In case you missed her the first time around, the Nendoroid of Chiaki Nanami from Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair is once again available to pre-order. Orders from the Good Smile Online Shop are priced at ￥7,300, while Good Smile US Store orders will cost you $58.99.

This Nendoroid stands at around 100mm, or a little under 4 inches, and comes with a transparent stand. There are also 3 different face plates included, as well as 3 accessories and a few other optional posing parts like hands and arms. Orders from the Good Smile Online Shop will cost ￥7,300 and are set to ship in July 2025, while orders from the Good Smile US Store will cost $58.99 and should ship in Q4 2025. Pre-orders will remain open until April 16, 2025.

The Chiaki Nanami Nendoroid was originally announced back in 2023, with the actual release coming in 2024. More recently, Youtooz and Spike Chunsoft collaborated to produce plush toys of Junko Enoshima and Monokuma.

The Danganronpa 2 Nagito Komaeda Nendoroid is now available to pre-order from the Good Smile Company. He is available from both the Japanese and US storefronts for ￥6,800/$41.99, and the figure will ship in February 2025 in Japan and Q3 2025 worldwide.

The Nagito Komaeda Nendoroid is based on his appearance in Danganronpa 2, featuring his green coat and wild hair. He comes complete with three face plates, featuring a smiling face, a condescending face seen when he questions evidence in the game’s trials, and a face with swirling “despair” eyes. He also comes with a revolver and a film sheet depicting the game’s argument alert. In addition to various hand parts, Nagito can also be posed to appear like he has his hands in his pockets.

Nagito Komaeda was announced as one of two Danganronpa Nendoroid figures announced at the Good Smile Company’s Smile Fest 2024. The other figure previewed at the event was Kyoko Kirigiri, a major character from Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, who is still under development. Other Danganronpa Nendoroids that have been released include Junko Enoshima and Chiaki Nanami.

The Nagito Komaeda Nendoroid is available to pre-order now and will release in February 2025 in Japan and Q3 2025 worldwide. Pre-orders close on October 9, 2024. His home game, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, can be found on the PS4, PSP, Vita, Switch, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices.

WonderPlanet has announced that it will add crossover characters from Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair to the mobile game Crash Fever in late August 2024. Players will be able to recruit characters from Spike Chunsoft's game for a limited time until mid-September 2024.

A total of ten character units will be available in this collaboration event. Hiyoko Saionji will be the easiest one to obtain, as players only need to to the game daily to eventually get her.

Players can recruit some of the other characters by clearing event quests. Peko Pekoyama, Monokuma, and Monomi will be available as event quest rewards. WonderPlanet will group the latter two mascots into a single character unit.

The following two characters will not be obtainable simultaneously. A ranking quest that lets players recruit Hajime Hinata will appear first until September 6, 2024. Afterward, WonderPlanet will replace it with a union quest that rewards Ibuki Mioda.

The remaining five characters will only be available via gacha. There will be two exclusive gacha banners that separately feature Chiaki Nanami and Nagito Komaeda. The banners will guarantee a Danganronpa 2 crossover character every ten pulls. The gacha may also result in Mikan Tsumiki, Gundham Tanaka, and Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu in addition to the above two.

Crash Fever is a mobile puzzle RPG available on Android and iOS mobile devices in Japan. The game used to be also available globally. However, the global server was shut down in late December 2023, so only the Japanese release is still actively ongoing.

The Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair crossover characters will be available to obtain in Crash Fever from August 30, 2024, until September 13, 2024.

Good Smile Company’s Smile Fest 2024 involved many figure reveals, and Danganronpa Nendoroids of Kyoko Kirigiri and Nagito Komaeda appeared among them. Both are early in development, so only concept art of the two characters appeared.  

Kyoko Kirigiri played a major role in the original Danganronpa and was one of the primary protagonists. Her Nendoroid involves her wearing her standard school uniform. She’ll also wear her trademark gloves and have a ribbon in her hair. Meanwhile, Nagito Komaeda was a major figure in Danganronpa 2. His outfit is based on his appearance there, so he wears his white shirt with red marking and green overcoat.

There have been quite a few Danganronpa Nendoroids released so far. Things started with Makoto Naegi and Monokuma ones. Then, there was the Junko Enoshima one. (She appeared as a Pop Up Parade figure too!) A Chiaki Nanami Nendoroid also showed up.

EXNOA launched a new wave of Danganronpa crossover content for Oshiro Project: RE -Castle Defense-. It added a new personification modeled after Jabberwock Island, which first appeared in Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. The Japanese-Egyptian voice actress Ai Fairouz provided the voiceover for this new character.

The new wave also added Mukuro Ikusaba as a new recruitable character. EXNOA also gives players another chance to obtain the Danganronpa series characters who have appeared previously until March 26, 2024. Here's a closer look at the Danganronpa Jabberwock Island character and Mukuro.

This is the third time Oshiro Project: RE -Castle Defense- features collaboration events with the Danganronpa series. The first event launched in November 2021, and it featured a personification of the Hope's Peak Academy with Rie Tanaka providing the voiceover. It also added female characters from Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, such as Kyoko Kirigiri, Sayaka Maizono, Celestia Ludenberg, and Junko Enoshima. The second event in November 2022 added a Despair version of Hope's Peak Academy and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair characters like Chiaki Nanami and Hiyoko Saionji.

Oshiro Project: RE -Castle Defense- is a tower defense game featuring personifications of real-life castles. It is available on PCs in Japan via DMM Games. The Danganronpa crossover content is available to obtain until March 26, 2024.

Good Smile Company opened pre-orders for its Pop Up Parade figure of Hajime Hinata from Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. People residing in the US and Canada can place orders on Good Smile Online Shop US.

The non-scaled figure will stand at around 17 centimeters (6.69 inches) tall. The item will be available worldwide in 2024 at ¥4,800 / $30.99.

Hajime Hinata is the protagonist of Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, the second mainline entry in the murder mystery-solving visual novel series. Originally released on the PSP exclusively in Japan, the game is now available worldwide both in standalone releases and compilation bundles on the PS Vita, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and mobile devices.

Hajime's Pop Up Parade figure was one of the numerous Danganronpa figures that Good Smile Company teased at WonHobby G 2022 Autumn, which took place exactly one year ago in late November 2022. Besides Hajime, the company also revealed figures for Makoto Naegi, Chihiro Fujisaki, and Mikan Tsumiki.

Pre-orders for the Pop Up Parade figure of Hajime Hinata from Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair will close on January 18, 2024, at noon JST (January 17, 2024, at 10 PM ET). Good Smile Company will start shipping the finished figures to Japan in June 2024 and North America in Q4 2024.

A new collectable item featuring the characters from the Danganronpa series is now available to pre-order on AmiAmi, which ships worldwide, until November 19, 2023. The new Danganronpa student ID cards will cost 550 yen (~$3.67) each and will be released in Japan in February 2024.

All characters from Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, and Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony appear on these student ID replicas. That means there are 48 student ID cards to collect in total. The cards mimic the descriptions that are written on the e-Handbook that is given to the students when they enroll in Monokuma’s institution. They are all in Japanese. For those that would like to carry one with them or use it for cosplay, the cards are made of PVC materials in an attempt to make them more durable.

By pre-ordering a single Danganronpa student ID card, you will receive one at random when they are released. If someone would like to secure all of the cards, a full set for each of the three games is also available for purchase from AmiAmi. One set costs 8,800 yen (~$58.85).

The new Danganronpa student ID cards are available for pre-order until November 19, 2023 ahead of the February 2024 debut. Spike Chunsoft and Kei Mochizuki teamed up for a new Super Danganronpa 2 1/7 scale figure release of Nagito Komaeda. The character is portrayed in Mochizuki’s signature art style. Pre-orders are being taken until November 13, 2023. It is expected to be released in late May 2024 and will cost 23,100 yen ($154.56). It is currently available on the Algernon Product online shop. You can also find it on AmiAmi, which ships internationally.

To prepare for the production of the figure, Kei Mochizuki provided an entirely new illustration of Nagito Komaeda to use as a base for the design. The figure was supervised by him and Spike Chunsoft, the developer of the Danganronpa titles.

Kei Mochizuki drew characters from all three of the mainline Danganronpa games in the past for limited merchandise. You may also recognize Mochizuki’s art style from the game LOOPERS. Additionally, he illustrated the servant Baobhan Sith (also known as Fairy Knight Tristan) for Fate/Grand Order.

The Danganronpa 2 Nagito Komaeda figure is expected to release in Japan in late May 2023. It can be acquired outside Japan if someone goes through AmiAmi. Due to the popularity of the Master Detective Archives: Rain Code booth at Tokyo Game Show 2023, Spike Chunsoft decided that a pop-up shop selling merchandise originally only available at the booth will appear at the AmiAmi Akihabara Radio Kaikan store starting on September 29, 2023 in Japan. At the shop, some Danganronpa curry varieties will also be available for purchase. Pink Junko Enoshima curry, white Nagito Komaeda curry, and black Kokichi Oma curry will be available only at the in-person store for 1,200 yen ($8.06) per box. [Thanks, Denfaminico Gamer!]

With each purchase of a box of Danganronpa curry, people get a bonus sticker. Each character has a different set of four possible stickers you can get. The pink Junko Enoshima curry has a color reminiscent of the unorthodox blood from the Danganronpa series, as well as Master Detective Archives: Rain Code. Both of these series were written by Kazutaka Kodaka.

As a reminder, Junko Enoshima is a world-class model from the first Danganronpa game. Nagito Komaeda is a "lucky" character from Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. Kokichi Oma is the Ultimate Supreme Leader from Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony.

A series of multi-color Danganronpa curries will be available for purchase at the Master Detective Archives: Rain Code pop-up store at the Amiami Akihabara Radio Kaikan store. The store will be open from September 29, 2023 through October 9, 2023. Master Detective Archives: Rain Code is available on the Nintendo Switch. Good Smile Company announced a range of Danganronpa plush. These six plushies based on characters from the first two games in the series are available to pre-order now for ¥4,400/$30.99 each. The range of toys will be released in December 2023 from the Japanese store and Q2 2024 from the US one.

The collection features three plushies of characters from Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc plus three more plush from Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. From the first game, there’s Makoto Naegi, Kyoko Kirigiri and Junko Enoshima. From the second game, there’s Hajime Hinata, Chiaki Nanami and Nagito Komaeda. The plushies are made from cotton and polyester and stand at around 170mm (6.69in) in height.

It’s the latest in a long line of Danganronpa merchandise from The Good Smile Company. Earlier this month, pre-orders opened for a Nendoroid of Ultimate Gamer Chiaki Nanami. This can still be ordered until September 21, 2023 and is set to be released next year.

Good Smile Company is now taking pre-orders of the Chiaki Nanami Nendoroid based on the Danganronpa 2 character. It previously announced the figure was on the way at WonHobbyG in May 2023. The figure is available to pre-order now for ¥7,300 and will release in January 2024 in Japan. Chiaki is also available to pre-order from the US store for $50.99, and ones ordered from there will release sometime in Q2 2024.

The Nendoroid of the Ultimate Gamer, Chiaki Nanami, comes with three face plates. One is an open-mouthed expression similar to her default expression in the game, another is a smiling face, and there's a pouting face. Chiaki also comes with a hood part and a portable games console. There will also be additional optional parts, which are likely to be extra hands.

Chiaki isn’t the first Danganronpa Nendoroid from Good Smile. Nendoroids of Monokuma, Monomi, Makoto Naegi and Junko Enoshima have all previously been released. Chiaki herself has also been released as part of Good Smile’s Pop-Up Parade line, wearing either a Monomi hoodie variant or a black bunny outfit.

Nagito Komaeda from Danganronpa 2 is returning to the Pop-Up Parade figure lineup. The Good Smile Company is taking pre-orders for the Ultimate Lucky Student figure, which is set to be re-released in October 2023 in Japan. It is still immediately available in the US storefront.

The Nagito figure stands at 17-18cm in height and features his long green coat, iconic messy hair, and slightly spiral-shaped eyes. The figure originally released for a limited run in June 2022. The re-release is set to be priced at ¥4,800 on the Japanese storefront and $38.99 on the US one.

The Nagito Komaeda re-release s the Pop-Up Parade figure lineup alongside his fellow Danganronpa 2 classmates, Chiaki Nanami (Monomi Hoodie Ver.), who also releases in October 2022, and Mikan Tsumiki, who is set to release in July 2023. Pop-Up Parade figures of characters from the first Danganronpa, including Kyoko Kirigiri, Junko Enoshima and Chihiro Fujisaki, have also been released.

Nagito Komaeda is known as the Ultimate Lucky Student in Danganronpa 2. He’s the first character that protagonist Hajima Hinata is introduced to. While initially friendly, he tends to exhibit strange behavior during the game, usually triggered by an unusual obsession with hope.

Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair is available for the PS4, PC, Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. The Nagito Komaeda Pop-Up Parade will be re-released in October 2023 in Japan.

Good Smile Company will release a figure of Chiaki Nanami from Danganronpa 2: Despair wearing a black bunny outfit. Pre-orders are open until July 20, 2023. She costs 26,400 JPY and will ship out in September 2023 for Japanese customers. Those in North America will pay $189.99 and get her in Q4 2023.

Unlike the baggy clothes she wears in the game, the Black Bunny figure of Chiaki is more on the skimpy side. This is a 1/4 scale figure that is around 215 millimeters in height. She’s is sitting down for the figure's pose. This is actually a recolor of the Chiaki Nanami: Bunny Version figure that came out in May 2020. That one had a white hat and leotard.

Chiaki Nanami is the Ultimate Gamer in Super Danganronpa 2 and the heroine in that entry. In the game, she wears a jacket that has cat ears on the hood. So she normally is more of a cat girl than a bunny girl. Rabbits are an important animal to Chiaki, since the rabbit-like mascot character Usami is a close friend of hers.

The Danganronpa 2: Despair Chiaki Nanami: Black Bunny Version figure is available for pre-order via Good Smile Company until July 20, 2023. One of the new Good Smile Company WonHobbyG 2023 Spring announcements is a Danganronpa figure reveal. Specifically, a Nendoroid of Chiaki Nanami from Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair is in development. As she's still in the process of being designed, only an unpainted prototype version of the character showed up at the event. While this is her first appearance in the line, she did show up as a Nendoroid Pin before.

Here's a better look at how progress on the Chiaki Danganronpa 2 Nendoroid is going. The prototype shown isn't holding any accessories, so there's no hint as to what she may come with when released.

We've seen plenty of Danganronpa series figures from Good Smile Company before. The original Nendoroids involved recreations of Makoto Naegi and Monokuma. Junko became a Nendoroid too. There are also various Pop Up Parade and scale figures of characters from the games too.

Microsoft announced the first round of May 2023 Xbox Game additions and departures, and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair is among them. This is the Anniversary Edition of the game. This means you can also hear voice lines and see additional art, in addition to playing through the adventure as usual. It will be gone on May 15, 2023. This means it appeared on the service for just over a year.
