys/status/1908077186273411299

The announcement Tweet from Taito did not mention how large the figure is. It shows Miku wearing a frilly blue dress, blue high heels, and a maid-like headdress with pink ears protruding from it. A pink donkey-like creature is next to her. Miku is smiling while holding up a hand, and the stand she’s on resembles a heart-shaped bubble or cushion. This figure is based on artwork from illustrator 4, and it’s the second collaboration figure between Hatsune Miku and Rody.

The first collaboration between Hatsune Miku and Rody came out in February 2024 as a crane game prize. This figure stood at around 7.8 inches tall, and so the fairy tale Miku figure will likely stand at that height as well. More information on that should come out in the future.

Other Hatsune Miku figures that have been announced or will come out in 2025 include a commemorative Nendoroid from Good Smile Company to celebrate the 100th Miku Nendoroid. Again from Good Smile Company, you can also purchase a plamo model kit that lets you build your own Nendoroid of Miku. Megahouse also teased two new Miku and Gundam Lucrea figures.

The Hatsune Miku and Rody fairy tale figure will appear as a prize in Taito crane games in mid-April 2025.

Strike Freedom Gundam Type 2 Hatsune Miku Version Metal Robot Spirits batch 2 pre-order lottery

Bandai Spirits has opened applications for the second pre-order batch of the Hatsune Miku-themed Strike Freedom Gundam Type 2 Metal Robot Spirits action figure on the Japanese Bandai site. The company will use a lottery to determine people eligible to purchase the action figure because the first batch sold out very quickly.

For the record, Bandai Spirits first revealed the action figure on March 10, 2025, with its release window set in October 2025. However, in what seemed to be a first-come-first-served basis, the allocated stock in the first batch ran out in a very short time.

The new pre-order batch will let people purchase the action figure with the same tax-inclusive price tag of 24,200 yen (~$160.60). The package will still contain an action figure of the Strike Freedom Gundam Type 2 with its blue parts repainted with the Miku Green color and an acrylic stand of Hatsune Miku with a gear set inspired by the flagship Mobile Suit of the 2024 movie Gundam SEED Freedom.

Bandai Spirits will close the application period on April 13, 2025. It will announce the winners eligible to purchase the action figure later, around mid-April 2025. After finalizing the payments, they can expect their orders to arrive in December 2025.

The crossover figures between Hatsune Miku and the Gundam franchise go both ways; there will be both Miku-themed Gundam figures and Gundam-themed Miku figures. Earlier in March 2025, Megahouse revealed two examples of the latter with Lucrea figures of Hatsune Miku themed after the Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz version of Wing Gundam Zero and the 00 Gundam from the Mobile Suit Gundam 00 TV series, respectively.

The Metal Robot Spirits <Side MS> action figure of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom's Strike Freedom Gundam Type 2 - Hatsune Miku Version will be available first in October 2025. People who order via the newly opened second batch will be able to get it in December 2025. This action figure will appear not only in Japan but also the rest of Asia and the US.

Hatsune Miku Nendoroid Plamo Model Kit Lets You Build a Figure

Good Smile Company announced it is now taking orders for its first Nendoroid Plamo model kit, which allows someone to build a  Hatsune Miku figure that looks like a smaller take on a Nendoroid. When finished, it ends up being about half the size of a standard one. It costs ¥2,650/$21.99, and it is expected to ship in August 2025 in Japan and early 2026 worldwide.

So a Nendoroid figure is typically 100mm, which is just under four inches, and the Nendoroid Plamo model kit will build items that are 50mm (about two inches) tall. Unlike a Nendoroid, they will not come with additional face parts. They also will only come with one pair of hands. However, there will be some minor articulation, as the photos of this first one show someone will be able to turn Miku’s head, move her arms, adjust her twintail pigtail positions, and twist her hands at the wrist.

This will also be a simple style Hatsune Miku model kit. The initial photos show the five sprues, which hold 26 parts used to build the character. The ones with the face plate and torso top have pre-painted elements. The product page also confirmed there will be stickers for other accents. No glue is needed, but nippers are recommended to safely remove parts from the sprues.

Here’s a closer look at how the kit will look when it arrives.

There is also a photo comparing the model to an actual Nendoroid, to provide a better sense of scale.

This comes as Good Smile Company prepares to hit a milestone when it comes to Hatsune Miku figures. It is working on a 100th Nendoroid of the Vocaloid

The Hatsune Miku Nendoroid Plamo model kit will ship in August 2025 in Japan and Q1 2026 worldwide. Pre-orders are open through Good Smile Company until May 7, 2025.

Racing Miku Kyojo Vita 2025 character designed by Atelier Ryza artist Toridamono

TKRI and Good Smile Racing have revealed a new Racing Miku design made by Toridamono of Atelier Ryza fame. The new design shall be known as the Racing Miku Kyojo Vita 2025 version. The team has also applied the design to its racecars for the Fuji Champion Race Vita Kyojo series. [Thanks, Hobby Watch!]

This is not the first time Toridamono has made a Racing Miku design. Good Smile Racing had previously worked with him to make a design for the racing team's mascot character in 2023. But while the team continued to work with the illustrator in the following years, it moved the collaboration to the all-female race series Kyojo Cup in 2024. The regular Racing Miku for the Super GT series in 2024 was designed by Mogumo, who is best known for Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury. Kei Mochizuki then took up the helm for the 2025 Super GT version.

The TKRI with Good Smile Racing team also revealed that it has applied the livery featuring the new Racing Miku design to not one, but two racecars for the FCR-Vita Kyojo 2025 series. Riona Tomishita will newly the team with car number 225 for the 2025 season, accompanying Yuki Okamoto's car number 4 that debuted in 2024. The new FCR-Vita series will take place at the Fuji Speedway with four rounds scheduled on March 15, May 10, August 16, and December 20, 2025.

The Kyojo Vita 2025 version of Racing Miku will feature in the four-round Fuji Champion Race Vita Kyojo series, which will take place at Fuji Speedway from March 15, 2025, until December 20, 2025. The group will also showcase the racecar at the Odaiba Itasha Tengoku 2025 event, which will take place on March 23, 2025.

The group will also showcase the racecar at the Odaiba Itasha Tengoku 2025 event, which will take place on March 23, 2025.

Hatsune Miku Gundam Crossover Figures Teased

Megahouse teased two new Hatsune Miku x Gundam collaboration Lucrea figures inspired by the anime franchise. These are being created for the 45th anniversary of the Bandai Namco series. So far, the company has only shown the two key visuals for the figures, and there is no release date in sight.

While Bandai Namco and Megahouse have yet to offer a release window, the official website estimates that pre-orders will open sometime in 2025. The first of the two figures is inspired by the Wing Gundam Zero mech from the Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz film. The key visual shows Hatsune Miku wearing a white military uniform with white wings that combines Mobile Suit motifs with the image of an orchestra conductor. The illustration was created by Japanese artist neco.

Meanwhile, the second figure is inspired by the Mobile Suit Gundam 00 anime. The illustration shows Miku sitting on top of a pile of TVs showing the logos of the Celestial Being, the Advanced European Union, and the Union of Solar Energy and Free Nations from the Gundam 00 series. The TVs are sitting on a bed of flowers and Miku is holding a Haro robot that uses her color scheme. Artist Ixy was responsible for this design.

You can take a look at the key visuals for the figures here:

As a reminder, Good Smile Company recently announced a special Nendoroid to celebrate the 100th release of Hatsune Miku Nendoroid figures throughout the years.

Two new Hatsune Miku x Gundam Lucrea figures are currently in development. More information will appear in the future, and pre-orders will open sometime in 2025.
