Capcom has revealed new Capcoroms inspired by Devil May Cry 5 characters' Devil Trigger forms. People will be able to purchase the stackable plushies modeled after the Devil forms of Dante, Vergil, and Nero on November 22, 2024.

Each plush will cost 1,100 yen (~$7.10) individually. On the specified release date, Capcom will put up the products on sale in its physical stores. The outlets are located in Tokyo's Shibuya and Osaka's Shinsaibashi and Umeda. Capcom will also sell the plushies at the new Capcom Store Annex in Mitsui Outlet Park Marine Pia Kobe, which will have its grand opening on November 26, 2024.

Besides physical stores, Capcom will make the plushies available on Capcom Net Catcher. People who cannot visit the stores but still reside inside Japan will be able to find the plushies in the online crane game starting from November 23, 2024.

The new Devil Trigger Capcorom will the ever-growing list of plushies Capcom has been producing. The company has previously released similar Tsum Tsum-like plushies based on Mega Man Battle Network and Resident Evil characters, as well as monsters from the Monster Hunter series.

The Capcoroms of the Devil Trigger modes of Dante, Vergil, and Nero from Devil May Cry 5 will be available for sale in Japan on Friday, November 22, 2024.

While the Asmus Toys site isn’t showing the Devil May Cry Trish figure just yet, Big Bad Toy Store already started taking pre-orders for the scale figure that includes head parts based on DMC 4 and 5. It will cost $194.99, and it should ship in Q3 2024.  [Thanks, Wario64!]

This Devil May Cry Trish action figure is a 1/6 scale one that stands at over 10 inches tall. She wears a fabric outfit. The two head options are based on her DMC 4 and 5 appearances, with the one for the fifth game involving rooted hair. She comes with four pairs of hands, some of which are designed to hold her Luce and Ombra pistols or the Devil Sword Sparda. She also comes with a weapon rack for displaying her equipment, a decorative towel, and a box with pizza in it.

This isn’t the only Devil May Cry figure from Asmus Toys. It also released one of Lady from Devil May Cry 3. That is available now for $210. Dante and Vergil figures appeared before that.

A Street Fighter: Duel Devil May Cry 5 event is on the way and will add Dante to the roster as a playable character. Nico will also make an appearance running a shop. However, it will only be available in-game for a limited time. People will need to play between May 11-24, 2023 to get a chance to add him to their party. This event also appears to be accompanied by a storyline during which we’ll see Dante assist characters in facing M. Bison.

For the event, it specifically mentions characters like Chun-Li and Ryu working with Dante in Street Fighter: Duel. It also mentioned M. Bison potentially seek the power of Qliphoth. Playing will get people Demon Soulstones and Demon Stars, both of which Nico will use. The Demon Soulstones can buy items from her shop, while the Demon Stars are a power-up material.

The next wave of additions for the PS Plus Game Catalog for January 2023 is coming. Sony will be adding a number of new titles to the able game catalog available to PS Plus Extra and subscribers. They'll go live starting on January 17, 2023. This is in addition to the games made available earlier in the month to all PS Plus Essential tier subscribers and up.

Leading the pack of releases for the PS Plus Game Cata January 2023 is Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition. An updated PS5 version of Devil May Cry 5, the game adds graphical features like ray-traced graphics, 3D audio, Turbo Mode, and Legendary Dark Knight Mode. The game also includes all the content from the deluxe edition of DMC 5. Though Special Edition is PS5-exclusive, PS4 owners can get the standard edition of DMC 5 via the Game Catalog.

Additionally, fans interested in over-the-top action can also get into Just Cause 4: Reloaded. Players control Rico Rodriguez, the action-hero Agency operative tasked with ing a rebellion against the Black Hand, a high-tech paramilitary organization that rules the South American country of Solis.

Players with a taste for multiplayer can also grab fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ and the co-op zombie shooter Back 4 Blood. Those who prefer more low-key adventures can nab Life is Strange and its prequel, Before the Storm, as well as sci-fi exploration title Jett: The Far Shore and fantasy puzzler Omno. The PS Plus Game Catalog January 2023 offering for Extra tier subscribers is rounded out by Erica, an interactive thriller that uses live-action footage and branching narrative mechanics.

The official Devil May Cry Twitter has announced that sales for Devil May Cry 5 have sured over 6 million copies worldwide. This includes all six platforms that the game is currently out on, as well as both physical and digital units. In the Tweet, Capcom thanks all of the “SSStylish fans” for ing the game and franchise.

A large portion of the replies to Capcom’s Tweet have ranged from a simple ‘W’ to thanking Capcom for the game. DMC5 is the most recent game in the franchise, and it came out in 2019. There have been no official news yet as to whether or not a Devil May Cry 6 is on the horizon. However, this number of sales may encourage Capcom to give the green light for yet another sequel to the franchise.

Back in April 2022, Capcom announced that Devil May Cry 5 exceeded 5 million unit sales worldwide. That means that within the span of around six months, it sold a million more copies. Though the game is around three years old, it remains a popular entry to the series. This is in comparison to Devil May Cry 4, which capped at 3 million lifetime sales.

Devil May Cry 5 is available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC.

New statues based on the Devil May Cry 5 character V will appear. Prime 1 Studio has opened pre-orders for 200 statues of V in his Devil Trigger mode color. People can place an order at $1,299 with up to six installments after the first reservation deposit. The company will ship the finished products between December 2022 and March 2023.

V will not stand alone on this statue set, as Prime 1 Studio will also include his Familiar companions. Griffon and Shadow will appear fully detailed in the set. Nightmare's head will also show up on the statue's base with an eye that can shine brightly with LED illumination.

The package will also come with a Purple Orb that the owner can place separately. Unlike many other statues from the same company, this set will not have swappable parts or accessories.

Prime 1 Studio has been producing statues of characters from Devil May Cry and other famous game franchises as the company celebrates its 10th anniversary. Earlier in August 2022, the company opened pre-orders for 1/4 statues of Dante and Nero in their EX color schemes. Unlike V, both characters use a variety of weapons, so their packages will also include multiple swappable armaments. Pre-orders for both figures—which are slated for release in limited numbers between April and July 2023—are still available as of this writing.

Devil May Cry 5 is playable on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. An enhanced Special Edition of the game is also available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

Prime 1 Studio has opened pre-orders for Devil May Cry 5 statues of Dante and Nero in their respective EX color schemes. Each statue will be available at $1,199, with the seller accepting payments in up to eight installments via PayPal. The 1/4 scale statues will have an average height of approximately 70 cm (~27.5 inches) and weigh around 16 kg (~35 lbs).

Each statue will have a number of optional parts that the owner can attach to both hands. Dante will be able to choose between the Rebellion and Sparda swords, or the Ebony & Ivory guns and the Coyote-A shotgun. Meanwhile, Nero will have the options of the Red Queen sword and the Blue Rose gun. The owner can also change his right hand to Punch Line, Gerbera, or Overture.

Prime 1 Studio will only produce a limited amount of these statues. It will make up to 350 Dante and 150 Nero EX Color statues, for a combined total of 500. The company will ship both statues internationally between April and July 2023.

Devil May Cry 5 is playable on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. An enhanced Special Edition is also available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. In April 2022, Capcom announced that it had sold over 5 million units of the game on all platforms combined.

Just like Sony, Microsoft kicked off a 2022 Golden Week sale on Xbox games for the Xbox One and Xbox Series X. Also like the PlayStation Store sale, it went live ahead of Showa Day. Game price drops can go up to 80%. However, different titles’ sales can have different end dates, so it is best to check the store to make sure things are still reduced. For example, Tales of Arise’s price dropped until May 5, 2022, while Resident Evil Village is on sale until May 9, 2022.

Capcom announced that sales for Devil May Cry 5 have exceeded 5 million units worldwide. This includes digital and physical sales of the title. However, Capcom did not specify if this number includes sales of Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition. In March 2019, Capcom announced that Devil May Cry 5 sales had sured 2 million units worldwide. This came shortly after the initial release of the Devil May Cry 5, which happened within the same month and year.

In December 2021, Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition won a PlayStation Special Award. This was due to it being a notable title from Asian developers that released around the launch of the PlayStation 5 with noteworthy statistics such as player numbers.

Various characters from Devil May Cry 5 have appeared in several different titles. The characters include V, Nero, and Dante specifically. All three characters appeared in Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation Dx2 for a limited time. They were available to obtain as crossover characters. Additionally, Nero and Dante have appeared in the mobile title Last Cloudia. Like their appearance in Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation Dx2, they were available to obtain for a limited period of time.

While the replica is fairly expensive, it isn't the priciest piece of official Devil May Cry 5 merchandise made available to consumers. In October 2020, Capcom announced it would release a limited amount of Devil May Cry 5 Vergil jacket replicas. The replicas would cost upwards of $5,000, with two versions available to pre-order. This included a battle damaged version of the jacket, and a regular version. Previously, Capcom had limited listings for Dante and Nero Devil May Cry 5 jacket replicas.

Sony Interactive Entertainment announced some of the winners in the PlayStation Partner Awards 2021 Japan Asia. It revealed the winners of the Partner and Special Awards based on sales from October 2020 to September 2021. Capcom's Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition won a Special Award for being a Japanese/Asian-made game released around the PlayStation 5's launch with noteworthy statistics, such as player numbers.

Other than Devil May Cry 5, Sony also gave PlayStation Special Awards to Sakuna: of Rice and Ruin and Apex Legends. Sakuna won an award as a game made by Japanese or Asian indie developers with the best worldwide sales. Apex Legends received the distinction as a Western-made title with the highest sales in Japan and Asia.

Sony awarded Partner Awards to games developed by Japanese and Asian companies with outstanding global sales and metrics. A total of five games received the awards in 2021:

In 2020, Sony gave a Special Award to Death Stranding for being a Japanese/Asian game developed together with SIE with the highest worldwide sales of the period. The free-to-play and online games Apex Legends, Gundam: Battle Operation 2, and Final Fantasy XIV have now won the same awards for two years in a row.

Sony will hold another award presentation on December 3, 2021, and reveal the Grand Award winners. This award goes to the three games made by Japanese and Asian companies with the highest sales from October 2020 to September 2021.

When the Valve’s Steam Deck launches, it will be able to play a number of games from people’s Steam libraries anywhere. To help provide a better idea of how some may look, Capcom showed up with a video. It released a new trailer for an old game. Essentially, it spends about a minute showing how Devil May Cry 5 will look running on a Steam Deck.

This isn’t one continuous bit of footage. Also, it offers an over-the-shoulder perspective, so someone can see the Steam Deck while Devil May Cry 5 is running on it. Things kick off with a look at the title screen. Then, clips starring certain characters while they face particular challenges appear. For example, things begin with Nero fighting Goliath. After that, it cuts to Dante fighting some general enemies. V’s footage is shown off once that’s done. During his segment, we can see him summon and fight alongside Griffon and Nightmare. Finally, there’s a look at what Vergil can do.

People will have to wait a bit longer to see it in person. The Steam Deck was supposed to debut in December 2021. However, material shortages and global supply chain issues got in the way.

Devil May Cry 5 is available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. The Steam Deck will begin shipping in February 2022.

The Capcom Cafe will host another Devil May Cry 5 collaboration in July at the Ikebukuro location. Previously, the collaboration appeared in December 2020, but is coming around a second time starting July 16, 2021. Similar to the previous collaboration, a series of themed foods will be available on the menu. Additionally, consumers can get their hands on exclusive merchandise during this period. The Capcom Cafe and Devil May Cry 5 collaboration will last until September 2, 2021. Additionally, this collaboration will feature new menu items. Previous items included a hybrid pizza hamburger inspired by Dante. Other items included a barbeque plate, inspired drinks, and a chocolate parfait.

The new menu items include a Nero inspired bagel sandwich, a dessert tray inspired by V and his three summons, and a Yamato inspired chocolate parfait. The parfait includes a fully edible dark chocolate hilt. Additionally, a third dessert item is a special chocolate chip s'more inspired by Dante.

Several inspired drinks are also part of the menu. This includes drinks inspired by Trish, Lady, and Nico. Drinks inspired by Dante, Nero, V, and Vergil are also available to order.

Similar to previous events, unique collaboration items are available to obtain at the Capcom Cafe. This includes acrylic keychains, standees, tote bags, coasters, and ice trays.

Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition is now available for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Devil May Cry 5 is available on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

A new Devil May Cry 5 character replacement mod brings in another person famous for dealing with demons, Doomguy. vZv shared the DOOM Slayer via Nexus Mods. People with the PC version of the game can replace Dante with him.

Installing the DOOM Slayer is a fairly easy process. All someone needs to do is use FluffyQuack’s Fluffy Manager 5000 to add the mod after acquiring it. People get masked and unmasked versions of Doomguy with the Devil May Cry 5 mod, as well as EX color and Super Doomguy original costumes. Menu icons change and there’s even an example of how Nico’s Reports handles his inclusion.

Here are some of vZv’s pictures of Doomguy in Devil May Cry 5. Note that some of the weapons shown in the screenshots pull from another mod vZv released. Back in 2020, the creator made a DOOM Stuff pack that added weapons like an Argent Guitar, Crucible Swords, a Hammer of the Betrayer, a Marauder Axe, a Night Sentinel Sword, and a Sentinel Axe.

There’s a new Devil May Cry 5 Nero mod from ShiroeSora, which uses a Xelandis model and was ed by Oreki48. It brings the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 heroines Pyra and Mythra to the game. It also handles their character-swapping nature in a way that works with the game’s natural tendencies.

For the most part, you’ll play as Pyra once the mod is installed. Once you have the ability use Nero’s Devil Trigger, Pyra will transform into Mythra whenever it is used in-game. As a reminder, you do have to beat Devil May Cry 5 once in order to unlock the ability for him. Art of Pyra and Mythra will also appear on the loading screens once it is installed.

Installing the Devil May Cry 5 Nero replacement mod so you can use Pyra and Mythra is easy. People can drag and drop it into the “mods” folder for the game. It is a 130.9MB .
