Team Folon's Fallout: London mod officially launched, providing an fan-made new setting for Fallout 4 players. This DLC-sized mod transports players from the American wastelands to the post-apocalyptic streets of London, complete with new factions, storylines, NPCs, weapons, and creatures. It is directly available via GOG, in addition to its official site.

Set in the year 2237, the Fallout 4 Fallout: London mod places players in a world distinct from previous games. Notably, it does not include some series staples such as Super Mutants, Centaurs, or Vault-Tec. Instead, it introduces new British-themed factions and a unique version of a vault that differs from the traditional Vault-Tec shelters. The mod features a condensed map focusing on central London boroughs. The mod does not feature a voiced protagonist, following from internal polls and community discussions.

The developers emphasized that there will be fewer guns in the game, influenced by the historical context of the Fallout universe rather than real-world gun laws. This setting encourages the use of melee weapons and scrapped-together firearms, which is designed to add to the distinctive British atmosphere of the mod.

Fallout 4 is now available for the Xbox Series X, PS5, and Windows PC. Fallout: London requires Fallout 4 and all its DLC to run. The mod is available exclusively on PC and can be ed from GOG or the official site.

On April 25, 2024, Bethesda Game Studios will release a free Fallout 4 update for the Xbox Series X, PS5, and Windows PC. You can read what the updates will have via the official website.

The Xbox Series X and PS5 updates will focus on improving stability, as well as implementing fixes. It will also include native applications and performance updates, allowing you to play it with up to 60 FPS and new resolutions. This update was supposed to come out in December 2023. However, Bethesda needed to delay it, as the developers needed more time to work on it.

The PC version of the update will also have fixes, such as to the Creation Kit and some quests. It’ll also introduce widescreen and ultra-widescreen . Those who played in Chinese and Japanese were unable to to Bethesda’s website, thus locking them out of some mods.

While Fallout 4 was originally only on Steam, the Microsoft Store, and GOG, it will become available for purchase on the Epic Games Store along with this update. You’ll also be able to play it on the Steam Deck. Aside from fixes, the update will introduce new Creation Club items such as Enclave skins, as well as a Makeshift Weapon pack and a Halloween Workshop.

Fallout 4 is readily available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC. The free Fallout 4 update will only be for the Xbox Series X, PS5, and Windows PC though.

Bethesda updated the status of the Fallout 4 PS5 and Xbox Series X next-gen update over a year after it was announced. It is now coming in 2024.

Here’s Bethesda’s official statement, which ended up shared on social media on December 13, 2023. This next-gen update was supposed to debut before 2023 ended, according to the October 24, 2022 reveal. The announcement didn’t explain what might have caused the delay. It only cited the developer as needing more time to complete the update.

Prior to this reveal, one of the last times it came up was when former Bethesda Head of Publishing Pete Hines responded on social media on it prior to his retirement. When someone asked for an update, he mentioned Starfield was the priority and said, “When we have an update, we will share it.”

Bethesda’s been a bit tight-lipped about what the new version of the game will entail. Back in October 2022, it did note some cursory elements. A Performance Mode will show up as an option, which will offer a guaranteed, higher frame rate than the current version of the game. 

There will be more to the Creation Club. These were the items people could create, play, and sell in-game. It wasn’t in Fallout 4 at launch, but did show up in the 1.10 update.

As a reminder, Fallout 4 launched on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC back in November 2015. It is now over eight years old. Following its launch, a Game of the Year edition with all of its add-ons also appeared.

Fallout 4 is on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and the PS5 and Xbox Series X next-gen update won’t appear for it until 2024.

Hiyokomod was certain that Kasumi would be a beautiful girl after hearing her voice on tape in Fallout 4, but after meeting her he fell into despair and decided to make it possible to create his very own Kasumi.   Here’s the “AnimeRace Nanakochan” mod:   The above is a scene featuring Kasumi Nakano, but changed with an anime style.     Here are features described by the mod’s creator hiyokomod:

1. 1. This MOD adds a race that looks like an anime.
   2. This race has several character creation elements.
   3. You can use it as a player or NPC.
   4. You can use most hairstyles including those added by MOD and equipment other than head as it is.
   5. These characters are very lively because they can have various expressions.

  And his story on why he decided to make the mod:

When I first learned about Kasumi and heard her cute voice on the tape, I imagined that she was definitely a beautiful girl. I was absorbed in her and went to see her in a hurry. I was so excited that I even forgot that the game I was playing was Bethesda.   I was in despair when I met Kasumi. At the same time, I realized that my ideal kasumi could not exist in this world. I had to choose between quitting the game or creating my ideal kasumi.  (I wasshocked so much.)   And I decided to make the ideal kasumi by myself. I created this mod after learning about modeling and character mod that I had never experienced before.   The MOD was born in this way. I’m glad if you enjoy this mod.

The ultimate version of Fallout 4 has been announced. On September 26, 2017, Bethesda will release Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. This will be a version of the game that includes every add-on and update, meaning someone will have access to Automatron, Far Harbor, Nuka-World, the three Workshop packs, mods, and Survival Mode,

There will be two versions of the Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition. The first is a standard version that includes the games and add-ons for $59.99. However, the Pip-Boy Edition, which includes a wearable Pip-Boy that can hold your phone, a pocket guide, and Vault-Tec Perk Poster, will be released. It will only be available in North America for $99.99. It will not come in a capsule, like the original Pip-Boy Edition did.

Fallout 4 fans will soon be able to obtain a replica of the game’s Alien Blaster. Bethesda has teamed up with replica manufacturer TriForce to create the 1:1 scale weapon.   The 15-inch replica looks exactly like its in-game counterpart, right down to its operable LED lights, although it doesn’t actually shoot lasers of any kind. However, this replica is only for the most die-hard fans, boasting a heft $400.00 price tag, as well as a $100.00 preorder deposit.   Those who wish to preorder this collector’s item can do so over on TriForce’s official website. The Fallout 4 Alien Blaster will ship out sometime early 2018.

The PlayStation 4 versions of both Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will not be ing mods. In an official update provided on Bethesda’s website, it states, “After months of discussion with Sony, we regret to say that while we have long been ready to offer mod on PlayStation 4, Sony has informed us they will not approve mods the way they should work: where s can do anything they want for either Fallout 4 or Skyrim Special Edition.” The developer has promised to issue an update if anything should happen that would allow mod to come to Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Mods first officially came to the PC version of Fallout 4 after the Creation Kit launch on April 26, 2016. At that time, Bethesda promised and delivered Xbox One mod in May 2016, saying PlayStation 4 mod would arrive in June 2016. On June 29, 2016, Bethesda confirmed that PlayStation 4 mod had been delayed.

Fallout 4 is immediately available. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 28, 2016.

Fallout 4’s final DLC is here, bringing Nuka-World to the Commonwealth. While it isn’t exactly the happiest place on earth, due to the current state of affairs, it is still largely intact. The attractions remain. There are plenty of resources. You can even enjoy some lighthearted activities. But mostly, you’re going to face quite the challenge. Nuka-World does quite a bit to challenge people drawn to the theme park.

That Nuka-World’s radio signal doesn’t unlock until you’re level 30 should be quite a hint. Once you reach or that point, you can find a quest under data and listen to Harvey’s broadcast on the radio. That gives you a waypoint. If you’re at a lower level, you can still get in. You just have to find Nuka-World on your own. Go to the Federal Ration Stockpile and head directly west, toward the edge of the map. At a run, you should reach the Nuka-World transit station in under five minutes. Just… don’t keep running when you get there. People are waiting for you. Personally, I recommend making an approach from the left side. There’s a gate you can unlock, provided you have Advanced lockpicking skills, and it’s much easier to take people on when they’re forced to funnel through that door.

Once you get past that, you’re put through the Gauntlet. Nuka-World belongs to three Raider gangs known as the Disciples, Operators, and The Pack. While a man named Porter Gage, a former Raider, is on your side, you first need to bring a peace of sorts to the park. Which isn’t easy, since that involves taking the fight to all bosses to prove your worth, as well as using Star Cores to stop the Galactic Zone’s robots. Once again, lockpicking skills can help save the day. It almost feels like Fallout 4’s Nuka-World expects you to be as sneaky and advanced as the Raiders you’re facing, ready to be underhanded with Advanced or Master lockpicking skills or making yourself a Lady Killer or Man Hunter to talk yourself out of trouble.

I mean, you know a situation is going to be bad when even Nuka-World’s Deathclaws are deadlier. A standard Deathclaw is at level 22. The Quantum Deathclaws, which have naturally been feeding on Nuka Cola all these years, are at level 41. That means double the health and defense, over twice as strong, and naturally quite aggressive. But then, it’s fitting, since this Fallout 4 expansion is also home to other daunting creatures like ant swarms, cave crickets, and gatorclaws. You know it’s a bad situation when the hordes of Raiders might just be the friendliest faces there. I highly recommend coming in at least at level 25. But then, I arrived at level 25 and struggled, so 30 could be safest of all.

That isn’t to say you can’t enjoy a little levity in this experience. Fallout 4’s Nuka-World provides plenty of opportunities to be silly, sight-see, and have the kinds of adventures you’d expect in an amusement park. You’re able to mix flavors of Nuka Cola, as an example, either through following recipes immediately available or by applying ones you’ve found throughout the park. There are 20 flavors you can make and doing so gets you the Beverageer honor. It’s worth it, since all drinks restore health or action points and occasionally offer buffs.

A few of the basic Nuka Cola recipes will be immediately available at the Mixers you find in the park. For example, one Nuka Cola and one Nuka Cherry makes a Newka Cola, which restores 200 HP and 50 AP. I recommend saving as many sodas as you can, because Nuka-World’s Cappy’s Cafe has the best recipe. It’s there that you learn to make Nuka-Cide, which uses a Nuka Cola, Nuka Cherry, Nuka Dark, Nuka Grape, Nuka Quantum, Nuka Quartz, and Nuka Victory. All of those blended together restores 1,200 HP and 300 AP, while also adding buffs that add 20 HP, 50 AP, 35 Rad Resist, and 35 carry weight. It’s great, and something you will absolutely need to survive this Fallout 4 DLC.

There’s also a Nuka-Cade to visit. It’s an arcade with five games inspired by classic ones you’d see in a real arcade, like Atomic Rollers, The Bandit Roundup, Hoop Shot, The Nuka Zapper Race, and Red Menace Whac-a-Commie. Each game requires a token to play. You get one from Fritsch when you come to the arcade. You can buy more from him for six caps each, use pre-war money in the token dispensers to find more, or check locations around Nuka-World in the hopes of finding them. You can also redeem tickets at the arcade, either ones earned or found, to get various prizes. I recommend earning and spending at least 600 tickets. That can get you the Paddle Ball weapon and some ammo for it. It doesn’t do much damage (one point of damage per hit, to be exact), but it’s silly fun.

There’s a certain satisfaction that comes from playing through Fallout 4’s Nuka-World. This is a place for people who’ve spent hours leveling up their character and becoming the best they can be. Think of this location as a means of putting all of those skills to the test, with fun activities like soda mixing and arcade games as a change of pace. If you approach it at the proper level and with an empty bag for all the soda and arcade prizes you’ll collect, you’ll enjoy quite a holiday in the park.

  The Nuka-World theme park is the sixth and final piece of additional DLC for Fallout 4. Today, Bethesda has released a retro-styled video featuring the park’s mascots, Bottle and Cappy. Naturally, the video is sponsored by Nuka-Cola and reminds players to obey theme park rules while playing in Nuka-World.   Comedic videos aside, Bethesda has also published an hour-long developer walkthrough of Nuka-World. In the video, the devs introduce players to N.I.V.A., a female bottle character. She’s an informative greeter bot that was added to Nuka-World just prior to it being destroyed. Interacting with her unlocks a Precious Medals quest chain to discover who has been tampering with N.I.V.A.’s systems. The complete walkthrough can be viewed in the video below.     Fallout 4’s Nuka-World DLC is scheduled to release on August 30 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

There are two kinds of Fallout 4 DLC. The first are actual story-based add-ons that give us something to do as we explore the Commonwealth. The others are Workshop packs that expand the usefulness of settlements and allow us to improve our homesteads. While we wait for Nuka-World to take us to a whole new place, we get one final Vault-Tec Workshop pack. While this second-to-last DLC does give us nine new quests, it’s primarily about helping us craft an entirely new settlement. Fortunately, it’s a relatively quick, painless, and easy affair that gives you fast access to a new home.

You first come across Fallout 4’s Vault-Tec Workshop by reaching level 20. Once you do, you’ll be able to hear a broadcast from Vault 88 stating there’s some sort of emergency and asking you to come to the Quincy Quarries location. Since the vault was incomplete when the bombs fell, everyone inside of it turned into ghouls. Overseer Valery Barstow is still there, however, and wants you to help get Vault 88 up and running. Which also means conducting experiments on the settlers you can attract to it.

Think of Fallout 4’s Vault-Tec Workshop as an opportunity to enjoy some The Sims-style activities within the game. You have the freedom to do as Overseer Barstow asks or attempt to make the Vault 88 residents happy. It’s an interesting dynamic. After everything’s cleared out, using the Workshop, you’ll get the opportunity to put a settler named Clem through his paces. Fortunately, none of the building demands are too difficult for these experiment quests.

Each one of the five Fallout 4 Vault-Tec experiment quests requires a Terminal. It’s fairly easy to build, as you don’t need any particular perks to create it. All you have to do is get two pieces of rubber, two pieces of copper, two pieces of circuitry, and four pieces of aluminum. It also requires one bolt of electricity to run. By this point, it shouldn’t be too difficult to accumulate all of these items, but you can always put the Terminal away after each experiment and use it for the subsequent ones if you are running short.

The other experiment items aren’t too taxing either. The Power Cycle 1000 Prototype, for the first experiment, needs 4 steel, three screws, 2 rubber, and 2 copper, as well as two bolts of electricity. It also requires one person to use it. The second experiment’s Soda Fountain Prototype only needs 6 steel, 3 glass and 2 bolts of electricity. The Phoropter Prototype, used for the third experiment, is one of the most difficult pieces to build due to the 4 steel, 25 nuclear material, 3 glass, 2 aluminum, and 3 electricity bolts it needs to be used. Finally, the Slot Machine Prototype requires 4 steel, 2 circuitry, 2 gears, 2 screws, and 2 plastic. It’s nice to know you aren’t going in and finding out your current character build is going to keep you from doing incredible things, like Automatron did with its dependence on the Robotics Expert perk.

It’s refreshing, in a way. While the Fallout 4 Vault-Tec Workshop is brief, but it gives you what you want, when you want it, without having to worry about getting yourself in a good place to do it. Instead, you can hop right in and start enjoying and creating, once the incredibly brief experiment quests are done. Of the three Workshop add-ons so far, it may be the most practical for that very reason. It has quests that introduce you to the new location and some additional items, then lets you swiftly get to customizing your new home.

Fallout 4 and its Vault-Tec Workshop DLC are immediately available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Bethesda promised to bring mods to both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of Fallout 4. However, some technical difficulties are keeping part of that pledge from coming true. Today on Twitter, Bethesda officially announced a PlayStation 4 mod delay and said it will update followers when possible, specifically stating the closed beta won’t begin after 1.5.4. game update.

Back on June 15, 2016, Bethesda updated the Fallout 4 Creation Kit so PC modders could begin ing PlayStation 4 mods. At the time, four major issues were detailed. The mod storage limit was capped at 900MB, sounds were ed due to the PlayStation 4’s proprietary sound format, and there could be memory and performance issues due to PC texture usage. The company then said Fallout 4 update 1.5.4., the patch coming to consoles this week, would be a necessary for the PlayStation 4 mod closed beta.

Fallout 4 is immediately available. Both the Windows PC and Xbox One versions offer mod , though the Xbox One has a 2GB storage limit.

Bethesda Softworks announced The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition, a new and enhanced version for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Also announced was a new set of DLC for Fallout 4 and a PC port of Fallout Shelter.  

At the BE3 Showcase, Bethesda Game Studios revealed three more add-ons, with the first Contraptions Workshop available on June 14th. Update 1.6 will introduce Quests to Fallout Shelter, with an all-new combat system, new characters, enemies, and locations to explore. Plus, the surprise announcement that Fallout Shelter is coming to PC. Both Quests and Fallout Shelter for PC will arrive in July. Finally, one of the most beloved games of the last generation (and all-time), Skyrim Special Edition, brings the epic fantasy to life in stunning, remastered detail , with all the official add-ons included. Skyrim Special Edition will release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 28th 2016 , and will full PC Mods on console.
