Cerevo opened up pre-orders for the life-sized replica of the SEES Evoker gun from Persona 3 Reload. It’ll come out in March 2025, and it will cost 110,000 JPY ($723.10). [Thanks, Hobby Watch!]

This replica isn’t simply for decoration. With a touch of a button, you can also make it play character voice lines, battle music, and other sound effects. In total, there are 200 sound clips inside of the Persona 3 Reload Evoker gun replica.

You can also put it into Theurgy mode by exchanging a cartridge, which will come with the replica gun. In Theurgy mode, the replica will glow red and the bolt will pop out. After you pull the trigger, the bolt will go back into place while a character voice line and sound effect plays.

Other features include haptic to recreate the recoil of a gun, as well as three different modes. There’s Evoker mode, which only plays sound effects. Random mode will play random sounds. Demo mode will cause it to automatically repeat a certain action.

Cerevo will re-run the 10th anniversary edition of the Dominator from Psycho-. Pre-orders opened on July 23, 2024 and the gun will cost 148,500 JPY ($955.15) or $1229. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

Like the original version, there are over a hundred voice variations from Noriko Hidaka (who voices the Dominator in the show) that’ll play when you hold the grip or point the gun at someone. However, the 10th anniversary model has a slightly modified interior. Everything else is the same, so it’s unlikely that you’ll notice anything different. It’ll also come with a protector case that has a serial number.

This is a 1/1 replica of the Dominator from Psycho-, with Production I.G. (the animation studio that created the show) helping to supervise the recreation. Aside from the voice lines from Hidaka, the Dominator also has over 200 LED lights on it and is capable of transforming. You can connect it to a smartphone app to measure your Criminal Coefficient store, as well as your friend’s. The app is available via the Google Play Store or App Store. As well, you can charge it via USB so you don’t need to worry about replacement batteries.

In the show itself, the Dominator is a weapon that the PSB uses when subduing criminals and latent criminals. Inspectors and Enforcers can only fire Dominators with approval from the Sibyl System (a Big Brother-like program that people use for everything, including calculating an individual’s criminal potential). Depending on the situation, the Dominator can fire paralyzing shots to non-lethally contain a criminal, or a more dangerous one that can reduce them to a bloody goop.

Psycho- is readily available on streaming services like Crunchyroll. Pre-orders for the Psycho- 10th Anniversary Edition Dominator model are open right now and they’ll ship out in Winter 2024 in Japan. The global store lists the shipping window as August 2024. During Wonder Festival 2024 Winter, Cerevo revealed new details about the Persona 3 Reload Evoker Replica and also showed off an unfinished model of the replica Evoker. Cerevo and Atlus teamed up together to create this 1/1 replica Evoker, and the development of the replica has been supervised by the Persona 3 Reload team. The Evoker replica features a number of different functions. With its built-in LED lights, the replica Evoker will light up blue when in its normal mode, but can also shift into Theurgy Mode, which will change the LED lights in the Evoker to red. It will also play Persona summoning voice lines from the various SEES from the game. It is also said that it will replicate the sensation of "blowback" or the recoil experienced when using the Evoker. Cerevo is planning to add additional functions to the Evoker replica.

The replica Evoker will come inside a special carrying case, and will also come with a holster that can be worn by people intending to use the replica for cosplay. Cerevo and Atlus first revealed the Evoker replica during a special livestream held on January 31, 2024.

In Persona 3 Reload, Evokers are used to summon Persona by replicating the act of shooting themselves in the head. The Evoker seems to trigger recoil that mimics the act of firing a gun, and once the trigger is pulled on the gun, a mist appears that causes a Persona to be summoned. While Evokers are not the only way Personas can be summoned, it is primary way they are summoned in Persona 3.

Persona 3 Reload is available to play on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Windows PC. No release date for the Evoker replica has been revealed at this time.

This news came out during the Persona 3 Reload livestream that Atlus held on January 31, 2024. It was a special miniature event to commemorate the release of the game. According to the stream, the Evoker will be to scale and Cerevo developed it under the supervision of the Persona 3 Reload team from Atlus.

The Evoker model has several gimmicks. For one, it can transform into Theurgy Mode, and you can also make it give off light. It can also play the Persona summoning voice lines from all the SEES , as well as play battle music. Cerevo is currently developing more functions, so the final product will likely have even more gimmicks. It will also come with a case, which will look like an attache case.

Each Persona game introduces a new way of summoning a Persona in battle. For example, in Persona 4, characters break a card and in Persona 5, they remove their mask. In Persona 3, characters use the Evoker in a way that looks like they are committing suicide. In the lore of the game, this is to evoke a sense of fear and stress, which helps to manifest a Persona. Unfortunately, Cerevo will likely not make it possible for you to summon a Persona with its Evoker replica.
