Miku Flick is a simplified version of the franchise given its use of smaller screens and touchscreen gameplay. A sequel eventually came out months later, released worldwide in August 2012. This time, it’s an update to again include new music that was brought to the Project Diva series through the Nintendo Switch installment, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega Mix. If someone picks the Mega Mix 2nd Encore Pack up, four more songs will be playable.

The Mega Mix Encore Pack, which arrived in Japan earlier in July 2020, is now available absolutely everywhere. (This also means the 1.10 additional Extra Extreme difficulties should be available for certain songs too.)

The highlight of this pack is how it brings some of the Hatsune Miku: Project Diva series’ latest songs into a game that pretty much has every track. Each one is from Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega Mix, the Nintendo Switch entry. While a lot of the song library there sampled from older games, a handful of these newer ones appeared too.

Sega released a new DLC pack in Japan for Hatsune Miku Project DIVA: Future Tone and Project DIVA: Future Tone DX that contains all ten new songs that were added in Project DIVA Mega Mix on the Nintendo Switch. Today, Sega announced a new Hatsune Miku: Project Diva game titled Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega 39’s for the Nintendo Switch. The game will feature a renewed graphical style, and comes out in early 2020.

Apart from being the first new title in the series since Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X on the PlayStation 4 from 2016, this game will also celebrate the series’ 10th anniversary. The game is being developed by Sega AM2.

101 songs (91 songs across the Hatsune Miku x Sega project, including the Project Mirai spinoffs on 3DS + 10 new songs including this game’s theme song) are being included, and over 300 costumes to collect. Currently, the featured cast includes Rin and Len, Luka, Kaito, and Meiko. The official site shows off a first look at their updated looks below:

The game will feature the series’ classic Rhythm Game mode, as well as a new mode that takes advantage of the Nintendo Switch’s capabilities, set to be revealed later.

An update has been announced for Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone and Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone DX. Sega says this 1.06 update will appear on April 19, 2018 in Japan and will add free Extra Extreme charts for six Colorful Tone and four Future Sound songs, as well as adjust Extra Extreme clear percent calculations, to take into the 10 new difficulty levels, and adds bug fixes. Sega has yet to announce if and when this update will arrive outside of Japan.

The following songs will be receiving the Extra Extreme charts after the update. As a reminder, this does not necessarily mean the Extra Extreme difficulty is the most difficult for that song. It might means they originally did not have a note chart that took into features like the touch slider mechanic, an input option in arcades that had players sliding their hands along a .

Sega has announced new DLC for the western versions of Hatsune Miku Project Diva: Future Tone. In honor of the Vocaloid’s tenth anniversary, a new song and module will be added to the game. People will be able to play through Deco*27’s “Ghost Rule.”

A release date and price for Hatsune Miku Project Diva: Future Tone’s “Ghost Rule” song and anniversary module have yet to be announced for North America and Europe. However, if you want a sneak peek at how this song sounds, here’s a “Ghost Rule” PV.

Sega is bringing the Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone collection to both North America and Europe. On January 10, 2017, people will be able to play through Hatsune Miku songs at 60fps and 1080p on the PlayStation 4. When people grab Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone from the PlayStation Store, it will be free and come with two songs. They will then be able to purchase the Colorful Tone and Future Sound song packs separately for $29.99 each, or buy the two together in a bundle for $53.99.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone’s Colorful Tone has songs from Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX and Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Arcade. Future Sound features songs from Hatsune Miku: Project Diva, Project Diva 2nd, Project Diva Extend, Project Diva F, and Project Diva F 2nd.. There are 224 songs and 340 Vocaloid modules total, and buying both gives you a feature that lets you mix and match hairdos and costumes, as people can in Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX. There are five difficulties available for songs, ranging from Easy, Normal, Hard, Extreme, and Extra Extreme, and the speed and energy results in a slightly different and faster control scheme than found in past games. You unlock more songs and earn VP for modules and items as you play.

We’ve seen Hatsune Miku and her pretty stylish form in Persona 4: Dancing All Night’s collaboration appearance. We’ll once again get to see the “P4D Style” Miku in Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X and Future Tone. Sega shares more in their official blog.

The above is a look at Miku’s “P4D Style” for the Project Diva titles. Project Diva X on PS Vita will get the Miku outfit on June 23 for 300 yen. The PS4 version of the game, Project Diva X HD, will get it on August 25 when the game releases in Japan.

The costume will also be available in Hatune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone, the PS4 version of the arcade game, when it releases on June 23, 2016.

The original arcade version of the game, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Arcade Future Tone, will also get some of Persona 4: Dancing All Night’s stylish love for only 300VP.

Sega just released the first trailer for their PlayStation 4 rhythm game, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone, based on the arcade game that is currently available in Japan.

As previously reported, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone will come in two packs. “Future Sound” features 120 tracks focusing on the Diva series that released on console, meanwhile “Colorful Tone” will feature about 100 tracks that focus on the arcade games and Project Mirai series. With both packs, you have over 220 tracks and more than 340 different Modules.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone will release for PlayStation 4 in Japan on June 23, 2016. A “Prelude” version will be available to allow fans to try out a couple songs for free and purchase the packs for the rest of the tracks and Modules.
