Square Enix announced that the Fall Guys Final Fantasy XIV will return to the Gold Saucer in-game in October 2024. The event will kick off again on October 23, 2024. We’ll then be able to compete again until patch 7.1 launches in the middle of November 2024. 

This is a return of an Final Fantasy XIV and Fall Guys Gold Saucer event that was first revealed at the 2023 Las Vegas Fan Fest. It first appeared on October 2023. Then, it returned in May 2024. Each time, people participate in Blunderville minigames to earn various rewards. However, you do need to be at level 15 or higher and have completed two quests. The first is the “It Could Happen to You” quest given by the Well-heeled Youth at Ul’dah, Steps of Nald (X:9.6, Y:9.0). The second is “Just Crowning Around” at the Gold Saucer by talking to Lewena (X:4.8, Y:6.1).

This event is identical to past ones, which means there will also be all the same rewards available to collect with earned MGF. Here are some of the most expensive items you can get:

• Ballroom Etiquette - Embracing Blunders emote - 410 MGF
• Gentlebean Bottoms- 410 MGF
• Gentlebean Knit Cap - 410 MGF
• Gentlebean Parka - 410 MGF
• Gentlebean Shoes - 410 MGF

As a note, this is happening during the latest Free Campaign. So if people don’t have an active subscription, they can still potentially return for a few days to take part.

Final Fantasy XIV is available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the Fall Guys event will be back at the Gold Saucer between October 23, 2024 and patch 7.1 in November 2024.

The Final Fantasy XIV and Fall Guys collaboration event is set to return to the game on May 23, 2024, and it will run until June 10, 2024. The announcement came during the 81st Letter from the Producer livestream.

The Fall Guys collaboration event was originally announced back at the 2023 Las Vegas Fan Fest, and it debuted on Halloween that same year. The event features obstacle courses to compete on and a variety of rewards to earn, including outfits and emotes. When the event first arrived, Square Enix stated that it would return but only at "irregular intervals". During this latest livestream, FFXIV Director Naoki "Yoshi-P" Yoshida elaborated that this was part of the agreement with the collaboration partner.

During the livestream, Yoshida also addressed some of the recent DDOS attacks the game was targeted by, as well as revealing some new information on the Viper class, set to arrive with the Dawntrail expansion.

The Final Fantasy XIV x Fall Guys collaboration event will return on May 23, 2024, and it will run until June 10, 2024. The game itself is readily available on the PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X, with the Dawntrail expansion set to launch on July 2, 2024.

Gotta go fast with the Sonic crossover event in Fall Guys! The Sonic's Adventure collaboration event will run from August 11 to August 15, 2022, and will feature a new level, the Bean Hill Zone. This is obviously a reference to Green Hill Zone from the Sonic franchise. During the event, players score points through collecting Rings, and players will get the most can qualify for the next round.

Aside from a new level and way to play Fall Guys, the Sonic crossover also has new costumes. You can dress up your Bean as classic Sonic’s Adventure characters: Sonic, Eggman, Tails, and Knuckles. Sonic’s Foot Tap emote is also available to complete the look. There are some unlockables that you can get depending on how many Rings and Points you score.

Sonic’s Adventure is hardly the first intellectual property that has appeared in Fall Guys as part of a collaboration. Other characters you could dress your Bean up as include the Cupheads from Cuphead, 2B from Nier Automata, and White from Bomberman.

Fall Guys is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC. The Sonic’s Adventure crossover event in Fall Guys will run from August 11 to 15, 2022.

A NieR Automata 2B Fall Guys skin is on the way. At Summer Game Fest Kickoff Live 2021, it appeared. People will be able to spend Crowns to get it on June 18, 2021. 

Here’s the trailer showing off the 2B, or perhaps 2Bean, costume in-game. As usual, these costumes are divided into upper and lower halves. So it would be 10 Crowns total, with each part costing 5 Crowns.

This comes after Yoko Taro himself said he wanted a NieR Automata Fall Guys collaboration. Back in August 2020, he talked about playing it with Saito-P. At the time, he mentioned wanting an Emil head or Machine lifeform in-game.

This is one of many Japanese characters heading to Fall Guys. A skin of the Vtuber Kizuna AI is in there. There is also a Bomberman-themed outfit for the bean avatars.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is available for the PlayStation 4 and PC worldwide. It will also come to mobile devices in China. It will also eventually come to the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X in 2021.

Konami and Mediatonic revealed a two-way collaboration between Bomberman and Fall Guys. The two companies will add new content from each franchise to both games. [Thanks, Game Watch!]

Mediatonic will add a Bomberman-inspired costume to Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout on June 4, 2021. Players will be able to get the special costume by trading in 10 Crowns. (Each half of it will cost 5 Crowns.)

Likewise, Konami will add a new character inspired by the Jelly Beans in Super Bomberman R Online. It will put the Bean Bomber into the in-game store for the players to obtain.

Both games have been known for including characters inspired by many other franchises. Before this reveal, Mediatonic had added Fall Guys costumes based on DOOM, Sonic the Hedgehog, and the Vtuber Kizuna AI.

Super Bomberman R, the predecessor to the new online version, was also known for adding the WWE wrestler Xavier Woods and platform-exclusive characters, such as P-body, Master Chief, and Ratchet & Clank.

Super Bomberman Online R is just available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It is also playable on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X through backwards compatibility. Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is currently only available on PC and PlayStation 4. Devolver Digital and Mediatonic will release the Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X versions in Summer 2021.

Mediatonic announced the next Fall Guys crossover costume, and this time it involves VTuber Kizuna AI. Between March 27-29, 2021, a costume inspired by her will appear in the in-game shop for crowns. There will also be a Japanese Fall AIs tournament with 40 VTubers participating on March 27, 2021. The English Twitter hasn’t mentioned anything about worldwide streams or events yet. The Kizuna AI Fall Guys costume will work in the same way as other crossover outfits do. It will appear in the in-game shop for a brief period of time as two parts. People can use Crowns, the in-game currency you can earn by winning a game or advancing the season , to buy the two halves. Each half is 5 crowns, so the full outfit will be 10 total. Once you have the parts, you can mix and match them with other outfits.

Here’s the stream revealing Fall AIs competitors like Aoi Fuji, Carro Pino, Dennou Shojo Siro, and Omega Sisters. It also features Kizuna AI playing the game in-costume.

And here’s the stream where the eventual Fall AIs VTuber tournament will be held. People will be able to watch it at 4am PT/7am ET/11am UTC/8pm JST on March 27, 2021.

This is one of many crossovers for the game. In the past, people got chances to collect DOOM, Godzilla, and Sonic the Hedgehog costumes.

Fall Guys is available on the PlayStation 4 and PC worldwide. It will also come to the Switch and Xbox One in Summer 2021. The Fall Guys Kizuna AI costume will be available March 27-29, 2021.

There was a brief miscommunication on social media networks regarding Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout on January 20, 2021. Namely, Microsoft’s Xbox Game Instagram briefly suggested that a Fall Guys Xbox Game debut was imminent. However, both Mediatonic, the game’s developer, and Devolver Digital, its publisher, confirmed that it is not coming to the service.

Both companies had a little fun when explaining that a Fall Guys Xbox Game release wasn’t in the cards. Here’s Devolver’s response to one person asking for a source to confirm it wasn’t happening.

So far, the battle royal is only available on two platforms worldwide. People can find it on the PlayStation 4 and PC. When it launched back in August 2020, it immediately appeared as a PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection addition.

Since its debut, some of the most notable Fall Guys announcements have involved crossovers. The game has offered costumes inspired by characters from multiple series since its debut, with DOOM, Godzilla, and Sonic the Hedgehog items among the most recent additions.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is available for the PlayStation 4 and PC. A mobile version of the game will appear in China.

Another special Fall Guys costume is on the way. This one will appear in time to celebrate a special day. Which is Godzilla Day. The Fall Guys Godzilla costume will show up in the in-game shop on November 3, 2020.

Both a screenshot of the outfit and a gif showing one of the characters wearing it were shared. While the suit’s mouth is open, perhaps ahead of a blast of Atomic Breath, the costume has a rather friendly face. Also, there’s a car clutched in the the character’s hand. The full suit will cost 10 crowns. (If it follows the usual pattern, that’s five crowns for the top and five crowns for the bottom.)

A few famous faces have appeared in Fall Guys recently. Sonic the Hedgehog got his own costume, as did Portal 2’s P-Body.

The Fall Guys Big Yeetus has become something of a social media star. The official talks about it. People have made fanworks starring it. Now, there are confirmations on the PlayStation Blog and Twitter that the big hammer will be a part of a Big Yeetus and Anti-Cheatus update that adds level variations, better servers, and Epic anti-cheat measures to make things more fair.

Here’s the video that looks at how some levels could be remixed and feel different than before. Big Yeetus gets its moment at the 26 second mark.

Fall Guys’ Big Yeetus started out as, basically, a joke. It’s a name for the big hammers that can send players’ avatars flying. The official Twitter ran with it, leading to lots of official art and it being added as a variant to cause more chaos in-game.

Mediatonic and Geoff Keighley teased a brief peek of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout’s second season at gamescom Opening Night Live, and they weren’t kidding. It did show show up at the event, and it was a blink and you’ll miss it moment. Still, we learned the game is “heading” to the Middle Ages soon, as Fall Guys Medieval costumes and courses are on the way in October 2020.

A few of the costumes and courses were shown in a trailer and handful of screenshots. Expect courses with castle themes, where you’ll have to pull items around for rounds to scale walls and deal with drawbridges. There will also be new themed costumes, like dragons, knights, warriors, witches, and wizards.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout collaborative costumes aren’t exactly uncommon. Half-Life ones were initially PC exclusives, and we’ve seen Portal 2, Team Fortress 2, and Enter the Gungeon costumes too. Now Yoko Taro and Yosuke “Saito-P” Saito want to see a NieR Automata Fall Guys costume too.

Things all started coming about as a result of Yoko Taro and Saito-P playing Fall Guys together and Mediatonic’s Ed Fear pointing it out on Twitter. Fear’s commentary noted, “Yoko Taro is terrible and keeps getting knocked out in the first round.” He also said, “Saito-P has obviously played quite a lot of it. Says that the anyone wearing the wolf costume looks like a noob.”

However, things got interesting when both Yoko Taro and Saito-P said they wanted to do a NieR Automata Fall Guys collaboration.

The next Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout platform has been released, but it only applies to one region. There will be a Fall Guys mobile port. Bilibili will publish a version of the game in China. [Thanks, GamesIndustry.biz and Daniel “ZhugeEX” Ahmad!]

Ahmad first discovered and shared the Bilibili acquisition of publishing rights. Then, Mediatonic Co-founder Paul Croft told GamesIndustry.biz that it would be going mobile in China.

Here’s Croft’s statement.

We can confirm Bilibili have secured publishing rights to a mobile version in China. As you can imagine, we've had a lot of questions about platforms since launch, and of course we'd love to release on more platforms in the future but for now we're focusing our efforts on PC and PS4.

This comes after Mediatonic had to warn people about a fake Fall Guys mobile scam. Back on August 17, 2020, the developer sounded the alarm that there were fake versions being rumored and people shouldn’t believe it.

Fall Guys has been receiving multiple updates as of late. There have been collaborative costumes connected to games like Portal 2 and Enter the Gungeon. We also know that one of the gamescom Opening Night Live 2020 announcements will offer a peek at what people can expect from the second season of the game.

A Fall Guys mobile version will launch in China. Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is immediately available on the PlayStation 4 and PC.

Another new Fall Guys skin is coming, and it might look familiar to those of you who have played one of Valve's post popular games, Portal 2. That's right, P-Body, the long-shaped robot from the multiplayer portion of the game, is ing Fall Guys as the latest costume. Ironic, considering where P-Body is originally from.

For those unfamiliar with Portal 2, essentially P-Body was the Player 2 character to the more chubbier robot whom Player 1 controlled, Atlas. The two of them are sent out to GLaDOS's Cooperative Testing Initiative (multiplayer  co-op), where they must work together to complete the puzzles set out for them, as the robots themselves are meant to only replace humans as experimental lab rats. Despite this fact, P-Body is seen in the main game as an Easter Egg.

Since the game's release, Fall Guys has seen a surge of popularity. The game has been continuously updated with improvements and more costumes, and recently the developers revealed that Season 2 of Fall Guys will be revealed at the gamescom opening night livestream. Geoff Keighley announced people will get a first look at Fall Guys Season 2 during gamescom Opening Night Live on August 27, 2020.

There’s good news for people who kept facing Fall Guys team games one after another. Mediatonic has released an update that will keep that happening from now on. As of August 20, 2020, you’ll now get a breather between them.

There are currently seven Fall Guys team games. Both Egg Scramble and Hoarders involve getting items (like eggs or balls) in your team’s nest or area. Hoopsie Daisy has you running around a small space and trying to jump through hoops before other players. Fall Ball and Rock ‘n’ Roll both involve pushing balls toward a goal, with Fall Ball working like soccer and Rock ‘n’ Roll having each team push their ball to a goal before the others do. Jinxed is a game where you run around, trying to avoid being grabbed by a jinxed person or grab people who aren’t on your team who aren’t jinxed if you are. Team Tail Tag gives random people tails, and your goal is either to protect your tail or steal an opposing team member’s tail so you have one.

This update also adjusted a few more things. Valve costumes, like the Team Fortress 2 scout or the Half-Life attire, are no longer PC-exclusive. PlayStation 4 players will see them in their in-game storefront too. Both Royal Fumble and Team Tail Tag now each last one minute and thirty seconds. Finally, the Fall Mountain final game will only have up to 15 people playing.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is available for the PlayStation 4 and PC. It is a PlayStation Plus August 2020 freebie until September 1, 2020.
