The visor cap worn by SNK's popular fighting game series character Terry Bogard will appear in the real world. Cospa will produce and sell the cap based on the character's appearance in The King of Fighters XV.

Cospa has also opened pre-orders for the cap at ¥4,730 (~$30.65) with a release window in late March 2025. While the web store only s direct shipments inside Japan, the company allows people outside the country to place orders with third-party forwarding proxies.

Cospa will use pure polyester and cotton to produce these caps. The item will be most compatible with people who have a head diameter between 58~60 cm (22.83~23.62 inches). The company will make sure the Fatal Fury logo on the front side is embroidered accurately to the in-game model. The cap's back side will also have a snap fastener to match SNK's setting descriptions.

The King of Fighters XV's Terry Bogard visor cap will be available in the real world in late March 2025. People can get a guaranteed stock of the product if they have placed an order by December 15, 2024.

Street Fighter 6 players can now dress up their avatars and make them look like Geese Howard. Capcom made it possible by launching the "Fatal Fury Festivities" Fighting , which features a set of Avatar Gear based on the Fatal Fury and The King of Fighters series character.

The new Street Fighter 6 also includes an avatar emote that lets players replicate Geese Howard's fall scene. It also adds three stage themes based on Geese, Billy Kane, and Wolfgang Kra from Fatal Fury Special. The bonus stickers also feature more Fatal Fury series characters like Gato, Hotaru Futaba, and Marco Rodrigues.

Capcom's 1991 arcade game The King of Dragons fills out the Classic Game slot to complete the Fighting content lineup.

Capcom has been adding numerous content from SNK's fighting games to Street Fighter 6. Prior to Terry Bogard's appearance as a proper playable character in September 2024, Capcom released a Fighting that featured Avatar Gear sets based on Andy Bogard and Joe Higashi. The crossover content will not end here, as Capcom will also add Mai Shiranui to the proper playable roster.

The "Fatal Fury Festivities" Fighting is now available in Street Fighter 6 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC worldwide.

SNK has revealed that it will release two physical compilations of classic Neo Geo arcade titles for Nintendo Switch in Japan. The Arcade Archives Neo Geo Selection will be available in two volumes in December 2024.

Each volume will contain exactly ten titles each, so this compilation will feature twenty titles in total. The lineup will also include the first two King of Fighters and Samurai Shodown titles based on the series' chronological timeline order. Each volume will also have a Fatal Fury and Metal Slug entry.

SNK has no plans to release the compilation digitally because the titles are already available for individual purchases on the Nintendo eShop at 838 yen (~$5.85) each before discount sales. Each of the physical compilation volumes will cost 5,940 yen (~$41.50).

Capcom has launched a new Street Fighter 6 Fighting ahead of Terry Bogard's inclusion in September 2024, and it features numerous content themed after SNK games. The "Terry Arrives!" contains content from the Fatal Fury and The King of Fighters games.

Some of the new ' highlights include sets of avatar gears that will let players have their avatars cosplay as Andy Bogard and Joe Higashi. It will also include the stage themes for Terry, Andy, and Joe from Fatal Fury Special. There is also a new set of stickers that features more Fatal Fury series characters like Jubei Yamada, Duck King, and Kim Kaphwan.

The Fighting will also come with an SNK-themed challenger screen effect and a King of Fighters photo frame. Capcom's 1997 arcade game Battle Circuit—which is also the only content not related to SNK in this —completes the rewards list.

Capcom has been launching a new Fighting before it releases an extra character. Terry will not be the only SNK guest character to appear in Street Fighter 6, as Mai Shiranui will also him in the game's Year 2 content lineup. The new year started with the return of M. Bison—the dictator alternatively known as Vega in Japan—in June 2024. The Street Fighter III debutant Elena will complete the roster for the year.

The "Terry Arrives!" Fighting has appeared in the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, and PC fighting game Street Fighter 6. Capcom will formally add Terry Bogard as a new DLC character on September 24, 2024.

Mai Shiranui will be making her return to the Fatal Fury series in SNK's newest fighting game Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. A trailer for her came up as the latest announcement for the game at gamescom 2024. The game appeared with a new trailer featuring Mai in both a brand new design for the new entry and her classic look.

The trailer showcased Mai Shiranui's combos and highlighted her design through the ages before revealing her new black jacket and pants ensemble. It showed off some of her specials and supers as well. After that, SNK revealed the classic look, which involves the red and white kunoichi dress from her previous appearances.

Mai Shiranui is one of many stars making their way to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. Characters like B. Jenet, Terry Bogard and Rock Howard will also be taking the stage alongside new fighters.

The trailer also featured a release date for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves: April 24, 2024. That was followed by the contents of the special edition. The special edition will feature the base game and the first season , featuring five new characters to play as, for $59.99. In addition, pre-orders of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will give players the Fatal Fury 2 look for Terry Bogard and along with three-day early access. So people who pre-order can play starting on April 21, 2025.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will be available on the Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox Series S/X and PC on April 24, 2024.

Capcom has announced that Terry Bogard release date for Street Fighter 6 will be September 24, 2024. The announcement came during the Gamescom 2024 opening ceremony pre-show, along with a new gameplay trailer.

First announced at Summer Game Fest 2024 and later teased with his own trailer, Terry is a crossover character from SNK's Fatal Fury series. Capcom chose to show off the new character with a gameplay trailer during the Gamescom 2024 opening ceremony pre-show, before releasing an extended version of the trailer along with the release date. He will become available on September 24, 2024, for purchase with Fighter Coins or as part of the Year 2 Character . Terry also comes with a 2nd outfit inspired by his look in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, as well as the new Pao Pao Cafe 6 stage.

Kaiyodo recently unveiled a new figure based on Chun li, as part of the company's Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi figure line. Meanwhile, earlier this month Capcom showed off some of the items contained in the Street Fighter 6 collaboration with manga series Baki the Grappler.

At Evo 2023, SNK shared a trailer for the new Garou game it teased and confirmed it is Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. We first heard this project was "green-lit" back at Evo 2022. There's no release date for it yet. We also don't know which platforms the fighting game will appear on when it launches.

For that first teaser for the new Garou/Fatal Fury game project, we only got to see Rock Howard. For this second spot, Rock reappears. However, we also get to see how Terry Bogard will look in this installment.

The Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves video also begins by showing locations on the map alongside character voice clips, with Geese Tower, National Park, South Town Airport, Live House “Old Line,” Factory, and an Abandoned Dojo highlighted. It seems like characters like Andy Bogard, Mai Shiranui, B. Jenet, and Billy Kane are teased at each spot.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is currently in development for unspecified platforms, and there's no set release window for this new Garou game. The last entry in the series to appear was Garou: Mark of the Wolves, which debuted in arcades in 1999 before heading to multiple platforms worldwide.

The legendary fighting game series is coming back. SNK announced at EVO 2022 that it "green-lit" a new Fatal Fury / Garou project for development. This would be the first such project in the works since 1999's Garou: Mark of the Wolves (a.k.a. Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves).

All in all, the teaser reveals very little about the project. Its naming to Fatal Fury/Garou and the use of Rock Howard in the teaser art implies that it's a follow-up to Mark of the Wolves, at least. In Garou, Rock Howard, son of longtime villain Geese Howard, is a student of series hero Terry Bogard, as well. SNK's announcement also trumpets the project as "the long awaited sequel". Besides the art, the teaser trailer displayed cryptic hints as to the nature of the story. Lines like "The City of Legend Still Breathes," "Hungry Wolves Back on the Prowl," and "A New Destiny Hidden in the Darkness" promise new plotlines spinning off from the narrative of 20 years ago.

Though a Fatal Fury game hasn't made an appearance in over two decades, its characters have kept busy in other games. They've often shown up in the rosters of various King of Fighters titles. Terry Bogard himself even ed Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in 2019 as a DLC fighter.

SNK is developing a new Fatal Fury/Garou title, though its platforms and release window are unspecified. King of Fighters XV is available on PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Discotek Media announced a Fatal Fury OVA Blu-ray release. It will include Fatal Fury: Legend of the Hungry Wolf and Fatal Fury 2: The New Battle. Each one will, for the first time, include both OVAs in 1080, the original Japanese credits, and a subtitled insert song. The announcements included details about this version, some special features, and packaging. Both English and Japanese voice acting will be available.

First, the Fatal Fury OVA Blu0ray will include updated subtitles. So all character names will be accurate. Both the original Japanese and US credit sequences will be present. Fatal Fury 2: The New Battle will also have a scene restored, translated, and dubbed. As for the 1080p element, it is possible due to a “new scan from the original film negatives.” One special feature noted is commentary from Discotek Producer Brady Hartel and Matt McMuscles. The others are an art gallery and trailer.

SNK Corporation announced that Fatal Fury First is available now on the Nintendo Switch. The game is an updated port of a Neo Geo Pocket Color entry that released back in 1999. The title is available digitally via the Nintendo eShop for $7.99 (before tax).

Originally released in 1999 and developed by Yumekobo, Fatal Fury First is based on the arcade game, Real Bout Fatal Fury 2. The Neo Geo Pocket Color versions of fighting games feature chibi sprites of beloved SNK fighters and remixed 8-bit music. The pocket fighter boasts 13 playable characters, including two unlockable fighters. First also has a "Potential Power" comeback mechanic, where players can perform super powerful special moves at the brink of death. Check out the launch trailer below.

Fatal Fury First marks the fifth title in the Neo Geo Pocket Color series on Switch. SNK Gals' Fighters, King of Fighters R-2, Samurai Shodown! 2, and The Last Blade: Beyond the Destiny are all currently available on the Nintendo Switch. NeoGeo X Classics: Volume 1 will be available in stores in late April. A price for the game card was not announced. Tommo will also bundle a Rocket high-speed data transfer and charging cable with each cartridge.

PlayStation Plus includes a decent instant game collection with new titles added every month. If you're in Europe you can snag Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition, MotorStorm Apocalypse, Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit, and eight more games. The King of Fighters XIII, Double Dragon Neon, and Infamous 2 are some of the free PlayStation Plus games in North America.

Japan has a whopping three free PlayStation Plus games – Sonic the Hedgehog, Minnya no Golf (a putting game with Toro), and Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty. Starting in November, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan will offer at least 11 games to new PlayStation Plus subscribers. New titles will be added each month with a target of 55 games within a year.

The initial PlayStation Plus Japan re-launch line up is a bit different from the West. Sony added PSP titles and Sumioni: Demon Arts, a PlayStation Vita game.

SNK has a lineup of NeoGeo roms for PlayStation Network. Unlike the Virtual Console re-releases NeoGeo Station titles have features most standard emulators have.

Save states, in-game instruction manuals, sound replay mode (a background music player), replays (save up to eight per game), and online play are part of the package. PlayStation 3 owners can invite a friend via the XMB bar or find a game by picking quick match or match search. Players can also create their own match and pick settings before the game starts. SNK's NeoGeo games work on PSP too, but on the go versions only have ad-hoc .

These games are the original releases with all of the original bugs. SNK says they want players to enjoy the original versions without any changes as they were back in the day.

The King of Fighters ‘94, Art of Fighting, Samurai Shodown, Metal Slug, Fatal Fury, and Magician Lord have also been re-rated by the ESRB as PlayStation 3 and PSP games. Why “re-rated”? SNK already released these for Wii as Virtual Console titles.

Seems like the same ROMs are coming to PlayStation Network as able NeoGeo Classics.

SNK announced an Xbox Live Arcade port of Garou: Mark of the Wolves was in development for Japan. Don't worry, you're not going to miss out on this. The ESRB just rated the game for North America.

There haven't been any Japanese exclusive Xbox Live Arcade games either, which pretty much confirms the arcade classic with its Terry Bogard border is coming . Garou: Mark of the Wolves is scheduled for release in spring/summer in Japan. Expect it to come out here around the same time too.

Meanwhile, the King of Fighters '98: Ultimate Match port lingers in existence with an ESRB rating and confirmation from SNK that the game is coming out sometime this year.
