Back in February, Crusaders Quest collaborated with Guilty Gear to bring 7 characters from Guilty Gear Xrd – Revelator into the game. Now, NHN Entertainment and Load Complete are collaborating with Guilty Gear again, bringing 4 more characters from the game series into Crusaders Quest.

In addition to the 7 characters from the collaboration earlier in the year, you can now hire Millia, Sin Kiske, Johnny, and Jack-O’ through June 23rd. Additionally, when hiring any of the Guilty Gear characters, you will instantly receive their respective Soulbound weapon.

7 characters from Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator (Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske, May, Chipp Zanuff, Elphelt Valentine, I-No, and Ramlethal Valentine) are now temporarily recruitable in puzzle/tower defense game Crusaders Quest.

Players can obtain a Guilty Gear character by buying a Guilty Gear Contract from the game’s shop over the next few weeks. These contracts do not guarantee a Guilty Gear character, as they may unlock a random 3 star hero from the main game instead. Information on each character’s abilities is available in the Crusaders Quest forums.

Crusaders Quest has players matching ability tiles to have their group of heroes use special powers in battle. Each of the game’s many heroes has different abilities they can use as they automatically march across the screen and fight enemies. The game is available for smartphones.

Toast’s mobile game Crusaders Quest is a pixel-art action RPG tower-defense game first and foremost, but has puzzle elements, too.

You’ll bring different girls into battle, where they’ll move from left to right automatically, engaging any foe they come in with. Some heroes can heal, others can fly, there’s always a warrior tank and others will just blow the living crap out of foes with fire.

Where the puzzle aspect comes is from matching the skills that are dropping into the skill chain list at the bottom. This will presumably unleash said skills.

There will be some 200 different heroes to recruit as you slice and dice your way through foes.

Crusaders Quest will be available on iOS and Android.
