Okayunyumu, the Hololive game about basically dating and falling in love with the Vtuber Nekomata Okayu, will appear in English. The official site for the visual novel is now open, as is the Steam product page for the PC version. It will release on August 7, 2025. The game and a demo is already available in Japan, where Switch and PS4 versions are also on sale. The official site and Steam page also confirm the game, known as Okayu Nyumu in Japan, is presented as one word for the localization.

In Okayunyumu, we meet an unusual purple cat that turns into a cat girl after being fed. The two end up living together, and the result is something of a love story. As you spend time together and make decisions, you’ll learn more about the character and her past. You’ll also get to interact with the mysterious Inugami Korone. 

The Steam page offered some details about the English Okayunyumu release, so those who didn’t follow it ahead of the launch of Okayu Nyumu in Japan can know what to expect. Only Japanese audio, which will involve voice acting from Hololive Vtubers Nekomata Okayu and Inugami Korone, will appear in the game. However, English subtitles and menus will be present. There are also two screenshots that show off the English translation.

This Nekomata Okayu game isn’t the only Entergram visual novel starring a Hololive Vtuber, as Minato Aqua starred in one as well. Aquarium appeared in 2023. It also appeared in English on PCs following the Japanese debut.

Okayunyumui will come to the PC via Steam in English on August 7, 2025, and the game is already available in Japan on the Switch, PS4, and PC.

Okayu Nyumu is a visual novel starring Nekomata Okayu, a VTuber associated with hololive. She first revealed it in October 2024 during a stream. In Okayu Nyumu, Okayu is a mysterious girl with cat ears, and she appears in the protagonist’s house after they feed a stray cat one day. The two end up living together, and you can get closer to her through dialogue options. According to the website’s description, Okayu Nyumu is a game that focuses on the pure love between you and Okayu as you two go about your daily lives together.

Okayu isn’t the only hololive member to appear in the game. In November 2024, Entergram revealed that Inugami Korone will also be in Okayu Nyumu as a major character. However, it doesn’t look like other hololive VTubers will make appearances in this game, judging by the official website. The people behind the Korone and Okayu personas are very close friends, which is likely why Korone’s the only one to make a cameo.

Inugami Korone will be appearing in Okayu Nyumu, a game that Nekomata Okayu of hololive stars in and oversaw. This is a romantic visual novel game that’ll come out on February 27, 2025 for the PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC.

The story takes place in a world where Okayu is an actual character rather than someone’s VTuber persona. You play as someone who feeds a stray cat one day and then wakes up the next morning to see a girl with cat ears in your futon. This girl is Nekomata Okayu, who ends up living with the protagonist. As they grow closer, things take a turn for the romantic.

Korone appears in Okayu Nyumu as a mysterious girl who claims that she used to live with Okayu. Earning her trust is key to uncovering who Okayu really is, which is a key mystery in the game’s story. The line next to her profile on the game’s website is “I won’t let you have Okayu!” which shows that Korone in this universe has a very possessive streak. In real life, the personalities behind Okayu and Korone are very close, and the game seems to recreate their deep friendship. It’s unknown if other VTubers Okayu’s friends with will appear in Okayu Nyumu.

Okayu Nyumu will come out on February 27, 2025 for the PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC. There is no information on an English release as of yet.

Entergram has confirmed the release date and platforms for Okayu Nyumu, the visual novel starring the Hololive Vtuber Nekomata Okayu. The company will release the title for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC on February 27, 2025. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

The company has also published details about the visual novel's availability. The Switch release will have the most complete offering with both physical and digital releases, while the PS4 version will only be available digitally at 2,970 yen (~$19.55).

Entergram has also revealed physical limited editions for Okayu Nyumu that will be available for the Switch and PC versions. The regular limited edition will cost 9,900 yen (~$65.15) and come with a drama CD, original soundtrack, a hanging tapestry, an acrylic stand, keychain, and magnet, as well as three instant camera-styled portrait cards.

There will be also a Hololive Official Edition that costs even more at 14,300 yen (~$94.15). In addition to the above items, this set will include an acrylic , a theme song CD, and another drama CD that would be exclusively available at the Hololive Production Official Shop.

Nekomata Okayu first revealed the visual novel themed after herself in a live stream held earlier in October 2024. She will be the second Hololive Vtuber to have a visual novel made by Entergram after the now-graduated Minato Aqua's Aquarium.

Okayu nyumu will be available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Windows 10/11 PCs on February 27, 2025.

During a recent livestream, Hololive Virtual YouTuber Nekomata Okayu announced Okayu Nyumu!, a new romance visual novel being developed in collaboration with Entergram. The game, described as a "pure love visual novel," will star and be supervised by Okayu herself. A teaser website for the project will launch on October 18, 2024, at 11:00 JST/7:00 PT/10:00 ET/4:00 CET.

This announcement comes after Entergram's previous cancellation of the sequel to Aquarium, a romantic visual novel led by the recently graduated Hololive VTuber, Minato Aqua. Alongside the visual novel announcement, Okayu also premiered her cover of ㋰Responsibility Society on her YouTube channel, described as a song about being “born with a natural ability to be reckless and uninhibited.”

In related news, earlier in 2024 Nekomata Okayu’s songs Mogu Mogu Yummy, Dokuhai Swallow, and Kamisama Nekosama were added to Sound Voltex Exceed Gear. In addition to the music, Okayu herself became a limited-time unlockable navigator in the rhythm game.

Entergram has lifted the streaming guidelines on Aquarium for a limited amount of time. Until Minato Aqua’s graduation on August 28, 2024, people will be able to videos or images of the entire game.

The streaming guidelines and restrictions for Aquarium are available on the game’s website. You cannot videos or stream content past Chapter 2, and you also cannot the scenes without any editing to it. In other words, you have to alter the content a little, whether it’s through adding textual explanations or audio commentary. You should also avoid ing screenshots of the game past Chapter 2.

However, between now and Minato Aqua’s graduation on August 28, 2024, content creators are free to videos and screenshots of the entire game. After August 28, 2024, though, Entergram asks that people private their videos and content. The guidelines will return to normal after Minato Aqua’s graduation.

Minato Aqua is a member of the second generation of hololive. VTubers who debuted alongside her include Murasaki Shion, Yuzuki Choco, and Oozoora Subaru. She announced her graduation on August 6, 2024 via her YouTube channel. Cover then confirmed this news on its X (formerly known as Twitter) .

Aquarium is readily available on Windows PC via Steam. Until August 28, 2024, fans and content creators can content from the entire game.

Entergram announced that it will stop development on the sequel for Aquarium, which was the romantic visual novel made by Minato Aqua of hololive. This is due to Aqua’s graduation, which will take place on August 28, 2024.

The full announcement is available on the company’s X (formerly Twitter) . It apologizes to everyone who was waiting for a new Aquarium game, but hopes that people can understand the reasons as to why it had to. At the end of the message, it reminded people that the current Aquarium game is still available online and you will be able to buy it even after Minato Aqua graduates.

Minato Aqua announced her graduation on August 6, 2024, stating that she would graduate on August 28, 2024. The talent behind the personality said that this was due to creative differences with Cover and hololive, though didn’t give more reason beyond that. She doesn’t want people to speculate online about her reasons. Minato Aqua debuted with hololive on August 8, 2018 as part of the company’s second generation. Other VTubers who debuted alongside her include Oozora Subaru and Murasaki Shion. As of the time of writing, Aqua has over 2.08 million subscribers on her YouTube channel.

Aquarium is available on the Windows PC, Nintendo Swich, and PS4. The Aquarium sequel is no longer in development.

Not only did Hololive Vtuber Minato Aqua act as a producer on and star in her own visual novel named AQUARIUM, but the game ended up appearing worldwide. Now that the Hololive game is available globally on PCs, Siliconera spoke with the performer to learn more about what it was like to prepare a game and what she’d like to do next.

Jenni Lada: What was it like doing voice acting for a game where you’d be starring as “yourself?” What elements from your typical streams and life did you try and incorporate into your performance in AQUARIUM?

Minato Aqua: Voice acting and recording for games is completely different from streams and live performances, and it was extremely difficult to carefully read each word as dialogue. In normal broadcasts, I try to be honest in order to clearly convey my thoughts, but in games, I record with careful pronunciation and intonation in order to accurately convey the story and characters' lines. 

You also served as a producer on AQUARIUM. What sorts of tasks did you undertake? Also, what did you learn from the experience? 

Minato: My tasks were the main plot of the story, the concept, and overall worldview. The screenwriter wrote the story based on the rough outline that I had envisioned. Through my VTuber activities, I always try to be someone who can move people's emotions and feelings, so I hope that the game will move the people who play it and become a work that gives them energy and motivation. 

I also suggested that I would like to have Captain (Houshou Marine) and (Shirakami) Fubuki-chan, and that I wanted Hanekoto-sensei for the key visuals and the designs. 

Through producing, I was able to see up close how a game is made, and I hope that many people will see this game. I was once again moved by how a piece of work was completed with such strong energy. I was really happy that my fantasy turned into a reality though this game.

How did you help influence the game’s design and direction?

Minato: In of game design, the designers and I put a lot of effort and detail into the design of the maid uniform. I am extremely satisfied that I was able to fully reflect my fetishism and obsession of cute things. In response to such broad and unreasonable requests such as “Please make sure this game is full of kawaii (cute) and all things cute!”, the staff at ENTERGRAM (game company) delivered and made sure to make even the smallest details, including the game's UI cute. 

How do you feel about it getting a worldwide release and heading to Steam? Will any additional preparation go into this release on your end?

Minato: I would like many people from around the world to play this game. It's a wonderful story full of cuteness, laughter, and tears, so please play until the end!

How would you feel about the prospect of potentially working on future games?

Minato: I still have a lot of imagination in my head, so if I have another chance, I would definitely like to do it! I'm looking forward to a game company / game developers to come forward that will make my wish come true! 

Now that your first game is done and on Steam too, what would you like to do next?

Minato: I would be very happy if AQUARIUM continued as a sequel in some form! In order to release a sequel, it first has to sell many copies, so please and buy this game! 

AQUARIUM is available for the PC via Steam worldwide, and the Hololive game is on the PS4 and Switch in Japan.

Hololive and Entergram announced a release date for the PC version of Aquarium, the Minato Aqua game. It will appear on October 26, 2023 in Japan. Hololive opened pre-orders for the limited edition PC version of the game. Already available on the Switch and PS4, the PC version will include an additional side story and an English language option. There is currently no option for a digital , however Hololive stated a Steam page is coming soon.

Originally announced and released in 2022, Aquarium features Hololive Vtubers Minato Aqua, Shirakami Fubuki, and Houshou Marine. Players take on the role of the heir of the Francois family. You must take Aqua on as a beginner maid in order to sharpen your leadership skills.

The Hololive-exclusive Limited Edition of Aquarium for the PC includes a tapestry, acrylic figure, acrylic keychain, acrylic , OST, theme song CD and 2 drama CDs. It costs $67. It is expected to ship sometime between October 26, 2023 and November 4, 2023. The additional side story will be added to the PS4 and Switch versions in a free update, however the English language option will not.

Hololive Production's English branch recently held its first concert, Connect the World, in Los Angeles, California. of Hololive Indonesia, who performed as guests at the concert, spoke to Siliconera about the experience.

A teaser site for Yuki Yuna is a Hero: Bouquet of Brilliance (or YuYuYui) has gone live. This is a PS4 and Nintendo Switch version of the mobage of the same name, which ended service in 2022. Aside from all of the content that had been on the mobile game, the console version of Yuki Yuna is a Hero: Bouquet of Brilliance will have some new scenarios and illustrations. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

Yuki Yuna is a Hero: Bouquet of Brilliance closed down on October 28, 2022 after around five years and a half of service. In that amount of time, it has accumulated so much content that to pen it all down on paper would fill up over thirty light novel volumes. All of that content will be available in the console version of Bouquet of Brilliance, along with some new stories. There will be eight chapters in total, with both stories original to the game and from the source. It will be fully voiced as well.

There will be a total of 31 characters. Each character has their own unique ability and element. Combat in the game is very similar to tower defense, since you have to prevent Vertexes from reaching a Shinju. In order to do so, you can move your heroes around on the field. You’ll have to think about your characters’ elements, abilities, and attack ranges in order to come up with the optimal strategies.

The console port of Yuki Yuna is a Hero: Bouquet of Brilliance will come out for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan. More information on its release date will appear in the near future.

Entergram and Hololive will release a new dating visual novel Aquarium starring VTuber Minato Aqua. The VN will release for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on October 27, 2022. The teaser site for Aquarium reveals the game's key art and further details. Second generation Hololive VTuber Minato Aqua is both producing and starring in the game. Furthermore, the description indicates that it will be a "romantic adventure game." However, there are no gameplay details as of yet.

The key art features Minato Aqua in a maid outfit holding a mop. It appears that she is floating in the air alongside various fruits, a tray with a cup of tea, books, and other snacks. To her right is her grey stuffed cat holding a bell. It appears to be a European setting, with possible fantasy elements.

Minato Aqua announced Aquarium's development earlier this year during a solo concert performance. The game's developer, Entergram, created KonoSuba: Labyrinth Of Hope And The Gathering Adventurers as well as other visual novels.

Hololive and Entergram will release Aquarium for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on October 27, 2022. Pre-orders will open on June 30, 2022. The PlayStation 4 version of the game will be a digital . There is no confirmed price or English release.

A sequel to KonoSuba: Labyrinth Of Hope And The Gathering Adventurers is now in development. Developer Entergram announced that it will release the game on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. While the company opened up a new teaser site for the game, there is no confirmed release date. However, the company did state that it will reveal more information about the title on March 18, 2022.

The teaser website provides a new visual for the sequel. The image features Kazuma, Megumin, Aqua, and Darkness. Though the website URL includes "KonoSuba 2", the announced game does not have a confirmed title.

What we do know is that the game will be a sequel to the dungeon RPG KonoSuba: Labyrinth Of Hope And The Gathering Adventurers, which released for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in 2019. The game later received an updated "Plus" version for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch in 2020. The enhanced version added new elements such as skills for Kazuma, as well as new events and outfits.

Last year, the official KonoSuba Twitter announced that a new anime series was in production. Aside from video games and anime, there is also a KonoSuba TRPG available in English via Yen Press.

The KonoSuba: Labyrinth Of Hope And The Gathering Adventurers sequel is in development for PS4 and Nintendo Switch. There is no confirmed release date or price. Developer Entergram will announce further details on March 18, 2022.

This will actually be the Vtuber's second appearance in a video game, as she and other Hololive stars appeared in a Neptunia title. She showed up in the PS4 and PC game Neptunia Virtual Stars. That's available worldwide.

As part of the Aqua Iro in Wonder☆Land concert, Minato Aqua and other Hololive Vtubers appeared to perform some of her most notable songs. A streaming concert ticket is available for 5,000円 (~$43). It also marked the debut of DNN’s “I Wanna.” Some of the songs she performed were “Dadadada Tenshi,” “Discommunication Alien,” “Domination! All the World is an Ocean,” “I Wanna,” and “For the Win.”

In addition to the concert merchandise and game, lots of Minato Aqua figures are either available or on the way. She has her own Nendoroid, which is available now in Japan. There will also be a Aqua Iro Super Dream scale figure. Good Smile Company just announced and shared concept art for it.

The KonoSuba dungeon RPG that released in Japan last June for the PS4 and PS Vita is getting an enhanced version for PS4 and Switch with an added 'Plus' to its title.

According to the announcement tweet from Entergram, KonoSuba: Labyrinth of Hope and the Gathering Adventurers Plus will feature added new elements for PS4 and Switch. The announcement didn't come with any information on the said new elements, but Entergram launched a teaser website for the enhanced KonoSuba dungeon RPG.

The teaser website also shared a look at the above image, which features the standard version's box art on the right and the new limited edition version's illustration on the left. The image also says that "Plus will add many new elements to KonoSuba: Labyrinth of Hope and the Gathering Adventurers" so fans can look forward to learning more about that in the near future. More info on the limited edition version will also become available on a later date.
