Uniqlo announced it will sell shirts based on Pokemon Trading Card Game and Pokemon TCG Pocket, with both adult and kids styles appearing in August 2025. The official Japanese site updated showing the nine men’s designs, which are unisex items, and the eight kids options.

The adult Uniqlo Pokemon Trading Card Game and TCG Pocket designs are divided into five t-shirts and four sweatshirts. In each case, they’ll be available in sizes XS (extra small) through XXXXL. Each shirt is ¥1,500 (~$11), and the sweatshirts are ¥2,990 (~$21). Designs feature characters like Gardevoir, Gengar, Kabuto, Magikarp, Mewtwo Omanyte, Pikachu, Slowpoke, Snorlax, Unown. In the case of the Gardevoir shirt and the Gengar and Mewtwo sweatshirts, the design is on the back.

Here’s how all of those look:

As for the kids styles, there are four t-shirts and four sweatshirts. They can be found in children’s sizes 3-4y (100) to 13y (160). The shirts cost ¥990 (~$7) each, while the sweatshirts are ¥1,990 (~$14). In some cases, they feature designs similar to the adult options, such as with Pikachu and Mewtwo. However, the Charizard, Eevee, Lucario, Lapras, Mew, and Mimikyu styles are only available in the kids collection.

These are the initial pictures of all eight of them.

The US Uniqlo site isn’t showing any of these new shirts yet. However, it does show some of the other Pokemon Sketch style items already available. Since these types of collections do tend to show up everywhere, it might launch at or around the same time.

The Uniqlo Pokemon Trading Card Game and TCG Pocket shirts will show up in Japan in August 2025. It is unknown when we might start to see the designs appear in-stores and online worldwide. Pokemon TCG Pocket is available on mobile devices.

US Pokemon Center Now Selling Penny’s Eevee Backpack

The US branch of The Pokemon Center announced that the Penny’s Eevee backpack, based on the accessory worn by the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet character, is now in-stock. It can be found online for $69.99. This does mean it qualifies for free shipping, as the tier to clear for that is $20.

This backpack is designed to be an exact replica of the one Penny wears throughout the game. The fluff around the Pokemon’s neck covers the upper parts of the straps and goes over a person’s shoulders. To store items inside the plush, you need to open a zipper on its stomach. It is over a foot tall, at 13 inches, and 11 inches wide. It could also be used for cosplay purposes, in addition to everyday wear.

Here’s a closer look at the Penny’s Eevee plush backpack from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet from various angles, as well as some photos showing it being worn by an individual to provide a better sense of scale.

While this is now available on the US storefront, we actually have seen the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Penny’s Eevee backpack before. The Pokemon Company released it in Japan back in September 2023. When it launched back then, it cost ¥6,930 (~$47).

The Penny’s Eevee backpack is available via the US Pokemon Center now, and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available on the Nintendo Switch.

Kirby Air Riders 3g5i5u

This looks to be a full-on remake or at least remaster of the original Nintendo GameCube racing game. Players will be able to race as Kirby and friends throughout gorgeous landscapes. Perhaps most surprisingly, Masahiro Sakurai himself will be returning to the helm as the director of this Switch 2 title. It will release sometime for Switch 2 in 2025.

Donkey Kong Bananza 145q18

This open-world adventure from Nintendo appears to be a pseudo-successor to Donkey Kong 64. Players will be able to explore a vast world. There are mines, open areas, and plenty of enemies to fight in the Switch 2 game. Most of the adventure seems to take place from a 3D perspective. However, there are also the occasional, traditional 2D moments. It will release on July 17, 2025.

The Nintendo Switch 2 will launch on June 5, 2025, and a Nintendo Direct with more information on the console appeared on April 2, 2025.

Lego Pokemon building block Sets Will Appear in 2026

Lego announced that it acquired the Pokemon license, which means we will see building block sets involving characters from the series. These will begin appearing in 2026. However, while it will be a while before they debut, the official site for the collection is live.

The initial details for the Lego Pokemon sets is incredibly vague. It shows the company’s logo alongside the one for the game and anime series. There’s also a special block that looks like Pikachu’s tail alongside it. Electrical elements appear as well. This suggests that, at the very least, we will see some sort of Pikachu build as part of the selection.

At the moment, there are two building block toy companies that also feature Pokemon sets. One is Kawada, which released kits in its Nanoblock line based on the series. In addition to smaller blind box builds, there are larger kits. Mattel’s Mega Bloks line also includes a number of Pokemon sets.

In the meantime, we’ll see more Lego Nintendo sets. The company shared a Mario Kart one that is on the way. There will also be one that lets us build a Game Boy out of blocks. This is in addition to the existing Super Mario and Animal Crossing collections.

The Lego Pokemon sets will appear in 2026. The latest mainline games are Pokemon Scarlet and Violet on the Switch.

Seven-star Skeledirge Tera Raids are currently available in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, and will continue to run until Thursday, March 13, 2025. If you want to catch the powerful generation nine Fire-type starter for yourself, here’s the best Pokémon to counter the Skeledirge Tera Raid.

Skeledirge the Unrivaled 3m3r44

Skeledirge Tera Raid in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Screenshot by Siliconera

There are two aspects that make Skeledirge so dangerous and difficult to take down. It’s already a strong Special Attacker, but it can quickly boost this by using Torch Song. This can quickly snowball, meaning Skeledirge will be able to grab one-hit knockouts before you are able to retaliate. The other difficult point is the ability Unaware, which ignores your stat boosts. This means you will need to lower Skeledirge’s defensive stats, and prevent it from boosting its offensive stats.

Skeledirge’s base stats and Rash nature mean that it’s best to enter this battle with a Special Attacker. While you can’t boost your stats, you can lower Skeledirge’s stats, so you’ll want a Special Defense lowering move like Acid Spray, Metal Sound, or Fake Tears. Skeledirge has a lot of sound-based moves as part of its set. Disarming Voice, Hyper Voice, and Torch Song, are all blocked by things like Throat Chop, and Soundproof.

Here are all the details you need for the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Skeledirge Tera Raid event.

  • Level 100
  • Nature: Rash (+SpAttack -SpDef)
  • Ability: Unaware
  • Tera type: Fire
  • Moves: Torch Song, Shadow Ball, Stomping Tantrum, Hyper Voice

Skeledirge opens with Disarming Voice, and Flame Charge. It resets player stats at 80% time remaining and then puts up the shield. At 50% health remaining Skeledirge resets its stats and status, and uses Flame Charge again.

Malamar – Best for Skeledirge Tera Raid 1gu5s

Malamar can not take out Skeledirge the Unrivaled by itself, but it is one of the strongest Pokémon for this Tera Raid. Contrary will drop Skeledirge’s Special Attack instead of raising it when it uses Torch Song, and you can give it this ability with Skill Swap. Make sure you then swap Unaware onto one of your NPC teammates so you can take advantage of the lowered Special Attack.

Throat Chop can also prevent Torch Song (as well as Hyper Voice) while Normal Tera prevents Shadow Ball from hitting. This means that Skeledirge can only hit with the Physical move Stomping Tantrum. Malamar can not only give your team longevity, but it can boost Water-type Special Attackers, like Primarina or Tentacruel, with Rain Dance, and help any partner out with Helping Hand.

Here’s the set we recommend for the seven-star Skeledirge Tera Raid:

  • Level 100
  • Nature: Careful (+SpDef -SpAttack)
  • EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpDef / 4 Attack
  • Ability: Contrary
  • Tera type: Normal
  • Item: Leftovers
  • Moves: Rain Dance, Throat Chop, Skill Swap, Helping Hand

Tentacruel – Best for Attack and in Skeledirge Tera Raid 102o3k

Screenshot by Siliconera

If you’re looking for a Pokémon that can take on the Skeledirge raid solo, Tentacruel can do it, but it also works well as a team player. While Unaware ignores your stat boosts, it won’t ignore its stat drops, meaning that Acid Spray is the perfect for lowering Skeledirge’s Special Defense. Tentacruel has naturally high Special Defense, and Throat Chop disables most of its moves including the terrifying Torch Song. Players should use Throat Chop on the first turn, and use it again every third turn after this.

If playing in a team of Special Attackers, Acid Spray will lower Special Defense even when Skeledirge raises the shield. Rain Dance will both boost Tentacruel’s damage with Surf, and lower the damage of any Fire-type moves that Skeledirge uses. It might take a few attempts to clear the raid solo with Tentacruel, but it is definitely possible.

  • Level 100
  • Nature: Calm (+SpDef -Attack)
  • EVs: 252 SpAttack / 252 SpDef / 4 HP
  • Ability: Rain Dish
  • Tera type: Water
  • Item: Shell Bell
  • Moves:  Acid Spray, Rain Dance, Surf, Throat Chop

Kommo-o – Best for Solo Skeledirge Tera Raid 3t6d3g

Kommo-o terastylizing to Normal-type during the Skeledirge Tera Raid in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Screenshot by Siliconera

If you want an easier time taking on the Skeledirge raid solo, then Kommo-o has the perfect mix of ability and movepool to take Skeledirge down. While Torch Song won’t affect Kommo-o thanks to its ability Soundproof blocking all sound-based moves, it can still boost Skeledirge’s Special Attack for Shadow Ball. This is why you want to start the raid with a few Throat Chops so you can terastylize to Normal-type, avoiding almost all of Skeledirge’s damage.

Metal Sound can lower Skeledirge’s Special Defense, however, it won’t work while the shield is up. Despite this, Normal Tera with Boomburst deals enough damage to get the barrier down fast enough so you can soften Skeledirge up with Metal Sound for future Boombursts.

  • Level 100
  • Nature: Calm (+SpDef -Attack)
  • EVs: 252 SpAttack / 252 SpDef / 4 HP
  • Ability: Soundproof
  • Tera type: Normal
  • Item: Shell Bell
  • Moves:  Throat Chop, Boomburst, Metal Sound, Substitute

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are both available for Nintendo Switch.

Pokémon Day promises more Pokémon news every year, and the headline for this year’s Pokémon Presents was an extended look at Pokémon Legends: Z-A with a three-minute trailer. Previously fans only saw a teaser trailer, which showed outlines of things to come. In contrast to this, the latest Pokémon Legends: Z-A is jam packed with easter eggs, and other clues that tell us more about what to expect from the game.

Here are all the easter eggs we noticed in the latest Pokémon Legends: Z-A trailer.

People were surprised to see that there would be two starters from Gold and Silver as part of the Legends: Z-A starter lineup. However, they were more surprised to see almost a hundred different Pokémon appear in just three minutes. Some were only on screen for a split second, others only appeared at the bottom as part of the player’s party. But if you look closely you will be able to see all 98 of the Pokémon below in the Legends: Z-A trailer.

  • Chicorita / Bayleef / Meganium
  • Totodile / Croconaw / Feraligatr
  • Tepig / Pignite / Emboar
  • Budew / Roselia / Roserade
  • Scatterbug / Spewpa / Vivillon

Legends: Z-A’s evil team is returning to space 236p32

There are a number of hints that the new ‘evil team’ will be obsessed with space once more. Game Freak loves to make the bad guys part of a major company like Aether in Sun and Moon and Marco Cosmos in Sword and Shield. Quasartico will likely play the role of antagonists in Legends: Z-A, and the name of the company isn’t the only hint that the company is trying to breach the final frontier.

Quasartico’s logo bears more than a ing resemblance to Team Galactic’s from Diamond and Pearl, and the design can be seen imprinted all over CEO Jett’s suit. Jett’s design is also very interesting. Her hair also mimics the Galactic logo and can also be compared to Colress’ hair from Team Plasma. Jett also has crescent moon earrings, and the collar of her suit is similar to Lunala’s wings. Her design is also reminiscent of Lusamine with her platinum blond hair, and shoe design.

Another link to Sun and Moon can be seen in Urbain and Taunie, who have a similar look to Ilima, Melemele island’s trial captain. As for the Vinnie, people were quick to point out his mutton chops, similar to Lysandre’s from X and Y. However, his dark skin and man bun are also reminiscent of kahuna Hala, who is also known for his odd sideburns. Vinnie’s sunglasses could also be a stand in for how Hala doesn’t open his eyes.

None of this is definitive, but there are more than a few threads that link the story of Legends: Z-A, not just to X and Y, but Sun and Moon among other titles in the series.

Catching and battling will see a huge mix up 66pu

Pokémon Legends: Arceus hugely mixed up the battle system by adding strong- and agile-style moves among other big changes. The new Legends: Z-A trailer showed fans how the new battle system will be different from both Legends Arceus and the mainline games. Each Pokémon’s four attacks are mapped to the four face buttons, and the Pokémon can move freely around the battle arena helping them dodge attacks. This is a huge mix up for the series, changing genre from turn-based to action RPG. The new style is more similar to Pokken’s than other mainline games.

It isn’t just the battling that will change, but we saw a new style to catching in the latest Legends: Z-A trailer. At one point we see a Pokémon’s HP bar drain completely before the trainer throws the ball. Previously, this resulted in a knockout, but it appears that battling before catching will be far less risky in the game.

The last scene in the Pokémon Legends: Z-A trailer is the most cryptic and confused fans. It shows the player waking up to a message from their phone that reads “This is a promotion match announcement” followed by the icon for Lumiose City. It’s not much to go on, but we can infer that there is likely some link between Legends: Z-A, and Scarlet and Violet.

The Rotom phone changes design between games, and the design at the end of the trailer is the phone’s design from Scarlet and Violet. It seems that there might be some challenges that cross over between the games.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A will launch in late 2025 for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.

Pokemon Home Shiny Keldeo and Meltan Giveaway Starts

The Pokemon Company International announced that there are two more Pokemon Home shiny Pokemon giveaways, and this time we can earn Keldeo and Meltan. Both are available to collect as of February 12, 2025. You need to finish the Pokemon Sword or Shield Pokedex for Galar to get Keldeo. Meanwhile, Meltan is tied to Kanto Pokedex completion for either Let’s Go, Pikachu or Eevee.

Both the shiny Keldeo and Meltan will arrive at level 50 if you manage to earn them. The Keldeo will know Aqua Tail, Double Kick, Quick Guard, and Sacred Sword. Meanwhile, the Meltan will arrive with a moveset that includes Acid Armor, Flash Cannon, Headbutt, and Thunder Wave.

This is the third Pokemon Home Shiny Pokemon giveaway event tied to game completion. The first giveaway started in October 2024. That stars a Shiny Meloetta. It requires you to play Pokemon Scarlet or Violet and potentially its DLC to complete the Paldea, Blueberry, and Kitakami Pokedexes. If you do all that, it ends up being sent to your collection in the app.

The second giveaway happened more recently. In January 2025, Shiny Enamorus and Manaphy appeared in the app. To get Manaphy, you need to complete the Pokedex in either Pokemon Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl. Meanwhile, that Enamorus is tied to the Hisuian Pokedex in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Let’s Go, Eevee, as well as Pokemon Sword and Shield, are available on the Nintendo Switch. Pokemon Home is available on the Switch and mobile devices now, and the shiny Keldeo and Meltan promotions are live in that app.

For better and for worse, the Pokemon Center Osaka DX store and Pokemon Cafe restaurant both proved to be memorable experiences.

Sometimes, when you get excited about a location or concept, it’s possible to build them up in your mind. Put a person or an attraction on a pedestal? Absolutely. I’ve always wanted to visit a Pokemon Center store in Japan, even though I know I could pretty easily order some items online. I got the chance to finally do so when stopping by the Pokemon Center Osaka DX and Pokemon Cafe in Osaka, Japan, and it was everything I wanted it to be… for better or worse.

The first thing I expected was something of a spectacle, and the Pokemon Center Osaka DX store and Pokemon Cafe delivered on that. There are three different statue installations present. The most eye-catching are the three legendary birds Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. However, to the left of them is a display with the Scarlet and Violet starters Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly accompanied by a Pikachu and Meowth. (When I visited, they were dressed up for the holidays.) On the right, in front of the restaurant, are two statues of two Pikachu dressed up as chefs. (Naturally, you can buy plush versions of each of them.) They’re massive displays, and I was honestly surprised more people weren’t using them for selfie photo ops. Rather, people seemed more respectful about the situation and instead were standing back and taking photos from a distance. Given the crowds, I was pleasantly surprised by just how easy it was for me to take my pictures!

I expected a wealth of merchandise at a Pokemon Center store, and that held true too. The Pokemon Cafe was more limited and featured items that were often more practical in nature. Affordable silverware with the restaurant’s logo at the top was plentiful. There was a Pawmi glass I almost purchased, but feared wouldn’t survive the flights home due to how delicate it seemed. Every Pikachu chef plush, both standard and keychain-sized, appeared. But the Pokemon Center DX proper offered so much that it was nearly overwhelming. Plush were everywhere, with so many Sitting Cutie varieties giving even characters who aren’t as prominent as Pikachu or starters their moment. The new sleeping line of characters appeared in their own section. There were accessories and items tied to the games. People could buy tickets for the new 2024 Pokemon Collection Kuji: Welcome to the Pokemon House. A whole region of the store was dedicated to the Pokemon Trading Card Game. You could sample Pokemon Frienda and play on one of two machines. It was a lot.

ittedly, I went in figuring things would be this plentiful. But I also didn’t expect to see one of my favorite types of tourist kiosks. The Pokemon Center Osaka DX store featured a penny press machine. Well, here it was billed as a Medalief souvenir coin machine. For ¥200 yen, you could get one of three designs. One featured the three Pokemon Scarlet and Violet starters together. The other paired up Eevee and Sylveon. The third showed two Pikachu above the Pokemon Center Osaka DX logo. (Naturally, I grabbed all three.) I was so surprised and happy to see that even someone with some spare change could get a memorable trophy that wasn’t available anywhere else.

Of course, not every expectation met was a good one. Things I was concerned about were proved true too. The Pokemon Center Osaka DX and Pokemon Cafe was absolutely mobbed. Now, I did visit on November 21, 2024, which was two days ahead of Labor Thanksgiving Day. So the volume of people I saw there could have been due to that public holiday. However, both areas in the Shinsaibashi Daimaru were absolutely filled with people. The line in the cafe storefront, which was the shorter of the two, took me 15 minutes to get through. I didn’t see anyone make it through the line for possible Pokemon Cafe visits if you didn’t have a reservation in the 40-odd minutes I spent checking out the location. It is a tourist hot spot, and you need to take that into if you visit.

I also expected an actual Pokemon Center store to be expensive. Again, true! Given the current exchange rate between the US dollar and yen, it wasn’t too bad. But the range of products available and possibilities mean that it could prove to be a very expensive experience if someone goes in with a big wishlist. Especially if they do make reservations for the Pokemon Cafe ahead of time and will have that added expense. I didn’t come away with too much, given I only picked up one of the exclusive Chef Pikachu plush toys, a Pokemon Cafe Pikachu spoon, and three of the crushed medals with Pokemon characters on it. But I could absolutely see someone get carried away in the moment.

Visiting the Pokemon Center DX store and Pokemon Cafe in Osaka will always be something I . Not only because I could cross getting there off my bucket list! It’s more due to it being the exact experience I wanted it to be. I wanted it to be a moment. I wanted it to stand out and leave an impression. I wanted to come away with a special Pikachu that I couldn’t get anywhere else. Yes, it also meant dealing with huge crowds and missing out on eating at the Pokemon Cafe as a result. But it was wonderful to learn that it truly is one of those places that is worth the trip.

The Pokemon Center Osaka DX store and Pokemon Cafe restaurant can be found on the ninth floor of the Shinsaibashi Daimaru at 1-7-1, Shinsaibashisuji, Chuo-ku, Osaka-shi in Osaka, Japan.

Shiny Rayquaza Will Appear in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Next Month

Nintendo announced that we will get a chance to catch a shiny Rayquaza in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet in December 2024 and January 2025, thanks to a Tera Raid Battle event. It will be available in the two Switch games between December 19, 2024 and January 5, 2025.

We don’t know too much about this Rayquaza we’ll get to catch yet. One of the confirmed details is that it will show up in five-star Tera Raids. The other is that it will be a Dragon Tera Type. While that raid is going on, there will also be Mass Outbreaks for Carbink, Cetoddle, and Fraxure throughout the game. This is because all of their shiny forms also feature black as a signature color. Since this is a five-star event, you will need to have beaten the main campaign in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and beaten the elite four to find the Rayquaza.

There’s also an animated trailer accompanying this news that shows a shiny Rayquaza flying across the Paldean cities and environments.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QmxydjASgrI&ab_channel=TheOfficialPok%C3%A9monYouTubechannel

Leading up to that, we know the schedule for Tera Raids for November 2024, December 2024, and January 2025. Here’s what’s coming up soon:

  • November 28-December 5, 2024: Corviknight and Bellibolt will be in Tera Raids.
  • December 5-12, 2024: Azumarill and Clodsire will be in Tera Raids.
  • December 12-19, 2024: Annihilape and Kingambit will be in Tera Raids.
  • December 19, 2024-January 5, 2025: Shiny Rayquaza

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available for the Nintendo Switch.

You Can Earn Shiny Meloetta in Pokemon Home Now

The Pokemon Company International announced that it is now possible to get a shiny Meloetta in Pokemon Home following the 3.2.2 update. However, it isn’t an unconditional giveaway. It is tied to Pokedex completion.

Here’s how it works. You need to have your copy of Pokemon Home synched up with Pokemon Scarlet and Violet on the Nintendo Switch. This is because you need to have the full Pokedex for the main game, which is the Paldea Pokedex, as well the ones from the Blueberry and Kitakami Pokedex ones from the two areas in the expansion . If you did that and confirmed it within Pokemon Home in “Games,” you get the Shiny Meloetta as a Mystery Gift. Once that is in your boxes, you could then move it to one of your games.

There’s also a screenshot showing the Shiny Meloetta in the Pokemon Home app. The Normal and Psychic type will be at level 50 when it arrives. The one shown in the screenshot has 170 HP, 82 attack, 162 special attack, 92 defense, 148 special defense, and 110 speed. The Modest nature boosts special attack at the cost of attack. Serene Grace also makes it more likely Meloetta’s attack effects will trigger. The character arrives knowing Echoed Voice, Psybeam, Relic Song, and Sing. So Serene Grace would affect Psybeam and Relic Song.

Here’s how the character will look:

Pokemon Home is available on the Nintendo Switch and mobile devices. It is compatible with games up through the latest Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Switch entries.

Pand Land Is a New Game Freak Game

Game Freak in collaboration with WonderPlanet announced Pand Land, a free-to-play casual marine adventure RPG coming out on June 24, 2024 for mobile devices. In Pand Land players become captain of an expedition team in search of treasures in uncharted lands.

Aside from the ocean and land exploration, the game includes a variety of dungeons and combat challenges that can be tackled solo or alongside other players. Game Freak Head of Development Department 1 Masafumi Saito said that with Pand Land the developers strove to create a title that feels like a fully-fledged console game, but is easy to play in a smartphone screen.

In addition, Saito said that he would like to see players share information and treasure maps with each other and discover new elements of the game together. For that purpose, ahead of the release of the game Saito shared that he “saw a strange horse walking on two legs near the fortress that looms over the eastern sea.”

A promotional trailer for Pand Land is now available in Japanese, and you can check it out here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=poCTNS-bB5k

Game Freak is mostly known for being the primary developer and co-owner of the Pokemon game series. However, the studio is also known for other titles, such as Giga Wrecker Alt. and Little Town Hero.

Pand Land will come out in Japan on June 24, 2024 for Android and Apple iOS mobile devices. At the time of writing, there is no information on a global release for the game.

Game Freak has yet to announce a main series title in the Pokemon franchise, despite us being halfway through the year. This has led many players to ask: will we be getting a new Pokemon game in 2024? Here is everything we know so far about the Nintendo franchise's plans for this year.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like we are getting a main series Pokemon game in 2024. Instead, the Nintendo developer is releasing a mobile app titled Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket. This game adapts the TCG game to mobile phones, where you can compete against other players.

It also has a gacha mechanic where you can open two free packs of cards a day to collect and trade cards. Some of the game’s cards are called Immersive Cards, which feature specialized graphics and music to accompany them.

We don’t have the exact date for when Pokémon TCG Pocket will be released, but it will be available on Android and iOS sometime later this fall. Based on previous years, Game Ferak would have announced a 2024 Pokemon title during the annual Pokemon Day celebration in February. However, the only thing that was announced was the new TCG app.

When Will the Next Main Series Pokemon Game Be Released? 332j4g

Game Freak announced earlier this year that their next installment in the Legends series will be released sometime in 2025, called Pokemon Legends: Z-A. It serves as the follow-up to Legends: Arceus, which took place a few hundred years before the events of Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum.

Legends: Z-A takes place in Lumios City in Kalos, where Lumios City is undergoing a redevelopment plan. It is unsure if it will be an open-world game like Legends: Arceus or now many of the first game’s mechanics will carry over. Legends: Z-A will be released on the Switch.

Outside of Legends: Z-A, we don’t know when any other main series Pokemon game will be released. The Pokemon Company has not yet announced the followup to Scarlet and Violet nor any remakes. Considering Pokemon’s release history, we can likely expect remakes of Black and White next, but with the next Legends game taking place in Kalos, we might be looking at X and Y remakes instead.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is now available on Nintendo Switch.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet extracurricular lesson event in Shima Spain Village

A Pokemon Scarlet and Violet-themed event will take place at a Japanese theme park inspired by one of the countries that served as models for the Paldea region. The Pokemon Company revealed via its Japanese X that it will hold the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Extracurricular Lesson event at Shima Spain Village from late June 2024 to late September 2024.

The company has yet to reveal full details about the summer event as of this announcement. However, it has shared hints that it will place photo spots featuring Paldean Pokemon. It will also hold a rally event where participants must find items spread across the theme park to win rewards. In addition, food stalls inside the venue will offer Pokemon-themed meals during the event.

The venue choice for this new event could not have been more coincidental. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet take place in the Paldea region, which Game Freak modeled after the Iberian Peninsula that mostly constitutes Spain and Portugal. The Shima Spain Village theme park, which has been operational in the Mie Prefecture since 1994, is also based on the very country it is named after.

The Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Extracurricular Lesson event will take place at Shima Spain Village from June 29, 2024, to September 23, 2024. The event will be based on the ninth-generation mainline Pokemon game available worldwide on Nintendo Switch.
