Triple-action hack-‘n’-slash MMORPG ELOA: Elite Lord of Alliance has been updated with an expansion called “The Lost Temple.”

It includes the new challenging raid dungeon “Lost Temple,” which is a ruin abandoned long ago, and fraught with dangers only Level 40 players and up are allowed to experience.

The final bosses you’ll encounter in this temple include Mabo, Shed, and Nemegaz. “Since all bosses have their own 1-hit fatal attack, avoiding annihilation will be the most important tactic in helping players defeat enemies and get Lv. 40 unique weapons for all classes,” says publisher WEBZEN.

This update also brings with it a dungeon hunter event that lasts until February 23rd. “The first three players (including all party ) of each server who submit their dungeon-clear screenshots of the Lost Temple in the event thread on the official ELOA forum, will get the Happy Phillos Uniform Collection: A costume that changes their characters’ appearance,” says WEBZEN.

Plus, the best screenshots from each server will be picked by ELOA’s game master in the forums, and an attendance-check event is being held until the end of February.

WEBZEN has announced that the open beta for its anime-inspired “triple-action” hack-‘n’-slash MMORPG ELOA: Elite Lord of Alliance will start on November 17th.

You can pre- the open beta client on the ELOA website as long as you have a WEBZEN . Once you start playing, you’re encouraged to leave and bug reports on the game’s official forums.

In ELOA, you’ll be able to choose between five playable classes among four races, with each class having access to three combat stances – hence the “triple-action” feature.

Each of these three stances offer a different play style and you’ll need to switch between them as you fight through different enemies in order to overcome them effectively.

As you fight through the game and experience its story you’ll eventually be reborn as a legendary “Elite Lord,” awakening your character’s real power. There’s another story line that continues once you’re an Elite Lord, in which you fight new enemies, and guide the continent of Epheia towards peace and stability.

South Korean publisher WEBZEN has announced that its “triple-action” hack-‘n’-slash MMORPG ELOA: Elite Lord of Alliance will get a beta test in North America and Europe on October 13th (thanks MMOSite).

You can to be part of this beta test with a webzen.com over on the game’s website.

The “triple-action” that WEBZEN uses to describe ELOA refers to the three tactical stances that you switch between during battle. Each stance offers a different play style and has a different function towards victory.

ELOA has five different classes and four playable races. There’s the usual range of quests, dungeon raids, and PvP battles on offer and also has an extensive pet and costume system.
