Gunhound EX, G.rev’s robot action game, is being ported from PC to PSP in Japan, and this week they released a new trailer for the PSP version. Check it out below:

Gunhound EX will be released on January 31st for 3,129 yen ($37) at retail or it off the Japanese PlayStation Network for 2,500 yen ($30).

Under Defeat HD developer G.rev is bringing the 2D robo action game Gunhound EX to PSP. Gunhound EX was delayed so it won't be available until January 31, 2013.

You can try the game before buying it since G.rev announced a able demo that lets players shoot their way through story mode up to part of mission 2.

Gunhound EX will also be part of the UMD port program so if you purchase a retail copy of the game for 3,129 yen ($37) you can get a PSN version for just 800 yen ($9.50) more. Or you can just get Gunhound EX for 2,500 yen ($30) on PlayStation Network.

Under Defeat HD developer G.rev has been working on a PC port, which was scheduled to come out on December 20. Unfortunately, a fatal bug was discovered in the last leg of development and the team needs additional time to fix the issue. Gunhound EX has been rescheduled for January 31, 2013. Gunhound EX will cost 3,129 yen ($38) on UMD or 2,500 yen ($30) as a PlayStation Network . G.rev also has a limited edition with a soundtrack and mini art book for 5,229 yen ($63).

Dracue created a sweet run and gun shooter that's a spiritual sequel to Assault Suits Leynos II called Gunhound EX. The game is out now for PC and it's coming to PSP on December 20 care of G.rev.

Gunhound EX is pretty reasonably priced too. 3,129 yen ($40) gets you a physical copy and a able version is just 2,500 yen ($32). Dengeki PlayStation reports there will be a limited edition with a soundtrack CD for 5,229 yen ($66). If you enjoyed Gunstar Heroes and like mecha you might want to keep an eye out for Gunhound EX.
