Suzuki and Capcom are collaborating to make an actual motorcycle inspired by Juri in Street Fighter 6. The bike will appear during the Capcom Cup 11 and Street Fighter League World Championship 2024 events which will be held between March 5-9, 20255 in Japan.

The Street Fighter 6 collaboration motorcycle is called GSX-8R Tuned by Juri, and it uses the GSX-8R model as its base. The bike won’t be available on sale, and is only for display. The special model features Juri's iconic spider pattern as well as her color scheme to create an aggressive look. Additionally, the Feng Shui Engine that Juri uses on her left eye is also on display on the bike's engine.

The bike will be on display at the Suzuki booth during the aforementioned Capcom Cup 11 event, and a photo booth will be set up for attendants to take pictures alongside the motorcycle. Some of the people attending the Suzuki booth can also opt-in to receive a tote bag and clear file folder with an illustration of Juri on the motorcycle. The GSX-8R Tuned by Juri model will also appear at a special exhibit in a motorcycle show in Osaka held on March 21, 2025, which will also appear in Tokyo and Nagoya afterwards.

You can check out the Street Fighter 6 Juri motorcycle and collaboration goods here:

Street Fighter 6 is readily available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The game is also available in arcades. Mai Shiranui is the latest DLC character to appear.

Capcom Cup IX

The next Capcom Cup now has an official start date. With the official Capcom Pro Tour for this year in progress, the closing event of the series is set for early in 2023. The Capcom Cup IX, as it's being called, will happen in the middle of February 2023. The previous Capcom Cup event was cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns, so it's returning after a year-long absence. This is also where Capcom plans to close the official competitive legacy of Street Fighter V.

Capcom ed a trailer for the Capcom Cup IX, as well.

The new trailer for the Capcom Cup IX puts special emphasis on the fact that the event will act as an official closer for Street Fighter V. The tournament will be held at the Avalon Hollywood & Bardot in Los Angeles, California.

It'll be divided into several phases, beginning with the Last-Chance Qualifiers on February 12-13, 2023. The Last-Chance Qualifiers (LCQs) are held to fill out the last spot in the 32-person bracket. The LCQs are followed by the Group Stage Elimination round, held from February 14-16, 2023. Then come the Street Fighter League World Championship 2022 competition, on February 17-18, 2023. Finally, the Capcom Cup IX World Finals happen on February 19, 2023, leaving a single winner crowned champion.

Besides competitive action, these events are also home to many pivotal announcements from the publisher. With Street Fighter 6 looming as the company's next major fighting game release, it's likely that the Capcom Cup IX will see a narrowing of the game's release window. It's currently set for Spring 2023, but a more specific date could surface at the tourney's end. Capcom may event take the opportunity to announce something completely new, as well.

The Capcom Cup IX will run from February 12 to 19, 2023. Tickets are available via EventBrite, and registrations for the Last-Chance Qualifiers can be done through the Capcom Pro Tour Website.

capcom cup 2020 a

Another event has fallen victim to the COVID-19 pandemic. Capcom announced that, in the interest of ensuring everyone remains healthy and safe, it will not hold the Capcom Cup 2020 as planned. It will prepare an online-only event instead of holding the Street Fighter League Finals on February 19, 2021 and Capcom Pro Tour Finals on February 20-21, 2021 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Punta Cana.

Here’s Capcom’s full statement from Twitter. Initially, when it announced the February 2021 dates for the Capcom Cup 2020, it went over precautions like vigorous COVID-19 testing and social distancing efforts. This also comes after the Capcom Pro Tour itself had to go online starting in June 2020.

Due to the rising cases of COVID-19 worldwide, we have unfortunately made the decision to cancel Capcom Cup and the Street Fighter League World Championship scheduled for February 19th through February 21st. While we strongly believe that we could have executed a great event with limited risk to players, staff and crew, we have reevaluated as the situation has evolved and the state of this global pandemic has heightened.

In its place, we will be producing an online-only Season Final so that we are still able to highlight the best players from this season. All players who won an online premier will be invited to participate in the final and we are in the process of reaching out to all eligible players to secure their participation. Details on the revised format will be available on CapcomProTour.com in the next few weeks.

We’d like to thank the fans, players and FGC for ing Capcom Pro Tour through a challenging season. The community deserves a platform to celebrate their persistence in a challenging year, so our goal is to deliver that on February 20th and 21st across the Capcom Fighters network.

In case you missed it, this is the video for the event Capcom shared in December 2020.

Capcom has not revealed dates or plans for the new Capcom Cup 2020.
