The Naruto & Boruto Shinobi Village attraction at anime theme park Nijigen no Mori will start issuing “money” after you complete certain missions. You can then use this fake money in exchange for original bromides.

The Naruto & Boruto Shinobi Village will start giving out fake money from November 9, 2024. Every time you complete a daily mission, you’ll be able to receive 100 ryo. As a note, the special missions all have their own fee, so you’ll need to pay to participate. For every 100 ryo, you can receive a random bromide. Then, for 300, you can receive three random cards. These random cards will always have an Akatsuki character, a Boruto characters, and an original Suiton Festival design. Finally, for 500 ryo, you can choose your own bromide.

Nijigen no Mori is a theme park in the Hyogo Prefecture that focuses on animation and pop culture. Aside from the Shinobi Village, or Shinobizato, there are attractions for series like Dragon Quest, Monster Hunter, and Godzilla. Activities to do in the Shinobi Village area include making your own incense, learning how to use Hand Seals, and watching light shows on the Hokage Rock.

The Shinobi Village “money” will go into circulation from November 9, 2024. As a reminder, this money is fake and you cannot use it outside of the theme park.

Viz Media announced the release window for volume 1 of the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga volume on social media. It will appear in English in Spring 2025. 

Here’s the official announcement for this new entry. It also shows how the cover for volume 1 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex will look. It is pulling from the same cover design and art as the first chapter of this part of the series’ storyline.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex first started running worldwide back in August 2023. Both Viz Media and MangaPlus offer the first three chapters and three most recent ones in English for us to read. As the first volume already launched in Japan in February 2024, we know it consists of chapters 1-4 of this second part of the story.

For those unfamiliar with the story, Two Blue Vortex involves a time-skip in the Boruto series, just like Shippuden did with Naruto. This latest part involves Boruto no longer being part of the Leaf Village, and attempts on all sides to deal with the Otsutsuki threat.

Volume 1 of the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga will appear in English in Spring 2025. Past Boruto and Naruto volumes are available via Viz Media. The anime is streaming on Crunchyroll.

Ever since its debut in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1999, Naruto has grown into a worldwide phenomenon. With its popular Shippuden anime adaptation and spin-off series consisting of decades of material, we wanted to discuss who we think is the best Naruto character in the entire franchise.

I feel like Gaara is such a cop-out answer because who doesn't like Gaara? But no matter how I rack my brain, I can't really think of a Naruto character I legitimately like more than him (I like Itachi too, but I feel like Itachi is also everyone's favorite). His character arc was really intriguing, his character design after the time skip was super nice, and Ishida Akira knocked it out of the park with his performance. My only complaint about Gaara is that I don't like to play as him in the Naruto games. — Stephanie 

I adore Kakashi and think he’s the best Naruto character. He’s a good teacher who cares about his students but isn’t above being a little silly and childish sometimes. Which is especially appreciated, seeing he can have those moments considering his past. I want only the best for him and all his dogs. — Jenni

Maybe not the most conventional answer, but my favorite character in Naruto is Hinata Hyuga. While the series has many great arcs, I really related to her journey from starting out as a shy person to becoming an absolute warrior. Considering she could only speak a few words when Naruto is first introduced to her, it's just incredible to see her fight alongside him as the series progresses. I think many people can relate to her story of being timid due to wanting to please others. That is why I found it so satisfying when she eventually finds her voice and becomes a formidable foe who can stand by Naruto's side. — Brent

A new Boruto Pop-Up store will feature newly drawn character designs based on tarot cards. The pop-up store will be available from October 19 to November 17, 2023 at the Ikebukuro P’Parco Annex Store in Higashiikebukuro, Tokyo. The new Boruto tarot merchandise will also be available for purchase from the eeo Store, and it will release online on November 17, 2023.

The new pop-up store will feature eight characters from the anime series. These are Boruto, Sarada, Mitsuki, Kawaki, Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Hinata.

The long-awaited next chapter of Boruto finally been released under a new title: Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. It released on Viz Media and MangaPlus and is available to read for free on both platforms. It is the beginning to the second part of Boruto’s story after part one ended back in April 2023 and picks up after a timeskip.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex continues the story of Kawaki Uzumaki, the son of Naruto who is... wait. Sorry, that was odd. Boruto: Two Blue Vortex continues the story of Boruto Uzumaki where part 1 left off. Taking place after a time skip of 3 years, Boruto is still running after everyone believes that he killed Naruto due to Eida’s Omnipotence ability, which grants the their deepest desire.

Chapter 1 opens with Sarada Uchiha still trying to convince Nara Shikamaru, the newly appointed Eighth Hokage, that Boruto did not kill the Seventh, and that everyone has been effectively brainwashed. Unfortunately, the only ones who still have their true memories are Sarada and Sumire Kakei. Meanwhile everyone else is living with the “knowledge” that Boruto, an outsider, killed Naruto and is now on the run. Why Sakada and Sumire have been unaffected by Eida’s omnipotence is still a point of mystery, which eludes Eida herself.

Kawaki is working alongside the shinobi to help protect themselves from Code as well as hunt down Boruto, whom he previously viewed as a brother. We also see Mitsuki, who is extremely protective of Kawaki. All of the shinobi are helping as they are constantly training and on the lookout for both. However, we see also see Himawari, Naruto’s daughter, training. It’s hinted that she also may have memories of the actual Boruto and how he had fought to save his father and others before, so there’s a lingering possibility that those closest to the two still have some memories before the omnipotence.

Part way through Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 1, it’s revealed that Code is attacking and leaving scars throughout the area. Although Kawaki is able to easily handle these, they find that Code is leaving these scars on people as well. He is able to transport his fighters through these scars, as well as himself.

After getting alerted to unknown chakras, the shinobi gather to fight the monsters that Code has sent. Kawaki begins fighting some of the monsters, as does Sarada, and then Code reveals himself to her. He tells her that he is getting tired of hunting down Boruto with little results and Sarada shoots back that they haven’t seen or found him either.

Code isn’t here to find Boruto though, he’s here to get him to come out. He’s decided to change his tactics and rather than keep chasing him, he’s going to use his friends as bait since Code believes Boruto still has feelings for his friends. Then, as if on command, Boruto lands on Code and the stage is set for a possible 3-way fight between Code and his monsters, Boruto (and possibly his friend), as well as the shinobi.

Chapter 2 is set to release on September 20, 2023 on Viz Media as well as MangaPlus. The anime is available on Crunchyroll.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Naruto and Boruto franchise, the series’ official website revealed a new pop-up shop collaboration with Sanrio. It will feature popular characters from both franchises paired up. The collaboration will begin in Japan on August 25, 2023, and it will last until September 7, 2023. The items will also be available to purchase from the Tokyo Character Street online storefront.

The new Naruto and Boruto Sanrio pop-up shop will be located at the Tokyo Character Street, inside First Avenue Tokyo Station. The new merchandise features newly drawn illustrations of Naruto and Boruto characters accompanied by popular Sanrio characters, as well as wearing various Sanrio-themed accessories. Additionally, a limited number of novelty stickers will be given as a gift to customers.

This week, we'll see the Boruto manga return in chapter 81 with the Two Blue Vortex timeskip. The new chapter will appear on August 20, 2023. People will be able to read it for free on MangaPlus and Viz Media's official sites. It also means we'll get to see the Boruto timeskip look in action for the first time.

There's been quite a gap between chapters. Back in April 2023, a three month hiatus was announced. Chapter 80 of the Boruto manga appeared back on April 18, 2023, and it is still available to read for free on both MangaPlus and Viz ahead of the debut of chapter 81. This allows people to catch up with what happened before the cliffhanger.

Ahead of the new release, we did get a peek at how Boruto looks after the timeskip. The cover for the V-Jump magazine showing the older version of the character already appeared online. Viz Media also released a new piece of art highlighting his appearance.

A new timeskip redesign for Boruto was shown on the cover of the October 2023 issue of V-Jump magazine. The character will don this new design when Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, the second major arc of the manga series, releases on August 20, 2023. Two Blue Vortex happens after a four-year time skip set after the end of chapter 80 of Boruto.

One of the promises this new arc brings is catching up to the flash forward timeskip shown at the beginning of the Boruto series. In it, Boruto and Kawaki are shown about to face off on the ruins of the Hidden Leaf Village. This confrontation will seemingly bring a new Ninja War to the world of Naruto.

The Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga went on a three-month long hiatus at the end of April 2023, after the release of chapter 80. The new cover for V-Jump also reminds the public that four new episodes of the classic Naruto anime series will appear on September 2023.

The new Boruto timeskip design will appear in chapter 81 of the manga. The chapter will be available on the October 2023 issue of the V-Jump magazine, which releases on August 20, 2023.

Bandai will release a two-piece ring based on Naruto and Hinata in Boruto. One ring is purple (for Hinata), the other is yellow (for Naruto), and together, they form a Hidden Leaf symbol. It will cost 13,200 JPY (around $97) and it will come out in July 2023. Pre-orders for the ring will be open until June 4, 2023.

When ordering the two-piece Boruto ring via Bandai, you can choose your finger size. It ranges from size 9 to 19. However, Bandai does not offer international shipping. So overseas customers will have to use a proxy service if they’re interested. As a two-piece ring, you can wear the rings together to form a single one or give one to a partner.

Naruto and Hinata are married and have two children in the series. Their son is, after all, the titular protagonist of Boruto. The show premiered in 2017, and introduced fans to an post-Industrial Revolution Hidden Leaf Village and older versions of familiar faces. Naruto and Hinata also have a daughter, whose name is Himawari.

The Boruto ring is open for pre-order until June 4, 2023 and it will come out in July 2023. Boruto is available for streaming on services such as Crunchyroll and a second season is in development.

New leaks indicate that the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga series will go on hiatus for three months after the release of the next chapter. The V Jump magazines release with a two month difference from the month indicated on the issue, so the magazine releasing on August 2023 will be the October 2023 issue. With news of this new hiatus, and the recent ending of the first part of the Boruto anime adaptation, people will have to wait for a while until they can see the continuation of the story.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations follows Boruto Uzumaki, the son of previous protagonist Naruto Uzumaki. The sequel is building up a to new Ninja War teased in the first chapters of the series between Boruto and his adopted brother Kawaki. This new confrontation will lead to the end of the Shinobi Era.

The Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga will return on the October 2023 issue of the V Jump magazine. Viz Media publishes the Boruto manga in English. Meanwhile, the first part of the anime adaptation of Boruto finished airing in March 2023, and a new anime is planned to release in September 2023.

The next generation of ninjas is coming to an end. According to the official Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime website, Boruto Part 1 will see its finale arrive with episode 293. The episode airs on March 26, 2023, and will close out "Part 1" of the Boruto story. Viz Media, which publishes Shonen Jump in English, confirmed the finale date via its own .

The Boruto Part 1 finale will air and cap a continuous six-year run of the show since it premiered in April 2017. The story isn't over yet, though, as production of Boruto Part 2 is already underway. The site didn't clarify when it would air, though.

In Boruto: Naruto Next Generations' place, though, a new anime project is planned. In September 2023, a "brand new" four-episode series will air, to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Naruto. The episodes will likely feature of the original Naruto cast, given the timing. In addition, from July 2023, reruns of specially selected episodes of Naruto and Naruto Shippuden will air in Japan.

Boruto Part 1 stars the titular Boruto, son of Naruto Uzumaki. Naruto has grown up and become the Seventh Hokage and leader of the Hidden Leaf village. He's also married Hinata Hyuga and together they had two children: Boruto and Himawari. Boruto s a ninja team alongside Sarada Uchiha (daughter of Sasuke and Sakura) and Mitsuki, the son of Orochimaru. The stories in Boruto center around the emergence of new threats to the world that emerged following the Fourth Shinobi World War, as well as Boruto and his companions' growth as young ninjas.

The Boruto Part 1 anime finale airs on March 26, 2023. The anime is available from various streaming services, including Crunchyroll. The manga is published in English by Viz Media. Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections is a new fighting game that was announced in February 2023 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC.

The Naruto official website shared new information about the Naruto x Boruto VR Mission: Zero attraction. Prior to its official Japanese release on March 21, 2023, a special trial session will be held at DiverCity Tokyo Plaza in Odaiba through March 11-12, 2023. Those who participate in the trial session will also receive a special gift. Applications can be made through the website of the event, and they are accepting up to 160 people. The application period runs through February 15-26, 2023. The price of the attraction will be 2,500 JPY ($18 USD) on weekdays, and 3,000 JPY ($22 USD) during weekends and holidays.

The event will open to the public on March 21, 2023, and it will be available until May 28. Additionally, a four-day will run through March 17-20, 2023. It will available as part of the advance option, and details about it will be announced at a later date. The 6 available playable characters are Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, Itachi, and Boruto. A metaverse attraction called Naruto X Boruto VR will go live in Spring 2023. This will be a VR ninja training experience. You will be able to have Kakashi, Sakura, Naruto, Boruto, Sasuke, or Itachi to train you in the arts of ninjutsu. The Naruto X Boruto VR Mission: Zero experience will run from March 21, 2023 to May 28, 2023 in DiverCity Tokyo Plaza. It will cost between 2,500 and 3,000 JPY, depending on what day you go.

There are four different missions that you have to complete in order to be a full-fledged Konoha shinobi. Your first training is to learn how to run and jump through a VR recreation of Konoha. Then, you learn how to use the Rasengan and aim it at enemy ninjas. Afterwards, you learn how to imbue a sword with chakra and then smack people with it. Finally, you have to use your training to defend the village from Shukaku.

The Naruto x Boruto VR experience will likely be a limited time attraction rather than a gaming experience you can purchase or take home. The game will randomly select a trainer for you. It is unclear if characters like Sasuke or Sakura will teach you moves other than the Rasengan if they train you. After your training, you can purchase limited edition merchandise from the site or take pictures with Naruto characters in VR.

The Naruto X Boruto VR attraction will be available from March 21, 2023 to May 28, 2023 in DiverCity Tokyo Plaza. For those who want to learn the Ninja Way without actually being a ninja, you can read the first 90 chapters of Naruto for free until the end of January 2023.
