Bandai Namco announced a launch date for the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC pack based on the Daima anime adaptation. It will show up on May 22, 2025. A trailer also debuted to show what to expect from both of them.

The video began by showing the characters based on Daima ones that are part of the add-on. These are Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta. The two then fight each other, offering a look at their movesets. After that, we get to see the new loading screens included in the pack based on the anime. Avatar costumes based on both of them, as well as characters like Glorio and Panzy, are a part of it. Parallel Quest and Skills based on the series show up too. 

A Time Patrol Pack will debut on May 22, 2025 too, but Bandai Namco didn’t say what will be in it.

This isn’t the only Dragon Ball Daima DLC to show up in the next few weeks. The first promised Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot add-on is coming soon too. That debuts in July 2025. A second one will conclude that story in the adventure later in 2025.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available for the Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the Daima Pack DLC debuts on May 22, 2025. The Dragon Ball Daima anime is streaming on Crunchyroll.

Bandai Namco announced during the 2024 New York Comic Con Dragon Ball Daima anime that DLC involving its characters and story will be in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, and Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. In each case, no exact dates were set for the add-ons, but there are trailers for each one showing them off. 

In the case of Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, Goku (Mini) is already part of the cast as the first DLC. As such, the additional Dragon Ball Daima add-ons will be Vegeta (Mini) and Glorio. Those will appear after Gamma 1 and Gamma 2.

In the case of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, the Dragon Ball Daima DLC comes up during Future Saga Chapter 2. We already know that pack would involve Belmod, Champa, and Perfected Ultra Instinct Goku. Goku (Mini) will also be playable, and he’ll be a part of a free trial.

Finally, the Dragon Ball Daima related addition to Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will be Adventure Through the Demon Realm Part 1 DLC. Once again, this means we’ll spend time with Goku (Mini). It also means visiting the Demon Realm.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 appears on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Switch, and PC. Bandai Namco announced the next bit of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC, and it will continue the Future Saga storyline with a Chapter 2 segment that includes Belmod, Champa, Jiren, Fu, and what looks like Perfected Ultra Instinct Goku. There’s no release date for the add-on yet or confirmation about everything it includes, but it is “coming soon.”

This latest video teasing the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Future Saga 2 DLC begins with Beerus, his twin Champa, and Belmod discussing how to handle a situation. During this part, they are facing Pride Troopers Top and Dyspo, Beerus asserts he’ll destroy Universe 7. We then see Jiren fighting alongside Fu, with suggestions saying Fu experimented on himself. After that, we see Perfected Ultra Instinct Goku preparing to face Jiren.

Things end with a roap, though there are no dates tied to most of the items. Things begin with the  Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Chapter 1 DLC, which is out now, and the Chapter 2 entry is teased. There are question marks after that for Chapters 3 and 4. As a reminder, the last chapter appeared in May 2024. It included Goku Black (Super Saiyan Rose, Ultra Supervillain), Vegeta (Super Saiyan God, Ultra Supervillain), and Broly (Restrained).

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available for the PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. The Future Saga Chapter 2 DLC will head to all platforms “soon.”

People in most countries worldwide have been able to purchase PC versions of Dragon Ball games via Steam. However, Japan was not included in that list until now. Japanese outlets reported that Bandai Namco has just made the Steam releases of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Dragon Ball FighterZ, and Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot available for purchase in Japan on May 23, 2024. While PC releases have been a given for global markets, Japanese companies still have some hesitation with releasing PC versions of their games in their own country. Prior to this announcement, players in Japan had to purchase the PC versions via Microsoft Store. This is because the latter platform is linked with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X versions, which are also available earlier in Japan.

This issue also causes a bizarre case for the title Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero. The game's Steam page mentions the inclusion of Japanese subtitles, but its Japanese website still only lists PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as of May 2024. Dragon Ball: The Breakers was an exception to the norm, as Bandai Namco had included the PC Steam release in Japan during its initial reveal.

However, Bandai Namco has still yet to make every Dragon Ball game on Steam purchasable in Japan. In its report, 4Gamer added that Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission and the first Dragon Ball Xenoverse are still not available in Japan as of May 2024.

The PC releases of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Dragon Ball FighterZ, and Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot on Steam are available worldwide, including in Japan.

The Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Future Saga Chapter 1 DLC debuts on May 24, 2024, and it turns out Broly (Restrained) will appear as a playable character in it. He’ll the already revealed characters Goku Black (Super Saiyan Rose, Ultra Supervillain), Vegeta (Super Saiyan God, Ultra Supervillain), Android 18 (DB Super), and Videl (DB Super).

Broly (Restrained) comes up in multiple parts in the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 new DLC trailer. He first appeared when the Broly Arc Extra Missions were discussed. Then, later in the video we get to see gameplay of him as an actual playable fighter in the game.

The announcement trailer also went over some of the other additions we can expect in Future Saga Chapter 1. Of course, we get to see gameplay footage of Android 18, Goku Black, Vegeta, and Videl. It also showed the Goku Black Arc and Vegeta Arc Extra Missions. The end of the video also showed teasers for Anniversary Antics, Videl: Super Mom, 12 Parallel Quests, 15 new Skills, the Piccolo and Videl clothes, and new Loading Screen Illustrations. It ended with a teaser for free update 18, which includes 6 new costumes and 7 Raid Quests. 

Broly and Broly (Supervillain) are already in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available for the PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and PC. The PS5 and Xbox Series X versions will debut on May 24, 2024, as will the Future Saga Chapter 1 DLC for all platforms.

Bandai Namco shared another look at Super Saiyan God Vegeta, a DLC character that will Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 soon. The latest teaser offers an example of how he’ll play in the game.

In particular, the footage is designed to show off two sorts of attacks Super Saiyan God Vegeta can use. One looks like a standard combo that involves all sorts of kicks and punches. However, included in that is Big Bang Knuckle. It is a type of ranged attack players can use.

This version of Vegeta is only one of four characters who will appear in Future Saga Chapter 1. When the add-on was first announced, Bandai Namco also confirmed  Super Saiyan Rose Ultra Supervillain Goku Black. Later, it noted that Android 18 and Videl will appear as well. Both of them will be based on their Dragon Ball Super appearances. 

Bandai Namco hasn’t talked about what will appear after May 2024 for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 yet. However, the roap for 2024 did confirm more additions are on the way for the rest of the year. The initial highlighted image included three blank spaces with question marks. Not to mention the next DLC is Future Saga Chapter 1, leaving room for additional chapters.

Future Saga Chapter 1 is the next Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC, and it turns out it also means the playable debut of Dragon Ball Super versions of Android 18 and Videl. They will Super Saiyan Rose Ultra Supervillain Goku Black and Super Saiyan God Ultra Supervillain Vegeta. 

Both of these versions of Android 18 and Videl wear outfits and use moves they’d perform in Dragon Ball Super. Bandai Namco went over them at the Dragon Ball official site. So Android 18 will be able to use Kikoha and Steel Mirage as Super Attacks. She also wears her Tournament of Power outfit. The two Videl Super Attacks present with this version of the character are Burning Swan and Seagull Combination. She’ll perform them while wearing the outfit she had on at Bulma’s birthday party during that series. Both of the heroines will also be featured some of the 12 Parallel Quests in the add-on.

In addition, players will be able to dress up as this version of Videl. Her outfit and hairstyle will be added as cosmetics. Bandai Namco shared screenshots of how those will look with us:

As for things to come, we know that the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 PS5 and Xbox Series X versions will both appear on May 24, 2024. After that, the official roap from the end of March 2024 noted three empty blocks with question marks in the “future” section, suggesting we could see more Future Saga chapters or additional add-ons.

Bandai Namco teased more Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC would be on the way once the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions released, and now we have a roap showing the Future Saga. This updates the 2023 one that was shared and confirms two characters.

First, here’s the official Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 update roap as of March 2024. It began by showing the last free update, which added Cross Versus. It also notes the May 24, 2024 release of the PS5 and PS5 versions. However, in the space above the new console versions, the first Future Saga DLC is mentioned. The “Coming in the Future” section has four areas marked.

The Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Future Saga Chapter 1 DLC has three elements confirmed. First, it will introduce a new scenario to the game. This comes up in the teaser trailer. It also noted that Super Saiyan Rose Ultra Supervillain Goku Black and Super Saiyan God Ultra Supervillain Vegeta will be two DLC characters. There is a third one marked by three question marks below their names. Unspecified “other content” is also mentioned.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 PS5 and Xbox Series X versions are on the way, with a release date set for May 24, 2024. The announcement also confirmed people can carry over progress from PS4 and Xbox One versions.

It has almost been eight years since Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 first debuted. The hybrid action and fighting game first debuted back in 2016 on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Since then, Bandai Namco ed it with additional ports and new DLC that expanded the experience. While Switch and Stadia versions followed in 2017 and 2019, it’s been about four years since that last release. The PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 were announced in October 2023 alongside a new roap for the game.

Bandai Namco hasn’t discussed what could be coming after or alongside these releases. However, the aforementioned roap did mention more DLC would be on the way. It said that there’d be characters and scenarios coming to the game. 

The last major add-on arrived back in May 2023. That involved Gohan Beast and  Orange Piccolo. Cell Max also showed up. There was also a free update in October 2023 that added the Cross Versus mode for everyone and a Festival of Universes event.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available for the PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and PC. The PS5 and Xbox Series X versions will debut on May 24, 2024.

Bandai Namco released a Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 roap for the 2023 and 2024 DLC and updates while teasing “a step toward the future.” On October 12, 2023, there will be a free update alongside the game’s seventh anniversary. This will include a Welcome Campaign bonus and DLC character free trial. However, in the future more DLC and the PS5 and Xbox Series X ports are on the way.

First, there’s the actual roap. It shows that for the roap, people can take part in the Festival of Universes event or face others in the Cross Versus battle mode. We can also level up our avatars further, as the cap was unlocked, and et Awoken Skill Ultra Instinct. People can for a one-week period between October 12-19, 2023 to get bonuses. 

As for the DLC character trial period running until October 19, 2023, people can test the following folks out without buying them:

As for that teaser trailer, here’s what Bandai Namco had to show about the future of the game. It suggested some new characters, as well involved some new key art. At the end of the video, it also showed what comes in various editions. The Deluxe Edition features early access to Future Trunks and Super 1-4. The Special Edition adds the Hero of Justice Pack Set.

Bandai Namco’s continued ing the game since its 2016 launch on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC in 2016. For example, Switch and Stadia ports appeared in subsequent years. Among the 2023 additions included Orange Piccolo and Cell Max.

Bandai Namco announced it sold more than 10 million units of both Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and Dragon Ball FighterZ worldwide. To commemorate the milestone, Xenoverse 2 will dole out a variety of rewards for players to claim during the celebration. The festivities will start running in-game starting on May 17, 2023.

The first of the rewards in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be a bonus of 100 TP medals during the first week of the event from May 17-24, 2023. Right after that period, players can also claim 50 TP medals for the next 18 weeks for a total of 1,000.

The 10M Campaign will also feature a Special Raid Quest with two main prizes for players ing in. People can get an exclusive "6-Star Dragon Ball Tournament Outfit". There is also a "10-Million Celebration Balloon" accessory earned by defeating enough enemies as part of the themed raid. You can the in-game event from May 18, 2023 to June 14, 2023.

Recent updates added more content to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. The latest one was the apparition of Cell Max as a new Raid Quest, along with the new Awoken Skill: Beast. The new DLC, Hero of Justice Pack 2, has also been confirmed to release on May 11, 2023. It will bring Orange Piccolo, Piccolo (Power Awakened) and Gohan (Beast) as new playable characters.

Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 is readily available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The 10M Special Campaign will be running from May 18, 2023 to June 14, 2023.

Bandai Namco confirmed that Cell Max will be coming to Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 in the next free update on March 23, 2023. This giant enemy from the movie Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero will appear as a new Raid Boss. Furthermore, the company shared previews of the new able content coming to the game that same day.

As you can see in the video, Cell Max will be an exponentially large opponent and it will be possible to fight against him between multiple players. As in the movie, a new Awoken Skill: Beast will be available to defeat him. The apparition of Cell Max in Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 was previously teased during the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2023.

In addition, the Cell Max suit will be available for avatars after the update. This free update will also bring 7 new variations for the CC Mascots, 51 new illustrations for the loading screens, 5 super souls, and 3 raid quests.

Also confirmed was the inclusion of Piccolo (Power Awakening) as the second playable character in the Hero of Justice Pack 2 DLC. Hero of Justice Pack 1 was previously released on November 10, 2022, and included the Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 suits, along with a new version of Gohan as a playable character.

Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The new free update and add-on will arrive on all platforms on March 23, 2023.

Bandai Namco noted that Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 DLC 16: Hero of Justice Pack 2 would show up back in January 2023 and teased Orange Piccolo. Now, there's even more to see. The Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2023 teaser for the next updates is now available. In addition to the paid update, it also shows a peek at the Cell Max Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 raid that will appear for everyone for free.

The teaser first begins with the add-on we already know about. The Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 DLC 15 added Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 costumes and the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero version of Gohan. However, once that's done, it moves onto DLC 16. That's when we get a first look at Orange Piccolo in an actual Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2. That portion of the trailer ends with a "coming soon" release window for the next add-on.

After that, the Cell Max Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 raid shows up. That shows a group of players confronting the free fight. It’s also listed as “coming soon," as it should appear at the same time as DLC 16.

Back when the Dragon Ball Super Super Hero Hero of Justice Pack 1 Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC appeared, another character ended up being teased. The launch trailer suggested another character would appear in a new, stronger form. Now, official screenshots revealed showing the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Orange Piccolo in the Hero of Justice DLC Pack 2. It also showed off the latest Red Ribbon Army outfit headed to the game. There's no release date for the DLC yet, however.

Two screenshots appeared showing how Orange Piccolo DLC will look. In one picture, he’s about to attack. The other makes it seem like he’s flying toward a foe. The announcement confirmed he has two Super Attacks and one Ultimate Attack.

As for the cosmetic outfit, it lets a person dress their avatar like Piccolo in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. The pack will include Red Ribbon Army Soldier #94 Uniform and a helmet.

The Hero of Justice DLC Pack 1 arrived back in November 2022. As with this second one, it is based on Dragon Ball Super Super Hero. People who picked it up got Gohan, Gamma 1, and Gamma 2.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and Orange Piccolo’s Hero of Justice DLC Pack 2 is on the way.

There's a release date for Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 DLC 15, better known as Hero of Justice Pack 1. On November 10, 2022, people will be able to pick it up to add more characters to the game. Not only are Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 showing up. This marks the appearance of the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero version of Gohan in Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 as well. It will be followed by Hero of Justice Pack 2 DLC.

The video begins by showing off the new playable characters. First, Gamma 1 shows up. Then, Gamma 2 footage follows. The Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero version of Gohan follows them. From there, it looks at four new Parallel Quests added in the pack. These are “Beat Bulma’s Minions,” “Hunting Down Hedo,” “I Need a Hero… Pose,” and “Whis’s Training - Gohan’s Awakening.” Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 costumes are among the four outfits in it too. Seven additional skills, five super souls, and 15 loading screen illustrations round out the pack.
