Vocaloid's Hatsune Miku is one of Japan's most popular and beloved idols. She cemented herself in pop culture and is an icon across the globe. Once her popularity was evident worldwide, Sega began releasing the games in English. For over 10 years, players around the world jammed to Hatsune Miku's catchy and captivating songs on their consoles and handhelds. As Japan has some exclusive titles that were never released internationally, you might be wondering what are some available games featuring Hatsune Miku and other Vocaloids worldwide. Here's a list compiling all of Hatsune Miku games released in English.

Hatsune Miku Project DIVA F PS3

International Debut - Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 395x1

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F was first released in North America on August 27, 2013 on PlayStation 3 with Europe following suit days later on September 3, 2013. The PlayStation Vita version came out about six months later in North America and Europe in March 2014.

Hatsune Miku Project DIVA F 2nd gameplay

Round Two - Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd 4o1k3y

The next Hatsune Miku game to appear in English is simply titled Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd and followed through after the success of its predecessor. With more songs added to the game, it added more content for Western audiences to experience. The game came out on the PlayStation 3 and Vita in North America and Europe in November 2014.

Hatsune Miku Project DIVA X gameplay

New Type of Gameplay - Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X l6i42

As the 10th overall entry in Sega's Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA series, X is a unique entry that really makes it stand out to celebrate 10 games featuring Hatsune Miku. Its rhythm game track may play like the other Project DIVA games, but features a cute visual novel-type story. It focuses on journeying through five clouds that involve taking five unique traits and providing different in-game missions. Released on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, this title came out on the same day in Europe and North America on August 30, 2016.

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone

In a Home Near You - Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone 3j276b

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone is perhaps the most polished and gorgeous Hatsune Miku game both visually and gameplay-wise. It showed up on the PlayStation 4 in January 2017. The game is separated into three sections and has an extensive library thanks to DLC being added after launch. Prelude is a free-to-play , which PlayStation owners can use to try out two songs from the game. Then there are the Future Sound and Colorful Tone song packs, offering more content for fans who find the game worthwhile.

Hatsune Miku Mega Mix Switch

Catching The Wave - Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix 4n6p5p

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix started as a Switch exclusive in May 2020, then also appeared as Mega Mix+ on the PC in May 2022. With new songs and an exclusive game mode designed for the Switch, Mega Mix offers game time on the go and is a must-buy for those that don't own a PlayStation console. If you have a PC, you can go all in and take advantage of mods with Mega Mix+ to make your own customized and enhanced experience with Project DIVA.

Hatsune Miku Project Mirai DX for Nintendo 3DS

Bonus Round - Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX 324z1h

In Japan, having exclusive titles sounds cool, but for Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX, it benefited both North American and European consumers. They only needed this Hatsune Miku game instead. DX is an expansion of the first and second Project Mirai titles from the exclusive Japanese predecessors with more features. This Nintendo 3DS title came out in September 2015 in North America and Europe. With 3DS digital purchases going away in late March 2023, you have a bit more time to look into the demo and see if the game is worth adding to your gaming collection.

Hatsune Miku Flick mobile game

Mobile Time - Miku Flick 4r2pq

As a mobile exclusive, Miku Flick is as straightforward as can be for a game on iOS and Android devices. Released a month after Japan's April 2012 debut, it is a spin-off of Project DIVA. Miku Flick is a simplified version of the franchise given its use of smaller screens and touchscreen gameplay. A sequel eventually came out months later, released worldwide in August 2012. Miku Flick and its sequel are no longer listed in the App Store and Google Play Store. Despite this, gameplay footage still exists on YouTube.

Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live PS exclusive

Into Our World - Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live 3y131l

If you never had a chance to go to a Hatsune Miku concert, this title might be an interesting experience. This free PlayStation VR game may just fulfill that dream! Worlds Colliding - Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage! 4r361n

As Hatsune Miku's most recent mobile game, Colorful Stage! features breathtaking and stunning visuals with an interesting story akin to gacha titles. Japan got to experience the game a year earlier, but Colorful Stage! eventually released worldwide to English speakers in December 2021.

hatsune miku project diva future tone dlc

Over three years after its debut, Sega is still releasing Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone DLC. This time, it’s an update to again include new music that was brought to the Project Diva series through the Nintendo Switch installment, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega Mix. If someone picks the Mega Mix 2nd Encore Pack up, four more songs will be playable.

Here’s the full track list for the Mega Mix 2nd Encore DLC.

  • “Bless Your Breath” by Wadatakeaki
  • “Bring It On” by Giga
  • “Dramaturgy” by Eve
  • “Greenlights Serenade” by Sakurai, Kimura

And, to help you better visualize them, here are the official YouTube videos for some of those tracks. (Eve’s “Dramaturgy” is only available on NicoNico.)

This is “Bless Your Breath.”

Here is "Bring It On."

And finally, we have "Greenlights Serenade."

The last Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tune DLC pack added 10 other songs from Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega Mix back in July 2020. As it had an additional six songs, it ended up costing people about $5/£4 more.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tune is available for the PlayStation 4. Its Mega Mix 2nd Encore Pack DLC is now available for $9.99/£7.99 in North America, Europe, and Japan and make the song library more complete.
