Animate has launched a Kujimate lottery based on Doki Doki Literature Club in Japan. People can purchase tickets priced at 770 yen (~$4.95) apiece, and each ticket is guaranteed to reward a prize item.

The primary highlight of this lottery will be the die-cut cushions with chibi illustrations of the visual novel's four main characters—Sayori, Yuri, Monika, and Natsuki. The prize lineup will also include acrylic stands featuring the above characters with quotes in English.

Here is the complete list of prizes in the lottery, along with the probabilities and whether the buyer will be able to specify the exact item or not.

Team Salvato's visual novel Doki Doki Literature Club has been receiving numerous merchandise in Japan. In 2023, Good Smile Company revealed Nendoroids and Pop Up Parade figures based on the characters. SuperGroupies also released bags inspired by Monika and watches modeled after all four club .

Animate will close the order period for the Doki Doki Literature Club Kujimate lottery on July 7, 2024. It will deliver the prizes in September 2024.

Good Smile Company announced that pre-orders for a Pop Up Parade figure of Sayori from Doki Doki Literature Club are open. You will have until December 7, 2023 to put in your orders.

The Sayori figure Pop Up Parade figure costs 4800 JPY or $31.99. Those in Japan can expect to get her some time in May 2024. Meanwhile, Good Smile Company will ship out the figure in Q4 2024 for North America.

Pop Up Parade figures from Good Smile Company are generally around 17-18 centimeters tall. You also cannot change their poses. The Doki Doki Literature Club Sayori Pop Up Parade figure looks like she’s waving hello at you, since she’s got her arm up and a big smile on her face. It looks as if she’s in the middle of running towards the protagonist as well. In the past, Good Smile Company also released a Nendoroid of her.

In Doki Doki Literature Club, Sayori is the Vice President of the Literature Club, and she’s also the protagonist’s childhood friend. At first, she fits the classic archetype of the bubbly and cheery childhood best friend. However, players will quickly learn that there is more behind her happy facade when they find out just what kind of game Doki Doki Literature Club is.

The Pop Up Parade figure of Sayori from Doki Doki Literature Club is open for pre-order until December 7, 2023. Doki Doki Literature Club is readily available on the macOS, Windows PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and the Nintendo Switch.

Good Smile Company is about to finish a line of figures from a series. The Doki Doki Literature Club Yuri Nendoroid is now available to order. She’ll show up in May 2024 in Japan. After that, she’ll come to read and drink tea in people’s homes in Q4 2024. She costs ¥6,500/$40.99. Also, if people buy her direct from the manufacturer, she comes with a piece of chocolate to hold.

The base version of the Nendoroid comes with three face plates. One features Yuri smiling and blushing. In another, she looks more anxious and embarrassed. The final one shows her when she’s glitching out. She also has a book she can hold and a cup of tea. There are also background and text box parts.

As for the chocolate accessory, people only get that with Yuri if she’s purchased from the Good Smile Company storefronts. It is a hand part that includes a piece of opened chocolate with a bite taken out of it.

This marks the last Nendoroid people will need to complete a collection fo the heroines. Monika arrived first. Natsuki arrived after her. Orders for Sayori opened at the end of September 2023 ahead of her 2024 debut.

Good Smile Company opened pre-orders for the new Nendoroid figure of Sayori from Doki Doki Literature Club (DDLC). The release date for it is Q4 2024 in North America and May 2024 in Japan. The figure costs $44.99/¥6,900 yen and is now available for pre-order from the North American and Japanese Good Smile Company online stores.

Good Smile Company showed off the Sayori and Yuri Doki Doki Literature Club (DDLC) Nendoroids at Anime Expo 2023. Both of them appeared as unpainted prototypes in the announcement. There is no release window for either one yet. Their appearance means that every character in the game will have their own figure, however.

Her smiling face plate is being used, and it shows that the Nendoroid will come with a book for her to hold. The one for Sayori on the right is using a blushing and smiling face plate. It also shows her waving toward the viewer.

We've already seen two Doki Doki Literature Club Nendoroids. Monika came first. She was followed by a Natsuki Nendoroid. There is also a Monika Pop Up Parade figure.

Super Groupies opened up pre-orders for Doki Doki Literature Club accessories and merchandise. Pre-orders will be available until 12pm JST on June 19, 2023. That would be 8pm PT/11pm ET on June 18, 2023 for those in the west. In total, Super Groupies will release six Doki Doki Literature Club items that draw inspiration from the four club .

There are four watches with designs based on Sayori, Monika, Yuri, and Natsuki. The watches also contain references to the game itself. For example, the face of Yuri’s watch is at an angle, much like how the backgrounds slanted in Yuri’s route. Another example is in the black pixels on Natsuki’s watch to emulate the pixels that would appear. Each watch costs 22,000 JPY, which is around $156.80.

Super Groupies will also release a tote bag and a wallet based on Monika. The leather is the same light brown of her hair. As well, the insides contain the “Just Monika” text box, as well as a lot of text glitches. The tote bag costs 18,700 JPY (around $133.30) and the wallet costs 15,400 JPY (around $109.80).

Doki Doki Literature Club started as a freeware game that Team Salvato released in 2017. Though it begins like a normal visual novel, things start to go off the rails after a few hours. It has a large online fanbase, with one of the reasons behind its success behind its usage of surreal and psychological horror. An expanded, paid version later appeared on consoles and PCs.

The Doki Doki Literature Club accessories and merchandise from Super Groupies will be available until June 19, 2023. As a reminder, Super Groupies does offer international shipping, so those living overseas will be able to directly order from the website.

Natsuki comes with a number of accessories. She has smiling, shocked, and upset face plates. Another look reflects certain events in the story. She can also be posed holding a cupcake that looks like a kitten or her Parfait Girls manga volume. Additional body parts let her be posed as though she is sitting. She comes with a poem too. Certain extra parts let you place dialogue boxes in front of her, including an unnerving one.

There's a new update on Doki Doki Literature Club merchandise. Good Smile Company offered details on two figures at Anime Expo 2022. First, it showed an unpainted prototype of the DDLC Natsuki Nendoroid. This marks her first appearance anywhere. The company also revealed a DDLC Monika Pop Up Parade figure is in the works too.

First, here’s the DDLC Natsuki Nendoroid. It confirms she’ll come with a face plate in which she’s smiling and blushing and arm parts that feature her arms folded over her chest. This figure was first announced back in May 2022.

This marks the second Doki Doki Literature Club character in the line. The first Nendoroid is of Monika. She's expected to appear in October 2022 in Japan and December 2022 in North America.

Only two heroines from the visual novel are left. The other of the cast are Sayori and Yuri. It is unknown if they will eventually get Nendoroids too. However, Good Smile Company does sell plush dolls and other merchandise based on the game.

Good Smile Company opened its pre-orders for the Doki Doki Literature Club Monika Nendoroid, and that means there release date windows appeared. The figure will appear in Japan in October 2022. The expected North American debut is December 2022. She'll cost ¥6,900/$70.

We already had an idea of how the figure would look. Both an unpainted prototype and painted prototype appeared ahead of pre-orders opening. However, this marked the first time her extra faceplates and accessories appeared. Monika comes with three face plates. One is of her with a wide, innocent smile. Another features a more... focused, cunning smile. Finally, the third face plate is a spoiler. Her accessories include a pen, desk, chair, and some dialogue boxes with text from the visual novel. There are also leg and hand parts so she can properly sit at her desk. There is a special poem too.

There's no price for the Valentine's Day pre-orders yet. The company also didn't note when the Nendoroid will release. However, we can get an idea based on other recent releases. For example, the Shirakami Fubuki Hololive Vtuber Nendoroid pre-orders opened on February 8, 2022, and she's expected to ship in August 2022 in Japan and October 2022 in North America. This means there is about a six-month gap between pre-orders and shipments to Japan and eight months for North America.

Doki Doki Literature Club is available on PCs, while DDLC Plus is out on the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. People can place a pre-order for the Monika Nendoroid on February 14, 2022.

There's no word yet if other of the cast will get the Nendoroid treatment as well. However, recent interviews did bring up more details about Monika. For example, the Japanese localization for Monika proved a bit challenging.

It also includes an interview with the game's translation team and the Japanese version publisher Playism. This coincides with the Western physical releases for the same platforms on October 8, 2021. Serenity Forge delayed the physical releases twice due to logistical issues caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The title is immediately available digitally on the PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.

When it came to Yume Nikki and the effect it had on Doki Doki Literature Club, Salvato noted that it was more of an inspiration for its ambiance and feeling. He also cited games like Riven and Eversion as inspiring him.

The anime/dating sim side was inspired by my breadth of experience with anime and visual novels, as well as my observations of Western anime culture as a whole. As for the horror, I pulled from a wide range of emotional experiences I’ve had with games and technology over time. Yume Nikki and Eversion were two influential games—not because of their literal content, but because of how they made me feel. There are other amusing influences too, such as my childhood memories of feeling creeped out when the CD tray opened automatically when traversing between islands in Riven, and the disturbing grinding noise my Amiga’s disk drive would make whenever there was a disk read error.

As for the reference to how Monika from Doki Doki Literature Club would behave in SSBU if she ever appeared, Salvato spoke about her potential “Final Smash.”

[Monika] would lecture you about how she’s not going to spoil her starring role just for some cool attack, and you would die from disappointment.
